Yes, RTR does not currently work with JFW. I have thought of installing a keyhook, but havent gotten there yet. As I understand, a majority of the people playing RTR use NVDA or are content with SAPI.

Hello everyone,My name is Rok, and I come from Slovenia. Im 24 and Im blind since birth. My first audiogame was Grizzly Gulch (sorry for misspells if any) - I played it in 2004. Then I started playing various games as they were available. I did follow your forum as a guest before, but finally I decided to register and try to be of use when possible. hi,[[wow]]! your computer apparently had an insane amount of malware. I would recommend downloading and scanning with malwarebytes to remove the rest of the infections. You also have adware, so you might want to run adwcleaner and the junkware removal tool.

Hi.Revan and others:My difficulty is that I get attacked so much so either my weapons or armor brakes. So Im just stuck there, and cant do much but only Watch myself being killed very fast.The shield helps a lot though. I found one yesterday. I just need to be careful on not getting too many zombies to follow me, because then, if Im out of luck, the shield will brake and then Im really screwed.Yes I might need more points and higher levels. You might be right on this. I just dont understand how people manage to go through lots of zombies just using the shield. because when I do this, Things starts to brake and then Ill die for sure.I have stopped soloing missions. I dont find it worth it anymore. I find it more interesting to search for loot than leveling up.Aprone I hope you read the rest of this message, and dont take this as criticyzing the game. I still like it, and like the challenge.  I really, really love the lootpoints. For me, this is really making the game worth playing. This is making players wanting to loot for sure. Search for great stuff to gaine lootpoints. Im slowly climing my way up to 1000 lootpoints, hoping to get private sometime to unlock the awesome weapons. I like to loot and find great stuff which gives me the feeling that all the hard Work is worth it when you get a great weapon or great armor for hours of searching. The hardcore mode is not for me, since I cant play the game as often as I would like to do, and I find the normal mode challinging enough. But I really like the different titles, and I love the alternative lootpoint way. So thank you so much for this small but very important change to the game.

Normally the Game constructor does nothing by itself, no loop and all. So it shouldnt block the program. The game.run() is blocking but nothing else.

Greetings! Anyone feel up to defending a transport? Well, now with the new transport rescue mission that you can get on bakuan5, you can! Once you start the mission, the transport ship will be surrounded by at least 5 or so pirates. Your objective is to take out the pirates, and save the transport. Lose the transport however, and you lose 24000 of your credits. Im still fixing bugs to this mission, but you will dephanatly enjoy it if you like saving things from the evil pirates.

Combat is extremely simpple. One simpply presses enter on a weapons console, like a turret or warhead launcher, and selects a target. The weapon then fires. It is not required to draw right up to a target as is the case with miriani, in fact doing so will earn you a heavy beating from them. Strike from a distance, and youll have the element of surprise. However, do keep in mined pirates know how to maneuver, so having a helmsmen can help since they can control autopilot and change speed.

Hi.[[wow]], sounds like a nice mission.I havent got into how batteling Works yet. Can you explain how this Works? Do you have to keep running between the autopilot system entering cordinats and a weapon to fire, or how does this Work? I havent found any instructions on how to do that, and I dont feel like saving up for an expensive ship just to mess it all up and got blown up and disappear into the Space.

From what I recall, players have been able to solo missions for as long as missions have been around. Not everyone can, and it takes practice, but it can always be done by some. Plus, you have to put skills in the right places, and you cant then use those skills for other things, so its a trade-off that way.

@Afrim you seem to have made a few assumptions about the holocaust which arent correct, and perhaps clearing up some of this will help with your confusion. Firstly, the figure of six million dead is counting everyone who was killed in Hitlers final solution. The solution itself was implemented in 1940, and went on for the next five years. It certainly is true that not everyone killed was Jewish, sinse as you said yourself many slavs, disabled people, gypsies etc also died, however the vast majority were jewish. Also, on the population angle, you would be correct that six million would be an entirely ridiculous figure just for Germany, but remember that during the war Hitlers forces captured a huge amount of teretory. The six million figure is taken from people killed in Poland, The netherlands, France, Italy, Belgium, Hungary and many other parts of mainland europe apart from Germany itself. As to how so many people died, well the shear effic
 iency of the process is one of the most terrifying things about the Holocaust. In the larger camps such as Dachau and Auschwitz people were forced into gas chambers two thousand or so at a time, there are even reports that babies and young children were thrown ontop of the crowd but were unable to reach the floor so many people were crushed into small spaces. Btw, to actually be serious and over the age of about 7 for a second (though thinking about it I dont think I actually ever talked like that even when I was! 7, which is why I must be getting it off my chest now), I have heard that mushclient, or mushZ which is pretty much Mushclient just with lots of extra soundpacks has various complicated scripty things. I dont personally know anything about scripting, indeed other than using some in built alias commands in muds like Alter Ive not done any, and I just find the layout and extra commands of Vipmud a lot easier to use, particularly with Sapi.

There are games like bloodwars and rise of the golems where you have buildings in a city and upgrade them with resources, but these are usually more about making buildings to constantly improve your own rpg stats and do pvp than actually build and manage a city. Similarly, there are various warfare games from Tribal wars to 1000 Ad and rise of chaos that have buildings like houses and barracks where you train and produce troops, but again theyre very much just there for upping the numbers of your forces. To be honest,what Im waiting for myself is a really good single player building and civilization game, something like Castaways but more so, sinse in a single player game you can go from nothing and a few setlers to a full scale empire, just by careful management and building and helping your people through a variety of disasters, and its not just all about seeing who has the biggest stats online.Ive heard a few people are w
 orking on something like this (Ive heard Aprone is doing something along the lines of a Castaways Ii), though nothing has appeared yet.

Hello all!As weve known for a long time that Epitaph online is one, or I can say only one of the best zombie survival mud out there, but not many people here seem to be interested in it because of many things, accessibility, spam, whatever. Now kind gms fixed some of those for us in a new patch update. Ill use this topic as a general update for this mud, unless the moderator thinks therere too many topics about it.Whats new now :1. The combat spam thingy is now fixed. Theres a new option call full_text, can be accessed by using the command options mud_output monitor full_text =on. This one converts the status bar into the easier to understand text, though still spammy, but less. Also, in the new releases room, which we all know, Sneak has released a nice soundpack for it, which completely solved the combat spam problem.2. The quest highlighted thingy is now fully accessible.  ng is what we do to survvive.There are many strains of zombies.And so on.So whatever we can ask the npc are all now quoted, so we dont have to keep looking and get confused over what we should do. Firstly, what is this about unless the moderator thinks there are too many topics? Theres no rule about how many topics there can be on one subject. The only time I could see topics being deleted is when someone has hit the submit button too many times and submitted three or four topics with identical text, but that is a rather different matter. Sinse the super spammy combat in Epitaff was causing major problems for me, Ill have to try it again now it has better options.

Hello, I downloaded this game with great inticipation. I wasnt very disappointed, although I found this game to lack a lot of upgrades. I did end up buying the game and have a couple of suggestions/comments regarding design of AI players and such. The AI players are really stupid which needs to be fixed in the next release, also the ability for cops to shoot you down when u get past lvl 10 makes this game very difficult to play for me. Any tips on this? The ability to be able to bring more than just 2 other people with you should be changed to unlimited; unless you go solo lol. The only time I fire a weapon in that mission is right at the end before turning in the crates. I just launch a few grenades back into the warehouse and blow a bunch of them up.This is the only warehouse I run through without firing at all. Large is possible but easier to clear them away. Strip and chem are pretty much death without fighting back.Oh and just a thought. The people who have been playing for a while are always griping about how things used to be and how theyre so different now. the nature of a game under constant development is to grow and change. The new and different changes are what keep people coming back. Nobody has done it here but people in the game often complain about how things are now and talk about the old days. I wish theyd just accept the changes and learn the new methods instead of wining about it.Nobody would play a game that never changes or provides new challenges. I say keep the changes coming!Maybe boss fights? 
 That could be fun!

Ok, as to the person that wrote their message in post 251, That was not good at all. You shouldnt talk like that about a developers hard work in an open forum. and dont curse them either. Ive no idea if Dark wants to do anything with that post at all, but, I do think that the post either could have been written better, or not been written at all.Now, as for something Id like to say about the game. I find it hard to go to the police station and take control there. Ive had plenty of people tell me about it now, but I have no way of knowing if there are actually website down times or not. If someone cant sign in and a few of their friends can verify that they also cannot sign in, then at least Ill know the issue IS on the websites server. Until I know that for sure, there are several things that could be causing this, and I cannot narrow it down.

I wonder what exactly triggers the auto AI mode? Because I unlocked it around level 30 or so, but Ive seen a couple of people here say that it doesnt unlock for them, and theyre at ridiculously high levels.Also, I was playing just now, and I had a thought. Then they wanted a crap ton of money.So to get to the point, I think an option should be added in which you decide whether or not your gang members have done a satisfactory job. So you could rate their skills at various things, like how much loot theyve grabbed, how many p
 eople theyve killed, and decide whether the amount of cash they want is fair or not. And if it isnt, you could confront them. This could end with either negotiations or violence, depending on what the gang member decides to do.I realize you can just not pay them, but I would rather actually challenge their right to all my hard-earned cash, instead of just giving them exactly what they want every time or risk their loyalty dropping.

hmm, i used to do dosbox stuff all the time before it should just mount or mt virtual path path where the virtual path can be like z: or b: or whatever then you reference that when you change dirs and stuff. You would generally mount the games folder since then you can cd into whatever game you wish without having to unmount and mount the new dir. so it should be like mt z: c:\gamesIts been quite a while years back so i could misremember. Let me know if that helps.

Hi,yeah, Rhythm Heaven is just great. I never played the DS version though, mainly due to the lack of a DS to play on. And it seems kind of pointless to me to buy one just for this one game, though Id really love to play it! I played the Wii one and the one for GBA in an emulator though and they are great as well.Anyway, if I remember right there is one song in there called Rhythm Rally, Id love to see this one. And maybe you could look at some of the remix track. I cant remember right now which ones are really good, but there really great ones in there.Btw, the first Rhythm Heaven soundpack was from the Wii version but it was kind of broken. Has anyone fixed this one yet? The problem was that the music started exactly with the first action sound, so there was no way to know the tempo of the song to know when to press a key.

Hi Xoren, just a quick note you might be interested in.While Tactical Battle does expose all the sounds, and would be difficult to change now, my newer projects protect the sounds from users who might want to copy them.This includes a turn based single player RPG with first person exploration and a real time multiplayer first person shooter.Cheers.

I didnt know that rhythm Heaven was so big in the blind community, and to think Ive never plaied it!My nefue had it on his DSI a while back, but he seemed to think it was unplayable by us blind fokes.Oh well, I guess Ill just pay amazon a visit and get it for $9, and if it turns out I cant play it, I can always sell it at my local gamestop for almost what I paid for it.Anyway aaron, what songs would you like to see added, seeing as crashmaster just kind of posted the soundtrack and dropped off...Also, would you like my better soundtrack? I can post it on dropbox if you want.Most of it I got from a 2sf dump, as it sounds better than what the ds can do, especially with songs like mowy duwop, shoot em up, filbits and the sequenced stuff, as the ds doesnt combined phrases vary well; leaving songs vary slightly off beat, and the artifacting from the upsampling is atrocious.I can tell you via PM how to get the 2s
 f and strm files working in your player of choice if youd like me to just post that instead of converting everything to mp3.From what Ive read, the only way to unlock a song for play in the game is to get a perfect on it when it shows up, and we cant do that, at least from whats over on the mainstream list thread on this forum.At this time, Nintendo hasnt put out a soundtrack for this game, but if they did, Id buy it in a heartbeat, even if it only contained the japanese stuff.

I do use mushZ with alter,but while the sounds are awsome and the speech works, there is a lot I dont like, like no text string search and all the output going to a text file rather than being on the screen, and having your commands and the output text in the same window.Despite the above rant, (which was intended purely for commic purposes only), I actually have no particular animosity towards mushclient, indeed I do accept that it might be better for the hole scripting thing even though that doesnt particularly bother me sinse it is something I dont do. vipmud was after all intended as a quick and easy client for people not familiar with muds, and for that for me it serves very well.

Yeah but you can see the text on MUSHclient with nvda, just keep your numlock off and use the object nav commands on it. When first you load in, use INS + 4 twice then just use 7 and 9 to go back and forwards in lines. A small bug,though, sometimes if you alt tab away and you try this, you get an announcement of unknown, in this case, just minimize to desktop and alt tab back in.HahahaahahahahaMuh juarasjuarasjuarasjuarasjuarasjuarasjuarasjuaras ush client.

I believe customizable can prolong a game far passed its usual shelf life.I have a question about the base set of multimedia you plan to include with the game. Do you plan to encrypt the sounds into a secure package, or are they free-floating, unencrypted sounds, much as in Tactical Battle?If the former, wherein sounds are encrypted, I would love to offer my time and resources to assist in the design of monsters and such. If the latter, then I suppose itll be nice for players to be able to replace the pre-built sounds, and I will enjoy playing the final product.In a related note, would you consider an encrypted base set of multimedia, but then have the game replace the sounds with lua and mod-specific conditional coding?Kai

No, the AI in this game is really fucking stupid, and anyone who Thinks otherwise are just as stupid as the game AI. Lol ...Anyway, Id like to Control each AI with both in level Controls such as making them go out or something, but also settings for each.Settings might be preserve medkits, exit stage if dying, loot mode, kill mode, target only attackers, preserve mines and bombs, preserve ammunition on objects, exit stage after requiring this much of this resorce (exit stage after acquiring 10 medkits).Having more than 3 people is nearly pointless so please make it Worth while.But the best would be, more fucking Words from the developers!

For the Alter Aeon forums and wiki, we decided to tie the account creation process into the account system for Alter Aeon itself. Now, you can only create a new account if you use a registered AA player name and email address. This also helps us keep track of who is posting what - so if somebody decides to be a jerk, we know exactly which character in the game is responsible for it.I know that were a special case and that other places cant do this, but holy cow is it effective. Strangely, I cant seem to make myself familiar with vipmud at all. And seems like youre surrounded by bottom head, dark, cause lots of people use mush-z.
