Re: [asterisk-users] Overriding global voicemail options on a per-mailbox basis

So my question is this: Does anyone know which options can and can't

are there 26? Where can I find a definitive answer? It would be extremely
time consuming to test each option individually.

This is not an answer, just an observation ...

The fourth edition of The Asterisk book is based on Asterisk 11.

Best.

Re: [asterisk-users] Dynamic Parking Lots. Music on Hold Class

2014-08-21 Thread Bryant Zimmerman
How can we set the music on hold class using the Dynamic Parking lots?

The variables set the PARKINGLOT, PARKINGDYNAMIC,
PARKINGDYNPOS,PARKINGEXT,PARKINGDYNCONTEXT

I can't find a PARKINGMOH variable. This is becoming a big issue. We are
using the current release 11. version

We have to be able to set the MOH dynamically I just can't find the
mechanism. Any ideas?

 Thanks

[asterisk-users] [DAHDI] qozap instead of wcb4xxp

2014-08-21 Thread Simon Vargas
Hello,

I have a Cologne Chip Designs GmbH ISDN network Controller [HFC-4S] card which
seems to work on 1 machine but not on another. It SHOULD load this driver:

dahdi_hardware -v

Instead of:

dahdi_hardware -v

There is no qozap modul in lib/modules but I tried to blacklist it anyway. The

Putting the card to other slot doesn't help. That would be nice if some of the

Thanks!

Re: [asterisk-users] Dynamic Parking Lots. Music on Hold Class

2014-08-21 Thread John Kiniston
Have you tried just setting the music on hold for the channel before you
park your call?

Set(CHANNEL(musicclass)=classical)

I just did a quick test and it appears to work on 1.8 however I am not
using a dynamic lot.

[asterisk-users] Billing software: Other than A2Billing because of the problem with the analogue channels

2014-08-21 Thread bilal ghayyad
Hello;

I am facing a trouble with A2Billing when using analogue lines because the
channels are not closing properly when dialing happen through A2Billing (it
seems the dialing scenario including the hangup is not handled properly through
A2Billing but I do not have control on this). But when I do dialing from
asterisk and using analogue lines, I do not face a trouble because I can write
the script in the extensions.conf in professional way to confirm that the
channel is closed successfully.

Is there alternative Billing solution than A2Billing which has another working
mechanism? How I can resolve such problem which is related to the analogue
channels?

Regards
Bilal--

[asterisk-users] DPMA: User SIP settings missing or invalid

2014-08-21 Thread Mitch Claborn

Asterisk 12.5.0
DPMA 12.0_2.0.0
Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit

[2014-08-21 16:37:49] WARNING[5797]: phone_users.c:5236 set_and_process:
User SIP settings missing or invalid

I'm getting the error message above when DPMA is enabled, using a fresh
build but with my config files from Asterisk 11. Any idea what it
means? I can't find the phone_users.c file to examine the source
(assuming it is part of DPMA which has no source, rather than Asterisk).

I can't tell that anything is not working - I can configure and connect
at least one Digium phone.

Make sure the func_presencestate.so module is being loaded. Did you
compile Asterisk yourself or are you using a pre-built from a distro?

I'd try unloading then loading it and see if any message show up. Can
you do a core show function PRESENCE_STATE?

I don't remember having to do anything special when I went from 11 to 12
other than downloading the new DPMA module for 12.
