Shaun, Follwing more tests : 1) In production box asterisk works with 2.4.X dahdi tree + kernel 2.33.x tree. I can put the trunk up and recieve some calls . 2) In the same box I had tested dahdi 2.6.X + same kernel, when run dahdi_cfg this error messages comes , in dahdi_cfg running and no interrupts are in dmesg .. Any idea ? Loading DAHDI hardware modules: wct4xxp: [ OK ] wcfxo: [ OK ] Running dahdi_cfg: DAHDI startup failed: Input/output error Please see the follwing quoted ( in old messages ) text about 2.6 dahdis, as you can see in devel box, dahdi_cfg works in new dadhdi ( I not know if pri goes up in asterisk, because this box are without ) Any idea here ? 3) I remember some problems in dahdi=2.6 our 2.5 with newer kernel trees. This issue ( new dahd's not works and old dahd's not compile in new kerne tree) will be a problem in future time. A brazilian guy post to me that are problems in new dahdi and old boards.. , can you confirm any issue in this points ? It's give me a confirmation about it is not a hardware issue, the only changes are in software. In the development box, a hardware problem iss possible, I will make a copy of the working software and put in it to clarify this doubt. Re: [asterisk-users] TE410P (1st) without cables always green
News from Zaptel.. I patch the last zaptel.1.2.27 to compiles in 2.6.33 kernels series Surprise !! 20: 68011 71871 IO-APIC-fasteoi wct4xxp in zttool the spans are RED, all is working with pre 1.4 zaptel and dahdi. The problems are in changes between zaptel.1.2.X and zaptel.1.4.X. I thinking now that is an old issue added from 1.2 to 1.4 branches and sucessivily to dahdi branches, and I lost something in past. [Asterisk-Users] Adtran TA 750 Channel Bank config
Hello, What is the minimal configuration ( Chassi, modules, power supply, etc. ) to connect a Adtran 750 Channel Bank to a second port at TE410P board, and provide 24 FXS to analog extensions phones ? - The TE410P first port is will be connected to a ISDN-PRI fractional with 15 lines. Is it a good channel bank ? Are there some problems with this config ( like echo, latency and others ) or this config is like a comercial Digital PBX solution ? Re: [Asterisk-Users] G.729 vs. G.729 pass thru
Hello, I am testing * in a developer computer. Can I uninstall the license and transfer it to a production computer in future ? []s Marcio Gomes Derek Samford wrote: As long as you have a IDE drive available, and mounted when you install it, it will work. This includes CD ROM's...It's what I did. Funkiness with the registration process. As far as pass through goes, from what I understand, it *should*, but when you have licensed binaries, from what I've seen, it doesn't. It's actually used 2 licenses. I plan on figuring that out next. If the VoIP termination point supports G.729 and you are using sip phone (soft/hard phone), can you use the G.729 pass thru or you have to buy the license? Have anyone test it with SCSI system? Seems like it only work on machine with IDE disk. Re: [Asterisk-Users] Brazilian Protocol
Q.462 to Q.478 cover R2. You need to know how it has been modified in each country too, as nobody quite implements the ITU specs. In some weeks we will buy 405 or 410 bords if it works with Brazilian ISDN-PRI, also we will stop using some E1 trunks.. if anyone is able to port R2 MFC-5C signals to boards, we can keep one E1 trunk to this tests. Re: [Asterisk-Users] Brazilian Protocol
You need a R2 converter. R2lib is under construction. - When in PRI (Primary Rate ISDN), does it support CSS7 DSS1 ? - Is asterisk pabx enough to implement these protocols o we need other drivers/software? - Do you know if any brazilian telco (Telemar, Vesper, Embratel, GVT, Telefonica, BRT, etc) supports custumers with you hardware? GVT supports E1/ISDN. What is the ISDN Sinalization from GVT, I think using PRI Lines with telco in Brazil, we will have comaptibility with Digium Borads! Is it correct ?
