Hello,

Use the cross-over schema for creating a self cross connector.
Meaning you will connect your TX pair to your RX pair. This will be the
test of the physical layer of your card and the flashing red light of
the led will have to turn in green. Otherwise something is not
working/configured properly in your card.

2007-02-21 Thread younss azzayani

Hello every body,
I ve installed Trixbox 1.2 on DELL OPTIPLEX GX 240, i upgreded it to

the first card is TDM400P: it's ok
the second is TE110P: it's not ok . No led is on neither the red nor the green
when i type zttool, i remark that the TE110P is detected but not configured

My Primary access line has 31 channel that's mean E1 access (no?)
i ve made a cable RJ45 (1-4,2-5);
so my problem is with TE110P,
can someone give me a help please ?

Seems to say you don't have full kernel source. That's a requirement for
kernel 2.4.

i can't believe noone has mentioned he did a 'make linux26' when his kernel
is obviously a 2.4

Can't believe myself:-)

you don't have to connect the power connecter to TDM if you are using

 Hi,

I'm using a Thomason ST2030. Had difficulties in the beginning, but
after a firmware upgrade it works fine. And autoprovisioning works good.
Most of the parameters are described in their official (marked as
confidential) admin documentation from their website. Even a centralized
 phonebook is possible.

Re: [asterisk-users] Asterisk and 802.11g

2007-02-08 Thread younss azzayani

did you test to call from a soft phone using pstn, if you get a bad
sound that s mean that the zaptel param must be changed if not try to
call from a soft phone your wirless phones and test

2007/2/8, Yuan LIU [EMAIL PROTECTED]:

I'm greatly surprised when testing an Asterisk box with 802.11g. Here's the
topology:

VoIP caller --- 802.11g --- Asterisk --- 802.11g --- VoIP extension
   |
 FXO ___ PSTN extension

When I call a VoIP extension on that box (from a VoIP extension), voice is
good. But when this box tries to bridge the call with a PSTN extension,
voice is completely broken. And it's not because of the cheap X100P - when
I ping the box, round trip is 4,000 ms, most of the time causing timeout.
Once the call hangs up, ping time dropped to 1-2 ms. Ping time started to
surge even when FXO is simply ringing.

If VoIP to VoIP extension call uses re-invite (which it did), voice is also
good in the Console channel.

How can voice traffic stall 802.11g? (I haven't checked, but CODEC is likely
ulaw.)

Are there any scripts out there that would help me stress test two boxes
that are setup back to back with 4 PRI connections? We're having
problems with Sangoma cards w/ PCI-e on HP DL385 G2 hardware and I'm
tired of testing them in a production environment. As Sangoma
provides firmware updates (and various other shots in the dark) I'd like
to be able see if the problem is fixed in an isolated environment. I
just need a way to simulate call volume on 4 t1s.

Please don't reply to an existing message to start a new topic. It
screws up the message threading.

Thanks,

 Hi,

I'm looking for an hardware platform for an * installation that should
have at least 3 PCI slot with no irq sharing whatsoever.

Use an industrial PC with a backplane bus. You can easily get 3-4 usable
 slots in a 2U and 10-14 slots if you use a 4U...

...and have zillions of dollars :)

Industrial PCs are pretty expensive.
