[asterisk-users] zap sending fax congested
hello all,
i try to send a fax over a zap channel but it is not working i always
get congested but receiving fax over the channel is working.
here are my configs:

Maybe someone can suggest me what software to use? You want to go to the spandsp site and read all the challenges. We are starting to see T.38 like in the grandstream ATAs. But T.38 can be as problematic as T.30 over RTP. If you are on a local LAN SIP to Asterisk out works (supposedly), but Asterisk to SIP is iffy; a timing problem. Hi,My situation is : I need to send fax from sip device attached fax over zap channel. Using G711, fax send ok, but is it posible to use t.38 protocol. [Asterisk-Users] Zap with fax outbound signature
Hi, I have a fax connected to a zap interface. When I dial out however asterisk says: -- Executing Dial(Zap/1-1, Zap/g1/25) in new stack -- Requested transfer capability: 0x00 - SPEECH And obviously the remote fax will not pick up as the call is not signalled as fax but speech. If I set the remote machine to pickup for any call it works well... but not many faxes are set this way. How can I solve this problem?
