Hi there!Somehow I am in favour of the private servers thing.Lets say first of all that I am not an expert about these things, so I might make some mistake. Please feel free to correct me.First of all, when I am playing and I check the number of players, I see that there are maybe 15 in the same map than me and 60 in other areas. That means that, in fact, I am playing with those 15. Maybe I will interact with some of those 60, but mainly not.If I change map and I interacted with other 15 players, still there would be 30 that I didnt share anything with.Further more, for example I never communicated with the Turkish people, just because I dont speak Turkish, so I am not really interacting with them. It could be that they help me killing zombies in the same map, but we are not communicating.There are some other games, like Sounds RTS, which allow you to create your own server or your own matches, to which people can join. There&
 #039;s a feature in the game menu, that allows you to see the active servers and to connect to them. Maybe that could be a way to do it.If the one that hosts the match, or the server, can administrate the players,soo maybe I organise a match, for 8 people, and I give them the full equipment, put them in level 80, and lets go, or just let them start by default with level 1, or maybe there could be a way for them to import their own files. At that point, the local storing of your own character would maybe make things easier.The main issue would be that the admin of the server can kick the annoying players, if there is any.There are ways of keeping the community together, we can create a Swamp Forum somewhere, share servers, organise championships, turnaments, meetings online for special matches or missions, tutorials and recordings, etc.Even more, last but not least, we could (if Aprone allows), set the game on a server with some security admi

Lol about the whoops thing, I was walking at school the other day and someone bumped into me and went woop woop, I was basically half asleep otherwise I probably wouldve responded with something like the sound effects are really helping, keep that up!:. I regularly go to airports and fly, and its hilarius how pretty frequently one of the assistants who escort us to the planes thinks I need a wheelchair, I mean come on, were blind, apparently blindness affects the legs or something? I live basically out in the middle of nowhere so dont do much walking, but I think in spite of that I just generally suck at navigation, street crossings, sidewalks etc, though parts of this might be do to my hearing loss. Lol wanderer, something I have been known to say to people is Its my eyeballs that dont work, my legs are fine! Lack of hearing could be a problem in street crossings there is no denying that, but I suspect it would just require more practice, same with the veering off. Actually, I wonder if someone could create an iphone gyroscope game which depended upon your ability to fase a given direction, not by audio,but by being told, then having to physically stand with the iphone in front of you and spin around. Say for instance something like that old Shelshock game, where you start at zero degrees north and need to fire a missile at an enimy target by turning your body to the correct amount, and got points on your accuracy, (no audio markers to help, just your physical movement), then after each shot the compass got reset so the way you were currently facing was zero north. That could be a great aide in practicing facing the right dir
 ection, and be quite tricky too if you added things like lots of different angles, need to do it quickly or take a number of shots in succession etc. Im not sure how precise the iphone gyroscope is, (maybe itd need aprones see monkey), but itd be a good way of using a game for something practically useful in reality,  and could also be fun depending upon the plot, sfx etc.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=152815#p152815

Yesterday, i tried for more than 10 minutes. I tried and tried to connect, but I never got in. I tried to connect maybe 20 times each minut and then I gave up.The server has never been full for so long. I wander if its some of the trouble makers who are blocking the server for us? There are many people who just stay right outside the safe zone and clicking their weapons all the time, which is bluddy annoying and just filling up the space for others who wanna play. Maybe a feature which says kick those people who havent moved for 10 minutes should be added? I think that would be fair. People who just sits there in the safe zone chatting could move a few steps each minute or so, and if they got kicked, they could just join again. what do you think? I know more features arent going

That card thing definitely sounds demeaning. Its bad enough when a sighted person whos never had experience with the blind suggests something like that, but an OM instructor? It reminded me of a two-day Greyhound trip I took two summers ago to visit a prospective significant other. For the first day or so of said trip I had the misfortune to sit next to an elderly lady who, apart from nagging the driver about every little thing at every turn, kept telling me I ought to make a big sign that says Im blind and wear it around my neck so people would help me from bus to bus. And thats why I would like to bring back the option that Haramir mentioned some days ago.The guards of the safe zone should be simple allies, who could be killed by zombies.Somebody said that then you could not keep online while answering an e-mail, or something like this.Well the idea is not that the safe zone is not safe at all, the fact that there is a guard guarantees some protection, but being 100% honest, yeah, if you are playing Swamp and decide to write an e-mail, do it on your own risk. While youre not looking, a hord of zombies can invade the place, but thats your fault for leaving your character alone.In normal conditions, all you have to do is to disconnect, write your e-mail and come back online. Well regarding poles, they do seem a little tempramental but they will work so long as you fill in the information correctly. which version of Adobe reader are you using? there are actually two different ones to open pdfs, an accessible one and an inaccessible one, yet adobe themselves dont make this absolutely clear on their website. See This page for details. And for an amusing detail, their guide on how to access pdfs is actually a pdf! of course it still depends upon how the pdfs have been formatted, and some are known to bugger things up. Luckily, recent versions of supernova read the scroll box and percent bars automatically when doing convertions, so I no longer feel as if my computer has crashed whenever I try to access a pdf or save one as text, though I very much remember the times when I did. If someone goes to a specialist school or is disabled and goes to a day center, the local authority does provide a bus service, but only to those institutions. Chuckles, hiring a second guy to handle security could possibly work in theory, but it has some major flaws that would stop it from working I think. Any person I found would have to know a lot, and I mean a lot, about security and how to change code to keep pace with ever changing conditions. I cant think of a way to say this without sounding full of myself, but I havent run in to anyone that seems to know enough about it. Anyone who does know that much about the subject would be holding that information back, just as I do, for fear of leaking clues to how they approach it. About 99% of the people who have come to me on Skype/email to tell me their grand security plan, are describing things that have been in Swamp for almost the entire 2 years. If the hackers techniques have already developed beyond what the person knows how to defend against, then they would be of no use to Swamp as a helper.The second big problem would be payment.
  For the most part, anyone who knows enough about what they are doing is going to require money, especially since they are signing on to an un-ending task. If someone had to come in, work for a week, and then be done, it is possible to find some generous person to do that for free. This poor individual would be stepping into my role, where they had to monitor everything and rewrite security code on a very regular basis to stay ahead. Sane people dont work for free forever.  Even if the community wanted to pool money together to pay, it wouldnt be worth it in my opinion. To me it doesnt seem like Swamp would be worth the money people would be forking over. We also have to remember that at any time, any money/donations will be handled by about 1 or 2% of the players, meaning the host to maintain this security guy wo
 uld be expensive for them.Lastly there is the trust issue. No part of the games code could be withheld from the security guy. Even if I said to myself, he doesnt need to access this section of code ever, I cant say that for sure. Different hacks have affected really weird parts of the code in the past, and the guy simply could not do his job unless he had free reign. So where do you get someone that you can trust to basically give total ownership of Swamp to? Gaita, I dont know if Im able. I had my save at a time where you could coppy old bk2 saves, not quite sure if itll work on your side. And there are some things about the game that I dont like. For example, and this is for bk2 as well, that you cant strike with the back of your sword any more, bk1 exclusive unfortunately. And we dont have the bronze knife any more. We have the slower leather puncher in its place. And, we cant level spead any more. But those are just miner things. Gaita, I dont know if Im able. I had my save at a time where you could coppy old bk2 saves, not quite sure if itll work on your side. And there are some things about the game that I dont like.
