[Asterisk-Users] Increase transmit volume on IAX channels
Is there currently any way to increase the transmit volume on IAX channels? I haven't seen any documentation for this. I'm getting complaints from the people that I call saying it's hard to hear me. I'm currently using GnoPhone on my computer, asterisk 0.7.2, the Mic volume is at 100%, and the Mic Boost is set using KDE's mixer app. Any information will be helpful. Thanks in advance. -- Christopher Lewis [EMAIL PROTECTED] Office (360) 968-1606 Fax (707) 598-2550 ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
Fwd: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Disable IAX1 Registrations
Just in case anyone else is looking for this information, I'm posting the answer here. I do need to double check if this works with asterisk = 0.9.0. I've heard rumors that IAX1 support has been removed in newer versions. -- Forwarded Message -- Subject: Re: [Asterisk-Users] Disable IAX1 Registrations Date: Thursday 17 June 2004 04:43 pm From: Chris A. Icide To: Christopher Lewis Christopher, Create a iax1.conf file (iax.conf is actually the config file for IAX2 in versions of asterisk that have both iax implementations). Then set the registrations you want for IAX2 in the iax.conf file and registrations you want for IAX1 in the iax1.conf file. Shutdown and restart asterisk. -Chris ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[Asterisk-Users] Disable IAX1 Registrations
I was just noticing that my asterisk box is trying to register with my providers on both IAX1 and IAX2. They do register on IAX2, but it seems like it keeps trying to register with IAX1 also. Is there a way to disable this behavior, or am I just misunderstanding it. I just want to make sure I'm not wasting processor time and bandwidth trying to register IAX1 when it is already registered with IAX2. I am using Asterisk 0.7.2 and GnoPhone 0.2.4, so I believe I still need to use my IAX1 channel for that. Also, I did find a patch that is supposed to help this problem, but I don't know what it does, or if it has already been implemented. The link to it is here: http://lists.digium.com/pipermail/asterisk-users/2003-December/031226.html Any info is appreciated. [Asterisk-Users] Re: Asterisk-Users digest, Vol 1 #3921 - 15 msgs
spandsp and HylaFAX will not currently play together. I did some work towards giving the FAX modem in spandsp and optional Class 1 AT interface, but it is unfinished. Regards, Steve Okay, not that I know anything about programming, telephony, SpanDSP, or modems in particular, let's suppose that I want to try implementing these features. Where would I be able to find it? By 'it', I mean which files and which lines show some Fax Class 1 functions. Thanks for your input. -- Christopher Lewis ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
RE: [Asterisk-Users] spandsp hylafax asterisk and confusion
I appreciate all the support SpanDSP is getting on this list, and the work that went into developing it. It's nice to see that Asterisk actually supports sending and receiving faxes now. One thing I was expecting to see here is that HylaFax works with SpanDSP, but I haven't seen any documentation for this. Is it possible to use SpanDSP in conjunction with HylaFax to route the printing and/or emailing of faxes. -- Christopher Lewis ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[Asterisk-Users] Voicemail Indication Software
Does anybody know of any software that can show the status of voicemail messages? Or at least provide a visual indication that I have new voicemail? Right now I am using Gnophone and I'm checking manually.
