[Asterisk-Users] IAX Devices Recommendation

2005-08-01 Thread Graham Pearson

Does anyone have any recommendations on an IAX Desktop Telephone or ATA
Device. I currently have 2 of the SIPURA-841's on my local network and
now I am wanting to try an IAX Device at my remote office since I think
that it would be easier to configure through various routers than a SIP
Device. I just started to look at the Digium IAXy Single FXS Adapter but
unable to find a Telephone that supports the IAX Protocol. Any
Recommendations or is the Digium FXS Adapter the way to go.

[Asterisk-Users] Port Inquiry

2005-06-15 Thread Graham Pearson

I have been learning asterisk for approx 3 months. On my asterisk server
when I do a TCPDump I am getting messages like:

23:44:18.401093 voip.glcomputers.com vlan-157-game-40.comnet.bg: icmp:
voip.glcomputers.com udp port 1026 unreachable [tos 0xc0]

Most of the time it just gives me an ip address like 61.152.158.126,
61.152.158.101, 218.83.153.58, 147.135.12.6, 220.168.156.71 and either
port 1026 or 1027. Anyone share information on this?

Other Ports which are unreachable are 33473-33475, 334676, 33438, 33479
which from what I can tell is apart of my SIP Provider which is
Broadvoice at the present time.

Does anyone know how to change the NOAA Location upon the *61. When I
dial it, I am getting weather for New York City and would like to get
weather info for South Bend, IN

I am wanting to know where the template file is for the VoiceMail Email
Message. At the present time, the URL Link has a wrong address and I
would like to change this to point to the correct address.

[Asterisk-Users] Echo Issues via SIP

2005-06-06 Thread Graham Pearson
-BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-

I am semi new to Asterisk and have [EMAIL PROTECTED] 1.1 up and running with
an SIP account behind a DLink Firewall. I am able to make calls to
extensions on the network and on a remote network without any problems.
My question is every once and awhile I will either hear an echo or the
remote party will hear an echo. When I hear an echo, I tend to ignore it
but the remote party does not.

How does one troubleshoot an echo during a call when it does not happen
on every call and it could happen just once per hour or once per week.

[Asterisk-Users] Debugging SIP Connection

2005-06-06 Thread Graham Pearson

How does one debug the SIP Protocol. I am having problems every once and
awhile and since the issues do not happen on every call, it is hard to
pinpoint and I want to exhaust all of my options to make sure it is not
my equipment.
