seen u at evo on youtube and kudos for playing hard and representing for blind gamers all around the world. i follow the fg community heavily and always wanted to checkout a tourny but havent got use to playing with headphones yet seeing that i would need to use this in tournys. im currently playing doa5 on a daily so all blind gamers do check the game out. mk is stuffed on the shelves seeing how im bored with it, and injustice never really did pull me in but with these new patch i may pick it back up and give it another try. thankyou for having the courage and bravery to ask for such a requestbtw if u run into any of the devs at capcom tell them to put a freakin block button in there games. something like giving a player the choice of putting it in his controller setup, as a throw button lp/lk this could be similar to a block button possibly lp/mp/hp/lk/mk/hk=block. this will make there games much more playable in the tourny scene for blind players because holding ba

Hi Mike. No idea on shield E.B. K pricess, indeed I dont use them myself, but if youve got a customer that might help, also look at crafting some other useful things. I have been buying expanse exotic extractors and level 3 implants from Siddharth recently, and will need to upgrade some of my ships hull and armor specials soon, indeedif you craft there are lots of things to build plus of course people like me who need them . Ive dropped an E-mail to the poster, since obviously their survey went wonkey, hopefully itll result in something since the study sounded interesting.My only concerns about the project are firstly A, even if! this thing is developed the price tag will be utterly unreasonable, and B, how helpful itd eactually be. Yes, knowing a persons age and vague physical details at a distance would be useful, I use some of my remaining vision for this but its not always practical depending upon lighting conditions, distance and other factors, and that still only gives me general details of hight, clothing and hair colour.However the major problem with social interaction is visual communication and eye contact. I tend to find Im fine once talking to someone, but getting to that point is near impossible because people communicate, especially in bars and other noisey environments by making eye contact which is utterly unusable, aside fr
 om the fact that most sighted people avoid blind people anyway as a matter of course. this is why I tend to limit my own social interactions only to hobby groups where people are forced to interact with me according to the activity, and avoid bars, clubs, and even parties which all involve none verbal communication with a lot of strangers. Well Im at the point now where I think people deserve phasers pointing at them for being so dam irritating about this eye contact and avoidance thing . Interesting topic, and yes indeed its time for one. @jjgeek, of course the registration both here and on Applevis is accessible and doesnt have any of those bloody stupid captures, itd be pretty stupid if sites promoting access were inaccessible.@Mike, Ive heard of rotterdam, but never visited, though my mum was there for a physio therapy conference about ten years ago. I really ought to visit more of Europe. Ive been to Paris, several places in Spain, Belgium, Austria, and the French and Italian Alps, but not to The Netherlands, though my mum who has a liking for flowers rather fancies visiting.As to this year, well to me a lot has happened therefore its been if anything quite a slow year. In january I had the Viva (the spoken examination), of my phd thesis, which was quite scary as you imagine, indeed the head of department commented it was one of the most intensive Vivas he&
 #039;d ever seen. After that I took some time out to do a rather fun light opera production of Iolanthe which was fantastic, since I got to play a very snooty government minister and even take the micky out of Prime minister David Cameran. I particularly liked the fact that we got to insult the audience, its quite nice to tell someone in my best snooty lord voice oh who let you! in you pathetic poor person! and have them laugh, then of course I got to do major singing. AFter that I had to start on the corrections to my thesis which the Viva had suggested, which was rather a gruelling task, as it involved reading through the hole thing about six times, making miner changes, insertions and other additions, as well as checking out some references and authors that were suggested. While doing that I did get to visit London, and in that visit met up with John Banic and Cindy from 7-128 software who were over hear which was great. I a
 lso had an audition for a music conservatoire in June which didnt go as well, mostly because while I was good enough to get on a degree course since the stupid British Government have decided to punish anyone who has a degree by making you pay three times as much for a second one, I couldnt get on the post graduate course, though the stupid man doing the audition really ought to have realized as much, (I dont think he read my application form at all).I finally! finished my Phd corrections in early August, though Im still waiting to hear how they went, however immediately after I had music summer school and found that I needed to learn two separate tenor parts in the space of three days because one of the people who was expected didnt turn up! I did this, indeed I knew I could do this, but of course all that ontop of my phd left me pretty shattered. Since then Ive devoted my time fairly equally between si
 nging, reading, writing book reviews and playing Core exiles! indeed I looked around for an online game to play because I really fancied one, and eventually went back to Ce in November and havent regreted it yet, though I did take some time out to sing at a music festival and also pop down to London to do a days course on vocal performance. next year should be fun as I no longer have a thesis to write, which,  after close to six years is a major relief! Ive found an opera school which looks like a good place for me, so Ill be doing an audition for them (they dont count as a degree but the teaching is great and really I have enough qualifications anyway). If I get in itll mean major journies up and down on the train, but I dont mind that too much since Ive got my Iphone, for all itll be hard work. Still, that wont be until next September. Well since weve now had not only the day of the Doctor but Mat smiths regeneration in the rather stupidly named time of the Doctor, I thought pulling this one out of the topic vortex would be a good idea. Btw, if you havent seen both of those episodes be aware Ill be discussing them i in detail so beware here be spoilage! Firstly, day of the Doctor. while I originally wouldve liked to see Paul Mcgan in this with the 10th and 11th doctors, John hert was a reasonable choice at least, and I liked the dynamic that harked back to the 3 doctors, with having the two younger later encarnations bickering and their disagreement settled by the older previous one. I even liked the return of the Zigons, the reference to Captain Jack and the vortex manipulator, and the reappearence of The Brigadiers daughter. All this was okay up until the point that the Steven bloody
  stupid may he be exterminated utterly and blasted from all of time and space mophat decided to uterly, completely, absolutely and totally ruin the plot of the last 7 years of tv by having the time war retconed! Honestly! of all the deus ex that the moph has done this is the worst! It actually seems typical of his thinking. he wants the epic quality, the drama and the hope, but  woe betide that anything actually bad should happen! honestly when the 10th and 11th doctors appeared and reversed the time war I was about ready to spit bricks. So then we come to the time of the Doctor, after the stupidity of returning gallifrey (ignoring everything that happened in the end of time and the fact that the timelords were never really that nice to begin with), I thought Mat smith would spend a hole series searching for the planet but ooh look, it appears straight away, isnt that convenient. I never really saw the point 
 in the Church organization, neither did I really get why, when nobody else in universe know that gallifrey hadnt been destroyed did the daleks, the cybermen, the zigons, the sickorax, the sontarans and uncle tome cobly and all seem to know that Gallifrey was potentially returning and decide to blow the heck out of the small festive town in the same location. I was also not exactly certain where the doctor got his cyber buddy from. So, the doctor sits on trensalor for 300 years causing a stale mate until Clara happens to turn up with his Tardis and the Daleks happen to attack the church, then for no readily apparent reason he decides to regenerate and blow up the daleks in the process, even though this was supposedly his last regeneration thanks to the insertion of the war doctor and the 10th doctors failed regeneration in Journeys end (even though in Jurneys end the 10th doctor say
 s quite freely he didnt use a regeneration since he ciphoned the energy off into his severed hand).Again, this is just typical mophat. he wants all the epic nature and drama, but cant have anything bad or sad happen without undermining it. He wanted to do the last and final doctor regeneration,  and then just decides the doctor regenerates through magic! oh for the love of plot! Oh and Vanilla clara loves the doctor for some reason, even though theres not been any suggestion of this, though to be honest Clara is so undistinguished I cant honestlyt hink of anything about her anyway.Needless to say if I ever meet Mophat hell get a punch up the hooter! Now, on to the audio stories, otherwise known as the only decent doctor who still around.Im actually very impressed with the recent companion story the Beginning showing the doctor leaving Gallifrey (and missing that stupid moment of Photoshopped 
 clara with the first doctor thank god). I like the way it was none specific on why the doctor left his home planet, but at the same time showed the characters really nicely, and also why the doctor has a thing about Planet earth right from the start. It doesnt dispo disprove the Cartmal master plan, aka the theory that the Doctor is actually a reincarnation of Rassilons closest adviser known as The Other, but again it doesnt confirm it either, it does however do a great job in showing the Doctor finding the tardis for the first time and leaving with his grand daughter. I was a little more disappointed with The Assasination Games, the story that was supposed to bring the doctor and countermeasures together. While not a bad story, again it was the right wing political nutters behind everything, and I feel a little let down that after defeating The Elder Gods, h look, theres a conspiracy of universal shape shifting 
 aliens for the 7th doctor to plot against, it feels a bit too much of a set up. I was also a little disappointed by how female characters were treated in the story. I know the writer stated he fell into a sort of sixties mode when writing, but how any story containing ace can have so many women tied up, locked up or punched out I dont know. Heck, the final end in which an alien shape shifted politician

Aprone, Id just done a 35 assorted chemicals mission and lost my connection. After I logged back in, I had the same issue as after the Sniper: All my ammo was gone, including Med Kits. I had bought 23,000 7.62 mm ammo, worth about 100,000 reputation. I really dont have much to say, that pretty much coverde it. I cant wait for Mof to be gone, his writing is reasonably OK and hes made some good stand alones, but hes absolutely terrible at resolving long term plots.. And ultimately, drama and storylines are cheap. They have very little rewatch potential if you know what happened. Which is why many serials are still great today, because their stories are pretty self contained.I will say Im glad the Lords and Ladies are back. Ive never liked the time war to begin with, and not all time lords were evil psychos like in the End of Time. Sorry, gotta disagree with the block button. If you play with headphones you can alwaysd tell what side you are on with capcom games especially now. All the major capcom fighters SFIV, SF x Tekken, etc all have exellent panning and dont need you to experiment to block properly. And you can already make a button config for the throw buttons to be a macro. In any case, I dont think Capcom would change the block system theyve been using for over 20 years. Well Dark abomination, Im not sure on even first watch value for the long series produced after the Moph took control, simply because his solutions undermine anything bad or tense in the plot. The Mophs first series had the big bad pandorica, which was a trap for the doctor okay,  accept that the doctor comes back from the future and gets out anyway. the second series had the doctors inevitable death which he escapes by being a Robot clone,  for the love of pete a robot! clone! and marrying riversong though the plot there was so dam incoherent I am still not certain on that relation despite having read several synopses, plus it doesnt help that I just find Amy pond to be down right annoying! Third seriesand Clara solves everything by rewriting history, and then MAt smith regenerates by , magic! Back in the very early conception of Doctor who, cidney newman specifically stated that time tra
 vel needed limiting because it had the potential to ruin any plot. This was why once the third doctor Came along and the Doctor had precise control over his tardis the Blinavich limitation affect was introduced, ie, that the Doctor could not go back in time to events he himself was present in without very bad things happening, or unless there was a special reason. This is why it took the entire power of the high counsel using the Eye of Harmony to have the Doctors first three encarnations meet up to defeat Omega, something which wouldnt have happened if Omega hadnt been such a major threat, ditto with the five doctors. This is a tradition Big finish have continued, indeed much of the 8th doctor charley plot is about how bad things can go when you start monkeying with causality. yet the moph just uses time travel, along with techno babble and random shouting to resolve any plot with no tention or even log
 ic, indeed, as I have said in one article Moph seems to think sufficiently advanced magic is indistinguishable from technology, . And sadly like all systems of magic once there is no limit, there is no tention and thus no story. Even on a dramatic level, all the bad stuff just seems to pass, weve not seen anyone like the Master torturing the Doctor and Captain Jack for a hole year while MArtha walks a devastated earth, or the Daleks killing major series characters. This is why while Ive watched every one of the Davies episodes a few times since I own them on Dvd, most of the new stuff Ive watched twice at most and often it felt more a duty than a pleasure since I had so little emotional or interlectual investment in what was going on.This is why while Id agree under a decent writer Gallifreys 
 return could be interesting, Im afraid under moph nothing will happen since ultimately if the Timelords disagree with the Doctor hell just shout very loudly and blow them up with magical emotional golden energy, heck theyre unlikely ever to actually do anything bad to the doctor or his latest faceless assistant anyway, at least nothing wed actually see on screen which would have an impact on us.As regards the time war, I disagree with you there since I did originally like the idea of moving the plot forward and the effects it had on the 9th and 10th doctor were interesting, which again is why I cant forgive the moph for doing a huge retcon of the hole thing. I also didnt personally think the psychotic time lords in The end of time were representative of the hole race either, since remember that ruthless ppeople often take over in wars, (they certainly did in the Gallifrey audio series), and it was 
 established that the timelords had done some pretty extreme things.My only personal issue with the End of Time gallifrey plot was that it left too many loose ends. Who was the Time Lady helping out the Doctor? Why was the head of the counsel called rassilon and what exactly was his power? What precisely was the moment? I expected some of these to be answered in the Eleventh doctors first series, but that never happened, and of course style, tone and anything else went down the tubes at that point.The time war also served another interesting purpose, since it gave Davies a plausable getout for say showing a different end of earth in End of the World to the one seen in Arc of infinity and do things like rebuild the cybermen. It served as a quite clever reset of certain timelines and plot threads,  though unfortunately the moph has stomped all over those since he took over (why the hell the cybermen from another dimention suddenly 
 have an empire and space fleets I dont know).I still personally hold to my above theory. The 8th doctor destroyed the universe in the time war and the 9th and 10th doctors are the Doctors dying mind coming to terms with what he did. He finally establishes this in the end of time, when he realizes the time lords had gone too far, and so can die knowing he did the right thing and that other dimentions such as the one he left rose in

Ill try and do a recording for Chriss chapter tonight. Getting the key from the dog is easy, when youre at the locked gate, turn around but never use the button to display your route. Head back and youll eventually meet a few dogs, kill them using melee, its harder but at least the one having the key will drop it near you. You can do the qws/midiyoke/fluidsynth combination without programming. You only need programming for pyo. In terms of accessible instrument design, Pyo, and other programming tools, are the only accessible option Im aware of, but qws is fine for just playing and/or editing. Don’t get too excited yet to play through all of those Super Nintendo and N64 games from your youth, though: at the moment, the so-called Internet Archive Console Living Room, is only dedicated to the most retro of gaming consoles.So far, the Console Living Room includes sections for five different gaming consoles, the Atari 2600, the Atari 7800 ProSystem, the ColecoVision, the Magnavox Odyssey, and the Astrocade. The Atari consoles are still remembered fondly by many gamers, while some of the other models have been a bit more forgotten over time. Regardless of how successful the gaming systems were back in the day, however, hundreds of their games have now been modified for emulated computer and internet use. From “Donkey Kong” to “Pac-Man” and from “Asteroids” to old licensed games like “Spider-Man” and “The Return of the Jedi,” the Internet Archive Console Living Room will allow players to recapture the timeless throwback feel of 1970s and 1980s gaming.At the moment, the games don’t have sound, removing the beeps and blips that would truly posit the Internet Archive Console Living Room as a vintage and nostalgic experience. I disagree completely that Doctor who has no cannon, indeed this is one reason I disagree so strongly with Mophs destruction of the laws of time (or indeed plot). It is true there are conflicting cannon stories with say the Dalek origins in genesis as opposed to the original daleks serial, however these are exceptions rather than the norm, and usually the classic series (at least from pertwee to the end of Mccoy), is pretty consistant. Its also notable that Bf has done a great deal to show a consistant story and show the affects of various tv events, for example, showing how Davros got to be Emperor of the Daleks in rememberance after he got carted off for Trial at the end of revelation, indeed if you follow just the Bf stories and the Tv series youve got something pretty coherent. It is true there are shenanigans if you try to include all the novels ( particularly the 8th doctor ones), though there have bee
 n some attempts to do this too. In general though I myself do believe some form of cannon is necessary for coherence, which is another reason Im such a major Bf fan and so down on the Moph. Lets say for example I wrote a story about how the Daleks were actually a super intelligent race of squid people evolved on a water planet who used their casings to survive outside water, and initially couldnt understand how air breathing races could possess intelligence, and thus tried to exterminate them all but were eventually shown the error of their ways. My story might or might not be a good story, but it just wouldnt! be the Daleks, since we know where the Daleks came from, who made them and what their motivations are etc. Thats why even if you allow some degree of cannon messing about like the time war, there has to be an explanation, like for example maybe my super evolved squid people  enc

Well since weve now had not only the day of the Doctor but Mat smiths regeneration in the rather stupidly named time of the Doctor, I thought pulling this one out of the topic vortex would be a good idea. Btw, if you havent seen both of those episodes be aware Ill be discussing them in detail so beware here be spoilage! Firstly, day of the Doctor. while I originally wouldve liked to see Paul Mcgan in this with the 10th and 11th doctors, John hert was a reasonable choice at least, and I liked the dynamic that harked back to the 3 doctors, with having the two younger later encarnations bickering and their disagreement settled by the older previous one. I even liked the return of the Zigons, the reference to Captain Jack and the vortex manipulator, and the reappearence of The Brigadiers daughter. All this was okay up until the point that the Steven bloody stupid 
 may he be exterminated utterly and blasted from all of time and space mophat decided to utterly, completely, absolutely and totally ruin the plot of the last 7 years of tv by having the time war retconed! Honestly! of all the deus ex that the moph has done this is the worst! It actually seems typical of his thinking. he wants the epic quality, the drama and the hope, but  woe betide that anything actually bad should happen! honestly when the 10th and 11th doctors appeared and reversed the time war I was about ready to spit bricks. So then we come to the time of the Doctor, after the stupidity of returning Gallifrey (ignoring everything that happened in the end of time and the fact that the timelords were never really that nice to begin with), I thought Mat smith would spend a hole series searching for the planet but ooh look, it appears straight away, isnt that convenient. I never really saw the point in the 
 Church organization, neither did I really get why, when nobody else in the entire universe know that gallifrey hadnt been destroyed the daleks, the cybermen, the zigons, the sickorax, the sontarans and uncle tom cobly and all seem to know that Gallifrey was potentially returning and decide to blow the heck out of the small festive town in the same location. I was also not exactly certain where the doctor got his cyber buddy from. So, the doctor sits on trensalor for 300 years causing a stale mate until Clara happens to turn up with his Tardis and the Daleks happen to attack the church, then for no readily apparent reason he decides to regenerate and blow up the daleks in the process, even though this was supposedly his last regeneration thanks to the insertion of the war doctor and the 10th doctors failed regeneration in Journeys end (even though in Jurneys end the 10th doctor says
  quite freely he didnt use a regeneration since he ciphoned the energy off into his severed hand).Again, this is just typical mophat. he wants all the epic nature and drama, but cant have anything bad or sad happen without undermining it. He wanted to do the last and final doctor regeneration,  and then just decides the doctor regenerates through magic! oh for the love of plot! Oh and Vanilla clara loves the doctor for some reason, even though theres not been any suggestion of this, though to be honest Clara is so undistinguished I cant honestly think of anything seriously note worthy about her anyway which would make this have any point, so for me it was just words (very different from either Rose tyler or Charley pollard).Needless to say if I ever meet Mophat hell get a punch up the hooter! Now, on to the audio stories, otherwise known as the only decent doctor who still around.Im act
 ually very impressed with the recent companion story the Beginning showing the doctor leaving Gallifrey (and missing that stupid moment of Photoshopped clara with the first doctor thank god). I like the way it was none specific on why the doctor left his home planet, but at the same time showed the characters really nicely, and also why the doctor has a thing about Planet earth right from the start. It doesnt dispo disprove the Cartmal master plan, aka the theory that the Doctor is actually a reincarnation of Rassilons closest adviser known as The Other, but again it doesnt confirm it either, it does however do a great job in showing the Doctor finding the tardis for the first time and leaving with his grand daughter. I was a little more disappointed with The Assasination Games, the story that was supposed to bring the doctor and countermeasures together. While not a bad story, again it was the right wing political nutters behind ever
 ything, and I feel a little let down that after defeating The Elder Gods, h look, theres a conspiracy of universal shape shifting aliens for the 7th doctor to plot against, it feels a bit too much of a set up. I was also a little disappointed by how female characters were treated in the story. I know the writer stated he fell into a sort of sixties mode when writing, but how any

I disagree completely that Doctor who has no cannon, indeed this is one reason I disagree so strongly with Mophs destruction of the laws of time (or indeed plot). It is true there are conflicting cannon stories with say the Dalek origins in genesis as opposed to the original daleks serial, however these are exceptions rather than the norm, and usually the classic series (at least from pertwee to the end of Mccoy), is pretty consistant. Its also notable that Bf has done a great deal to show a consistant story and show the affects of various tv events, for example, showing how Davros got to be Emperor of the Daleks in rememberance after he got carted off for Trial at the end of revelation, indeed if you follow just the Bf stories and the Tv series youve got something pretty coherent. It is true there are shenanigans if you try to include all the novels ( particularly the 8th doctor ones), though there have bee
 n some attempts to do this too. In general though I myself do believe some form of cannon is necessary for coherence, which is another reason Im such a major Bf fan and so down on the Moph. Lets say for example I wrote a story about how the Daleks were actually a super intelligent race of squid people evolved on a water planet who used their casings to survive outside water, and initially couldnt understand how air breathing races could possess intelligence, and thus tried to exterminate them all but were eventually shown the error of their ways. My story might or might not be a good story, but it just wouldnt! be the Daleks, since we know where the Daleks came from, who made them and what their motivations are etc. Thats why even if you allow some degree of cannon messing about like the time war, there has to be an explanation, like for example maybe my super evolved squid people  enc
 ountered a crashed Dalek ship in their waters and modified the casings to their own design, thus making them like! the daleks, and explaining why they used Dalek weaponry, but making them consistant with what we know about the Daleks.This is exactly what Davies did with the new cybermen, indeed the Doctor comments that hes seen this before harking back nicely to spare parts, and meaning we have a new breed of human cybermen from another reality rather than the mondasian cybermen seen in the classic series and in Vanstattens collection in the 9th doctor episode Dalek. While some of Davies cybermen episodes were a little overblown in terms of emotion, (especially Next doctor), at least they followed a consistant set of events and you knew where they were coming from,  aside from the fact that Davies cybermen were actually scary enough to do things like really convert people (something Mophat seems afraid to do).Sadly however, agai

Honestly I would say it sort of does because of the games you are able to join, for instants if you are a class 1 racer and someone is racing a class 4 track you cant just hop on. Also for the class 4 player, should he decide to come and join your game will not be able to use his upgrades on the class 1 tracks, because as far as I know the only upgrades in class 1 are the nitro ports that you can install on your racer. Of course I could be completely rong, I only know because I baught a copy of rr 1 and still waiting for my key for rr 2. Hi all,I started playing MGS 2 again, and heres a recording of me playing. Its been a while since I played so I had to remember a few things, but overall, this game is awesome. The recording lasts about 30 minutes and its the first part of Snakes chapter. Yep, and the day that the Skype API will no longer be able to be used by third-party applications will be a sad one, indeed. I managed to murge my Skype and Microsoft accounts using NVDA and the version of Skype that comes with Windows 8. I even figured out how to use it successfully with NVDA. I found another bug, although this one may be already known about. I tried reporting it within the game first, but no go.Heres how to replicate this.1. Go into the safe zone.2. Load up the chainsaw.3. Hit T to turn it off.4. Hi.The run dialogue seems to be the best solution to this issue.Thanks for all the feedback guys.I cannot say enough about NVDA and the freedom it has given me at school.I used to have to use a select few computers with JFW but now I have the freedom to be with my sighted peers and use the same computers they use.It makes me really angry and sad when I hear people say NVDA is stupid or its not as good as Jaws or Window-eyes.You cant run those screen readers on a thumb drive can you?Of course not because theyre more concerned with there god damn money than allowing a visually impaired person access to any computer anywhere.Ok thats enough.Anyway thanks for the tips.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=159914#p159914

another bug to report im afraid. i keep ending up naked, which i admit is a horrible thought anyway. but on my hard core char earlier i nearly died because my armor suddenly vanished. later same thing happened with my metal shin pads. when i got back to sz and logged out and back in, they were back. they hadnt broken.just now, i was on map 5 in one of the shooting zones. i was at 100% for ages. next thing im down to 23%. i had to run like hell and use meds. all my armor had fallen off but was still in my inventory.luckily i survived. i would have been a rather unhappy badger if id died with what ive picked up since the reset.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=159915#p159915

Im already loosing interest.  thinking of apps, smartphones and the like, an app that can recognise previously met peopled be fun. say, when I meet X for the first time, I take his image, and saves it as X. the next time I take his image, the app automaticly recognise X and gives me the info. is that even possible from a programming point of view?
