Could you point me some step-by-step instructions? I hadn't figure out
what I'm doing wrong. I started over several times and did not find

Many thanks in advance.

Both. It works on Linux, but not yet on Windows.

The package the java compiler is not founding is:

 net.sourceforge.iaxclient.jni

That's part of the source package; probably the classpath just needs
to be tweaked.

[Asterisk-Users] JIAX status

2006-06-11 Thread Rubens Zupelli Filho
HI, Anyone knows the current status of JIAXclient? I tried to recompile the sources available in sourceforge but they reference a old java package that I was not able to find. I tried to e-mail the author but seems that his account is no longer valid.
I in need of a java IAX client that could be loaded as an applet. I know thatis a lot of viable SIP alternatives, but due to NAT/Firewall restrictions use ofIAX would be easier. Thanks in advance,

I have been playing with jiaxclient 0.0.6, and it seems to mostly work
if you have a working copy of the C iaxclient library. I would test
iaxclient with the command-line tools that come with it and make sure
that all works satisfactorily before moving on to JIAXClient, since
the Java code is built on top of the C library.

I tried to recompile the sources available in sourceforge but
they reference a old java package that I was not able to find.

What package?

Scott.

[Asterisk-Users] newbie install problems

2004-04-23 Thread Rubens Zupelli Filho
Hi

I'm new with asterisk, and I´m trying to install it with a X100P card. I
stuck on some problems/issues.
Could someone clarify me some points ?

1. I did a cvs checkout, did a 'make' and 'make install' . From the make
output seems that some headers (.h) files
for some codecs are missing. Is that ok?

2. Zaptel and Libpri did make and make install without noticeable warnings,
but when I try to dial out thru X100P card
(or best, as soon as asterisk initiate diallling with X100P) I get a kind
of fast beep from asterisk (like a rapid busytone) that
persists until both ends hangup. Any tip on what is going on? Is that normal ?

3. After a dial out (or dial in/answer) the X100P card hangs and do not
respond to any command until asterisk is finished (stop now/gracefully)
and the drivers are reload (rmmod and modprobe again a few times).

4. Sound output quality for IAX-IAX, SIP-SIP and IAX-SIP calls are great.
Sound quality for X100P is very poor (not understandable) either with IAX
or SIP.

I'm using a Debian kernel 2.4.22 with all (second the archives/docs)
pre-reqs packages.

Thanks in advance.
