Ive just started messing around with Clok the last few days and I am impressed. Ive mostly been trying to just earn some money but Im impressed by the breadth of crafting options and the way theyre implemented.If anyone wants to give it a go Id say the best way to earn money early on is without a doubt foraging, you can sell container to sell all the commodities in a given container but note youll have to remove it if youre wearing it. Ive done a lot of logging and the payout is nice and it gives you plenty of material to work on your woodworking with though it is a little slow, I find I need to build a campfire near the tree in order to stop myself freezing while I strip the branches, and the payout from hunting at low skill seems particularly low. Most of the pelts I get from skinning are terrible quality which no one will buy, Ive only had about two that were sellable, and the meat doesnt tend to go for much. At
  least it raises your weapon and skinning skills though which is what Im currently using it for.

Spoiler alert for FlatlineI agree the Doctor didnt feel incompetent like he has done sometimes, I just felt a little bit like he was sidelined. Aside from some amusing jokes early on the whole Clara pretends to be the doctor thing just seemed kinda meh to me, especially when the Doctor was taken out of the equation for a while. That said it is a long way from the worst this series has seen and like you said if all the episodes were of the standard of orient express or thereabouts Flatline would have been a decent enough episode to mix in, or even if the series was mainly at the standard of Flatline with a few episodes of Orient Express standard mixed in.And yes, Danny Pink is a pudding brain. Ive felt that most of the time to be honest but then I have fondness for neither PE nor maths teachers, especially since my secondary school maths teacher was primarily a PE teacher.

Or just ask around, it has about 30 50? members and one of them should be able to send you a invite.Keep in mind though, the folder is a little, ehh. messy slash unorganized what you will. Possible orient express spoilage ahoy!Well I personally never had much against Pe or maths teachers, with Danny though I really dont get this not being in the Tardis thing, and this business of Clara supposedly lying to him about it. With Micky Smith in the first series with the 9th doctor it was pretty obvious why he wasnt travelling with the Doctor and that he didnt particularly want to either, indeed it took Sarah Jane turning up and improving him as a character to change this. With Danny though, apart from the fact he never seems to deserve the way Clara treats him, it just feels like there is no reason he isnt travelling in the tardis, indeed if I were Clara my first suggestion would be that he did! travel with the Doctor to try and sort out his problem with whatever he supposedly did in the army, and dont tell me its all because the Doctor doesnt like soldiers sinse Clara planely thinks the doctor is an idiot most of the time 
 and wouldnt mind overruling him, (and the Doctor Doesnt like soldiers thing is so stupid anyway). I have seen episodes without the Doctor before and they usually work. Turn left, which had no doctor, Blink, which didnt even have the assistant, Love and monsters which most who fans hate but I thought had some nice points which didnt have either the doctor or the assistant. Heck, there is an audio called Death in the famly in which the doctor literally dies and the episode follows Hex and Ace sorting things out and eventually getting the Doctor back, which doesnt feature him at all. The problem with flatline is that that sort of episode only works as a break when were used to the Doctor turning up and saving the day and are wondering about how the assistant will do it. The problem is pre orient express the Doctor was made out to be so inneffective, and Clara so awsome Flatline just didnt have the impact it shoul
 dve done, sinse how is Clara saving the day in the doctors absense so different from Clara saving the day in the face of the Doctors idiocy? I dont think Matheson is doing anything else this season, which is a shame sinse both of his episodes were the best of the twealth doctor thus far, heck if most of the series were the quality of orient epress I might even believe the twelth doctor exists . So well see what next week brings, and Im sure stewart will have some fun comments about Clara on Flatline.

@Nio, interesting thoughts, and I agree about the crash and the shortsighted nature of capitalism. That being said, I disagree either that society as a hole can decide something, sinse generally speaking very few people in the world have very little power, and wed need to be living in a very different type of society for that to change. In the end, though the illusion of emocracy makes us believe we have a stake in which particularly loud person makes the laws, the impact of those laws can only go so far. This is why I personally see greater governmental control over corporate interest as the only way to progress in the future, though unfortunately sinse the governments of the world (especally the wstern world), are bound to the idea of economic progress which inherently is based on the total subjugation of the individual good in favour of prophet, that probably wont happen unless there is a major crash and the governments need to be taking control o
 ver corporate interest. I also am not certain that we can say everyone is self interested, or even a proportion are, just as we cant say everyone is inherently altruistic, both are true. Everyone is both at different points and towards ifferent people. Bill Gates, for all that his company pays its workers so little for hours of work is bent on irradicating aides. I personally am coming to the conclusion that it is the collective which is the problem, the system, the inherent way of doing things. That when people give their lives and work to the company or the nation, or the organization, or the gang,  without actually considering who or what the people involved with that collective are or what that collective is really doing. The good of the many has become so difuse that it is beyond any individual, which is just another source of alionation. People are nothing but numbers on a balance sheet or a votin
 g count or a social media set. Its quite depressing really.

I do intend to buy and play all the games in the end, because I enjoy them, but it seems silly to go and buy games until I want to play them, though I might regret this if any get taken down from the ap storee in the future. Zombie exodus was awsome, and I intend to replay in the future, i also enjoyed choice of the star captain even if I didnt think the setting was as good as mecha ace, the banter between you and your ships ai was particularly entertaining.

Hi.I have strange error. When i tried to browse shops  stores on www.alteraeon.com:8080 after check 2 or 3 things my internet browser tell that it cant connect to server and i cant connect to mud via Mush-z. After an hour or two server start responding and i can play but if i starting to explore shops via www situation repeats. What is this meaning?Im sorry for my english.

I would not recommend you use that since you have to include the XML file in the main program directory, and another person who knows XML can modify the dialog if they want, although they cant modify the internal code of the program.

Im also having a problem where I cant access most flash objects through firefox. Ive got flash installed, yet internet explorer works most of the time, yet FF doesnt seem to with NVDA. any ideas? I dont really want to have to switch from NVDA/ff to explorer and jaws every time I want to view a video or something.

XCode on iOS would suck. A lot. Forgetting the fact that its a tiny screen, compilation times would both be insanely long and kill the battery. It would suck slightly less for us, but most sighted people and probably all of the serious devs would still fall back to a computer. In all honesty, iOS probably doesnt even have the ram for compiling large programs anyway.As for XCode-its not required, just none of the other options are free. Ruby motion comes to mind; it creates the project for you via command line tools, launches the project for you via command line tools, and generally does everything with command line tools. Those of us in this community are in a demographic with less money, so the up-front cost of getting a Mac (100% required, not optional) is high.But think about it. iOS is not aimed at new programmers, iOS is aimed at serious programmers. If youre sighted and willing to pay the cos
 ts, then you can learn on it. If youre blind, you need to come to it later anyway. You have no command prompt and have to jump straight into the GUI and callback-based programming from day one. Apple deciding that you can use Windows would not lead to significantly more apps in any case, and all of the phones will be hard to impossible for new blind programmers to develop on. Id say that by the time youre not asking your programming questions on these forums because no one can answer them here, youre going to google first and be successful with finding what you want in 90% of cases, and you especially dont need to ask this question, youll be ready to try.

This whole nothing can be modified philosophy I see around here is probably one of the causes that lead to why so many people have trouble. Unless the code is proprietary and youre charging, let people modify it away.But seriously, if youre not charging Im not sure why its closed-source anyway-this community is good at that. You cant have my super-secret 50 lines of really basic code that Im never going to make money with. I dont understand this mentality of locking everything down around here, I really dont.

Hi,So with all the popularity of python around these boards of late, I checked it out. I tried some getting started with python books, didnt work really. Guess I learn better from the reference manuals for some reason. Lol. Anyway, so I was wondering..what do I need to make an audiogame? I got pyglet, but ive heard pyglet doesnt have much of a comunity really, so I could be stranded on questions. Also, someone recommended box2d, which is a physics library from what I can gather. It will probably help me out in 2d games, but for a side scroller im unsure if I need it. Any thoughts? should I use pyglet? pygame?

Ah yes, all the people that encrypt their sounds, which more often then not were stolen from other places, but no, its their sounds and no one else must have them.Anyway, if you absolutely want to encrypt your dialogs, The dialog library can load the layout XML from memory. So you can use PBs built in XML functions to create your interface in code and, then load that into the dialog library and display the interface.

Some people might remember that last year, somethinelse, makers of the popular papa sangre and various other audio nasties for Ios promised us a new arcade action game involving slaying of an endless hoard of zombies in something of a killing game show. Welll, appropriately enough, this project seems to still be alive, (or at least its not stopped moving and is coming to eat your brain), and will shortly be lurching onto your Iphones. You can Read the announcement here in full. The game sounds definitely interesting, with game center achievements, currency and a fast action feel complete with missions as you blow away the zombie hoards dispatched by the evil scientist in charge whos name is Doctor Bastard. No, Im not making this up, that is his name, (and weve said it now), 
 apparently a sadistic bastard who takes pleasure in sending bastardized copies of undead bastards after hwichever poor bastard hes captured as part of his dastardly plan! he must be one dastardly bastard!Oh, and I appologise to everyone for the above profanity and bad language, however I unfortunately cannot talk about the game without it, so please accept my abject appologies for subjecting you to such filthiness, Im one sorry bastard!

Im not so much talking about sounds here. I understand the case of sounds, sort of, though even there theres the creative commons attribution share-alike. In the case of sounds, they may or probably arent mine to share in the first place.But code I write thats never going to build my commercial empire, why not? Even Libaudioverse--which will be commercial--is open source. So thats not even quite an excuse for some things. We have many, many threads about how to program x or how the math for y works, and yet no one thinks about just using Github for their project and putting it up under BSD or MIT or something. If its a library and you want to sell, so long as you follow some basic rules, you can release a free version under the GPL-this means open source for open source projects, basically.But in this case, yeah-you cant even touch the program logic, so why in the world does it matter? 
 And if you really, really care, so long as the language in question lets you use XML from a string, you can just encrypt the file anyway.

I have a few characters on Clok. My most recent was infested and had to do some interesting things to be somewhat cured. Sound interesting? Oh, It is! The interaction between players, the events the GMs come up with, the game atmosphere,...you really cant get bored easily! Ive played since about this time last year, and I have brought several people into the game with me. It is my favorite, and Ive tried several MUDs. If you have a char, look me up! If not, create one! You wont regret it. just look for Dianne or Boriguard. As for my others, ask in PM if you want to know.

Looking at the docs, Pyglet has much, much easier audio. Pyglet may have harder input, but the actual capabilities it gives you vs. creating your own look much more advanced. Pyglet would have saved me about a week of work when I did i3d (I need to do something with i3d besides let it languish on my hard drive...). Pygame will work just as well, but theres tradeoffs. In the case of Pyglets community I cant comment, save this: even a library with a small community will likely be a much larger community than the entirety of this forum.As for Box2d, you probably dont want it yet. I have considered using it for a side scroller, but there would be issues; in that case, a 2d array is probably what you want. For the case of a first-person game, Box2d is exactly the thing for the project. Theres also ODE, but ODE is more complicated and you dont get too much extra from it.As for 2D arrays
  in Python, consider looking at dictionaries wherein the keys are tuples (x, y) and the values are tile instances. For extra bonus points, see collections.defaultdict which would let you set the default tile--say, the instant death square--for when the levels boundaries are exceeded. Also keep in mind that for x in y tests sets and dicts are O(1) versus O(n) for lists and other list-like things (i.e. a list takes 5 million operations for 5 million items, a dict or a set takes something very, very close to one. How to read big o notation is way beyond what we want to go into here, but you should at least be familiar with it).See also: pickle, sqlalchemy (advanced pickling, has some advantages), requests (connect to HTTp servers, i.e. twitter-but Twitter has dedicated packages), py2exe (obvious),, numpy (not so much for games, but very very useful for doing stuff with big arrays of numbers).And the advanced ones: Twisted (networking, goo
 d for games, screws with your head at first but better than gevent and other green threads libraries), django (build http web servers, if nothing else good for auto-updating), gameobjects (contains a lot of 3D math stuff which is fun to experiment with), Pyode (ODE bindings to Python), setuptools (making your own python packages)And the essential package: accessible_output2. Note that accessible_output is not maintained.And the place to get tons and tons of pre-built packages for windows (bookmark this, really): http://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/Finally, you will want to Google and install pip. Python 3 now comes with it, and I believe Python 2.7.8 also does. Its what everyones moved to-with pip installed, many, many packages are just pip install foobar. You may also need this download from Microsoft in the near future.

ive finished all campaigns of re6 on ps3. and, yeah, there are some umplayable parts, but this is not one of them.you can find the key, only problem is that you need to walk pressing x on that room. a Word of advice. the key is where you can hear the tv. only a few meters back. if you can hear the news, just walk around pressing x and youll find the key.

Otherwise, thats the status of things.If youre wondering why Ive been holding out on an update, Ive been trying to make it so that you can access the parts naturally with no artificial barriers, outside of an event not being there yet. For example, last release, the police officer didnt leave in front of that building, to prevent progression (which wasnt there yet). A lot of the following area is interconnected so its not very easy to find a good place to make a stop for a release.

Well, its only extra hard for us. A sighted person can just drag and drop and be on their way. And windows isnt that bad, anyway. There isnt anything easier to program for; there also isnt anything harder to program for. By the time youd actually be ready to make an app thats worth the cost, youll find youre writing about the same amount of code. In this case, its simply that OS X accessibility for programmers is lame and that you have to write UI by hand instead of via the blessed methods.

Hi Guitarman. I disagree with Grryf here. I personaly read them all in the order Hobbs intended, and am glad I did so. The order is the farseer trilogy, ie assassins apprentice, royal assassin and then assassins quest. Then the liveship traders, that is ship of magic, the mad ship, and ship of destiny. Then the three Taunyman books, that is fools errand, the golden fool, and fools fate. Then there are the rainwild chronicles series, Dragon keeper, Dragon haven, city of dragons, and blood of dragons. Then finally hobb has started another series (I believe its a trilogy though am not sure), with Fools assassin. I read the farseer Assassin books first that begin with Fitz as a child. These were very good, albeit pretty grim. The liveship books I read later, but though they dont feature fitz they are set in the same world and continue the plot, and there are various hints back to Farseer, though it would proba
 bly be possible to read them alone, albiet they do shed some light on the ending to Farseer. Liveship was my favourite series thus far I think, sinse it had several characters not just fitz, very unique stories and a highly interesting setting being themed around sea faring with pirates, trading, and even sea serpents. I then most recently read the Taunyman books which took up with Fitz again about 15 years after the end of Farseer. Im glad I did read liveship there, sinse the connections between liveship and taumyman were far more serious than those between farseer and liveship, in particular one very major event that is part of the conclusion of liveships plays a huge part in Taunyman, and needless to say Taunyman would be impossible to read without knowing the events of farseer. Ive not started Rainwilds yet, apparently it is set in the same part of the world as Liveships and has connections back to that series more than Taunyman, though after Taun
 yman I wanted a slight break, indeed I give Hobb creddit for telling specific stories in a complete world rather than just rambling on forever, so that you get to distinct stopping points and something conclusive, albeit its nice to go back and revisit the consequences. However where as Sansa I wanted to repeatedly hit (really the way she treats Tyrion is vile), Molta in Liveship changes, grows, comes to some major realizations and turned from a character I found a total annoyance, to someone I was actively cheering to succeed, someone who took control over her own destiny,  and no, she didnt do this by becoming an awsome sword fighter or magician or something, she just did so by changing her outlook and being willing to learn from how she dealt with others. Much credit to Hobb for that, and just another reason why I really enjoyed Liveships. Hobbs other books were still fantastic, but Liveships is imho the best thus far. This has nothing to do with Fitz, I just really thought Liveships was well done, plus Pirates are cool! .

Hello guys,LOL only found this topic like, a few days ago? Anyways, I had a few problems here and there considering my char, Kenzon:1. I keep failing to cast spells even when their spell knowledge is at perfect, and I didnt wear any negative castability eq... Any hints why this happens?2. I dont know where to get good exp. Vikings give too less exp on my levels imo, but some other places would have mobs that will wipe me out fairly quickly... I dont know where to go for exp runs, and I really want to level quickly! Also, I think the quicksand thingy on Vikings is too dangerous. Maybe just maybe, can you lower his HP or make it not aggro, Dentin? LOL I was with a group with 3 or so members, even an lv36 guy, but we need about 5 minutes to kill it even with 6 skeletons! But then again, it is a fame mob...3. Equipment: I just cant seem to find much eq that had magecast and manaregen on it. I also cant seem to manage eqsets so well
 , and my equipments are just soo messy...4. Unfinished quests: is it OK if I went back to Sloe or Kordan at high levels to complete unfinished quests just for the sake of it? LOL.5. Not enough practices... I often find myself going out of practice. I just hope that the welcome gifts would give practices more often... Or something.So, any hints for all these problems I have? LOL I only managed to get about 6 magecast or so, and my regen just sucks... Heh. Please, anyone please give some hints.

Its not a game, moral mike was the name of a developers site back in around 2004 or so. He had an accessible orthello game but not much else I think, though I dont know if that is still around.

Hi André.Its been a while sinse I played the demo but Ill try and answer. The  buzzer means you got several combinations wrong. Get too many wrong and you lose, get a perfect score and youll be told so.I encountered no problem with the keys, however if you dont hit them in rythm you wont get your hero saying punch or whatever, and will just hear nothing, and that combination will count as wrong.As to the robots, I dont remember them requiring anything special other than hitting the keys in time like everyone else in the game, though i do remember the timings got quite interesting. Unfortunately there isnt a new version of the game. last I heard the developer hadnt abandoned the idea and was even considering something for Ios, but had personal and family things on hand so didnt know where or how the project was going, it has been a while now I admit, but I wouldnt counthe developer out just yet as in the past developers have occasionally surprised with a new version late after the first.

Hi Phil. I got this mail and wrote some news, but thanks for the info. Im looking forward to trying the game, but Im a little worried at that just point and shoot idea, sinse that makes the game sound basicallyjust like a more advanced version of 6th sense. I was hoping for papa style movement in a closed arena and a full audio remake of something like Smash Tv or robotron, not just more targit the audio and react. then again, Ill reserve judgement until Ive played the thing.

Hi,In the read me file for battle zone it says that after 2 points you get the cheats. I know this is true because on my old computer this was the case. However, I am well over 2 points and I have yet to get the cheats again. Can someone either help with this or send me the cheats? Thanks.
