I cant be sure since noone else felt this. But Im quite sure when I pray (I mean read the mantras and all that stuff), I feel my chi gathers at one spot before expanding around me sorta.

For waking up the pokemon in front of route 12 (I think its Snorelax), use the pokeflute. I dunno whether its implemented yet though.Uhm you dont need to withdraw any pokemon before depositing... its just that you need to deposit before withdrawing if you have a full party because you can only have 6 in your party. At least, if I understand your question correctly.

How to install it? In my real pc when I tried Windows 10 before crashing, I pressed Windows+u to launch narrator, and when it reported not useful information, I just got bord and shut down the pc and it crashed. So doesnt it need to launch the narrator? I checked the sound card and its connected.

I had my earphone put on, and Jaws was speaking as loud as I could hear it well. There was nothing to do with sounds or air.Another thing I experience everyday, is when getting closer and closer the walls or large objects like houses or buildings, I can feel a blocked space. It feels like something is in front of my face, don’t know weather there’s any “Special cells” (sorry for the bad description) on my face. I try to prevent my ears from hearing by blocking both with my hands or by putting on headphones and listening to music, and I experience that feeling again. I go close to the door and do this. Yeah I tried it last night when this topic was posted. I felt the door or an object near my face I even walked around the house, and I could feel walls. I can’t say I saw them. I was not born blind. I fell on an accident when I was just one year and a half. Exactly it was 1997.As about spirits, I don’t know weather I ever felt a spirit in my room, or somebody else was in the same room when I was alone there. Anyway, One night while I suddenly woke up, I heard like someone was running on my corridor, drawers being opened and closed quickly, doors as well. I’m sure about what I’m saying. I heard everything. I’m not crazy. To prove I was awake, I tried moving my hands, get up from the bed, and once I opened my room’s door, everything became calm. So I was hearing it, right?

Couple of points, and one question for aprone.Point 1, dieing is never a good thing, this is perhaps the sillyest statement Ive ever heard made concerning swamp. lol MM youre a piece of work, and no mistake. Not that thats a bad thing I just cant understand youre way of thinking on this.IMO, you only die for a couple of reasons. One is if there is a connection problem and youre getting swarmed at the time and you get owned before you can reconnect and get the hell outta there.Second reason for dieing is, youve used poor judgement and you now find yourself in a situation you should have either run from, or should have opened up with the correct weapon to take the zombies down Before they killed you. Obviously, and again, this is just my opinion, but if you check all of my chars death totals, I don
 39;t die much at all.And in any case, since I just busted my ass finding all of the weapons I love, and all the armor I need to keep me alive... Why would I want to go and lose all that and have to refind them all over again?If swamp is that dull that refinding your stuff back again is fun, you need a new game to play. lolPoint 2. And this is directed to folks who think that certain weapons and or armor should be used in a certain way.As far as play style. If the weapons and ammo and armor and such are part of the game, who cares how I choose to get my xp that I need to level. If, leveling is what youre into. A lot of folks just use swamp for a social thang, which is cool, but dont try and force people to play the way you think they should. If I like to use a shield and mega medkits to get my brand of xp, there should be nothing wrong with that as long as Im not cheating, or abusing a bug or loophole. Make sense?Thats all I have

this is a very interesting discussion and I will add my oppinions too. first I have to say that I had quite a few out of body experiences, Ive learned how to induce them. i always feel chi when i meditate, usually after 5 or 10 minutes my whole body begins vibrating like a river of energy is flowing through me. this is a very intense sensation and its nothing that can be explained through science. i do think that chi exists and Ive proven it to myself and thats enough for me. Ive never tried to control this energy but you just gave me something new to try next time when i will meditate. also Im interested in what techniques do you guys use for meditating and controlling chi? I also think that what afrim is talking about is echolocation. because i can do that too and i know what Im talking about. afrim this can actually be improved by making a special click sound with your tongue, this will help you to identify more accurately t
 he shape and the height of an object. sometimes i can even identify the composition of an object by how the sound reflects of it.

This is all just information that is being leaked from the beta, so take it with a pinch of salt, these features may not actually see release.However in addition to the remapping option that has been doing the rounds of kotaku/reddit/twitter the past couple of days, the full proposed accessibility menu has now been shared by one of the people on the beta. Hinow that Im back at my main system, its time to be lots more active on here. First things first:I dont exactly remember the name of the person who sent very detailed instructions for the mount moon thingy (and maybe I did thank that person in a previous poast, but...) it was realy awsom and helpful. At The Imaginatrix: how exactly are you breeding Evis? Obviously youd have to have one of them for every sex (male and female), but other than the GameCorner I dont see where youd get one so easy. To confirm a bug: (or at least I think its one)Make sure you have more than 1 mon before going to the computer in any center. Deposit one, and leave the computer. Come back to the computer and youll discover that you cannot deposit anything, so you need to redraw mon until your party is full, after wich you can deposit again. If I follow the game music files structure, Im pretty sure I can recut them and make them fit in perfectly. I also have the music files for 
 the red remake, wich (if they would be included in the game too) could give people the opportunity to have the music they like best. Im holding off the music cutting till I get any feetback of one sort or the other... In the meantime, Im going to catch up on some things I kind of left in the dust...

Rob, a guy on the pyglet list is doing something with AVbin to make it more friendly.But I need something I can hand out to everyone on every platform that doesnt need them to do anything but run my game. AVbin currently requires them to install a 3rd party piece of software. Unacceptable in my standard. Because something will happen (like it did with my computer) where even after installing each binary for windows, I still got no sound from pyglet.So that is your base screen. Everything thats actually worth using does the WXPython main loop. Its called the event loop, and youll probably end up just duplicating it yourself. Twisted, Pyglet, lots of stuff. The fact that Pygame doesnt has always baffled me as getting that right is actually not as simple as it looks. You can get a basic one working, but you cant get it doing all the power saving stuff and with precise timing and all that like they do so easily. WX doesnt have a choice though. Their main loop is so complicated (and has to be) that youd never really be able to duplicate it.As for cross-platform accessibility, you cant. It cant be done. This has to be done on a per-platform basis. There is no choice. I wouldnt hold your breath on Kivy, and Kivy is, as you said, decidedly not simple. Im going to probably have to go over there now.As for Libaudioverse?&
 nbsp; Well, yeah, I do want to make money. But I still maintain: Pygame for sound, something else for, well, everything else. Or just use the avbin hack.Do note: you can almost certainly get the Pyglet and WX event loops going in the same app. Im about to try this; it doesnt look overly hard. The Pyglet guide tells you how to make your own Pyglet event loop function, and the WX event loop does have support to call stuff every so often. This lets you have the game-oriented Pyglet event handling for game stuff and the WX widget-oriented event handling for the WX stuff.Dont use decorators. Make people subclass your screens. This is simple, programming language agnostic, and pretty standard. Also, yes, you do want to break it into functions. Your idea of actions as things that happen every tick is kind of off: a key may be pressed at any time, for example. Whether the engine makes it part of the ti
 ck is beside the point; it shouldnt be conceptually exposed that way. Make a base class, give it empty event handlers: on_key_down, on_key_up, on_mouse_move, on_tick. Those should be sufficient and should take different arguments depending on what theyre for. The action fo jumping should happen through setting the is_jumping flag or the jump_next_tick flag, not through having tick read controls directly. The latter does not allow for control remapping or platform-neutral anything, really.You probably wont win me to your engine, but you probably arent expecting to. My personal effort is already at the point where Im putting in generic object editors which allow one to, well, edit objects. Its decidedly not basic, but its looking like its going to end up being more powerful than I expected going in, which is actually really nice if true. I suppose that part of this is that I dont care
  so much about making it super friendly to new programmers, I care about making it powerful enough you could write online games and Shades of Doom clones with it pretty easily. This does mean adding complexity at the beginning; theres no really good trade-off here, and Im far enough along that its not worth cutting out complexity if that means cutting out capabilities or making the code ultimately harder to deal with for gains at the beginning.

I think having 2 systems is a little much in one game, but I may consider doing WXPython and something else.Having native edit boxes and menus would be very very very awesome.I am not 100% sure what you mean by having an empty bass class with empty functions.Are you saying have a keyconfig.ini with something like:jump:spaceThen make jump a class that will get all space events?So when space is pressed, the keydown will be sent to jump if the screen with jump is up and within the jump class there is the keydown method with the stuff you do when it happens.Then within each screen class there will be a list of objects and each of those event objects will have their own entry in the keyconfig class like jump. If their key is pressed, then that event will fire.Is this what you are saying? Basically have a keyconfig.ini for every program?I guess a keyconfig could have something like:menu_up:upmenu_down:downwal
 k_forward:upwalk_back:downI could see this becoming potentially long though.Am I understanding you?Have you considered splitting libaudioverse into a basic audio engine like what pygame has, that way people could easily use the light version in what ever they wished, but if they wanted any more like pitch change or what ever else you offer, they can download the full version and that would be under the commercial license.That way people could start conceptualizing sounds in the way pyaudiogame does without needing to buy it first.That would also coincidentally solve my little pyglet problem...

Theres nothing wrong with 5 if they play nice. if it has code you now dont have to write in it, add it.You can make subclasses that bind functions to keys based off a dict. You can make subclasses that maintain a map of whats currently down and whats not. But thats the basic one you should start with. The point is that your engine can pass all events to any screen without caring because the one at the bottom of the inheritance hierarchy has methods for them that do nothing.There is no basic Libaudioverse. There is no point to split it. its already basically as simple as it can get. Anything simpler needs to be built on top of it, which means Im giving you the full library. My plan for this summer is to look into
  the legal aspects of selling it. Your only chance of seeing a BSD version is if this falls through or turns out to be too complicated for me to manage without infrastructure I dont have.

You cant launch narrator from the pre-install thing as far as I know, Yes, it does work in a VM as Ive done this, I am currently running it on bare metal right now. The first part of the installer is not accessible, the second part is though.

Does anyone else have the problem where the action sounds, and the sounds it plays when you press the keys, just wont get loud enough?I have had to amplify most of mine to the end of the universe and that still doesnt appear to make much of a difference. Or at least, the sounds are still quieter than most of the default packs.

I just finished my first soundpack! Almost all of the music is from the previous century, therefore the pack is called blast from the past.I did this for a few reasons, one of which being that I havent obtained any new music for years and also because the game already has several pop soundpacks.The pack has 14 levels. The tracks are pretty random, I didnt have anything particular in mind so I just chose songs where each one would get a little faster.This pack should be fairly on par with the default soundpacks challenge wise, though it builds up relatively slowly.I tested this quite a lot, so any looping issues should hopefully be very minor.I hope the sounds arent too awkward... Im not too good with those sadly.Similarly I hope things arent too loud or quiet. This is mostly based on my own volume settings. ive seen that error as well. im not 100% sure what to do. it just eventually started working after a few times. just be patient.while i dont agree with blade about some things, this really is one thing i do agree with him on. some people really just need to get off their asses and play the game instead of sitting in the safezone bitching and flapping their virtual swampy gums. if people did as much as a 10th as much playing as they do bitching, they might actually become better players and have an inventory to speak of. not to mention, less to bitch about.

The only reason I say it isnt Chi is because I can do the same... and Ive taken worshops on the subject, and this is how echolocation works. It feels like an increased density in space, like a presence that you can all of a sudden just tell is there... and if Chi is a life force, that would imply it exists in inanimate objects or even empty space, which Im not so sure about. Im not criticizing anyone here, and am perfectly aware that not everyone holds my views on this subject. Just wanted to contribute a little to the discussion.  Chi is definitely an interesting topic, especially as someone who has been into martial arts and the like since I was young, and especially being interested in arts like Aikido which have a lot to do with energy and life force as part of the grappling system.  ople, empty doorways or spaces, fences, tree,s you name it... and had no idea what it was for the longest time until someone told me it was echolocation. Not that you have to make sounds to utilize it... which is why I can see some people theorizing that chi is the reason, which, for some, may indeed be it... and I dont doubt that if such a thing exists, it could definitely be used to enhance echolocation... though not to the extent shown in zatoichi and Daredevil movies. lol

Well, the thing is, chi as the term is used does refer specifically to the life force that Chinese and Asian mythology believes to exist. I was just saying that the actual Chinese word chi can mean many different things. Energy does exist, and what a lot of Asian martial arts refer to as Chi is normally due to kinetic energy and an understanding of opposing forces. I would not discourage science, and I think many religious people who do are incorrect... as science and faith, at least with Christianity, actually go together much better than they do trying to stand alone. And the problem with experiences as those that you mentioned is that there is no objective way to prove them... I dont disbelieve you, as Ive had spiritual experiences myself, just none with chi.

Try adding a } before void game_play() { You dont have a closing } for the class, so its thinking that game_play is part of the enemy class. Forgive me if Im wrong, but I have limited time to check this. Also I think you dont have the correct number of } on the void_play function.

The sound_pool has the easiest methods: pause_all, or destroy_all.If you are using individual sound objects, youd need to stop them all manually. If you have them in an array or dictionary, you can loop through and stop them more readily that way.

Im not going to look in the BT sink folder because 1: I dont have BT sink, and Im not thinking of getting it just for this. 2: I have heard so menny things about it getting hacked, and getting things like viruses, moovies, minecraft junk, and other things. I never did disbelieve science; I didnt say blood is something God create to sustain us; I say its a substance that transfers other substances in our body and we need it to stay alive because we need oxygen, all our cells do. I just dont want a scientific viewpoint because I already knew almost what scientists are about to say so I prefer another, non-scientific viewpoint. Like I said there are a lot of unexplainable things in the world. If you ever saw some mysterious things youll know; yes, some are fake tricks (fake water-bending by using a small thin string with a cup hanging there, and the string being as thin as it is its almost invisible to most... or firebending simply by cloaking your hand in bubble and holding the fire...) but some are real (what, how did they survive on a bed with nails? Of course they could with tricks, but what if they arent?). Those are unexplainable to most and definitely undoable by most normal people.Spiritual experie
 nces? I have those too, even those unrelated to chi. Like calming people simply by meditating (Well I tried spiritually reaching to them and so yeah), sensing spirits (again that might be because spirits are made of chi or they have some residue of chi on them), out of body experiences (no not really, just the feeling you got, it felt like your spirit is floating around without you actually dying), spiritual dreams (seeing my ancestors, gods, or even having a curse removed by god and feeling better the next day...) etc. So I do believe the ycompliment each other, just not completely. There isnt proof that this is real yet we experienced it. Similar to chi, it isnt proven whether it is real, but many did experience it and use it (heck, I went to chi gong together with a few others, the master was attempting to chi heal me, he said that we should see colours and feel warmth, one of the other person did and the others didnt, and I also did, god that intensity). And I 
 do believe it works... only to an extent though;if it did fully my eyes wouldve completely healed rather than this. My family even said once that I might be able to see chi because I saw it when I was young. (or feel it rather)

Finally a great discussion!Well I’m not sure what the Chi exactly means, so I looked it up on the dictionary.Again I can’t exactly understand it, but following this discussion, I can create an opinion on what it is, although I can’t explain it.It sounds a little strange indeed what you’re saying like feeling somebody’s heat or opinions or whatever you mentioned and so far I haven’t come across with it, but I’m sure I got some strange “Senses”For example, I can feel a person when getting closer; I think other do feel it as well, but I can feel it when they are not so close. I feel like a “Shadow” coming closer and closer untill I speek to him or her. I don’t hear that person walking, no, I don’t feel him or her, but I feel it coming to me. For example, I work with my laptop at my school, and once my English teacher came to see what I was doing. While she was about a meter away from me, I stopped working on my Laptop, and she wandered why I was doing that. She said, go on, why did you stop?Also, when rarely I want to cheat on any test, again, it happens rarely, I make sure where the teacher is, I can locate almost exactly where the teacher is, then I do what I need to do. Another example: when I walk on the street, there are some big houses which have big gates. The point is, I can feel the space between the door and the road, and I can go, right there.Another similar case occurs with cars. Once, I was walking with my best friend close to the school. He is not blind, and I felt like there were a blocked space over there. A car was parked, and I could feel it. I asked him right away: Who’s got that car?He got stunned saying, what the heck? Can you see it?Another interesting example, at least for me, I don’t know how did it happen, although I did it myself. We were sitting somewhere out of the school, and some guys were playing basketball. Suddenly, the ball was flying in front of me, very fast, and I felt it when it came very close. It would hit my head, but I moved it, and the ball crashed onto the wall. I don’t know why I did it, but I’m sure I felt something.I am never sure where does this come from. But I assume that many blind people have some senses like these. When coming to the question why, the reason is theoretically very simple. Many people try to explain it like a miracle of god. God helps them, they used to say, but I think it’s very difficult to literally explain it. Although the science has advanced so much, they’re still unable to explain some phenomenon, like, why does a person get red into face when you yell at them? Or, why does the face “View” change when a person laughs.Anyway these are somewhat different from what were we discussing, but it’s highly interesting to know about them.

LOL I through that together in 20 minutes and wanted to be very explicit.I think probably using decorators is the best idea for doing this actually. But getting a newbie to understand decorators would be horribly difficult.I like giving a dict to the programmers with all the actions that happened that iteration of the loop. so actions[key] is the keydown and actions[keyUp] is the key_up event.What I will probably do is offer a class the person can import that they make logic equal to that will do the check and then they just sub-class or decorate the screens.Pygame supports ogg and wav for sound objects and wav, mp3 and ogg (I dont know about any others) for streaming.Ive never had any problem with making all my files .ogg, .ogg is small, sounds great and audacity can convert sounds to ogg if you wish.I sent an email to the pyglet list to see where I can get the DLL and the other binaries for Linux and Mac as 
 well. Pyaudiogame is trying to be platform independent as much as possible, so I need to distribute everything in the download.I am also looking at Kivy for being the back-end, as it has support for IPhone and Android as well, but to say Kivy is inaccessible is putting it lightly. It is so complex to do anything but use the custom widgets that I dont think it is worth it. I dont know how good the sound support is either.I am also considering WXPython, because it has native widgets that one can use the screen reader with. This is super nice and something I would like pyaudiogame to have the ability to do. But I dont really like the way WXPython handles the main loop or the fact it has no sound support.Someone needs to write a cross-platform python UIA wrapper! (The folks at Kivy are looking at accessibility, but because there is no cross-platform UIA wrapper, (UIA Automation for windows, pyatspi for Linux and coco for mac), there is not much they c
 an do but add accessibility only on mobile platforms).So I am kind of keeping pyaudiogame as back-end independent as possible so if one of the other options becomes attractive enough, I can move to it with very little hassle.With windows 10 coming out, I think more and more people will be getting touchscreens, so I really would like Kivy, but it is their darn widgets they teach Kivy with that are holding me back. @afrim,Chi is, literarily a Chinese word, just translated into english. It meant lifeforce or simply energy around us.Thats interesting... and I know some others that could do like you did. Though I dunno whether what you feeling (the person one, not the basketball or the car) is chi or not, though. Many say Chi feels different for different people and that might be the case.Im not feeling somebodys heat, it just felt like something warm is flowing out of them (well some people say it as aura but I dunno whether its the same thing... oh well). I guess the shadows youre feeling is chi?

ah spirits! Now here comes something interesting... I actually felt spirits before, too. Though Im quite sure its one of my... ancestors? Some say theyre around all objects in the universe, others say lifeforce (I do believe, the energy around objects is aura, rather?). My parents do believe what Im seeing is Chi, and why other people cant see it is because my perception is stronger. Other family members say that this is psychical (supernatural rather) and asked me to inveestigate further... Oh well thsi is starting to get confusing.and also why didnt I sense this sorta energy eralier? I only started to notice it nowadays though Ive started sensing it on 2014. I dont know thats chi then, and I dont think my family members would believe me and so I just dont mind it. It went away for a while before recently I remembered the sensation I had when I went to chi gong earlier and also started to understand the similarities of what I sense and what I experienced.

Seems to me that the problem is usually the volume of the music tracks them selves, if its not constant, and if it happens to be of an overpowering level on some tracks, than it can make it seem like, on other songs, the actions are too loud, generally though, you will have to boost the actions up quite a bit, especially those that are panned if your doing that, but not so loud that they distort, for instance in the learn sounds dialog, but the track volumes are more important still, youll have to not only strike a balance between tracks, but also between various peoples default listening volumes, and thats hard.Best to experiment with the volume of the program on its own, with volume mixer, to get an accurate gage on that.Its not easy but, it is important.

Afrim, what you are describing sounds to me like the result of echo location, not chi. Chi in chinese isnt specific to life force, it simply means energy, but the way kenzon yeo defined it is more popular understanding of the word. All those experiences youve had, with being able to tell when people are near and when cars are close without hearing them, are part of the process... and is actually not a feeling, but something you can hear, because of sound waves and their movement patterns. As for my own personal experience with chi... I havent had any. Partially because I havent ever experienced it so dont believe in it, though Im open to the idea.. but also in part due to being a Christian, I have no need for ieas such as Chi, though again that doesnt mean I hate it. Spirits though... are most certainly another discussion, and things to be very, very careful with when dealing with them. In fact, I would say the best solution is to av
 oid them altogether... and I definitely believe those exist, both in my own limitted experience, and things Ive heard from others. Certainly an interesting discussion!

I actually have the beatstar volume turned down to like 12% because things are too loud otherwise. But I tried to make the music about as loud as in the default packs (well except for the dubstep ones obviously), and same for the sounds.
