The problem I'm encountering, the little thing that flies back and forth isn't on the object list for the room. I kill the first one with the plate launcher, then I'm on the height where the second is hitting me but I can't shoot it with the launcher.

Hi Steve, I think unlockables would be cool. To make screen reader support optional would be the best way, I think, so everyone can select what he or she prefers. Another suggestion if it is not already existing. The game reminds me of another game called superball. There was an arcade mode with opstacles, like pits, fire balls etc. and items along the way, so you had to control the ball to pick them up. For example, you could destroy opstacles with a canon or other explosives, or you had an item wich lets you roll over fire for a limited time. Otherwise you had to go around the fire. Maybe this would be interesting as well.

I have a problem with NVDA or quentency game room

Hello everyone,I've started using  NVDA regularly.I also play on playroom. It's a good platform and it has some interesting games to play and kill the time when you're free.When I open Playroom with jaws, it reads the history and the messages, but NVDA doesn't.The screen reader is set to automatic. Wait, I did set it to NVDA but absolutely no change.So, is there any way to fix this?I would really appreciate every answer.Cheers.

That's weird... it has to be. There is a gap in the surface over your head that you need to find and jump up through. Do this when the lamp is flying away from you then shoot it right away as it comes back. Also, remember to upgrade defense... that's important!

Hello,I think this could be done quite easily in audio. The design mode could have another mode that is menu based, so you would go up and down to select what you want to adjust, then press enter to go into the adjusting side, then go left and right like a slider, or perhaps type it in. If the boat is panned correctly in stereo while driving, you can see how your parameters effect certain parts of it. In top speed 3 there was a system that let you design cars with text files, and depending on what you set in there your car would either move really fast from left to right and you might crash, or I actually ended up making a car which couldn't move left or right at all so I couldn't take any turn. I'm not entirely sure what we could do to make this a bit more fun, as right now in a game like top speed 3 you did actually race, arcade style, against other cars, but your game is going to be more of a sim, which also has me intrigued because we literally don't 
 have any sims that you can just mess around with, which is what this is going to be.I actually think a designer built into the game itself would be awesome, because in top speed 3 we just designed our cars in notepad and we couldn't test them before adding them to the game. I think an in-game designer would feel a lot more mainstream, which is what a lot of folks want in this community, more games that are similar to what sighted people play. It would be amazing if this sim could be designed with both graphics but also audio support, because then it would, effectively, be a game that can be, quite literally, played on equal level by both blind and sighted.

Awesome so far! As far as bugs, two things. Error at startup, error while loading language file. But that doesn't close the game. Second, some enemies will just stand there and punch, and you can't attack them. Could these be ghosts? It does happen to be Christmas today, so merry Christmas, and when I have my yeti I'll be recording a voice. Keep it up!

To get rid of the spelling cap thing, go into nvda menu/preferences/dictionaries/voice dictionary and remove the weird regular _expression_ thing, I think it's the one right before the one that replaces mr with mister. I removed that myself, because it was making it spell item descriptions in Alter aeon like absorb_magic as A B S O R B M A G I C which I didn't want to hear.

Ok I give up on this room. I can get all the way to the contents in the box and I'm not able to shoot the lamp at height four. I even found a box that is at height four that is outside the range of the lamp, and I shot at it from there, but all my plates just hit the wall and not the lamp. What the heck is going on. Since I can't kill this lamp, am I just failing at this? I don't know what else to do, I'm shooting at it from the same height from like 4 tiles away and not hitting it. Is there another way to kill the lamps that come out of the computer in stage one level three if I don't get the weapon from this box? Or am I just blocked?

hi,for any players of this game who've passed this part, could I please get some assistance with the day 3 boss? otherwise known as big fucking dinosaur, lolI figured out that if I just keep running to the left the camera lets me run in circles around it, but my problem is actually hitting it once it fallsand then there's the part where it gets the armor, how does one aim for its head?any help would be greatly appreciated

Hmm yeah, obstacles and items. Thanks a lot for the ideas dude. If I put unlockables in, I won't tell you guys what they are, I'll just maybe tell you which score to get to perhaps.  But about the update release thing adding more skits, yes I will still add the other skits, but tonight will be a busy one so I will probably be afk a lot of it. So, here is this update that fixes a bug where especially in the mayhem mode, it was difficult to aim at a brick, because the paddle would be timer based even when the ball was not in motion, which was quite annoying. This also adds in an options menu, where currently you can toggle whether the ball gets faster as you progress in game play (when that's off, the only time the ball speed increases is when you level up, but when it's on it increases with each whack of the ball just like in pong, increasing also when you level up), and then an option to toggle between screen reader and SAPI output. Note, that having
  the option where the ball increases with each whack of the ball turned on, will increase your score in each game. As this game gets more complex I will create a config data file, but for now the options selected in the options menu do not save on exit.  A couple more changes you should know about, the key S announces your sscore while in the middle of the game, and your score is also announced when the escape key is pressed.

Rofl, no offense, but NS-Studios, do you know anything about copyrighting and sourcecode licensing? From your previous posts, I'm sorry but I have to assume the answer is no.There was no license or copyright information released with any versions of ultrapower, and aside from the endless "That's my sound! No you stole it from me! Give it back!", game you children like to play, there are no legal ramifications of any of this.There are, of course, also creative commons licenses for content other than sourcecode, and if you seriously want to protect your current and future work, I highly suggest you look into this, as well as other licensing topics. Now I'm not particularly knowledgeable about legalees, licensing, and copyright in general, but this definitly seems like something that, as a game developer, you would really want to address.Okay, we now return you to your normal bitching interspersed with amusing commentary, please enjoy.

I've been on the playroom for a few years now, and while these situations haven't happend to me personally, I have heard of situations like this. I think the developer needs to step in and take control of these things instead of leaving it up to his admins. Then, I hope, that a choice will be made on what to do. But leaving it up to the admins isn't always the way to go, as demonstrated with this.

Gaming headset on an hp laptop?

Hi guys,  I have a gaming headset now. But the problem is that it has two plugs -- one for the actual headphones, another for the microphone, you know. But the problem is that I have an hp Pavillion, which only has one 3.5mm headphone jack, so I can only have either the microphone plug, or the headphones plug plugged into the laptop at once. What do I need to buy in order to be able to plug both of these in? I'd look it up on Amazon or whatever myself, but I don't want to click the wrong item as I have no idea as to what I'm looking for.

Is the lamp at the same height as you? Iron plates cannot shoot through walls... which is why you aren't able to kill the thing, but for some strange reason, the lamps can go through walls and hit you... it's a weird dynamic, one that I think maybe should be fixed.

hello, is the clok soundpack still being updated? Last time I downloaded it it was version 2.5, and it didn't have that many sounds to speak of.
