[asterisk-users] Queue problem, ringing agents.
I'm running Asterisk 1.6.0.21 and Aastra 57i phones. I'm having an issue with the agent phones ringing when someone is in our queue. The first phone will ring 3 to 4 times then the call will roll over to the next phone as expected. However, any phone after the first one will only ring once and the wait between that phone and the next will be as if it if ringing 3 to 4 times. My queues.conf is as follows: [general] ; ; Global settings for call queues ; (none exist currently) ; ; Note that a timeout to fail out of a queue may be passed as part of application call ; from extensions.conf: ; Queue(queuename|[options]|[optionalurl]|[announceoverride]|[timeout]) ; example: Queue(dave|t|||45) #include queues_general_additional.conf #include queues_custom_general.conf [default] ; ; Default settings for queues (currently unused) ; #include queues_custom.conf #include queues_additional.conf #include queues_post_custom.conf queues_general_additional.conf: ;; ; Do NOT edit this file as it is auto-generated by FreePBX. [asterisk-users] Queue problem
Hi, I am using Asterisk 1.4.23.1. I have the following context: [queue_context] exten = s,1,Queue(test) exten = s,n,Verbose(1|test) exten = s,n,Voicemail(5...@test) exten = s,n,Hangup() After 60 seconds, the call always hangs up. No Verbose, no Voicemail, nothing shows up in the CLI. Just a hangup. Any ideas? [asterisk-users] Queue problem
Hi, I have 3 queues and they have the same weight. But one of the queues receives a lot of calls (much more than the other two) so people on that queue usually have to wait much more than the others. Is there a way to make asterisk determine the longest waiting call and give priority to that call, having the 3 queues (I know that if I had just one queue, this would be the natural behavior). [asterisk-users] queue problem
I have a queue with the following setting. total queue member =30, autofill=1, timeout=25, monitor_format=wav49 asterisk 1.4.18 In busy hour, the loading of CPU reaches over 300%. At that moment, all members are occupied and many calls are waiting in the queue. There will be choppy and line cut at such high CPU loading. My questions: 1. What is the max capacity of a server to handle a queue in term of queue member and calls? 2. After every 25s, the call will be switched from agent to another agent. Can I do something, say execute a CLI or shell command before it switches to another agent? ango ___ -- Bandwidth and Colocation Provided by http://www.api-digital.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users

Hi, I was having huge problems with AsteriskNow 1.0.1 which is packaged with asterisk 1.4.18(.1? not sure). Most of them came with the deploiment of our support center call queue. With only 2/3 agents and max 6/10 simultaneous calls the system goes wazaa and eat the 4 cores of the xeon 1.6 cpu, users gets stucks in 'in use' state (while normaly this flags doesn't work) and everything goes from bad to worse. I've rebuild it using etch/amd64 and manual build of asterisk 1.4.20rc2 (1.4.19.2 wasn't out and i have some IAX calls) and now everything is fine. My questions: 1. What is the max capacity of a server to handle a queue in term of queue member and calls? Do you use IAX2 ? there is major improvement in this with 1.4.19.2 / 1.4.20. 2. After every 25s, the call will be switched from agent to another agent. Re: [asterisk-users] Queue problem
Set your core debug level to greater than 2 SET DEBUG seems not to have any effect on my asterisk. Let us know what you find. The effect was caused by an misconfigured phone: The phone did nod signal busy but ringing due to an call waiting indication. Switching off call wating indication should remove the problem. Hi, On asterisk 1.4.4 I have an strange effect on agents answering queue calls: If an agent does set current call on hold the phone immediately gets connected to the next incoming call. What might cause this effect? How can it be removed? Set your core debug level to greater than 2 and then try this process again and the go into your log that you've redirect DEBUG messages to and search on changed to state . I think you'll find that by doing what you're doing above, the caller's channel state will change to some kind of ONHOLD state (if SIP - or other channel tech that supports that dev state) but I would think the agent channel itself might go to NOT IN USE. Let us know what you find. This might be worth opening a bug on Mantis based on what you come up with as I would think if you placed a queue caller on hold you wouldn't then want to receive additional calls in from queue. Hi, I'm using Asterisk in a Call Center.I put this patch http://bugs.digium.com/view.php?id=5577because if I have 2 calls and 2 free agents, I need that every call ring in differents agent a the same time. (Different from RINGALL) If I put only this patch http://bugs.digium.com/file_download.php?file_id=8151type=bugwith 'autofill=yes' confiured in queue.conf It work well but change the assignament order. If I put this patch http://bugs.digium.com/file_download.php?file_id=10042type=bug I have problems because the order is ok but while are some calls waiting, there are free agents without ring...Any ideas?I´m using asterisk 1.2.10. ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- asterisk-users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users
