The issue with JAWS is a problem with the dynamic library itself. Because of the way JAWS's speech interrupt features work, if more than one string of text is sent through the API library, JAWS will mostly ignore the others. If a delay is put in place, it will mostly depend on the user's speech rate. Power point works fine with my NVDA.  It doesn't have a few of the nicer features of Jaws yet, but I was able to make a 13 slide presentation easily enough in about half an hour, and I've been reading them just fine for over a year.  I've even had some that NVDA can manage fine but that give jaws trouble--I don't have that one anymore, though.  It can't tell you when you've gone off the bottom, yet; I intend to open a ticket, or comment on one if it's already open, as that would be nice.  My stance on animations is: everything I've ever taken that talks about presentation making says that they're not that great and usually are added to cover up an otherwise lackluster presentation, you're never going to get it looking exceptional without sighted assistance, and it's just generally better to talk more than rely on your slides anyway (this isn't just my opinion, it's also the opinion of my public sp
 eaking class).The way it works is as follows.  I don't have it open, so I apologize for any inaccuracies in this.  F6 moves you between the list of slides and the current slide, and page up and page down flip to the next or previous from anywhere.  Tab moves you between objects.  To start editing text, you just press enter, and--as I recall--escape to get back to the bit that lets you move between objects.  When you add a new slide, it's already set up by default for a slide title and a slide body, and after that it works pretty much the same as word--there are options for adding lists and outlines, and all that jazz.  Filling out slide titles will change the name in the list.  As a blind person, unless you've got enough vision left or are working on a team, you don't care about most of the other features in most common cases, or at least every case I've ever had to use it in.  if you are on a team, save yourself

I much prefer column view over the other two views.The keystroke to add items to the doc is not undocumented. If you have VoiceOver set to speak access keys after menu items (I don't remember how I got mine to do it,) the "add to doc" menu item says command+shift+t after reading said option. Just wait, folks! Downgrade if you want to. Apple was pushed to go free with this version? Interesting. Lion and Mountain Lion were both only $30 to upgrade. Not too shabby, in my opinion, considering a copy of Windows 7 from Amazon is still $128/$89 f
 or Home Premium and $179/$99 for Professional. I included the sale price along with Amazon's price to illistrate just how awesome Amazon is because you save money! Haha. I am a prime member and will continue to be for as long as Amazon sticks to its level of customer support and prime features stay the same. I've returned a couple things to them and got my money back in a timely manner and I didn't have to hastle them for it! With Jaws, Microsoft Powerpoint works quite nicely. I feel that Freedom Scientific did a nice job making Powerpoint accessible. With jaws, you can creat and edit different slides, move images and text boxes around a slide with ease, add sound effects and recorded narration, and plenty other neat things easily. From what I can tell, Powerpoint doesn't seem to be accessible at all with NVDA. NVDA scripts for Powerpoint would be nice. Or, powerpoint support incoorperated directly into NVDA. To me, the best solution for this problem sounds like creating a folder containing all of your journal documents on one of your computers, and sharing the folder on a network that can be viewed by any device connected to your router. You wouldn't have to worry about someone else's device connected to your router having access to the folder. All you would have to do is password protect it. This would make the folder accessible to anyone with access to your router who knows the password to the folder of course. About your IOS device, I'm not sure if there's an app for being able to view shared folders on a network, but you never know... Yes, I too use JAWS and notice this bug as well. It doesn't really impact game play, but is slightly annoying.Also, when you land on the airport, it says, "Plane gives free flight!" Is this just a random event or does it actually help you in the game somehow? It doesn't seem to. Hello all. As the topic subject says. Let me explain in detail a bit.So I've finally gotten around to dealing with how I will keep track of a journal of sorts. I settled on a document for now. I tried lots of things, apps on the iOS store, a encrypted partition with true crypt, etc. My question/desire: what would you recommend me to use to transfer and make changes to this document and be able to apply the changes by maybe copying the document, and be able to see it with multiple devices? I currently use the most: desktop running windows xp don't really care if that sees it or not.Laptop running windows 7 pro 64 bit this would be the primary device.Braille sense U2 running windows mobile 6 I believe.iOS device running iOS 6.Sure, there's dropbox, but I really don't want to deal with the man in the middle. The dropbox servers that is.I could always use the old style method copying the file over to a flash drive, but what if I 
 was in a hurry and accidentally forgot to make a copy of the latest changes?I could always email it to myself but that is quite obviously not! a good idea as that poses so many security risks. But not only that, what if I emailed myself the wrong one?I've heard of ever note, could one make a private account just like with twitter?If so, that could be my solution. One thing, I noticed that sometimes when it's obvious a player is going to try a robbery, Jaws skips over the info about where the player landed, and all you get is, "Does playername think playername will be successful?" @SLJI checked out your blog. I wonder if Google translate does better with some languages than others, because it sure did not do well with Danish! I wonder if you can run a whole web site through Google translate such as your blog? It's of course all in Danish and while it's very interesting to listen to, of course I can't understand any of it. I have no gift or facination with other languages besides English. I took Spanish for two years in high school. We received extensive lessons on how to speak it correctly as well as write it correctly...in Braille, none-the-less! I struggled with it. For any program, game or otherwise, that will not run under Windows 7 or 8, here is what you must do.1. Locate the .exe file you wish to run.2. Hi all,I've been doing some research recently in atemps to find a piece of accessible software similar to microsoft power point. I've looked at multiple versions of power point itself, libra office, and express points from NCH software, all of which I find extremely difficult, if not impossible, to use. Have any of you found some software that you consider easily usable? The paid espeak is a ripoff especially when the espeak is free and open source! They are basically after your money. Next thing you know, there'll be an open mary for android with a monthly subscription. Nevertheless, you don't charge money for an open source synth when the synth was meant to be wait, espeak is licensed under gnu general public license, isn't it? I guess it's legal for a third party who mods the source to charge as much as they want for it. Hi all, sorry for the delay but here is alpha 4 of dm. This release fixes the bug in alpha 3 making mp mode unplayable, as well as adds a speech rate option in the options menu to adjust your sapi voices speed. Most of mission 3 is added now, I have just got to finish it off and then one more mission is pland before dm 2, which I have already started work on. Current known bugs are that for some odd reason, the sewer and space rooms do not set environment properly in mp mode, though they do work fine on single player mode. You actually don't have to play it through ITunes Dark, even music purchased through the ITunes store. I use WinAmp for that all the time. All you have to do is navigate to ITunes\ITunes Media\Music and there you go. You just find the artist and album you want and you're good to go. As for tts's, the stock android devices have only google ts, which is getting laggier every new version and it sounds retarded on the newest stock android devices. If you don't have the newest googl tts, be glad you don't and enjoy it for the time you still have it as the newest version is as laggy as ivona. Talking of ivona, the ivona itself is a good voice, but it takes a second to respond to gestures. I wouldn't recommend it. After all, it's been in beta for years, and still is. Possibly because ivona was bought by Amazon. Who knows. If you are willing to spend about 4 bucks on a good voice, there's the acapella voices which barely lag. Talking of roms, any stock android roms for samsung galaxy tab3 7.1? I'm tired of the samsung keyboard. Don't even get the espeak by Cameron Wong. It is a 0 inflection speech, can't change languages, and is very slow. The only good espeak compatible with 4.3 is the one from cantoneer technologies, but that's a skam as it costs 1 dollar and 60 cents. If you have bought this app, you have been stolen. They have no right to charge for espeak when the original espeak is free! You're better off using a speech synth like vocalizer for android, yes, that does exist for android, and is just as fast as espeak. Hi.I ordered accappela infovox voices, which sound really good to me now that there updated.They arrived on a memory stick and I plugged it in, but being inpatient and stupid, I clicked on the close button when the memory stick soft where stuff was being installed, onto the computer, there was a close button aand a more info button, it was at 25% stupid of me I know, but I thought it was dun since there was a close button.now when I run the exe program, it won't install cause of a missing DLL.Is there anything I can do? Sorry to say, but you're wrong.1: Voiceover turns down the volume of all system sounds when speaking, just like the iPhone.2: VO command spacebar as mentioned above. Really handy on websites if you need to place the mouse or cursor on any link or menu to hold the mouse over something to expand a menu.3: New voices in lots of languages. Both a good and a bad thing.4: Works more nicely with messages center, notifications etc.5: calendar improvements.6: One nice improvement in Mail where Voiceover announce messages in an other way. One big drawback which is getting focus on attachments. hi all.I'm with the Mavericks to run on my imac, but is actually the voice over is full of bugs. apple acessibility team seems to have lost capacity and responsibility to take cumpromise that made to acessibility.apple team, works very slow, and even when they do, they do wrong.users vo, have to wait 2 or 3 years for updates, this only happens when Apple lunch a new sistem.and in the case of mavericks was a disaster.bugs, more bugs and nothing to new features.even the native OSX apps such as:ibooks, and others, the team put water on the beach of mavericks.voice over nearly drowned swallowing water.apple team, what is wrong with you ...come on, stop sleeping in the spotlight .apple team seems  not hear any more  when users report bugs Apple now announced a new update for 3 areas.mail, graffics, and voice over.I no longer really believe in this team and I think even though th

Hi.[[wow]], I haven't seen those issues in Mavericks yet.You're mentioning an undocumented shortcut on the Dock. Well, how can you expect that Apple wil keep this? Sorry to say, but how often are you adding things to the Dock? What's the issue on pressing VO shift m on the Dock item and choose keep on Dock, just like the sighted users does?I haven't seen the issue you're mentioning in Finder, and neither this issue when reading webpages. I do agree that the latest Safari is very, very bad, and it even makes some websites totally unusable. But I'll not go that far to say that people should wait if they wanna buy a Mac.You're saying you're running a fresh copy of Mavericks. Have you turned off all running crab in the dashboard? Did you know that having lots of appps in your Dock also use up your machines ram as well? Do you remember to close all Finder windows you're not using? And lastly, how many gb of ram do you

Hi.Wel, I'll highly recommend you to get used to 8 dot Braille, but if you really wanna turn this off, you can do it in the following way:1: Open up the Jaws menu and open the settings center.2: Make sure in the combobox that you're changing the settings for all applications, and not for just the current application you're in.3: Scroll down to the Braille settings, open up Generel, and there you can turn off view text in 8 dot Braille.then, I don't know if the cursor changes or not, but you can also turn the cursor off, which I'll not recommend you to do because that'll make text editing impossible. let me know if you have more questions, and I'll do my best to answer.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=156564#p156564

use your grappler to grapple back to the top at a safe height to drop down on. Check your coordinates constantly, and when you reah like 440 or so fire the grappler and you will probably be halte at about 409 or so.
