hi@slj: that might be a bug, I've encountered that myself. Sometimes the frequency just doesn't want to chance, that's why you are crashing into other planes. I know that it doesn't change because after entering it it still gives the new xxx.x when I press f. It hasn't affected me lately though and I wasn't able to reproduce it consistently.

[[wow]]... I have attempted to duplicate screen reader functionality and it is not easy!Yes, I mean when you press ctrl+p to play and stop play mode. NVDA will speak the first time, but not any times after.Do you just send say commands to the screen reader and that is how you communicate with the screen reader? If so, you can just add an element to the page with a role="status" and update it any time you wish something new to be sent to the screen reader. There is also mespeak.js that is a screen reader in _javascript_.ESpeak is a very lightweight screen reader that is free. you could bundle it, but most people think it sounds a little harsh.

Regarding For honor. Don't expect this one to be accessible. It's basically a game like many others (I mean TPP, Multi player combat etc where AIMING is a key and it's really hard) but This one will have art of battle system what will make it totally not accessible. Your task will be not only to just swing your weapons etc but mark your enemy first, use your mouse or LS / RS on the gamepad to aim accurately. There will be defence system which will add more not possible operations to do it.Actually it's heavily physic based and just one small mistake will end your battle.

Hi.Regarding downloading the voice pack to fix crashing into an other plane:I went to the download page which shows all the different language packs. I downloaded latest english language pack and installed it. Should that fix the issue? It doesn't do that here.I get the message saying set freequency. I press f to get the number, but it don't change. I try to enter the freequency again, but it won't get accepted. I keep fly to my distination, and suddenly just boom...I managed to complete the previous task I was talking about by luck, but now I'm having the same issue again on the next mission.What feature should avoid the players to crash into an other plane? Is it by following the instructions from the tower?

Hi.This video is really awesome... I don't have any hope left regarding to the TTS function on the ps4, but it's really great that game developers is a part of the panel also. My point is: Why should accessibility on a console matter if the games aren't accessible? Developers are starting to realize that people expect accessibility in games, which is the reason for I'm excited about this video. Thanks slj.Write back soon, if another user can prove the c doesn't work especially if I asked them to, I can say that several users with the c found the issue.If its doing what it did to the user on applevis in question then you will know if the program is having issues.I am unsure how much cpu power it needs but it may just have to be that way.Maybe if it is some element we can cut off, even if that means a lower quality sound or something needs to be done we can probably do it.

Who should translate the games into all those languages? What about those games which simply can't be translated because of the way the code is written?Here is what I'm going to do here in my country, for free:I'll make something like PG13. Not to copy what those great guys are doing, but to have something simular in my country. I will make gameplays where I explain how to play the different games and explain what everything means, so people will be able to play the game afterwards. There are a couple of posts detailing how to do what I call creative trading, but here goes. You'll need process explorer, which is a free download and easy to get. Then you run it as admin, find the running copy of rpg.exe in one list, and you'll see a lot of thread names in another one. You want something listed as mutant session or something like that and it says bgt manamon. Kill that one. Now you can run two instances of manamon. Make sure you have all your appropriate data files backed up somewhere because you're going to be swapping out data files. So one instance will have what I assume is a completed manapedia. The other one will have the first stadium beaten and trading unlocked. So have some dummy manamon on your game in progress for the purpose of trading, like squirmunk or something you can easily get. Then trade your squirmunk from your game in progress to your completed game in exchange for something from your completed game to the one in progress. Wh
 en you're done with all of your trading, Ditch the instance with your completed game since you don't really need or want to save that one anyway. Then make sure the game in progress is saved and backed up somewhere. The way you connected the two instances for trading is to use localhost or 127.0.0.1. You're doing everything on the same computer so you shouldn't need to mess around with ports or firewalls or anything like that.

Luis, no offense but we could care less about violations of the nuance license agreement when we're talking harmful software being made. The fact that malware is laced with this software doesn't depend on a license being violated. As for malware coming from shady torrent sites, that is very possible, although a genuine developer, if they were trying to release something to help, got it from a torrent realizing it had malware, probably would've found it in them to try their best to remove the malware before publishing it.

I'm hoping. lol And I shouldn't sound bitter... I just wish they coded the original base better for the tts. If they weren't going to update it often, they should've coded it to at least be dynamic. hahaha. But let's see what the coming year brings... maybe I'm just happy because Microsoft is making a much more visible and obvious effort. lol I like being optomistic, but generally I try and temper it so as not to be disappointed. But with an accessibility panel at psx this year... my hopes are definitely going higher than nowhere!

ANd if that was a job they would have to be payed.Maybe making devs aware and getting them to translate will work where possible but I don't know.I mean if you can manage it, c concidder me employed, but you can't just go and say lets do this and that without thinking about it.Sorry to burst your bubble but have you seriously thought how you would fund or manage such an undertaking.I have at least 3 cases where this was not mannaged.Case 1, earlier on a developer wanted to make a blind/ sighted hybred of treasure island.He started off strong, but ordered sound techs and testers before he even started a game.He is gone now and his game with him.2.  someone on skype was making a game, he wanted cash to buy sounds and stuff, he wanted voices, he got voices from me but no cash.His idea was the same as yours slj, he is gone to.3.  recently at the end of last year, someone else over skype had a idea for a ga ming company, it was good, the website looked good.He needed cash for some simple resources, hosting ftp client etc.I gave him that cash, the site looked good, the game was a bit crappy but it would get better his trailers looked good.He got busy suddenly he is offline, he hardly updated and 6 months ago after I asked him he updated and said he was busy.He is gone now I can only assume burned out or to busy to do things.There are 3 people and at least 2 of those meant well, one which I funded expecting a return of some sort.I don't expect I will ever get the cash back from that one.This indicates to me a few things.1.  either all 3 of them were stupit fat lazy good for nothing wankers or.2.  they have lives and didn't realise what they were getting into or.3.  and most likely that being a dev is a hard life for anyone.Look at reality software, juggling life and online activities is a really ha rd thing to do.And if you aren't watching you burn and I mean burn big time.Sonnar is the only company which hasn't burnt yet, its slow but steady.The games we have out while small are good enough to get us on the ladder.I tried to program, I didn't like it.I pulled back from the computer to have a life, that doesn't mean I don't spend most of my time or as much as I can on the system its just I don't commit to to many things at once especially if its an ongoing online task because I know I will never keep up with it.Look at blindsoftware, justin was doing well, he could spend his life on it till he got a real life.He has one now now he's done.So being a total tech takes time.I think you really need to think really hard, look how much cloud hosting costs, look how much making voices for different languages with acters cost, look how much it will be to translate things etc is, look at what you ne ed to do.To be honest you may get a short time success but its unlikely it will be more than that.If you think after you finnish really crunching the numbers if you want to try for it be my guest.For a cloud solution dropbox pro at 9 bucks a month will give you 1tb of storage. there is also things like cloudflare,

They do! They've been doing updates for vision, but enhancements for low vision rather than no vision. Their most recent update upgraded the large font functionality. I own a hat, lets have this conversation again this time next year and if TTS isn't significantly better by then I'll eat it I'm generally optimistic about accessibility, but as there hasn't been an update yet that hasn't included any accessibility upgrades I'm pretty confident about this one.

Thanks for bringing up a movie I wish to go see. ROFL. Anyway, I looked it up on wikipedia and found the plot worth seeing. Anyway, I can guess the why new York question. Yes wish DC now the capital, but for a few years at the beginning after we got away from England, the second Continental congress were meeting some in new York. It was after the US converted from a confederacy of states to a republic. I will have to go dig up the exact dates for you, but suffice it to say, we were fighting as 13 nations in away. Now why they were there in new York, when they were trying to stay hidden, I do not know. I just got to go see this myself.

This may sound a little selfish, but other accessibility enhancements, as nice as they are, don't do much for the vision end as they seem to be focused on everything except tts. As for the accessibility statements, so far, microsoft has delivered much more imho. They've also been more open about communicating with fans, whereas sony have been dead silent. I stil love Sony, but I haven't had much hope since version 4.0 when I stopped noticing tts updates. lol

Also it's worth mentioning that accessibility is a broad church, there are some areas that they're leading on, in both games and consoles. What you can take from this is a very strong statement of intent, this year we've now had not only Shawn but also Phil Spencer, head of Xbox, state very publicly that they think that accessibility is important and that they are committed to making advancements in the field. Having those kind of statements and commitments together with having any kind of accessibility functionality at all on consoles would just have been plain science fiction even only 2 years ago, so I'm pretty hopeful for the future

Hello all!After just than one week on the forums, Beached! has received many replies, complaints, requests and compliments.Over 700 visitors have played the game so far. Thank you all for that!All the feedback has been processed and Beached! has been overhauled thoroughly:1) Hundreds of grammar and spelling errors have been corrected.2) The rudeness of the game has been downgraded quite firmly.3) Many, many bugs have been crushed.4) Many misleading location exits have been fixed.5) A walkthrough map has been added to guide you through the puzzles.6) The text parser has been upgraded from a '2-words-max' processor to one that actually reads small sentences (WIP continuously).7

I don't have time to watch the entire video right now, but that sounds awesome. But honestly, from the first 5 minutes or so, if sony really wants to lead in this area as they say, then they need to catch up to microsoft.. who are way ahead. I still don't understand why they coded their tts so badly where they have to manually code in what can be read, especially with the system interface... but I hope this all gets remedied soon! I would personally love to be a part of one of these panels... not high profile enough, unfortunately. haha.

Hi, just a bump more than anything else because the good MUDs don't get much action if they're not within the first 5 or 6 results on the first page. If you play on Geas and haven't done so, please relate your experiences. This MUD is pretty cool. My new character is called Jonan, a dwarf, the human char I had disappointed me so when he died a bunch, I left him go.At the moment, he is awaiting someone to induct him into the Skalds, a guild of bards who sing and perform. He is part of the gem cutters' guild in the Dwarven Underground and training up with battles. He has been to Arborea and done tasks there and doing tasks at the Underground.Dying is pretty rough because you lose stats and its just like fwiw, I went through all that to get a stat increase and now I'm thrown down to the previous rank, ugh, so watch yourself so you don't die. Also get used to the weird english in places like medical wounds of me for healing critical wounds, 
 try to not let that get out of hand.

To be honest I never liked the original dumbeldore, just a dry wizard character with none of the sense of fun. There's no way I could imagine someone that miserable saying "I'd like to say a few words, and here they are. Nitwit, Blubber, oddment, tweak" That's why the earwax at the end of philosopher's stone just falls flat in the film.I'm not crazy at the second dumbledore, but at least he looked like he actually had a sense of humour. Also, I was quite amazed how well Deathly hallows followed the book, even as far as having Ron explain how he found his way back. The only really stupid bit in deathly hallows is the slow dance harry hermione thing which was totally off, but generally I was impressed with the ending of the series even if Ascaban is still my favourite,  especially because it was the last film with John Williams. As to the death potion, I sort of thought there was more to it than just aciding people, w
 hat with it showing people's memories like a pensiv, again something I'd like to know a bit more of. Also, the chair didn't exactly melt so much as vanish when it touched the potion, which to me emplies there is more going on, especially with how specific Rowling is about killing intent and how avada Kedavra is a spell that needs some serious murderousness behind it.

Go take a listen to the first one and compare those, iirc ... the Cesna sounds were exactly the same though not the same as the  machine in the official reease.Interesting note: try to start the two Engines at the same time, the sound of your Aircraft should now be in the center of your hearing field instead of panned out. HahaMan I've tried to break this game in helarious ways. For example, I've disrupted the flight attendent and been able to get him to give me a drink as I was taxying down the runway after a landing

oh man I forgot to tell you but last night I used the gun powder to light up a camp fire. I was celebrating my 1000th trip with my girlfriend and I was so pissed of that I couldn't light the fire that I poured all the powder on the wood along with a canister of gasoline and set it on fire. don't worry, i'm ok. I tried to use OpenMPT for VSTs, I didn't know about Reaper. I will try that.Plus I am interested in using YM-2151, especially since I listened a lot of tracks made with the Sharp X68000 computer recently. I even found some X68000 fan covers of SNES games track which sounded almost as good, and sometimes even better then the originals.Anyway, thank you very much.
