Development on the new game is coming along nicely. It will be a while before it is ready, but each day Ive been able to put in a few hours of coding. Exploration will be a really cool part of the game, and Ill mention this part because I can relate it to Swamp, sort of. Map 1 in Swamp is 425 by 275 tiles, making it a total area of 116875 tiles in size. Now of course not all of those tiles are usable tiles, meaning you as a player cannot actually use that space. Some of them are in the deep parts of Brush creek, some of the tiles are solid pieces of building in the abandoned buildings, and I think the Kai mart and the Factory both have some small areas that are blocked in. So out of those 116875 total tiles, the vast majority are usable. To explore map 1 and walk around in every spot would take a very long time. I wish I knew how long it takes to walk from the western border to the eastern border in a straight
  line, LOL! Maybe someone will be kind enough to time it and share what they come up with.I bring this up because the new game has a much larger world to explore. Unless I have to shrink it for some unforeseen technical reason, the map will be a total of 50 billion tiles in size. That is more than 427800 times larger than map 1 of Swamp. To cross from one side of this map to the other, it would be more than running 235 times back and forth on Swamps map 1. Now not all of these tiles will be usable, but just like in Swamp, most will be. Im very excited by the idea of giving this huge persistent world to the community to play in. Totaly agree Tom. I guess its that whole nerdy asspect of myself lol. The machine i aquired is a fairly but not to old Dell OptiPlex. It came with windows Xp pro and 2 gigs of ram. I swear i think someone overclocked the pintium 4 processor in there because windows says its running at 3.8 GHZ, which i was not expecting. Anyway, i love the design, as it is a small form factor machine, yet the parts are all full sized desktop components. So, ill start by upgrading the memory to about 4 gigs, as that is the max the proprietary Dell board will support. Ill throw in a Crutial SSD for speed, and i bet ill have a pretty modern feeling and snappy system. I have one simple idea. After level 5 it says probably that you win but it exit immediatelly, so mostly nvda will say the name of folder or desktop. Fox, It says during the ep that Roberts got the tats at the Jail, but I really like your theory there. Really interesting about the van, as Im not even sure of that wouldve been possible from the early zombies, as it was described as more of something bigger. In regards of Inglewood, honestly Im not really surprised that what ever was there has lifted, since it has been almost a year since it all started. Crazy that the little one attacked the normal, but I think it was kind of a decoy. The zombies know they were going to go back to the truck, so they made Vick and Tanya think they could deal with it, then, bam! 7 jumps out and eats the normal. Good chance that Vick and most likely Tanya survive this ordeal, as the narration is from Vicks journal. Just a correction here.What the launcher actually does is this. While its humming, it slowly descends toward the ground. It is not invulnerable while its humming, its just extremely hard to hit. I managed to hit it a couple times when I was trying to figure out the strategy for it by jumping and using timing, and you can also hit later launchers while theyre flying back up with the sky machine gun, but not when theyre flying across the stage at height 10 or so I dont think. Anyway, when it touches the ground, then it charges up, spawns an enemy or two, then sits there for a while, making this the ideal damage time. Then it slowly rises back into the air, and once it reaches a certain height it starts flying back and forth across the stage until it decides to land again. Thats one thing I love about this game. Some bosses might seem simplistic on the surface, but if you really take time to watch them, theres actually a l
 ot more going on than youd think.Youll know youre doing damage to the launcher because it will make a kind of shorting out sound. I recommend having at least 50 attack. WhenI first start a playthrough, I spend my first 20 levels or so just pumping up attack and defense, with a few going towards tech and stamina.
