I would certainly like to see this, however bare in mind the BBc has already done a good few of these from the 60s. Since there was the purge of the bbc film archives in 1972 that lost many of the classic episodes on film, but both scripts and soundtracks still exist, the Bbc have released a good few as what are billed as what are effectively audio described soundtracks. Many of these were on tape, but Im pretty sure with the revival a lot are on cd these days too, although with the Bf stuff Ive not looked into acquiring these as much and unfortunately some of the old tape versions I had whilst growing up are no longer functional. Ive heard power of the Daleks, Tomb of the cibermen, Fury from the deep, Evil of the Daleks and the Macra terror, and Ive also seen The Highlanders, the smugglers and the faceless ones.Some of them even got later encarnations of the doctor, or the Doctors notable assistants to narrate. Tom baker does Power of th
 e Daleks which is awsome, having the 4th doctor recall his experiences as the 2nd doctor while the audio of those experiences plays. john Pertwee even did Tomb of the Cybermen, (recorded in the early 90s before his death), though he merely narrated, he didnt do an in character thing the way Baker did.Regarding novelizations, well while it is true that every single episode of classic who has recieved a novelization, there are only audio books of some of them, (often read by Doctor who regulars). Also, some of the audio books are annoyingly abridged, though some equally are not. Ive heard great unabridged audio book versions of Doctor who and the silurians, and Robot (novelized as Doctor who and the giant robot). Unfortunately however when I tried to read the audio book version of Fronteer in space I found it was! abridged, as irritatingly enough are many of the audio book versions of original novels published more recently and often read by people like David 
 Tenant (abridging books should be made punishable by dismemberment!).Then just to confuse things even further, there are audio books which actually exist as read with sound effects type of dramas,  sort of like the companion chronicles from Big finish, though usually just with a narrator rather than a companion playing themselves in character. I heard william Russel do a great version of the novelization of Doctor who and the Daleks,  which actually improves on the tv story in a lot of interesting ways, albeit some of them not exactly canonical. For example, though ian is still a science teacher, he doesnt actually teach at the same school Barbara does, the one Susan attends. In the book, hes been made unemployed and is driving back from a job interview at the colehill school when he crashes his car into what later turns out to be the Tardis, where he meets Susan and Barbara whove walked back from Susans school, and the first Doctor (who
  doesnt take kindly to Ians presance). They then get into the Tardis and wind up going straight off to scaro skipping the cavemen. There is also the awsomeness of the Glass Dalek who is in charge on sCaro,  an idea they apparently had at the time but didnt have the money or resources to produce on screen which is a shame since it wouldve been awsome!So, would I be interested in audio described classic who? Most certainly, however Id recommend checking out what is and is not already available, since there seems no need to reinvent the wheel and if your going to put that kind of work in youd be better trying to cover new ground. Since as far as I know all the actual described soundtracks are from the era of the first two doctors, Perhaps you could start with the Third Doctors appearence in spearheard from space. This was the first Doctor who in colour in 1973, and it marks the appearence of both the master and the auto

So the strategy to defend the Short lady putting her behind another strongest warrior does not work. So I think if the attack hits only the first unit of the row, can make the game more interesting. Or put this feature pierce attack on specific characters. Well many audio books were abridged, but the text copies are fine. And the Dalek novel and Unearthly Child are a bit infamous for continuity glitches, as Daleks ignores Child so you get Barbara and ian meeting Susan and the Doctor twice.And the narrated episodes are because those were the ones lost in the purge, so the BBC doesnt really have a need to do quite as extensive work for the rest of the serials starting with 3.For the record, I have pdf copies of all the novelizations, I could upload them if anyoned like. I have linux, vinux4 on another hard drive. windows7 is on this one and to get linux on I just swap hard drives out and in. Awesome job bro. This game is great, and I wish I had more time to finish my mgs 1 walkthrough but do to studying and other commitment well its not easy  as for finding food, well it all depends on where you are. Hunting with the knife is the easiest thing for me, but the food gets rotten pretty quick, so Id suggest capturing animals alive. You will be able to do that later in the game by finding mouse traps which you can place anywhere you can remember, and you will hear a sound once an animal is captured. my vb6 games work fine in windows7. I had to tell them to go into the program files x86 folder other than that its fine. do 16bit dos games work? no. but for that a virtual windows xp solves the problem and they run with nvda in a command line. dont like the new ms-office? then just dont use it. go get ibm lotus symphony. then you have the menu bars back. dont like that? use chrome with chromevox and google drive or google docs. google docs works great with chromevox. also has a menu bar and you can check a box to use it in offline mode. so just because you use windows does not mean you are forced into using ms-office ms-this and ms-that.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=157871#p157871

Huh? Nearly all work perfectly fine, its pretty easy to find torrents of the classic episodes. For the record, daily motion has all but a few of the classic serials uploaded and can be watched for free.The audio reconstructions are tougher to find, but theres some on torrents. Somehow I find the possibility of MickeySoft actually renewing XP contracts, even in China, pretty remote. But I guess theres still hope, and given the hostility felt towards Windows 8 there might just be a concession on the cards. 37% global XP market share--so not, by any means, a small number. And not that much more the previous year. Worse, Windows 7 SP2 hasnt been released; that puts us on track for a 2015 target EOL, with what Im sure will be a predictable backlash from the wise and sensible. That part was my mistake.And on the second part, it was a suggestion to put a command that could hold the piercing attack. Its funny how some people here are not reading what the OP posted. He wants those specific set of things onto a device to maintain concentration on certain tasks. So, no, an Iphone or android wont work because theres a crapton of distractions in the way, braile displays off phones looks funny, so hed be using headphones, and word processing on those things are annoying as hell.   To be honest, I dont know of many braile notes that would fit your specific requirements. To be honest, the few braile notes Ive tried can lead to a proble with loading 75 interactive iction games to spend all day on. Hehe. Anyone noticing the zombies are now adopting a strategy of intercepting people from escape paths. I.E: those zombies that leaped out at the end of pt3, and that little one that leaped out out and grabbed that zombie from the truck before that. This shows more of these guys abilities to learn and find more effective ways to hunt down targets, though we knew they were smart anyway. Hi all,Thanks for all the responses - glad to see the enthusiasm in the community. I have to apologize - I probably picked a poor time to post this, as yesterday, today, and tomorrow have all ben/will be very busy. So I wont be getting back to any of you in person for a couple of days. If you havent posted yet and are interested, feel free. And please continue to email me if you have any questions or want to express your interest directly.A note no the multiple designers issue. I think youre all right...to an extent. Having a team of sound designers is a great idea, in the sense that those designers can split their time and resources working ona variety of sounds. However, I think its very important to have a single person who is the final authority on sound, and the creative liaison to the main development team. Basically, we could have seven different people working on sounds and giving them to me, to insert into the game... But we nee
 d one person who can engage directly with Ian and I on developing a shared vision for the games aesthetic, can communicate that aesthetic to any other volunteer designers, and can then make creative decisions concerning the sounds, without all of those decisions having to be funneled through me.So I guess what were looking for is a chief sound engineer. If that person chooses to reach out to other developers, create their own team, etc...thats fine; but I think there needs to be one person in charge of that element of development who can serve as a pipeline of communication between the development team and any other designers.Anyway, I look forward to checking out the samples of work youve all provided. in regards to food, You can capture stuff with mouse traps, try laying them near patches of long grass. Your pretty much guaranteed to catch a snake or two that way. Later on in the game, their are supply stores you can rade for food and ammo. You can also blow them up. The good thing there as it serves the purpose of screwing with your enemies. The supply buildings still spawn stuff for you. Much as I dislike reading with a synth Id would like those pdfs of the novels, heck since I know the doctors and the characters so well it wouldnt be quite as much of a strain particularly for those Ive heard the abridged audios of,  as I said abridging should be made illegal and those who practice it should be abridged them selves,  with a large and blunt axe!You can find some of the scripts to the missing episodes Hear on the scripts project Also, if your ever stuck for what is going on, check out the doctor who reference guide who have good and detailed synopses of every single tv episode, plus a good many audios, comics, novels etc, although that side of things hasnt been updated for about four years, (a shame since I used to like reading their synopses of big finish episodes, particularly before I got access t
 o them myself). There is also Thge tardis data core octor who wiki which is much more uptodate, but doesnt have as well written onr detailed synopses as the reference guide. Regarding sharing stuff, well as Ive said before while Ive no problem discussing it, migh I suggest people take any actual link posting off the forum. Too much work.Ive updated the Christmas event so that we have back the wrapping paper that was so popular last year. You can buy the compass in the regular version as well. In fact thats the only way you can use the path at all, is with the compass.As for more content, well, given the open source nature of the game, I doubt thatll be the case for long unless absolutely noone works on it. Theyve already created a ton of custom units to make the game worth playing. Im sure more are to come as well, since there is a new character type that I dont think has been used yet in any custom characters.Also guys, post some more suggestions if you have them. When I get time next, I hope to code in some more things (such as victory and defeat conditions). Season 1, actually. Datu fell through that covered hole in the roof and then got dragged to the arena. They also find the little fine car trap in around chapter 4-5, right before going to get Lady.
