Sorry to say, but the description doesnt really motivate people to buy this, to see whats like, without having heard about the game from other places.Then, I would like to ask if its possible to design the way updates are read in other ways. Ive missed a lot of updates because I didnt know they were comming, and I would like to see a way to repeet the last or few last spoken updates, or much better, if they were readable with Voiceover directly on the screen so you could swipe to the text.The accessibility mode is really awesome, and its so fantastic that you have been so much willing to make this, so you have forced yourself to beat the game only using Voiceover!I look forward to play the game some more, and yesterday, I had my first battle in the old house. Hi.I have an Acer tablet running Windows 8.1 Pro. The setup screen is without any sound at all before that loads up before Windoes starts. The sound card is enabled when Windows loads and the Windows start up screen comes, where you have to create your account etc. So people who says its possible to just start up a Windows 8 computer for the very first time and start Narrator and set it all up without any sighted assistance, sorry to say, but youre wrong, because thats very different depending on what computer youre using. The really interesting sound engineering happens not in those kind of games because audio games in a first person perspective are straight forward. You simply implement what the protagonist hears and you add a couple of utility sounds to replace the user interface feedback found in visual games. The implementation of those utilitarian sounds is quite diverse and interesting but nothing compared to the ingenuity needed to replicate other game perspectives in an entirely auditive experience. Think of super mario bros. as an audio game or the injustice side scrolling beat em up game found here in this forum as well.the game system, the player, and the virtual environmentOr as they are commonly known input, processing, output. Not sure how this proprietary terminology is truly needed. I guess it is more descriptive and evoking than the classic definition used for software.Even though the technology exists today, besides Papa Sangre, it seems nearly impossible to find any other commercial game—video game or otherwise—that uses a somewhat realistic real-time binaural audio processing.Ive tried to program different prototypes based on various technologies and I came to the conclusion that binaural sound is at the moment not something that is possible to realize in video games. Real binaural sound needs to be recorded specific to the situation and doesnt fit with the idea of an interactive medium. The HRTF algorithms currently available either yield terrible results or are immensely taxing on calculation cycles.The indie game developers, on the other hand, have focused mostly on the mobile phone market.Thats simply not true. The indie scene on the PC is thriving and as diverse and healthy as it has ever been. Platforms like Steam, GOG and the Humble Bundle initiative show statistics that generally surpass the mobile environment if we subtract the shovelware commonly found there. rayqrat, your best bet is to use a shield. I think you have the steel shield megapluspurasu thing. Put that on. And also, start making middle shooters in the synthesis shop. you can make a middle shooter from 10 mini shooters. The robots on stage 16-1 to 16-3 drop minishooters. 10 middle shooters will alos make a mega shooter. These guns all dont require reloading, and they deal direct damage to all non-boss enemies. For bosses, the damage is decreased by a lot though, so if you want to do ranged attacks against the bosses, the needle launcher is better. @Slj, regarding the history and updates, one thing I have noticed is that you only tend to get a couple of updates spoken if you directly touch the bottom of the screen where history is, however if you swipe to history and then listen you will get the last four or five updates, so you will not miss things. This confused me initially as well, but once I realized swiping was needed to trigger the hints to speak the rest of the updates, I found no problems with this and havent worried about missing stuff sinse, though I would still prefer the history had time to speak the travel results before the encounter with the scout after you get back from a journey. Regarding combat, well the more extra weapons you can carry the better off you will be since the more attacks you will have, and you should run across something else to help soon. Just bare in mind if you die out in the barren world you lose all your items, which can be a pretty grim pena

Thanks for the detailed reply. I did actually fix the previously noted glitches last night so I will check out the things you pointed out today.in reffrrence to the music glitch, if you walk out of the gym while the intro is playing, the rest of the song doesnt start; in fact no music plays until I go into a pokemart or senter or go back into the gym.This is a fairly minor issue, its just that the way the music works with loops it can be cumbersome. Its... very unappealing in terms of the way I have to set it up at least (using timers and all sorts of garbage)the end of turn report seems to turn on and off randomly.I turned it off to see what it did in a wild battle, and when I enterd a trainer battle it was on again.Later; in, say version 0.50 or something the end of turn report could be made to only report things that changed.so for exam
 ple, if my Pokemons helth only went down in the last turn, I dont need to be told that it has 20 out of 20 hp in this turn, as I already know that from last turns report. And, if I do forget, I can just check the status with the keystrokes.The end of turn report toggles with the F10 key, I didnt write any documentation on it since it was a very small change and this isnt really a full release but rather a testing release. Since the information can be checked with the A and S keys though on both the Fight and Battle menus I will proably refrain from that, and have it as a sort of preference. Ill look into why the toggle is being turned on and off though since I didnt notice that before.Also, the sounds for people and such can be a henderence sometimes.With a lot of people and dorrs the sound field can get vary busy.When you first enter a town it

Ok.This is not something I ever shared anywhere, but I guess its alright now that its over.When I was in high school, I had a crush on my English Teacher. Her name was Ms. Mc... She added them to facebook, had private discussions with various students, ETC.Now, back during that year I had a crush on her, and I knew it. But I also knew it wasnt going anywhere. Well love is such a slippery word anyway, and so long as itsnot in a dodgy sense, since that is something that could go very wrong if the teacher takes advantage of a student (and yes, women teachers have been tguilty of this in the past).love as friend or confidant or similar however is indeed no problem.  You might say that I love my tutor, who has seen me through a degree, masters and doctorate, we have spent lots of time together including meeting up for drinks and lunch outside tutorials, indeed weve had discussions recently because hes had a detached retina, and he wanted to know about magnifyers etc, but if I would use the word love this would be more the sense that a person can love a wise and kindly uncle who you have a huge respect for.Ive had similar thoughts for teachers in the past and at school, though its always been in that sort of surragate parent relation
 ship, not as Kile said the way I would love a girl. Indeed, theres no reason not to have friends who are older, one person I know I met playing nation states and weve stayed in contact ever since (even having conversations by phone), is a lady in her fifties. Bare in mind though, the opposite can also be true. Ive had teachers who were completely vile and unpleasant and who I absolutely disliked, some Id even say I hated. Ah yeah speaking to them works fine now. One bug thats still there that I forgot to mention before is sometimes in a battle, not sure if its specifically a trainer battle or if it happened in a wild Pokémon battle the first time, the game will lag about two steps behind, or repeat two steps is more accurate. So like it will already have said yours and the enemys moves and move on to the end of turn stats but then itll say them again and often stays that way, so youll have to arrow to realize when its the part where you choose fight, item, etc and the move instead of entering until it says to choose because otherwise youll miss it because the game isnt at the point where it says what will *your pokemon* do when the options are there. Also because of this things faint twice, ask to switch pokemon for trainer battles twice, etc. I think the first time it straightened itself out after a while but when it happened on the newest one it crashed afterwards. I have not encountered that myself, if it crashed to the desktop the game will spout an error resembling the errors that other members have posted.The flow of battle is the following:-Before attack messages (switching pokemon, activating effects, ect.)-First attack sound-First attack-Second attack sound-Second attack-Your end-turn statuses (poison ect.)-Enemy end-turn statuses(If F10 has toggled End Turn Report on)-Your report-Enemy reportCan you specify exactly where the issue is happening? Regarding hints I am a little surprised that people have hints turned off since your by no means the first person who uses vo hints to provide extra information, indeed some accessible Iphone games would be unplayable without them. I think the looping changes when it happens. Just now it happened again after asking if I wanted to switch Pokémon in a trainer battle, but last time it had been during a battle. What it will do is set the voice two steps behind the actual stage of the game. Normally you would keep entering past your Pokémons and the enemy Pokémons hp report, but in this case instead of entering that would be the point where you arrow to choose from fight, item and pokemon. So you choose fight, but when it goes to the moves list the voice is still stuck behind so it tells you your hp. After you choose an attack it acts normally, does the sound and says youre attacking then after you enter it does the opponents sound and says theyre attacking, but after that it does the same as last time where instead of entering after the enemy attacks, you have to choose fight and then the attack while the game says your hp. Because of this the opponents hp report gets skipped because after you choose a move it again acts normally with reporting your and your opponents moves. And this time it waited until talking to the next trainer to crash, so its really weird where its not set in stone for when it happens. Hi Kamochek.Well I have loved most of my teachers throughout school but only one in the way that you mean. This was years ago in high school and her name was Sara. I had to take a year of spanish with her and had a lot of fun. She was smart and funny and interesting and pretty and after a while I realized that I liked her a lot. Nothing ever happened between us because she was married and I didnt want to put her in a position like that. One thing I think you should do if your comfortable with it is getting out and meeting other girls. It definitly helped me because when I was in sixth grade I used to well I guess get attached to one particular girl or another and that isnt always a good thing like you would think.Well besides that going a little off topic kamochek you are going to have to realize that you cant convert everybody to what you believe even though its hard to except. For example I like to rock back and forth and I have a chair that rocks back and forth. Im not sure how accessible it is, but other members have copied the crashes, including people with total blindness. Using TTS for voice acting is not a good idea. It detracts from the over-all audio gaming experience for a lot of people, myself not included.I am wonderring about the auto-licensing system. I am wonderring how it is possible to use such a system to generate keys. How is that secure? For instance, Rail Racer orders must be taken care of by an actual person. This seems like the most secure approach to me, that way the amount of replacement keys being asked for can be monitored. It seems to me that the auto-licensing system would be a drawback in this regard. The advantage of course being that people do not have to wait on a human to generate a key when an order is placed. Every time this has happened was in Viridian Forest. Not sure the first time because I wasnt expecting it, but afterward twice it happened when fighting bug catcher Doug and once with another bug catcher, I forget the name not sure if it was Sammy or the other one but when progressing in the forest its two trainers after Doug. Nothing else unusual was happening before the battle or even before the glitch, it just sort of happens unexpectedly. Im not sure if this is what the others are doing but since the error window comes up right after the error is encountered I tried select all and copy pasting once the game stopped but all it does is make Microsoft stop responding every time it tries to paste. No, windows 8 isnt the issue. Im perfectly happy with this laptop in fact it actually looks quite good to me... wondering what you think of the specs listed there? Hmm, well it has started after switching once but all the other times its just been in the middle of a turn, when attacking or reporting the hp at the end, so dont think switching is directly linked to the problem. Seriusly considering studying, working, or visiting in Japan, thoughts

Like many, my first exposure to Japanies culture in some asspect was through Anime, or mentions of samurai in various types of media. However recently, i began to heavily study the culture of Japan, and listen to other Americans experiences on what it was like to live in Japan. Yes i know, culture shock would probably be a big thing to overcome, as well as learning the language. However, i have thought of going to the country to study the language, and use it by interacting with the people. This plan of mine is all theoretical at this point, and i have not taken any action to further this line of thinking as of yet. I completely understand that money will be an issue. If anyone knows of any grants, or blind organizations who support trips to Japan in any form please let me know. I am also aware that the culture is very traditional, and many of the phillisophical beliefs that the culture holds will take adapting to. In other words, Anime isnt seen in the same light as i

I havent stopped the doubling (since I cannot trigger it and I spent 2 hours trying) but I certain instances to suicide at the point the menu is generated which might alleviate the problem somewhat. If it does it definitely means that it
