Shank has a platforming i know, but its not that hard than in most platformers.For the legend of korra though, after watching a playthrough, the first level is playable, but in the second part after an arena based fight it will start to get harder because exploration envolves, not just breaking stuff and fighting enemies.It started when korra says that she need to find an island.

I said it in the recording and ill say it here, I teleported away because I didnt fancy the idea of my guts being splattered across the hole view of space... again. The minute you said our hull was down to 9000 I knew it was over for the ship, its easy to tell since warheads do 600 damage, and since enemies are rather smart at launching them. Theirs a specific reason why ya you know, dont go point blank range right up to it and expect it not to happily blow your ship into oblivion taking you with it, lol. Anyways, no guesses? OK, you win. Im working on a custom missions system, this basicly allows for new missions to be coded dynamicly on the fly. And whats even more awsome is these mission terminals can be spread out through various planets, each one can have different mission types. Currently the one on inderion station only offers derelict exploration, which selects from a random derelict model and scatters it with items that you can find. It
  isnt just ship baste either. Basicly in short, it will allow me to add new things on the fly, with out needing a client update each time, and it should provide a use for planets and increase the games replay value.

Catfish, in order to kill yourself, start punching while moving forward. It only works when you hit the up arrow key to move. Sooner or later youll start punching yourself. Now mind you, Im pretty sure this is a bug, and a potentially serious one. I was chasing someone earlier, running full tilt after them, and started slashing with my knife. I was killed in seconds, by my own knife. This is a problem, because in order to hit someone, you have to be facing them, so you can only run forward after them to get close. Sam, I dont know if youre aware of this issue, but now that the rotation system is in place, its become a very serious handicap.

I have been stuck by the FMODEx wrapper, trying to give real 3D positionning to BGT, but for now its a failure. I did a weapon system some weeks ago, without the bullets part.I will post the demo of this subject here, made in one afternoon from scratch with my engine. The files will be quite complex but when you understood how its working, its really powerful. The main reason of why i abandoned the wrapper for now is that it was randomly crashing the game when exiting, it was randomly crashing when loading sounds, and the bgt compiler couldnt compile the game (crashing, again).EDIT: found a bug in BGT, solved the problem. I can now work on this very little demo

Ironcross your easily amused. To be honest for me at least humer needs to be,  well better timed even if it is based on someone getting hurt, mad or freaking out, sinse even slapstick needs work to make it funny. All the crazy guitar renditions in the world just wont make something like this amusing, indeed its far too much like scenes Ive encountered myself from time to time (last time was on a train with a stressed out mother and two very distinctly not nice kids), and to be honest its just depressing. Were Bill on this forum Id probably be removing this file and giving the poster a warning at least for the insult clause, indeed posting a user as bill hater is sailing pretty close to the wind anyway.

Thanks. With this, I will try to simulate real-world thunderstorms, from the view of... well... a race car. I want the sounds of the elements to block out the sounds of the car, in order to produce that rain does to the view of a sighted person. It will cause players to slow down, unless they want the rain to get harder and to slip on the wet roads!

@Orin, by far Python is definitely your best option here as far as I am concerned. As you noticed unlike BGT Python is very light on syntax and does not require all the braces, brackets, and semi-colons of more C-style languages like BGT. It is more simple to learn and use provided you get your spacing and indentation right.Another reason I have become a fan of Python over the last few years is it is truly a0 cost solution. The majority of tools and documentation for Python is absolutely free of charge where with Purebasic you have to pay for it with little to no benefit in doing so. Even with C++, a language I use a lot in my professional development, usually comes with some financial costs attached somewhere down the line where Python is usually a cost free solution all around.Another issue to be concerned with is cross-platform development. Im not sure but it seems to me you are a Mac user. If so Python is far more suited to developing games and apps for Mac
  OS X than is BGT or Purebasic. Even if not it is something to consider given that today the VI gaming community is spread out over Windows, Mac, and Linux and using Python makes it much more likely to target non-Windows users with minor updates and changes in code.As for Pygame it is so/so. It is certainly not on par with DirectX, but if you arent developing a game requiring 3d audio etc you can make do with Pygame. It will give you basic keyboard, joystick, and mouse input, has some basic networking capabilities, and the 2d audio panning works if you know what you are doing. Since Pygames panning is very simple and rather basic youll have to use a bit of math to have the roll-off sound smooth and natural, but it can be done.

The first audio game I ever played on the PC was Pong from Kitchensinc, but when I was in high school in about 1986 I used to play text adventure games on the Apple 2E with Echo speech like Kidnapped and The Great Escape, which, Im happy to see is available for the PC. Id love to see Kidnapped remade. I havent had a chance to get out of the building. I only managed to make it down to about the 7th floor. But games like Lunar Lander were kind of fun even though I never was able to make a soft enough landing on the moon.

To top off that previous announcement, ive also finished coding the colony supply mission, this is basicly cargo hauling, deep space stile and the rewards are far grater. Ill work on derelict exploration missions once I get up layter, right now im half asleep. To thoughs wundering, yes, this will come as part of next update.

Mitsurugi kamui hiki says that it is arena based, which means the areas are small... which increases the chances of it being playable. And dont underestimate a games playability just because there is platforming! Shank also has a lot of platforming... and both those games are playable.

Where do you find the new unknown area? I assume the fists are still used in the same way as before. Shift and the number 1 or 2. Now, you just get the direction you turn the character into when using the shift and the arrow keys.Burak: Thank you. Ill wait with the translation. Diego, assuming you are on the Unity desktop press alt+f10 to get to the top panel. Arrow over to the network connections menu, and arrow down to the network connections listed in that menu. Once you find the one you want press enter on it and hopefully it will connect.

Personally, Id go with Python. As Python is used for, like, literally, everything. Id probably go with it because I enjoy it and love its syntax. Its just like writing an article or book, accept your writing the book and having a program (Python) - the editor - check it over for errors and tell you what you need to correct. The classes are books, volumes, etc., and the defined functions are chapters. Inside the chapters, the variables, statements, etc. are text that the editor reads when it looks at your book - or books. Thats kind of how I analyze a Python program.

In fact, only a few files are used and I only created 4 files. All the other are the engine have not been touched. EDIT : I changed the link of the demo game, with a correction : the game would not stop if the last robot of the serie was destroyed and not saved.

Hmm. the thing about that is, theres really no other way to shoot enemies if you arent point-blank, as this would cause missiles extremely long time to hit the target: the missiles we launched 5 or 10 minutes into the recording, had barely hit at 20 minutes in. So I know no other way... plus they dont have a timer, either that or it is not working propperly, thus allowing them to shoot a warhead every 5 milliseconds or however long it is your repeat loop was delayed.Remember when Lightstar was accidently an enemy? That time, my warheads went from 500 to -60 in 30 seconds. So please fix that bug, or if you havent yet please implement a timer.Thanks,-Im not going to say my name because you know me quite well. lols.

Goren,Ive actually tried pure basic. As you might know, Im creating a racing game in it, which I plan to make comercial. Pure basic is quite a good language, albeit it has some limitations that might be major, you decide. First of all, it costs money. So if you could Pithon, Id say do so. However, pure basic is easy to use, and there are no braces and such. It has numerous features that are, in my opinion, easy to access as opposed to bgt in most cases. The reference manual is definitely a plus. Its useful for one who is in the middle of something and needs to grab a snippet of code. There are ways to conduct both 2 and 3d sound manipulation. The Free SL sound library, though it has some known issues, can simulate a real environment. There is also a generate_pan procedure, one such as I have and can distribute if you need it, which was coded by Ghorthalon the dragon, who created the road to rage I: fires of war, Opperation Blacksquare, Mar
 ch Masicur and other such games in pure basic. Sorry this post got so long...

OK, first off, let me start by saying this. It was not only me who created this project. It was me and Sam combined. And it does have jaws and sapi support. I will not be adding the arrow keys for turning, just because the current system is easy enough as it is, I would think. However, I had a few other ideas if you guys dont think so. I could use arrows for turning, A and D for turning in a circle, and Shift+A and Shift+D for snapping to a direction. Or, I could do arrows for turning, Control+Arrows for snapping, and shift+arrows for turning. Just some thaughts.

Personally, I think the commentary owns, but the republishing of this audio file was not cool. I explicitly told the person who did it not to do it, but he did it anyways, thinking that he would get funny reception. However, that was not to be, and he has not seen that. His version of funny and our version of funny are completely different, I suppose. One thinks different than others, after all, and we need to keep that in mind too. However, overall I do not think that should have ever been republished whatsoever. If I had access to the users dropbox, I would delete it immediately, as it is, in my opinion, rude and disrespectful to post something like this publicly. It might be funny privately, but publicly, its different, and the user who published this - once again, I might add - apparently does not understand that.

Press S while in game to save the exact state. Then launch the game again, and the save will be loaded. If you take a look at the controler, you will notice that it takes 1 line to save the entire game, and 1 line to load the whole save file.

It wont let me continue and I cant navigate it with the jaws or nvda cursors. Someone just gave me the suggestion and I just kinda tossed a little thing in there, but ti was during private beta. Im 13 and I always use the computer, so im sorry in advance for all the spelling errors which i will try to fix sometime, but I never expected that little translation thing to go wild. I know of a website that has the Kodi installer, but I didnt see an installer for Mac listed on there.http://ruuk.github.io/service.xbmc.tts/Ive also only tried one netflix addon called netflixbmc and there were quite a few things wrong with it.Search wouldnt work, nor did using different profiles.It would only let you use the default profile.Trying to access other profiles wouldnt work at all.So if theres another netflix addon that actually works and where to get it would be appreciated.

aaAlso nortan will provide you with a lot lot more problems then just downloading the game unfortionatly. After you get it downloaded, you wont beable to connect, nortan will block it, Ive ecene it. I unfortionatly think the only way to fix this would be to disable/uninstall notran and go with something like malware bites that has a bit more accessable interface, but its definitely not my choice what you use for antivirus. Im just saying, its gonna be extremely hard to make stw work with nortan.

Yes, the commentary was absolutely pointless, and added nothing to what was going on.It makes me sick personally when people cant let things die. This happened, what, 6 years ago? This reminds me very much of things in my own life that people refuse to drop, and continue to spread around to try to get people to hate me.

Indeed, and hearing it from both teen agers and for sure adults like twoard and dark just further prooves it. Its funny to make skits, oh yes it sure is! Even its funny to immitate mock screaming and getting mad, heh, throw in a bunch of sfx to spice it up! But since this was recorded in realtime, and it was recorded in 2009 to top it off... that crosses the line between extremely funny skit and woe there.

@Garret, obviously there is no way to say for certain, but I am guessing the Lua scripting of the game will be the main game engine, the nuts and bolts, things like dungeon generation, saying what happens when a characters hp reaches zero, how scores and random number generators work etc. Id personally guess that the level of the dungeon a monster appears on will either be determined directly in the text file in which all the monsters other attributes like hp, attack and defense are determined, eg  name = orc, dl = 3, hp = 100 etc. Alternatively there might be a general text file for the dungeon generation in which you specify what appears where, eg floor 3 monster = orc, rat, kobold, wolf I dont know which way Jason will decide to have the text files work, or indeed if he will decide something else, but sinse as you said where a monster appears is important Im guessing itll be easy to spe
 cify.

If there is a lot of platforming, that mean the game is totally unplayable.I think its also applied to the 2 games that assault_freak mentioned, even though its a strait forward action adventure but its a 3D game without any kind of guide like the camera helper in watchmen: the end is nigh.

You are now able to display Talkback menus as lists instead of circle menus via the Talkback Settings section of Accessibility. 3. You can now change what swiping up, down, left or right does via the Manage Gestures section of Talkback Settings, granularity being one of the well wanted suggestions.Enjoy reading the rest!PS.
