[Asterisk-Users] voicemail issue

2004-02-03 Thread Rohde
I've looked online through both google and bugs.digium.com and cannot seem
to find this problem anywhere, so i'll ask its unpatched source code for
both and everything else works fine.

Does anyone else have the issue of asterisk dying with no messages when
trying to transfer a voicemail from one mailbox to another?
I though it might be an issue with the CVS-12/07/03-20:38:37 so I
updated my backup server on Tues 01/15/04 to see if that would resolve the
issue.

It still dies with only this debuging code.
DEBUG[-1084641152]: File asterisk.c, Line 497 (quit_handler): Asterisk
ending (0).

My backup asterisk server is a dd copy of the primary asterisk server,
so everything is configured the same I just change the hdd I'm running
in the system.

This is occurs when I try to transfer a voicemail, from any user to any
user,
I've even tried with only one context.

Any thoughts on what I can try?
Anyone else seen this, or has anyone else even tried to use this feature?

Rohde

Re: [Asterisk-Users] X100P CallOut Problems !!

2004-01-20 Thread Rohde
try changing the stripmsd variable from 1 to 0 in the extensions.conf file.
i had a similar problem till i listened to the line while it was dialing and
it was not dialing one of the digits
my zapata.conf file has an optin for suppressing the 9 in it. i left it in
there, because i only use the x100p for dialing

cheers

When the phone boots up, look in the right side of the LCD, you should
see a version of the call already installed. Mine said G2.04. Then you
go to channels/chan_skinny.c and edit the version_id on line 71 to match
your version. Here is my line.

 static char version_id[16] = P002G204;

Don't forget to make clean install after the change and restart
asterisk. At that point, you don't need any tftp files.

[Asterisk-Users] MGCP error for Cisco 7750 FXO card

2003-10-22 Thread aaron rohde
Can anyone tell me what MGCP error that I'm getting means?
The hardware is a MRP200 in a Cisco 7750 PBX. (Its a FXO blade with 2 slots, first one
has a 4 port FXO card and the second has 2 port FXO card. It recognises those
correctly, at least to the point of this error.)
