[Asterisk-Users] 7960g 2nd ethernet port cycles on/off

I saw a thread from 2003 that addressed this problem but they didn't post a fix: 
When I plug my PC into the 2nd ethernet jack on my Cisco 7960g it loses
connection on and off for ~30 seconds at a time. I tried playing with
setting the speed from auto to 100/full, half, etc. to no avail. Any
help on this would be appreciated.
