[Asterisk-Users] wIPPhone with Asterisk
Has anyone sucessfully set up wIP Phone for asterisk? ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
[Asterisk-Users] Asterisk Auto-Startup on Ubuntu/Debian
I'm having trouble getting asterisk to run at startup using Ubuntu. I've checked, and the asterisk dameon is set to run at init 5. However, I'm not seeing anything that says that asterisk has been started during the boot process. Oddly, when I shut the machine down/run init6, it says Starting Asterisk PBX. Odd. I'm using the default scripts that came with asterisk (I installed using synaptic and the debian universe repositories). I've edited /etc/default/asterisk, uncommented the first line and changed start asterisk to yes. Anybody know what might be wrong? ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
Re: [Asterisk-Users] Asterisk Auto-Startup on Ubuntu/Debian
By default, synaptic puts init scripts in all runlevel folders. All are exactly the same, except for init 6, which is supposed to kill the process. [Asterisk-Users] Perform Action after X invalid tries
Hello, I'd like to make it so that after 5 invalid attempts of entering an extension, the Hangup command will be issued. How would I go about doing this? ___ Asterisk-Users mailing list Asterisk-Users@lists.digium.com http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
RE:[Asterisk-Users] Script to Authenticate User and Dial Out
That seems great, except for some reason, its not working. I'm able to dial any extension on the system, not the ones I'm trying to define in a context. Here's what I have that accepts the incoming calls: [did] exten = 9995,1,Answer exten = 9995,n,Background(welcome) exten = 9995,n,WaitExten include = didcalling The context didcalling has the contexts you suggested. However, since I can make any call on the system (in the default context), its pointless. What am I doing wrong? [Asterisk-Users] Script to Authenticate User and Dial Out
Hello. I'm looking for a script that I can use that will ask users for a password, and then let them call any extension on the asterisk server. Does anyone know of a premade script that can do this, or a resource I could use to make my own?
