[Aspell-user] Alphanumeric words and dictionnary

2002-09-30 Thread Francois Boudreau

Is there a way to add alphanumeric word in the personnal dictionnary? I
tried from the API and I tried manually, both failed.

Is this a design choice? Would it involve much work to change that?

By the way, I successfully compiled aspell library on VC++. We had no use
for the actual .exe so I didn't try, but that shouldn't be harder. It took
me around 40 hours to get the job done. But I just graduated and had almost
no experience with templates and namespaces. Most problems are easy to fix
but they are so unusual that you often have to experiment for quite a while
before finding where the bug really is.

Basically, dealing with numbers in words would complicate things. Since so
many people have been requesting it I will considering adding support in
the near future.

Great, than in that case can I please have a patch? Thanks in advance.
