Re: Accessibility Jam online!

Totally!Im doing a game jam now and hopefully some of those guys will take what they learned about screen readers from me and build something awesome!Im not sure how pretty my game will be from this game jam, but I would like to continue working with some of these guys for the big accessibility jam. Some folks here should form teems and when they have their open chat room, ask for artists and programmers in your languages.Sound guys will be really good for the sighted devs as if a game is good enough on the sound, it is a matter of commands being easy for the players. We should post our abilities and skills here so we can start getting an idea of who we can ask to join our teem or for help once the jam starts.Im a novice, but I can program OK in python, I use pygame and accessible_output. I have not worked with graphics in pygame before.I also like recording sound effects and editing sounds to work in games. One of my skil
ls is talking to sighted programmers and communicating very well what I want the program to do. I am also super good at crashing games. Give me a game and I can probably crash or find a bug in it within 30 seconds.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=173984#p173984

Re: Some questions about computer and sounds

HiI think I have a solution for a few of your problems at once, actually.Number 1. forget renaming the zip file, instead, unzip it and then copy all the folders and files from it, and put them into your NVDA directory under the system config folder, if its a portable version, put them in the user config folder instead, and make sure to let it replace any files it needs to, they wont cause any problems, it needs to happen that way.Number 2, allot of the sounds that your saying cant be accessed, such as the forms mode sounds, the start up sounds, etc, can actually be accessed even with out that themes manager addon the addon just makes it easier.Go to the NVDA directory and find the folder called wavs, in that folder will be 5 sounds, browseMode.wav . error.wav . exit.wav . focusMode.wav . and start.wav .If you want to modify these sounds just copy them to the NVDA root directory to use as a backup just encase you mess somet
hing up when your editing your new sounds, and replace them with the ones that you want.I dont know how NVDA will behave when you replace one of its files while its running if that file isnt currently in use, the best idea is to restart NVDA with the control alt N keystroke every time you replace a sound file with a new one to be safe, but I dont think it will ever crash so badly that it wont be able to be fixed by just restarting NVDA after it crashes, even if its a problem with how long the sound file is.I dont think NVDA would be so picky that it wouldnt accept any files accept ones that are just like its own original files, but if it is, here is the information about the type of sound files that NVDA uses just encase, so you know what to make your sound files like if it does end up crashing it.File Type: wav . Format: PCM . Channels: 1 (Mono) . Sample Size: 16Bit . Sample Rate: 22KHZ . Bit Rate: 352KBPSNote: Also most of them are under half a second in length, so you may have to make your sounds the same amount of time or less, but that might not be a problem depending on what NVDA allows you to do.Number 3. I do some sound design and could probably pretty easily help you by finding or making sounds for you, all I really need to know is what you want them to sound like so I can start, and a list of files, what you want each one to sound like when I finish making them, and what that file does in NVDA, if you can, which would help me allot. What would also help make that go faster is if you linked to a video, or a sound file, or just gave me what you already have done so that I know what kind of theme that you want all of the sounds to have, I want to make it something that youll like.If you dont want my help to make sounds, and just want to do it your self, then a good website to check out is . http:
//www.freesound.org . and that should get you started on your way.You will need to create an account to actually download any sounds, but the account is free and Freesound will not send you any spam emails, you can listen to files with flash player, however, by clinking the play sound link above each sound, and if you do make an account, you can just click on the sounds name after you log in on the home page and use the search box to find one, and you will be on a page where you can download it.The site also includes search and advanced search features, as well as ways to narrow down the sound you want by criteria such as number of channels, bit rate and sample rate, sample size, username of who made the sound, and more, as well as the ability to download some sounds in zip files containing several sounds at once. For instance, if you were looking for a pack of robot beep sounds, you would download it by finding one of the sounds that belongs to that pack, af
ter searching for sounds with the search box as you normally would, but instead of clicking the link with the sounds name in it to download that 1 file, you would click the pack link located near the bottom of the sounds listing, and be taken to a page with a pack that has that sound and others in it, which you can download as a zip file.Note: sounds that arent in packs will not have a pack link in there listing, so just download those 1 at a time.Freesound has a an absolutely enormous database of sounds, many of which are high quality, some of which are even professionally done by studio artists and audio recording engineers, that are free to use, and all you need to do to use them is sign up for the free account and when you use them, mention the username of the person that made the sound somewhere, such as in the credits section of a Readme file, or a text file in a large pack of sounds, if your going to show that sound to other people, either sharing it

Re: Is audiogames.net audioguys.net?

Well it is true ap as a sort of catch all term for any program has taken on, however equally there are many aps that are not games and serve very different ends. It is true Frastlin that a lot of women get involved in social media, which i again tend to think is the cultural bias that women are encouraged to communicate and be social far more than men, and as such games that promote socialization and friendly interaction tend to be marketed as much to women. Ill also note that as far as facebook and the ap store goes, there is a new class of game which you might call appearence based. For example one game several of my brothers female friends play is a creature based game involving dragon breeding, however the object isnt to collect every single dragon in the game, use your dragon to explore different areas much less battle other dragons, so much as it is to breed dragons with contrasting colours, patterns body shapes a
nd characteristics and see what you get for the pure purpose of visual appeal. You could call this a fashion game or a design game, and that sort of game is obviously intended more for female gamers than male ones, sinse again just as men ar encouraged to compete women are encouraged to be concerned with the appearences of their possessions.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=173992#p173992

Hmm, thats odd. What version of IE are you using? The lag issue seems to have cleared up for me with the new layout. Even when I was using IE8, it would only start lagging after a lot of turns, like 20 or more, and seemed to be based on how many creatures and resource cards I had out. I used to get an out of memory error with IE8 if I left a game open too long, but that doesnt happen anymore. Maybe try upgrading your IE to IE11? I couldnt get the game to work with firefox at all because it jumps around too much.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174015#p174015

2014-05-04 Thread AudioGames.net Forum — Off-topic room: fastfinge

Re: help finding people to discuss something with

@aaron: Hmmm. Actually, I have a lot of them. First off, I was incredibly glad to have the transcripts. While I love the voice acting on the show, I am a lot less thrilled by the sound design. This might be because this is only the third animated show Ive ever watched in my life, as I generally avoid cartoons of any kind. But...Im sorry...that isnt what a Pegasus in flight sounds like! The flight sounds they use for Rainbow Dash dont make me think flight, they make me think dishwasher from the 25th century having an accident. Thats the worst example, but I find all of the other sounds equally bad. However, the rest of the show, plus just ignoring the sound design because I dont need to listen carefully to follow along thanks to the transcript, meant it only really bothered me for about half of the first episode and then I mostly got over it. Second off, I am kind of surprised how much I *do!
 * love the voice acting. Every single character sounds completely and totally different from the voices I was hearing in my head from fanfic. Being the kind of person I am, I am shocked at how totally fine I am with that. Normally, I get a set idea of how things should be, and cling to it pretty tightly. But the actual MLP voices sound even more like the right voices for those characters than the voices I was imagining for them. So, who ever was in charge of casting has mad skills to make it that satisfying. Now that Ive dealt with the technical stuff, I can move on to the plot. I dont know if youre a Piers Anthony fan or not, but Equestria feels so much like xanth without the sex, and a few less puns, and a lot more ponies, its astonishing! When I was watching Dragonshy, I could have sworn that exact plot happened in Xanth. But I looked through my _guide to xanth_ and the xanth concordance, and it
turns out it didnt. It just felt super xanthian. The starting two-parter episode also felt like something that could have happened in xanth: a young creature is sent out on a quest to do x by the all knowing magician, and along the way meets a group of companions, and discovers the things that were really important all along. At the end, just when everything seems lost, the all-knowing magician tells her that she was meant to discover those things from the start, and all is well. Even the dialogue feels like something Piers Anthony might have written for his child characters. I remember actually saying out loud at the end of part 2: My God, this is early xanth again. Also, MLP uses similar word gags that dont really affect the plot much, but are funny, and encourage a love of words and language, while building character. Also also, a lot of the animation gags (hearts in peoples eyes, seeing stars, etc) are thing
s that absolutely can and do happen in xanth. The things that are important in MLP are really similar to the values that are important in Xanth. Xanth and MLP are both interested in clothing only for appearance sake, otherwise being fine with nudity. Xanth even has a lot of equines in it: centaurs, flying centaurs, unicorns, ghost horses, alicorns, etc. They even seem to have similar ideas about exactly what it should mean to be royalty. The reason I am harping on this so much is because the xanth books were the books of my childhood. I grew up reading, re-reading, and otherwise loving the hell out of them. But as I grew up, I got more and more uncomfortable with the side elements of xanth: strange sex, female objectification, etc. Also, as xanth went into its 30th book, the plots got tired, and the characters got warn. I mostly convinced myself that it was because Im just too old to enjoy new xanth books now, not because Piers A
nthony jumped the shark long ago. And then I finally watched My Little Pony. This is almost exactly how it felt, to be 11 years old, and curled up with _Aisle of View_ or _Ogre Ogre_, but distilled into half an hour. And you know what? Im still not too old. I didnt do all of the awful growing up that I was kind of afraid I had gone and done. Sure, Im more aware of things now, so I can see the holes that Xanth had that I couldnt see when I was 11. But My Little Pony doesnt have most of those pitfalls. Its just silly little adventure stories, with a lesson at the end, where nothing really horrible ever actually happens. I dont mean that in a demeaning way, at all. I lived for exactly those kind of stories as a teenager. But I lost them somewhere during university, and could never quite reconnect with my favourite characters and stories. But finally, in Friendship is Magic, I
9;ve found them again. And thats what kept me up all night.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174022#p174022

Re: latin

Kamochek, the word minister is generally a catch all term for anyone who teaches at a Protestant church. Each denomination has its own title for minister be it reverend, pastor, etc but they all basically mean the same thing. The term priest usually specifically refers to a Catholic priest which performs the same purpose as Protestant ministers with one notable difference.Catholic priests are forbidden to marry and have sex. Protestant ministers have no such restriction so can marry, have children, and most do.I suppose there are some minor differences I could mention such as the way they dress. Generally Catholic priests where a black robe and clerical collar which identifies their rank or position within the church. Protestant ministers, at least here in the US, just where a nice suit and tie to church.Dark, thats very interesting that you once considered being a priest. Although, not too surprising. When I was a teen I also considered joining th
e ministry, and that was at a time when I was much more serious about my religious beliefs than I am now. Also like you I am glad I hadnt joined, because I think a lot of time and money would have been wasted on theological school seeing how Ive gone from very religious to very agnostic towards any and all religious beliefs. Although, apparently that sort of thing happens quite a lot more than one might think.Ive recently ordered a new book called Caught in the Pulpit which is about several ministers who have done that very thing. They went through theological school, got ordained, became a minister at a church, and discovered after several years went by they no longer believe in Christianity. They had doubts, questions, and wanted to get out and found it was very hard to leave the community. Often they had wives and children that resented their change in beliefs, friends in the church shunned them, and they became a pariah simply because they st
arted having doubts or no longer believed in Christianity.I have experienced some of that myself, but nowhere as bad as the people in the book. Thats why I am glad I never became a minister, because if I openly disclosed what I think and believe now after having been a minister for x amount of time I could have ended up in the same sort of situation as those people. People arent too forgiving about abandoning ones religious beliefs in favor of a more skeptical and scientific view of life.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174024#p174024

Re: The blind swordsman - a flash audio only game

I think at the moment most people are having issues navigating the buttons in the flash object. Theres a way to navigate it but its a bit obscure for most people, and has had varying results. On the blindness insult things, normally some people would find offense to something like this, but we have to look at this at the context of the game: 1. The main Character is attempting to regain something he finds as a handicap, yet is his greatest strength in the story and...well if anyones made it to the ending, well youll find out. But yes, him calling it a plight is perfectly fine as this is a person who hates the fact he lost his sight, and there has been many of people who try to find ways to see again after going blind. 2. The enemies thing is actually also easy to understand. they see a disabled foe and of course will think little of him. This i
s mirrored in reality in indirect ways as many of us have found out. As well, this sounds like it takes place in the past and I imagine there was a low expectation for people with disabilities, especially sword fighting blind. So enemies mocking the main character was going to happen. it is not like weve been called out for trying something blind and made fun for it, weve experienced that, even better when we somehow manage to do a better job. or, in the game, parry an enemies attack to their surprised before they get cut down. Comically enough, what we are lacking is an RPG. We only have one, and thats more semi-roguelike then an actual RPG. Hell, we have 2 or 3 shooters already. We have plenty of platformers in 2d (anyone for an accessible 3-D platformer?) and a few racing games. However, I noticed a demand for more strategy games, and a demand for RPGs that arent muds.
sp; By the way, great game as it did take a bit to figure out when to exactly parry. however, for survival mode, any chance of making the enemies charge faster and faster, along with doing what some of the eneies did in story and include multiple people circling around to start causing confusion after a while. Im guessing also include the dodging enemies and a slightly less blocky version of the horseman. Other then that, great job.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174026#p174026

The average is pretty much as I described, slightly like the catholic service, however there are some that are more informal and do not include as much of the litergy, and some that are even more formal. Ive even heard of Church of England priests who still conduct Latin services but this is extremely rare. As regards Islamic services, well sinse Muslims have a great respect for the Koran the Koran is the core of the service and basically all Islamic worship goes around it. When i was in Egypt, a muslim chap I grew to be good friends with also told me islam is very much against having elaborate rituals or symbols. Ive also heard that Islam has far more by way of random sects and interpretations than any other religion, so far more is up to individual interpretation of the Koran rather than there being an official position held by a ma
in authority such as The Church. Though generally youd probably be better off asking a Muslim about that. Regarding the different terms for priest, as I have understood it while each christian group tends to refer to their priests in a different way, it is also cultural. For example in Britain the term minister is not really used in the church of England, sinse fully ordaned priests tend to be called Vicars, (a term which I suspect is relatively exclusive to the Uk), though there are other ranks in the church as well, for example Deacons are ordaned but do not have the authority to carry out services, and mostly do the pastural care end of being a priest, while Each cathedral as well as having a Bishop who will administrate the hole Diaces, will also have a Dean or a provost, who essentially preforms the duties of a vicar for the Cathedral, carrying out everyday services etc. Btw amusingly enough, my religious studdies teacher at my last school
was actually called Mr. Vicars, which a lot of people found quite funny.Ive also never heard the term reverend used in the Church of England other than occasionally as a formal form of address for arch bishopps. Most more old fashioned priests tended to be addressed as father and their last name much as catholic priests are, though these days thats falling off and most Vicars are just refered to by name. Methodists and some other churches do! refer to their priests as ministers, while the termpastor Ive only ever seen used by penticostalists. @Tom I dont myself see too much conflict between science and religion, indeed in some ways Im beginning to think that the classic rational vs emotional view of human thought is extremely incorrect and the two are far less easy to separate. I can see problems if you think it is necessary to believe (as you have said most American christians
do), that the Bible is literally true, that Evolution cannot exist etc. However to me that has never been an issue, indeed thinking about the point when i had a lot to do with the church, I remember being ten and having confirmation classes with the local vicar and even raising the question of how the 7 day creation, the garden of Eden etc could be true given evolution, the big bang etc. he replied that the main point of the story was that God created the world and humanity had rebelled against God in the past and the world was imperfect because of that rebellion, so it didnt actually matter whether there was an adam and eve etc. Indeed myself back when i believed in God I often used to meditate on concepts in of astro physix like the big bang or big crunch, and believeed them to be evidencee at least to me of the existance of god sinse according to my own religious experiences God was pretty infinite. You can probably therefore see why i took to the philosophy of spinosa and
ideas of process theology so well once I discovered them. The main reason I didnt become a priest was firstly that firstly after the church were so nasty to my mum when she tried to become ordaned, I didnt want to get mixed up with that, and secondly that though i loved the religious philosophy, meditation and speculation there was a lot of stuff involved in studdying theology such as biblical translation that didnt interest me half as much.My personal issue with God is a lot more immediate and less philosophical, sinse Ive found that the worse my life got the less I could rely on discovering those echoes of the religious experiences I had. In short the worse life got the more distant God seemed to be. This is why at the moment Im very close to being agnostic, sinse while I still believe my own religious experiences, I am no longer particularly convinced what we called God gives two hoots about humanity at all. That people can be in conta
ct with God in some way I dont doubt, indeed I occasionally do meet someone I would actively considder to have an heir of holiness about them, but Im less certain there is much going on the other way. This

I always like classes that have their own activities, indeed Ive enjoyed necro for the minians and creating undead, which was why I switched it with thief to be my third rather than fourth class, and with the herb gathering and bone and rune carving I think Druid might be a more fun 4th class than mage. Re: Bop it Beats

Quasar,Nice review! especially the part having to do with beats and measures. quite detailed I must say. once you start getting into 6 commands at once, things can get rather confusing and complicated. for those with Bop it beats, I wonder if youre experiencing the issues Im having? first thing is, sometimes if you tilt the bop it a little bit, I believe it thinks youre flipping the device, cause you immediately lose the game. you must hold the unit quite straight to avoid this. another design flaw I found is, the device only allows one to spin the turn table at a certain speed. meaning to say, if you give it a hard spin, and your commands happened to contain for example, two scratch its in a row, you most likely wont be able to do it on beat, and sometimes not at all if you get real unlucky. you can sorta get around this by spinning the thing softly, but thats not always guaranteed. last issue is the flip it command. you have a bit of a delay f
rom the time you flip the device, to the time it actually registers the flip and switches song, so that can throw you off beat too if you dont time it properly. not sure if that last one is a glitch or an intentional decision made by devs. Im wondering if anyones found a way to deal with these issues? btw what are everyones scores? lets have some friendly competition haha. mine are: classic: 218. dj: 139.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174032#p174032

Re: The blind swordsman - a flash audio only game

Yeah, I understand, because its flash, screen readers dont catch it and the interface is totally not made for blind people.Having the game for blind people was an after thought, it was more for non-blind people to feel blind in the game. The game was originally an april fools game but we decided to make it something complete and playable. I later looked for places to share it for blind people but I realized the content could be considered offensive and that the interface would need work. But Brad, from this forum, contacted me so now I know of this site and I can work with you guys to adapt the game.Yeah its true the games content is relevant to blind peoples situation even in modern days. Glad you see it that way. One of the few blind heros heheheYeah the survival could have circling enemies and dodging enemies but I figure it would get weird if you have one guy on the left and one guy on the right,
bsp; I could experiment with that. They could start coming faster and faster though, thats a good idea. Also thinking about doing the mobile version for blind people.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174038#p174038

Re: latin

To be honest camochek you seem pretty obsessive about finding a service which is superficially similar to what you know. Heck, im fairly certain not all messianic jews work in the same way sinse I do know for a fact there are messianic jews who follow a much more Orthodox mode of worship, as I have met some at the counsel for christians and jews. its the same with the Church of England. Most are middle of the road, with some rituals similar to the catholics but some informalities, some are more formal (as I said I once heard of a Church of England priest who insisted on latin mass), and I know for instance not everyone in the Church of England agreed on having female priests although the Archbishop of Canterberry put his foot down over that one, some are far less formal, sojust reciting the creed and the lords prayer and mostly having a far less rigid order of service,. Heck even whether the hymns are extremely old English ones or modern ones, and whether the bi
ble readings come from the King James Bible or a more modern and simple translation, and whether the readings are given in plane speech or as a chant is really up to the choice of the priest and what he or she thinks best suits their congrigation. This is why I said earlier you have to look at what people believe, not merely how they practice and you cant so easily say even within the same dinomination eg, church of england Messianic jews what the single right kind of worship is.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174041#p174041

[Audiogames-reflector] Have you ever wanted to play the tank minigame from wii play?

2014-05-04 Thread AudioGames.net Forum — New releases room: guilevi

Have you ever wanted to play the tank minigame from wii play?

Hello all,Since I found out about the wii play tank minigame Ive been wanting to play it without sighted assistance, and thats been about 2 years now. And since I have a somehow decent knowledge of bgt, I decided to make a remake, trying to imitate the actual game. For those who have never played the wii play version, this game puts you in a big field. You are in a tank, and so are your enemies. You have an explosive shell launcher and mines (which I havent coded in yet). You wander around and try to kill everyone while trying to save your own skin. All tanks, including yours, are destroyed in one hit, which means you have to be very careful and very fast. This game is endless, meaning you can play as much levels as you can handle. Every level adds one more tank and increases the firing rate of the enemy tanks. The keys are arrow keys to move and space to ire. The clicking sounds are the tanks moving (they were like that in wii play too) and the little wizz
es are the explosive pellets. You will fire always toward the direction you last moved in, and so will the enemy tanks. I decided to include the source so you all can have fun, although I do have two things to say: 1, if you do any editting which you think might be of interest, please, please do post it here. And 2, even though this is open source I will continue development, taking any community code into account. So without further adue, this is the link!https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/5686474/tank.zipPs: My coding is messy as hell. Re: The blind swordsman - a flash audio only game

I dont find this game to be offensive at all. People are ignorant of blindness in real life and can do everything from babying us to attempted insults involving our blindness, so you kind of have to develop a thick skin towards that or end up living a very miserable life. As for blindness being a curse, Id actually agree with the main character, haha. Ive learned to live with my blindness and am very independant, I even have some martial arts experience. But you can bet that if there was ever a way that I could regain my site, even if it was experimental, Id do everything I could to get in on it. My favorite games are not in english. I play a lot of japanese games, which ironically is easier for us to do in a lot of cases than it is for sighted people. I know people play imports and use translation utilities, but in our case the main utility I use is a plugin to one of our major screen readers, so its very simple. Im a huge fan of RPG gam
es. Strategy is ok, though I tend to prefer more of a tactical RPG over a strategy game. Basically if its an RPG, Ill probably end up liking it. Action, tactical, turn-based, whatever. And yes, as Wyvern said, we are seriously lacking in those. At least in english.Funny that you mension a mobile version for blind people, I was just saying on twitter the other day that I actually thought this game would make a neat iOS game. Thanks for coming to the forums. Re: BitTorrent Sync anyone?

YO.I figured id just bring this topic back any ways, ive played with it, and i love it. it uses the fast and awesome bittorrent protacall to transfer files. There is an iOS, antroid, and windows phone app for it as well, and you can set those apps up just to have access to a folder, not actually try and download it all. I use this, for example, to stream a book to my iPhone and read it in voicedream. and i use it for lots of folders, and it has failed me very rarely.Ive even sent bittorrent a report on how fidly it can be with us NVDA users, and it seems like they fixed it!and even if they didnt, there is a nice little addOn in the NVDA db and BTSync folders that tfixes it up quite nicely.Just my thoughts rofl.URL: http://forum.audiog

Re: Hoping to move out.

Brad,Well, as far as cooking raw meats go it helps to have someone sighted help you learn to cook raw meats properly for the first few times because it largely depends on the equipment you are using and the type of meat you are cooking. I can say that a Forman grill comes in handy here because you can cook both sides equally at the same time. So if you are cooking say a steak you can cut the time in half while cooking it on both sides at the same time for a evenly done steak. If you want to know how well done your meat is there is a way to test how well it is cooked by using a toothpick or fork to gage its toughness. If you want to be absolutely sure you can get a talking meat thermometer which is a very good idea when cooking meats that you dont want to eat unless they are completely cooked. As far as paying rent and other bills it depends on the bill. Most bills like my phone bill I pay online through their website with a debit card. Others such as my el
ectric I have setup to automatically pay through my bank meaning I dont have to pay online or write a check. It just automatically comes out on the due date. For rent I have a neighbor or a family member write out the check, and then it is just a matter of signing it and dropping it off at the main office. As far as learning to cook I took home ed in school which taught me how to cook as well as other basic skills. In addition to that I spent the summer at the Cleveland Sight Center where they had some life skills training and another summer at the Vision Center. So all and all I learned through schooling and summer programs. The thing about cooking is that most of the time its just all about reading and following the cooking directions. It is not rocket science. Its just following the directions, and its something you will get better at with practice. For example, if you want to make Hamburger Helper you start by browning the hamburger in a skillet. Determin
ing when the meat is done is the most complicated part of the process, but I have learned to just guess based on timing. When its done you empty the grease out of the skillet by running the meat through a strainer, and then put the meat back in the skillet. You then add the noodles and sauce, and turn the stove down to simmer for about 15 minutes occasionally stirring the contents. After you are certain the noodles are soft you can turn the stove off and its ready to serve. Thats one of many quick and easy meals you can make for yourself that is not all that complicated to cook.In fact, once you learn how to brown hamburger there are a ton of things you can make besides Hamburger Helper. You can make tacos, spaghetti, sloppy joes, and quite a few other things so browning ground beef is one of the base skills youll need for cooking a lot of meals. If you have a pair of long oven mitts you can cook many things in the conventional oven just by following the dir
ections on the package. It might say pre-heat the oven to 425 degrees, lay the contents of the bag out on a cookie sheet, and bake for 20 minutes. Thats just a general direction of making fries, onion rings, tater tots, and other frozen foods that you can bake in the oven. Most of the time if you follow the directions and remember what the cooking directions are for this or that you can do it each and every time.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174068#p174068

Ah, I forgot how many times web vism clicks on there. I recommend adblock+. If you have adblock and its still crashing, no need to worry:(Its in 3 parts, so Ill do each part in its own post)Hacks! An investigation into aimbot dealers, wallhack users, and the million-dollar business of video game cheatingZero is a customer service representative for one of the biggest video game cheat providers in the world. To him, at first, I was just another customer. He told me that the site earns approximately $1.25 million a year, which is how it can afford customer service representatives like him to answer questions over TeamSpeak. His estimate is based on the number of paying users online at any given time, the majority of whom, like me, paid for cheats for one game at $10.95 a month. Some pay more for a premium package with cheats for multiple games. As long as there have been video games, there have been cheaters. For competitive games like Counter-Strike, battling cheaters is an eternal, Sisyphean task. In February, Reddit raised concerns about lines of code in Valve-Anti Cheat (VAC), used for Counter-Strike and dozens of other games on Steam, that looked into users’ DNS cache. In a statement, Gabe Newell admitted that Valve doesnt like talking about VAC because “it creates more opportunities for cheaters to attack the system. But since online surveillance has been a damning issue lately, he made an exception.Newell explained that there are paid cheat providers that confirm players paid for their product by requiring them to check in with a digital rights management (DRM) server, similar to the way Steam itself has to check in with a server at least once every two weeks. For a limited time, VAC was looking for a partial match to those (non-web) cheat DRM servers in users’ DNS cache.I knew that cheats existed, but I was shocked that enough people paid for them to warrant DRM. I wanted to find out how the cheating business worked, so I became a cheater myself. That’s how I found Zero. After we finished talking, he reminded me to send him the $25 I promised him. I did not at any point say anything that could possibly even suggest that I would pay him for any reason. I asked him if he meant that was something I promised him or something that I should just do. “Both,” he said. “I also advise you not to use this information against me. That wouldnt be wise.”How I became a cheating scumbagBohemia Interactive (Arma, DayZ) believes that only 1 percent of online players are willing to spend money to cheat on top of an already expensive hobby. Even by that estimate, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive alone had a potential 25,000 cheaters out of a total of 2.5 million unique players last month. Put on your green accountant visor, add up the player-bases of all the other popular multiplayer games cheat providers are servicing (Call of Duty, Battlefield, Rising Storm), and you’ll see a massively profitable market.I wanted to cheat in CS:GO. I was good, once, when I had a high school students endless free time to pour into Counter-Strike 1.3. These days, if I can play with friends, it’s fun. If I jump onto a random server I’m cannon fodder.I Googled “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive cheats,” and quickly ended up at a user-friendly cheat provider. Based on the size of its community and traffic, it’s one of the biggest. Im going to call it Ultra Cheats, a fake name, to protect the anonymity of the sources I talked to. Those sources, like Zero, have also had their online handles altered.csgo2Ultra Cheats didnt accept credit (other sites did), so I used PayPal to buy a one-month subscription for CS:GO cheats for $10.95. This gave me access to the site’s VIP forums where I could talk to other members, administrators, cheat coders, and download Ultra Cheats’ cheat loader, which checks in with its DRM server. It also gave me access to around-the-clock technical and customer support via TeamSpeak.I followed a simple list of steps, including disabling Windows’ default anti-virus protection. I launched a new copy of CS:GO on a fresh Steam account belonging to “Perry C. Gamble,” “loaded” the cheat using the cheat loader, and entered a match. For the first time, I wasnt just another player, but a kind of god.The most obvious of my new superhuman abilities was spying on other players through walls. In CS:GO, wallhacking is incredibly useful. Faceoffs around corners come down to millisecond reactions. My ability to see exactly when the enemy was coming, or to know exactly where he was hiding when I was coming, was unfair to say the least. It was also super fun. Maybe the most fun Ive had with Counter-Strike in years. I was finally getting kills, more than one in a round, but I wasnt crushing everyone else. It was like a little boost that got me back into my high school fighting shape.I wanted to see how far I could push it. I was paying for this. I wanted to feel powerful and get my money’s worth. Emanuel Maiberg at 08:00 on 30 April 2014« Previous123Rage cheaters and closet cheatersGibson said that if you cheat, you always get detected eventually. After talking to cheaters, I’m not sure that developers are as effective at preventing cheats as they think. According to Slayer, there are two kinds of cheaters: rage hackers and closet hackers. A rage hacker is someone who uses cheats to their fullest potential, even employing features that kill everyone on the server instantly. Theyre the ones you notice and hate.Zero said that if it wasnt for hacking, games wouldnt be fun. He said cheating is a rush, similar to the one he got when he used to deface websites. “In life, you’re always going to have rebels,” he said. “It’s like coming up to someone and asking, Why do you rape or kill? But in this case it’s cheating.”Since he compared cheating to the worst crimes a human can inflict on another human, I asked him if that means he thinks it’s a bad thing. He didnt answer. I asked him how he would feel if he was in a game with another player who was using cheats against him. “Doesnt matter to me because he’s probably one of our customers,” he said.Slayer agrees with Gibson that anti-cheats like VAC and Punkbuster, which work similarly to anti-virus software, are effective at catching ragers and detecting “public” cheats quickly. “But their methods are so reverse-engineered it’s not even funny,” he said. Punkbusters signature scans are easily dumped using public knowledge available on public forums. If you’re smart enough and you know the methods they employ, you can get around it easily. In life, you’re always going to have rebels. It’s like coming up to someone and asking, Why do you rape or kill? But in this case it’s cheating. “Punkbuster is basically defeated,” Slayer said. “If I write cheats and give them away on a public forum I can have my cheat up and running in 20 seconds because I found out exactly what they detected. If I was smart I would build that into my cheat and have my cheat fix itself on the fly, which isn’t a stretch. Call of Duty dropped Punkbuster for a reason.”I asked Slayer why Valve, for example, doesnt download his cheats, track the server, block it, and come after him. If it wasnt obvious already, I wasnt a Computer Science major. Slayer is, and my questions amused him. “You could do that, but what if I cycle my server IP every day, or every hour? Or I could reasonably and securely move DRM to the client with check on a less regular basis, or I could just spoof what VAC sees . To be honest Emanuel, I can rent a server using a prepaid credit card via a VPN in another country and you will NEVER find who rented it.”Closet hackers hide the fact that they cheat. Im proof that cheaters do get caught—Steam banned me after a little more than two hours of aggressive, blatant cheating—but members of the Ultra Cheats community told me that I was simply doing it wrong. In one of the most friendly, polite exchanges I’ve ever had with online strangers, especially in the gaming sphere, they gave me tips on how to cheat without being detected.“Play like you’re not hacking,” one user who’s been cheating in CS:GO with the same Steam account for over 250 hours told me. “Play as you would normally, only you’re able to see through walls. Act.”That means don’t stare at walls, don’t use an aimbot (since it moves the camera erratically and results in unreasonable kills), and make sure someone kills you in every match. He also believed you’re less likely to get banned if you buy in-game items and get some hours in before you start cheating. He suggested that next time, I should launch the game and let it idle for a few hours before I do anything.Another cheater suggested I practice cheating in free-to-play games. “That’s what I love about free games,” he said. “You can just keep coming back and there’s nothing they can do about it.”If you’re a good closet hacker you also won’t get caught by statistical anti-cheats like FairFight, used in Titanfall and other Electronic Arts games, or Overwatch, another, peer-review layer of CS:GO’s anti-cheat strategy, where approved players view flagged replay footage and vote on whether another player was cheating.battlefield-3-wall-hackImage via free-hacks.comTripwire closes loopholes as fast as possible, but Ultra Cheats is fast too. If a vendor’s cheat stops working, Ultra Cheats stops selling it and the money stops flowing. Detected cheats come back online within hours, days at the most. And these are only the cheats that we know about. “Anti-cheat can’t detect what it can’t get its hands on,” as Slayer said. Between that and the proficient closet cheaters, I can guarantee that you’ve played with way more cheaters than you think.Supply and demandIf closet cheaters arent trying to crush other players, why do they turn to cheats in the first place? Re: PC Gamer article on cheating

Counter-terrorists win?VAC bans are usually irreversible. Perry C. Gamble would never play another match of CS:GO unless he opened another Steam account and bought another copy of the game. That’s where the charm of cheating wore off for me. It was fun while it lasted, but I couldn’t imagine paying another $15 for a new copy of CS:GO plus the ongoing $10.95 a month Ultra Cheats membership just to get easy kills.John Gibson, president of Tripwire Interactive (Rising Storm, Killing Floor) told me plenty of cheaters feel differently. “We see a spike in hackers after we have a sale on one of our games,” he said. “Their last 10 Steam accounts have been banned, and the game is on sale for $3, so they’ll buy 10 copies for $30 on 10 different accounts and they’ll keep cheating.”I told Gibson that I found that behavior mind-boggling. He isn’t confused by it. He’s just angry. “Give me five minutes alone with a hacker or a hack writer,” he laughed. “That’s what I think about that mindset.”Newell called cheating “a negative-sum game, where a minority benefits less than the majority is harmed.” It’s obvious Valve and other developers take the issue seriously, but talking to Gibson made me realize it’s also personal. Before he would even talk to me, I had to prove that I wrote for PC Gamer. He’s been burned before. One of his first experiences with a hacker was someone who pretended to be a journalist with a fake, up-to-date gaming blog. He leveraged his early access to Tripwire and other developers’ games to provide hacks and pirate games. He’s in jail now—for stealing credit card data, not cheating.buycheatsGibson told me that, legally, it’s not worth going after sites like Ultra Cheats. Most of them are based out of Russia, China (Ultra Cheats is registered in Beijing), or other places where extradition is, in Gibsons words, “questionable.” At the very least, Tripwire would have to pay another lawyer in that country, making it prohibitively expensive and complicated.Criminal justice systems, perhaps understandably, arent preoccupied with people cheating in online games. “Especially when it’s international,” Gibson said. “Then you’re talking about the FBI and Interpol. If someone stole $10 million in diamonds, call them. If someone is hacking your game, they don’t care.”If Tripwire, Valve, or other developers want to reduce the number of cheaters, they have to do it themselves. Note that it’s “reduce” and not “eliminate.” Like Newell, Gibson knows that this isnt a battle he can finish. “It’s like the Wild West,” he said. “It’s more about managing the risk and hacks without inconveniencing your legitimate players too much.”Tripwire’s anti-cheat strategy is three-pronged. The first is technical, using both VAC and Punkbuster. This is one topic Gibson was secretive about, but he said Tripwire uses both because “they handle things in different ways.”If Tripwire, Valve, or other developers want to reduce the number of cheaters, they have to do it themselves. The second is being a proactive developer. When Tripwire notices a loophole, it closes it as fast as possible. When Red Orchestra 2 first launched, it didnt do a whole lot of server-side validation on hit detection. The game was plagued by hacks that allowed your machine to tell the server you shot someone in the head even when you were clear across the map. “Very quickly we put up an update that basically verified, within a reasonable margin of error, that they kind of have to be where you say you shoot them at,” Gibson said. “If they’re not, then we know that it’s a hack and we ignore that shot.”The third is having an engaged server admin community and giving them the tools to be the third line of defense. “That’s a huge thing for us,” Gibson said. “Hackers come in, it’s obvious fairly quickly that they’re hacking, the server admin bans them from the server and problem solved.”Punkbuster also allows server admins to take screenshots of what players see. If the server admin captures evidence of cheating, he or she can submit the proof to PBBans, a global database of hackers, making it very difficult for that hacker to join any Punkbuster servers. This also allows server admins to pass along evidence of cheating to Tripwire, which can use the information to close more loopholes.Overall, Gibson thinks this strategy works very well. “I have over 1,275 hours in Red Orchestra 2 and Rising Storm,” he said. “I’ve been on a server with about two hackers in all that time.” I asked him if Tripwire downloads paid cheats as part of its efforts to prevent them. “We’re a proactive dev,” he chuckled. “Infer from that what you will.”Gross IncomeAfter being banned from Counter-Strike, I spent several weeks poking around the Ultra Cheats forums hoping that someone would talk to me about how the site was managed. I only got real attention once I admitted that I was writing a piece for PC Gamer. I bounced from admin to admin until I got to Slayer, Ultra

Re: Swamp, zombie fps by Aprone

Swamp 3.3 has just gone live. Well, the main download is still uploading but at least the 3.2b to 3.3 patch is posted. Here is the, fairly large, change log:Changes from version 3.2b to version 3.3- The chat log now appends instead of overwriting. This means that each time you play Swamp it will add new chat to the log instead of completely replacing it with a new log.- Work has been done to improve See Munkey detection. Previously, any devices connected to COM port 17 or above were not being detected by Swamp. I believe I have solved that problem now.- For a couple of players, their local Sapi settings were causing errors in Swamp. I have added in new code to prevent such crashes from happening.- When setting your skills, the number of remaining points is spoken at the end of each description to help you keep track of how many you have left.- The skills have been reworked to solve a few issues brought up by
the players. The gun mastery skills have been raised, and the damage boost skills for individual guns have been removed. This saves players from having to specialize in specific weapons as they level up.- Each gun now has a skill to extend the magazine size, allowing you to hold more ammo in that gun. This is similar to how Big kit has worked on the field kit.- Fixed a bug that was affecting the damages for the M16 and the AK47. The melee bayonet damages for both guns was being incorrectly raised, while the ranged damage was being incorrectly lowered.- The burst fire mode for all weapons has been increased by 15% damage.- Sub map 1 (the second floor to the hospital) has been given a level requirement of 12. Previously this map had a map requirement of 8.- The XP and Reputation given by killing zombies has been reworked. As you progress through the maps, zombies give more XP and reputation. As a gene
ral rule... the higher the level requirement is for a map, the higher the rewards will be for killing zombies.- The boost to zombie health and damage (based on player level) have been lowered to 50% of the original amount. This means zombies do not grow as strong, as fast as they did in previous versions.- As you progress through the maps, zombies have more health and deal more damage. This now gives a clearer distinction between the lower and higher maps.- A lot of work has been done on improving the servers anti-cheating measures.- Warehouses have been reworked so that the lower level ones should be easier to complete. The zombies will have a much harder time breaking down the windows, doors, and fences, thus giving the players smaller swarms to deal with.- I have changed a lot of code surrounding foreign character support. It may be a bit bumpy at first as the old system tries to mesh with this latest one, but in the end
is will make things smoother for players trying to use foreign letters in their character names.- A new skill has been added. Quick learner increases the amount of XP you get from killing zombies.- A new skill has been added. Legendary increases the amount of reputation you get from killing zombies.- Melee weapons can now do critical strikes, which deal additional bonus damage based on luck. Two new skills (Brawler and Melee critical) have been added to take advantage of this new ability. Brawler gives you a chance to inflict critical damage, while Melee critical raises the amount of damage that will be.- Archery weapons can now do critical strikes, which deal additional bonus damage based on luck. Two new skills (Hood and Archery critical) have been added to take advantage of this new ability. Hood gives you a chance to inflict critical damage, while Archery critical raises the amount of damage that will be.- The sk
ill Sniper training has been changed. Instead of raising the damage of the M40, the skill now provides bonus XP and reputation for each kill made with this weapon.- The Grenade launcher skill has been replaced. The new skill, Trash diver, gives a chance to grant additional food whenever you find food as a hardcore player.- 2 new pistols have been added to the game. The Detonics Combat Master, and the MK23. These guns can only be found by players with at least the title of Private (Detonics Combat Master is on map 1 while MK23 is on map 2). These pistols reward extremely accurate shots with a significant damage boost.- The drop rate for Diesel fuel has been doubled. Recent changes had unintentionally lowered the drop rate.- The odds of getting a sprained ankle or broken leg on the sub maps has been increased. These had also been unintentionally lowered.- 2 new shotguns have been added to the game. The SPAS1
2, and the Armsel Striker. These guns can only be found by players with at least the title of Private (SPAS12 is on sub 1 while Armsel Striker is on map 3). These shotguns reward extremely accurate shots with a significant damage boost.- The skill 19 extended now also helps the new Detonics Combat Master pistol, in addition to

Hi brad, thats great. I lived in colidge for six years when I started university which was similarly to living on my own accept some things were done for me, then in 2007 I moved out and got my flat (actually a counsel flat but in a nice area), where I am now which Ill likely be keeping perminantly. Though I still do visit my parents fairly often I cant visualize myself living with them again full time. actually i love having my own place, decorating it myself and working to my own rules.1: well when you say meets what exactly do you mean? it all depends upon what your cooking exactly. If your doing say something you can throw in the oven like some breaded chicken kievs or battered fish its usually just over 20 minutes on 220 degrees, if your using a grille such as a george forman it depends upon the thickness, burgers Ill do for about 7 minutes, while bacon only needs around 5. Im not sure how a barcode scanner would he
lp you identify cooking times even if it could tell you what things are. Ultimately the best method of telling when something is done is to physically poke it with a fork, if it feels raw and rubbery its not done yet.2: direct debbit is indeed useful for bills and how I pay mine, but be careful to keep track exactly of what is going out and coming in so that you insure there is money to pay. I personally do this by physically talking to my bank, because I dont want to waid through a braille statement, nor do I really want my bank details online for security and Loyds dont have talking bank machines yet, but Id suggest always having a way to instantly keep track of it sinse the last thing you want to do is winding up with an over draught. I would also recommend having at least someone check your post occasionally even if it is once every few months sinse sometimes weerd stuff can happen especially with gas or electric bills. For example la
st year my gas company wrote to inform me that even though Id used less gas than expected and they actually owed me! money, they were putting my bill rate up. I phoned them and fixed this but it wouldve been bad had I not known. Some bills such as phone bills you can of course check online or by E-mailed statements, but most you cant.3: To be honest there is no blindy equipment as you put it that are absolute necessities for cooking, but there are various devices which I would recommend. A microwave has its uses, and while some blind people live entirely out of a microwave, its actually very handy for certain things albeit there is no need to use one all the time or shy off cooking something else just because you cant do it in the mike. I happen to have a talking microwave myself but this I only got because a blind neighbor left it me in his will, its no where near necessary to have one, though manifestly you will need one that you ca
n operate yourself (some microwaves have entirely inaccessible buttons). You will also need some sort of exact timer (I currently use the one on the talking mike but more becahse its there). Various programs are around to do this such as dark timer from 7-128 software or Aprones timer program. The microwave is handy for things like baked beans, vegitables, you can also buy microwave rice which is useful if your making a chilly or something like that rather than tangling with pans of boiling water on the hob. I would highly recommend getting a pair of absolutely propper chefs oven gloves. Not those silly mits that have no finger holes, nor yet those even sillier strip things. You can actually buy propper chefs oven gloves that are literally a pair of gloves made out of kevlar. These are absolutely heat proof, and because they have fingers dont remove too much dexterity. With these its possible to put anything in the oven with no worrie
s and use the hob occasionally as well. heck, with these on I can physically check the position of the pan on the hob by putting my hand on the ring and feeling it, albeit the only thing I tend to make on the hob is pasta. I would also highly recommend the george forman grille. Not only is this great for most sorts of grilled meet product, but its a lot safer and you can have complete control over it. Lastly, according to your preferences for food I would recommend a slow cooker aka a crock pot. This is like a huge stew pan in a hot insert. You can throw in all the ingredience while cold and then leave for about 6 hours. It actually does a really awsome curry, chilly or bolignaise, and isnt bad at roasting stuff either. Ready prepared vedge can be very helpful, sinse one of the problems of lacking vision is efficiently pealing and removing insects from vedge, so that helps a lot. I would also recommend not shying off using cook in sources or ready me
als occasionally either though be careful where you buy these sinse they can vary in quality hugely (tescos ready meals are down right nasty, marks and spensors are lovely, indeed I sometimes buy myself some of marks

Re: Diget eyes.

It sounds like a good idea from your description of what it is supposed to do, but Im obviously less inclined to try it if what you report is true. i will say that I dont believe bacon has! cooking instructions on the packet, sinse its one of these things that is just sort of generic to do, throw on grille or pan or whatever, (I would recommend five minutes on the george forman but I already talked about tthat in your other topic), however if the program cant identify the bacon originally that is less good. What exactly is tap tap C. Ive heard of it before, but am not sure what it does precisely. an identifyer for packets of food would be a useful thing, up to now Ive just used logic, my remaining vision, good organization of my kitchin and actually knowing what stuff I bought, but of course having a more precise method not relying on extra effort would be a better way around.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174074#p174074

Thanks Tony, and my apologies to anyone who suffers tomorrow as a result of your lack of sleep at work. Hehe! A handful of people grabbed a copy of the 3.3 patch before everything was finished, so if you find that you cannot connect to the server try grabbing that patch again. This happened during the last patch as well, so I should probably stop announcing the new versions before the files are 100% finished uploading. Yippee! So I suppose its good that I didnt change Fyquest to use the Shootout Zone in that one ending.I suppose the new Headshot weapons give me a reason to shoot for the titles, now. I suppose that if I say I suppose enough, something magical will happen.Yeah, I think Fyquest could use an update. URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174079#p174079

Re: Have you ever wanted to play the tank minigame from wii play?

Hello,@Alec what matters is not the tanks position mostly if you odnt want to target them. Dont fire blindly because that will get you nowhere. You have to listen for the incoming pellets and when you have a window, fire towards the tanks.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174080#p174080

Re: [Audiogames-reflector] Is audiogames.net audioguys.net?

2014-05-04 Thread AudioGames.net Forum — Off-topic room: Dark

Re: Is audiogames.net audioguys.net?

I agree on socialization Cinnamon and what toys children are given, though equally it seems to depend upon conservative background, for example I grew up with a fairly liberal outlook, was never discouraged from anything because I was male or encouraged to be interested in say sport because it was appropriate for a man, indeed I remember being five and my dad patiently explaining that he was male, and wasnt a doctor but a nurse.I dont think however your correct about the social aspect being the key similarity between the hard core and casual groups of female gamersMost of the hard core female gamers Ive met play single player rpgs rather than multiplayer ones, indeed the ladies I know who tend to be interested in social gaming prefer (as I do), to roleplay in real time with a human gm off the computer rather than playing games like World of warcraft etc. Also, fps games these days tend to be social, indeed a friend of mine was recently c
omplaining that hed bought the new titan assault game (an fps with giant mechs), for his Xbox, and resented the fact that there was no single player mode. Most fps games these days like team fortress tend to actually be online community affairs with player vs player or in some cases cooperative gameplay, much as swamp and road to rage have. That is why I rather suspect the difference in fps is the purely social aspect of the shooting than anything else, sinse while Ive met women who shoot real guns for sport, Ive not met women who would have the necessary casual interest in guns to play a lot of sort of casual low key fps games. Then again, I probably dont have that interest myself and wouldnt play a game just because of it having a theme of guns or military significance if I didnt think it had some interesting mechanics, though interestingly enough I have met a lot of women who enjoy horror as a genre and play games like resident evil for
that reason, indeed it was chiefly the atmosphere that attracted me to shades of doom in the first place so I do understand this attitude which might also explain the large number of ladies playing swamp. On technology illiminating stereotypes, well your probably correct as far as women are concerned sinse though the term tom boy still exists in literature Ive never heard it used as a pejorative in reality, although I dont doubt there are some conservative institutions, environments and individuals where it still would be. Of course for men this is another story, sinse in a lot of ways men are far more limited in behaviour and outlook. As regards to whether the audio gaming community is less gender sterreotyped Im not sure. One thing Ive noticed is that the more cleaque orientated, institutionalized blind people tend to have more serious gender biases, likely because at least some of the specialist institutions do. Certainly my specialist sc
hool did, despite the fact that with only 32 pupils in the entire school if you only talked to boys your own age for example youd pretty much be limiting yourself to about two other people, meaning I at least and certainly a couple of the other boys interacted fairly freely with the girls, something which actually got me into trouble on at least one occasion (bare in mind this was a junior school and I was 8-10 at the time). I have also noticed however that that sort of blind person is highly unlikely to play audio games. I suspect therefore it isnt so much that the Vi gaming community is less gender biased so much as the less gender biased blind people tend to be the ones who play games.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=174081#p174081
