Locked Out of My House

Ok, so maybe that was a bit, overdramatic, but goodness knows it sure as hell feels like that to me, and since Im the one this is happening to, Ive the right to feel that way, right? Of course eim right! When have you, reader, reading this post, ever heard me say something that was wrong? Can you remember such a time right off the top of your head? Of course you cant, because im right as right can be, which is the way I usually am, right? Right.With all of that rightness and truth out of the way, what am I ranting about, you ask? I purchased a machine running windows 8 some four months ago and still have the same issue which feels like unnecessary security that taunts me every single time I want to do anything specifically important, like transferring a DLL file to system32, or making a change to the program files directory. Access denied, continue with administrative rights, bla bla bla. Ta
 king ownership of any of these places seems impossible, since trying do to so ends up with the PC firing errors at me on that very subject. Killing user account control does absolutely nothing to soften the blows other than minimizing the amount of dialogue windows Im going to encounter along the way, sort of like opening another box to find another box to find another box to find that the final box which might or might not contain another box is a box I cannot open because the main box doesnt want me to open it! WHAAAT? Who built this crazy thing anyway, and what sort of design is it that requires you bang your shin against 1000 items and smash your fingers into another 1200 just to get your sticky hands on a particular item? I mean, sure, I get it, keep hackers out, avoid malicious software, dont mess with personal stuff, but when the guards at y

To me, it is not the setting or theme of the game that really need changing. You can make a fantasy real time game with stats or a game about the crusades or a robot fighting game or whatever, but basically its how! it is designed that matters. One of the most serious problems with so many audio games is that theyre based entirely on reactive gameplay. You here a sound, you react and hit it quickly. You dont need to judge your position or mechanics or what you do, you just hit. This is true of top down games like night of parasite, many side scrollers and of course arcade games. it doesnt matter if you have a complex stats system, a great story, lots of sounds, if that basic element of actually requiring the player to perceive the games elements and mechanics and judge their interactions isnt there, it doesnt matter what your game is about itll still end up feeling just like boppit, since essentially that would be all y
 oud be playing. The two genres that have gone against this most extremely are stratogy games and audio fps. its possible a side scroller could! if it included attack speeds, more complex movements than just up and down etc, its also possible it could exist in a top down game, (though Ive yet to see one do it). Disabling UAC in WIndows 8 can be done... in a few ways. Theres the one you probably did by just setting the slider to 0, which as youve seen doesnt disable it completely. You can also apply a registry hack which will disable it, but also will make metro apps not run (this doesnt include the start screen or narrator). Yes, but remember its 1 on 1. You can host a galactica server and have as menny people connect as you want though its not at all complete. I dont tend to use it myself considering its exactly why multiplayer is a bit under tested. Most of the games that I finish are ones where I started to try a concept, rather than ones I wanted to make for content. DB:GU built off a system I threw together one day because I was extremely tired of not having either things I could play or things I could get myself to work on (this is why the space system is so weird). The JFIM Adventure was the easiest 3D adventure I could throw together to try that system (I just took out the vertical aspect and turned gravity on its side and used the same concept for Mario). Sengoku Jidai, the Sword game, etc--most of my games are of this nature.The ones I actually want to make, but cant because my brain is a horrible self-contradicting lizard-turd, are generally quite straightforward in terms of how they should be designed, but much more tedious to actually code. Then theres the part where I dont have all the sounds and voices and so forth, and after a few layers of not the start of the FiniteStateFighter system, 
 were pretty much bogged down in great claims with little substance. So, yeah, I want my next game to be an epic full 2D platformer/adventure/RPG, but itll probably be something rather small, silly, and with one querk that confuses the fish out of everyone.(The story behind the engine seen in DB:GU involves me scooping up all the voices I had lying around and making fighters for them, then building whatever games I could manage where content built up enough. There are like 4 other games using that engine in slightly different ways that I havent made available, and some incomplete ones--I tried redesigning DLE to use that engine at one point, for example. ... Now i kinda want to go find the one where I was first testing the sidescroller aspect. As I recall, that involved Kairin fighting a bunch of Imps, where flying kicks was almost a necessity because there we

I suppose they might if you cranked up the volume ridiculously, but that is true of most headphones to some extent, (heck if I tried with my really good over ear ones Id end up blowing my mind). Thats the problem. A lot of people who run factions and companies nowadays lose reputation and efficiency points respectively for either or, if you or any member stays gone for more than a 24hour timeframe.its not as simple as just logging in either; you have to train, do crimes, do jail busts, or look for items in the city dump. Anything short of that doesnt keep up your efficiency or reputation, as you are not actually doing any sort of labor. This is why the captcha nonsense last year was so annoying, since it resulted in my losing a good paying job and a lot of time doing crimes that could have propelled me to greater heights had I been able to play properly. There was a period of about three months where I just flat out didnt even bother trying because the captcha audio was so horrible, and thats three months of money making possibilities lost, which is everything in a crime game.if you have a smartphon

You actually dont have to have your sword at level 4 to be able to enter the Forest of Winds. Mines at level three and I was able to enter. It may be a better idea to have it at level four but you can enter at level three. That all depends on what you want to do. Leveling can be done quite simply by doing anything on torn city, including searching the dump. Making money is a whole different experience from leveling, and getting a 45nerve bar for crimes sake is a whole other topic within itself. if theres enough demand for it Ill gladly provide some of my tips and tricks on a separate page, perhaps in the articles room?I am a level 27 player now with a metworth of something like 300million. In truth, your levels dont make much of a difference to you if youre not planning on PVP, at which point youll probably want to level for the sake of having just a bit of extra life. if your stats are high enough though, you wont even care.Theres no short way to success. Ive seen first hand what happens to someone who makes a billion dollars in the span of 7 days and buys themselves a private island, only

Hi all,Well, getting frsutrated with 11-3, where you have to guide Carla and avoid the bombs. Knowing that there are trigger points is a great help... but what makes this annoying is that certain sounds are getting mixed up. it seems the longer the stage goes on, the more screwed up the sounds get. Carlas gun loading sound never works in that stage, and sometimes is replaced by another sound, such as the footstep of a spirit tree. Ive already had falling bolders that were totally silent until they hit me, and the gigantic bees sometimes sound like the sound the bear makes when he is hit. Im pretty certain Ukio si good enough that he wouldnt just do this by accident... but then again, why would he do it on purpose? i hope he at least lets us know if its a real bug or if hes really being evil.In any case, Im really close to getting through that hellhole... Ive been told the sound oddities are only with that stage.URL

Hi.Firstly Id like to correct you there in reguards to heavy laptops.While the older windows laptops of yesteryear were bulky I still have an xp gaming laptop I use any serious work that needs a grunty processer sertainly for secure traveling I will do on my touch hybrid mini i5 server notebook.I can assure that at least with the toshiba I have it is slim and light waight.Grainted there are fewer ports but thats ok.As for your problem I can see why they moved away from much that I detest it hard knobs for volume and wireless switches to keyboard commands though I loath this.anyway the switch is either on the front or just under the front or on the side of the laptop close to the front or middle usually the left for most things could be right basically the side the cdrom is not is where it should be.They are easy to knock.right now you can go and if you search for and install the intel driver updater and install that you should 
 be able to update it. most of the units I have used in xp days use intel cards my 7 systems are all via intel and realtech with my 7 servertop being exclusively realtech ati and intel run.I wouldnt stop using xp, however I would not use it for serious work anymore.I have it for gaming and my home internet use but to be honest any serious work will be on my win7 system which I will be able to migrate to 8.0 if I want and 8.1 also if I want it.Its easy to knock things though.the newer laptops are thinner and are good for what they are.if you have to its possibal to run win7 on a dulecore core2 with 2gb ram as my uncle does it.However it does lag sometimes.If you cant afford a new laptop or the upgrade to 7 or higher your laptop did probably have a disk for vista I know vista may still have a life.not sure.I sertainly will not be lugging round this heavy and aged slightly broke xp laptop to anything much though I am hone

This is what I tried to wrote here for Yukio. 11 is bugged with wrong sounds in not correct ocassions. Definitely its a bug.Also, flying across the turbulences is more panfull that i thought. 18.2 is so so so frustrating. Why we arent able to hear these turbulences and only alarms? This is... really dissapointing.Yukio, please, do something with it. Hi.Ok, after finding the model of the computer I found out I was indeed hitting some kind of button above the f5 key. Im looking forward to seeing the pve server up myself Mike, I was also pleased with how quickly they fixed the star map since now it has names of stars and proper links to navigate not just the unlabeled graphics. As another interesting point Ive been trying one of the developers other games, astro galaxy a more realistic space exploration game where you start out from earth and fly into deep space to explore different stars and planets and bring back resources. Sadly I got utterly stuck with navigating inter stellar jumps, (and navigating even planets in a system is a pain since you need to basically just click and hope). but well see whats done abut that. Yes, click on city, then dump. All of the items you find are items you can sell if you find that they are useless to you, as no item is truly useless. Some people just like collecting novelty plushies, others love their drugs. Everyone likes a little bit of everything in between. Get yourself a Bazaar as soon as you can and start selling those items in mass quantities. if you have about a thousand sollars to spare you can try buying a hundred bottles of beer from Bits and Bobs shop also located in the city. an individual bottle costs 10 dollars as of this writing, but people like being able to purchase them in bulks and cant quite do that with the shop, so you can actually get away with selling them for 600. Buy a hundred a day, sell them at the end of the month and get back a ton of cash. Again, this is only truly useful advice if you have a Bazaar. Seal, avoiding turbulance is not guesswork if you know what youre doing. Just keep checking your altitude and avoiding them the same way you did in the earlier stages. If I remember right, 18-2 is mostly walls until the very end. Then its alternating up and down until you start getting multiple turbulances at once that are really close together. Its the same thing, you just have to wait until you hear the obstacle clear sound before moving. It seems hard at first but its not bad. Just ignore the alarm, stay on the bottom, wait till you hear the clear sound and quickly go up before you crash. No guesswork involved. Im not too keen on the electronic devices thing. People were debatingthe possibility of gide robots over on ZOne BBS and about the only thing that came into my head was a rather amusing scene of a guy going into, lets say a convenience store, with his guide robot. Unfortunately electronics malfunction all the time and not every instance is due to viruses or malware. So the scenario that popped into my head involved a y goig into the store only to have his guide robot, which for some reason resembled R2D2 from Star Wars, both in physical appearance and behavior, suddenly experience a malfuction that basically caused it to go haywire, zooming all over the store, crashing into shelves and knocking their contents to the floor before finally hitting a wall and exploding, complete with R2D2s trademark scream. Another scenario involved a more C3PO-like robot complete with a prissy English voice. This one actually made me laugh, becauseI coul just see it arguing with its
  handler at the start of every outing. Sir, is it really wise for you to go to that place? Of course a robot or other device thats supposed to go out and about with you would have to run on some kind of battery, and that would necessitate making sure it was charged every single time you had to go out.
