RE: [Asterisk-Users] feature.conf in 1.2beta2

2005-11-03 Thread Anton Krall
Mmhh maybe I'm not making myself clear... What I meant was, seems either I
have something misconfigured or this function/app in features.conf is not
working since I left what the default samples from 1.2beta2 but when pushing
the key combination, nothing happens..

Any clues how to debug this?
How to tell if asterisk is still in the middle of the call? Since I figure
it needs to or it wouldn't listen for the tones..
And last, I guess asterisk is still in the middle since pressing #1 or #2
for blindxfer and atxfer do work..

Any ideas?

I haven't used this feature much myself, but I know there are quite a
few people who use it heavily... If you know that you have it configured

Did you add the w or W option to your Dial() application call? Look at

Got it working!

I needed to set the appropiate vars:

Set(DYNAMIC_FEATURES=hangup#play#testfeature)

Now when you press #9 you get:

[Nov 3 22:18:32] -- Feature Found: testfeature exten: testfeature
[Nov 3 22:18:32] -- Playing 'vm-goodbye' (language 'sp')
[Nov 3 22:18:34] -- Attempting native bridge of SIP/201-872b and
SIP/s201-156b
[Nov 3 22:18:34] -- Native bridge of SIP/201-872b and SIP/s201-156b was
unsuccessful

And the sound file is played back to the callee.

Nice work guys! This is a great feature!

-- Attempting native bridge of SIP/212-227a and SIP/201-dc6b

That happened when I tried pusshing *1 as defined on features.conf for what
Im trying to do...

This feature is something Ive been waiting for a long time now... :) can do
pretty nice things if I make it work ...

What makes you think this is an error?

You have to admit that pretty much anything being unsuccessful looks like it
might be a problem. It's all in the perception.

I've been thinking of a way to get across the idea that a native bridge was
unsuccessful in more friendly terms for a bit but nothing really concise
has come to mind. Some reason code might be handy... unable due to
differing codecs, unable due to necessity to listen to audio... I dunno how
to concisely convey that information.

 Guys.

Can somebody explain a bit further the use of this new feature in
 features.conf

 [applicationmap]

I cant find more info anywhere and I suspect this is what I have been
 looking for :)

This one's really great. It basically lets you assign any application to a
DTMF code. So for example you could play something to one of the parties or
run an agi etc.

I guess you'll probably have to use on of the flags in the dial command that
keeps Asterisk in the loop.
