[asterisk-users] Authentication Command
Anyone else experiencing a slow authentication command. I noticed this command takes about 1.5 - 2 seconds of silence before it asked for password, then another 2 sec of silence before it moves froward after that. What version of Asterisk are you running? The 2 seconds of silence before it moves forward is probably because you haven't set digittimeout and or you are not hitting # when you finish entering your password. What does your dialplan look like that is calling the authenticate command. Please give more information.
