You can do without registration these days - the Voiptalk routing for DIDs allows you to specify a SIP URI directly. (Route to an external provider). You still need to register if you want to receive calls to your @voiptalk.org number, though. There are lots of UK providers, it depends what kind of service and how many numbers you want. Various carriers like CW, Thus, Colt etc have VoIP origination and termination services, but you're probably looking at millions of minutes per month to make it worth their while. Further down the chain you've got companies like Gradwell.com who are more suited to your needs. The Times (newspaper) did a comparison of VoIP companies, rates, set-up etc which is probably still on their on-line site. Steve p.s. You can try Voxboned(www.voxbone.com) if you need inbound only. I have lots of accounts registered but cannot get asterisk to register and recieve calls for those accounts. I have several registrations - FWD, sipgate (2), plusnet ,gossiptel. You just have multiple register statements in sip.conf, and handle the different incoming ID's in extensions.conf.
