Re: [asterisk-users] Voicemail Error

[asterisk-users] Voicemail Error

[Asterisk-Users] Voicemail error
I (sometimes) get this error message: WARNING[17191]: app_voicemail.c:2411 leave_voicemail: No entry in voicemail config file for 'irstname.lastname' I can see the valueof the argument is "firstname.lastname" when this line executes in the std-exten macro: exten = s-NOANSWER,1,Voicemail(u${ARG1}) ; If unavailable... But the error message drops the first character. It doesn't happen for every extension, just some of them. I haven't figured out what distinguishes those that cause the error; tried it with ids containing periods and ones without, and that doesn't seem to be it. If I login as one of the affected users and try to run VoiceMailMain, I get this: WARNING[17538]: app_voicemail.c:5006 vm_authenticate: Unable to read password User "stephany.toman" exhibits this behavior, while "nakya.west" does not. Both are defined exactly that way in sip.conf, with mailbox= their usernames, and entries in voicemail.conf to match. Any clues would be greatly appreciated. ___ --Bandwidth and Colocation provided by Easynews.com -- Asterisk-Users mailing list To UNSUBSCRIBE or update options visit: http://lists.digium.com/mailman/listinfo/asterisk-users

[Asterisk-Users] Voicemail error message
I've been working on my voicemail server and recently starting getting this message. Other than change the server name itself I've been making modifications to the extensions.conf file but everything still functions properly. Any idea what this is? I've looked at the app_queue.c file but I didn't get anything out of it. -- Playing 'vm-isunavail' (language 'en') -- Playing 'vm-intro' (language 'en') -- Playing 'beep' (language 'en') -- Recording the message -- x=0, open writing: /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/xx/INBOX/msg format: wav49, 0x87548c0 -- x=1, open writing: /var/spool/asterisk/voicemail/default/xx/INBOX/msg format: wav, 0x8755088 -- User ended message by pressing # -- Playing 'auth-thankyou' (language 'en') Dec 15 09:59:04 WARNING[2509]: app_queue.c:340 changethread: Can't change device with no technology!
