For PDFs, its impossible to read math directly. Your options there are to use InftyReader (which costs over $1,000) to OCR the math into LaTeX, or preferably, get the LaTeX source directly from the author.For word files, if you have MathType and MathPlayer installed, you'll be able to read it with NVDA if the equations were prepared using Microsoft's equation editor or MathType.

Yeah, man, don't know what to tell ya. Both links are throwing a Dropbox 404 error.I'm in Dimbranch Jungle, and the semi-throwaway team is owning all over basically everything. Is it me, or are Merembear and Fyrate faster than I remember? They are reliably outspeeding Lonar and Zintrabat at the same level. Also, I'm beginning to remember why it was that I loved Erroir. Can someone tell me how to get open emu running on mac?

Hey guys. For those playing emulator games on the mac using open emu, could you tell me how to add games to my library? I know this sounds strange, but i'm not sure how to drag and drop in to that application. When i click on browse for rom, i can't seem to figure out how to add the file. The only thing i see in finder is open. Maybe i need to touch up on my voiceover commands with finder lol. Anyway, i must be missing something, could someone explain in steps please. Thanks.

I agree with you. The staff comes across that way more often than not. I've had good interactions with hosts, and bad ones, but in general unless I'm needing assistance, I don't bother them and hope they don't bother me. I had taken a four year break mostly because I felt like the good rp opportunities were always done by the same small group of people. I think it has improved a bit, but I think it's still an issue to some extent.

Ahoy there.I don't know why but my dropbox downloads keep on failing,so I decided I'd download a download manager so as to not waste my data.I downloaded fdm by googling for it, downloaded the 64bit version, and its strangely inaccessible.using touch curser of jaws I can read through the application but pressing alt or alt f doesn't bring any sort of menu or file menu and downloading and changing options is no where around.perhaps its to do with the latest version?If that's the case could someone upload a recent version of a accessable one or suggest another download manager?I can always go the IDM root, but I am trying not to have pirated stuff around. grryf

 then something you can let go when the staff wants to ride your arse like a control freeque,and have this attitude that screems we don't give a fuck about you,the player we will do as we like, do as we say or fuck off. point in case, darks interaction and mine with the staffers.In a way its fare enough, your game, you can do as you like, however why have it released for others to play if players have no freedom and if they do its the kind of restricted  freedom that's no kind of freedom at all, but then again. no wonder its playerbase is just so so, with the hosts like that.I speak of numbers here, like I said the playerbase is actually quite good. that is the people that play this game are a friendly bunch. and not apt to act like assholes any chance they get to do so.Dark, cosmic rage eventhough is a little buggy, I say is coming along far better then SC or miriani, as lomg as its admins keep on the right track, focus a little more on fixing bugs 
 first rather than releasing activity after activity it can get quite good, but as for SC you don't need to change the UI. all you need is a little trigger to fix the combat tracking.SC is actually a good game,its just the staff that might put me off,sooner or later.I submited a profile years ago,created a character of course at that point. didn't do much with it, as in nothing at all, and it got deleted. fare enough.I started playing after reading this topic,asked if it could be restored,was told no. so I decided I'd create the same cha as in same profile and all with the same name with the dates updated.now see the reason for the rejection of the profile which they had accepted before.We were going to check this profile properly and give you feedback on what issues needed addressing, but your support ticket informed us that this profile was used for a different character.and I have been trying to explain it to them that this prof
 ile wasn't used for a different character, but the same cha that I didn't play at all and which got deleted. essencially this is the same character with the same name and since I didn't play with it at all, there shouldn't be any issue of other characters or RP being disrupted.they insist on a new profile essencially forcing either paraphrasing of the whole thing, or just play a different type of character just because the hosts want to be techniqual. RP is fine, forced RP as in mo OOC permited can be stomached for once,but this play my way,do things my way is what's not acceptable.And hell, their message states quite clearly that if I hadn't informed them of it they would have had a look on the same profile and let me know if there were any issues and accept or reject it after. grryf

Ahoy Guys!Well I thought I'd post a chatty update lol.I've been practicing my mandolin which has been awesome. I'm slowly learning the battle of evermore by led zeppelin which is an awesome mandolin song.I've been reading some awesome mystery novels right now I'm reading the kept woman by karin slaughter. It's very good so far very scary and fast-paced.I'm happy to say my dad is recovering from his heart surgery well. He's home and able to walk around and getting stronger. He's a lot better than the first time I saw him in the hospital which I'm glad he's come a long way.

Hi everyone!I've been thinking about taking piano lessons. I'm good on stringed instruments so I thought I'd try my hand at piano. I have some questions. First what is a good quality but affordable keyboard? I don't have room for a piano in my house so I thought I'd learn with an electric keyboard. Also to any of you on here who play piano I'm wondering how do you keep track of notes? For me with a guitar it's easy but I have no experience doing this while playing a piano. Also if I learn on an electric keyboard can I transfer those skills to be able to play a regular piano?Thanks.

Joseph,In Shades of Doom, a self-voiced single player audio game, you play an unnamed male character who makes a heavy breathing sound when very injured.He also screams when hit, and makes a dying cry. In  Mysteries of the Ancients, Tomb Hunter, a female hero screams when killed, grunts when landing from a jump, and curses when something bad happens.I could imagine 2 or 3 different voices to pick from for setting your character's battle sounds.

Somewhat major spoilage ahead.I'm getting stuck on the garea with the 7 stones in 8-1.  I assumed the iea was to jump on the stones going form left to right, bt that most definitely is not working.  I assume the o ne at the very right end is supposed to give you some sort of hint, but the translation is abismol on that one and I can't mae heads or tales of it.As a P.S. has anyone compiled any sort of list on what the dial opens up?  I shutter at trolling through 104 other leves to work out what happens to each one with each setting of the dial.

Would be cool, I think anyway. Say two male voices and two female, have sounds for attacking and being wounded. And if you get ambitious... have them vocalize the name of any specialized techniques or spells, thouggh that may be more than you want to do given how many different classes there are, not to mention probably a little too close to every single Japanese video game in existence. lol

@post 4 that's understandable though. See, unlike Sam Ivan doesn't have STW with the STW store and upgraded accounts and other paid services. A Small Problem

Hello.I've started getting lessons from musicvi.com and there great! I get them from bard mostly which is nice. Anyway I wanted to request some lessons and I sent an email. He told me to go to his private lessons section where lessons can be requested. I can't find the private lessons section on any part of the website so I'm wondering does anyone else who uses these lessons know where the private lessons section is and if so can you post a link to it for me? I feel a bit sheepish.  The reason why I wasn't getting past task 3 was I was landing at the wrong airport.  Apparently the airport I had been landing on and the correct one had very similar-sounding names with the Sapi speech engine.  All's well that ends well.

Munawar was gonna sell the rights to tdv off to another dev, but there have since been no takers. Now that we have Eurofly, however, and that and Zero Sight are the only other major audio flight simulators around, perhaps those two may be interested? Not sure. Munawar's still active on Twitter, though, just not developing games.

Great job man!But I have some issues with the game and my computer, so let's get technical! It's better if I start out at the beginning.Me and my friends were on teamtalk, when my friend showed me your fantastic game! I got it downloaded, and bought the 5 dollar translator, with the jgt add on for NVDA. I started the game up, and my friend helped me get the dict.dat file in the data folder. lonched the game for the first time, and, it was bad! No sounds what so ever! I talked to my friend, and he gave me a copy of his game file, and, wiew! It worked! I had all my game sounds! But the fun doesn't edd there! I start playing the game, having a fantastic time when, oops! I start getting errors! Sometimes, errors, that kick me from the game. You'd think that'd be the wo
 rst of it, but no! Sometimes, I get errors that delete my save file! Yes, it actually get's deleted! So good ol me gets a backup, the same happens again. I get really far, and it kicks me from the game, deletes my save file. One time, I tried to back up my new saved data, but, it gave me an error message and my file is deleted! 3 times, yes 3 times! I got my save file deleted, all in one day! I would start at stage 13, go all the way to stage 18, and what kind of stuff that would happen, my file get's deleted! I came here, because, this is the last straw for me! I'm telling you, if this happen's again, i will litterally, crack my head open and turn my brain into split slimes! Why does this game hate my computer? I am running a 32 bit system, windows 10. Me and my friend exchanged game files again, no luck. Please, oh god, please help!

I beat Octoross twice using "dream teams" - that is, stuff imported from other save files, stuff with nicely balanced stats or good moves or both - so kudos for winning there. And yeah, the fight against Octoross when he uses your own stuff against you gets murderous if you do it wrong.In my current playthrough, I've been messing around on floor 2 of the volcano. I beat the second stadium with my weakest team ever: Bulpine level 22, Jiminar level 21, Skirial level 22, Murkit level 17, Chingle level 19, Zimbat level 13. Let's just say only Bulpine survived, and it was a damn near thing.Did not realize Magic Lights was 70% accurate. I thought it was 90. I think Subliminal Radio Wave is 90, but I'm gonna check that on Skirial shortly.I'm actually taking time to catch/raise stuff outside the main team right now (and the team I mentioned a minute ago is not the main one, really). I 
 want to be basically ready to get Mutmo as soon as I hit Orianda, and I think I can be. I've already got Zintrabat, Feefeye, Pandourbit, Erroir, Murkit and Jiminar, and am working on Lavalan (Larvae is level 24). I can't get Embird or Drabao yet, so I'll worry about them when I get there. I have a Lonar, which I can trade for Autoson whenever I want to (was planning on testing him out anyway)...but I want to use the Lonar in the hideout, since Quake will wreck two of the three scaled fights.

Math-ml should work in doc files or websites, not sure on pdf's though. Math-ml is the what the screenreader utilizes to read math equations.

After a lot of grinding, wasting time that I could of used to work on an essay that I wasn't supposed to start, I beat Octoross in the Sqien Path, meaning the time where you're supposed to lose! It was hard, but I eventually did it. This is with the team I had created for the challenge, plus a couple that I dropped after beating him because I thought they were a bit strong for the team. All of them were level 24 or 23. And yes, I used level up herbs. I got the team by trading between the 2 files. One with an almost complete Manapedia, and one after the first stadium was complete. I'll say now, the grinding took a lot of time that I could of used for English, math, or work but I didn't have any real work accept that english that I wasn't even supposed to start. And their's a positive and a negative to beating him. Well we know the positive, the ability of beating him, all the extra exp and gold, but the negative. Fighting your own team outside the tunnels. That was a pain, and Yavon's Manamon got wrecked by my giant from the unknown gifts. Beast. He power kicked Yavon's fyste, then my Decist owned his Eagala with Ice Cutter for maybe 110 damage? His Friggle tanked a Power Kick, then died from an Ice Cutter like his other 2. And a positive to that, my Ratsal got a ton of exp and it was no problem to transform him. Octorosses Vybrogen and Recobrah were the hardest, mainly because the only one I had that could take hits and do good damage was my transformed Boibul, they can tank hits, and do pretty good damage in return. To prove this, here is the audio file of me beating him. Joseph, those do indeed seem to be the two schools of thought when it comes to main characters and rpgs. But for this game, in tterms of vibe and style... I think the way it is currently is fantastic. Action rpgs are the ones who seem to like to have more voiced and predefined protagonists. Though I wouldn't mind the option of having a couple of voices to choose for my character during battle or even minor lines here and there. But another time, I suppose.

I have Leafox in this playthrough, so the only starters I would need for a potentially complete manapedia down the road are Aquaffe and Flammia. Those two, plus the ability to trade (and then trade back) my Bearran, Sheepit and Aperishian.I've made a decision. This is going to be my last playthrough. Said it before, didn't stick to it, so this time I'm going to. I'm going to complete the manapedia, and eventually I'm going to breed a good version of every manamon at final form, minus the mythicals of course. That's why I wanted to get Bearran, Sheepit and Aperishian traded and then traded back. I will eventually pump them all to, say, level 60 or s
 o, and then I'll have a nice and easy stat reference. Once this is done, or close to done, I can update my guide. My guide's basically done, but I know that some of my entries are a little threadbare, and I want to update them.So yeah. I will be super-excited to do this, and I should be easily at the point in the game where I can get Bearran and Sheepit by Friday.Remullion with Torch. Oh dear god. I think Remullion with Quake would be even better.

i mus admit to wondering what will happen when players do get to those very high levels but we'll soon find out exactly what happens. if the likes of bullseye etc can't handle it at lets say level 2000+ then yes I would say a rethink may have to be in order. but nobody is that high yet so I would say the jury is still out on that. we really need to see what will happen when we get that far.

You don't seem to have tried Ultra Power, all of the sound you said are coming from STW are basically the same in the old UP version. I hope someone still has recordings of the very old UP versions that were before September/October 2014 because I can't access my external hard drive right now. I still have the abandonware 0.22.54 in which you can create your own server and play the Ultra Power version Ivan used to create his code. I even put it on my Dropbox a while ago and posted it here, but Mason, for unknown reasons, flagged me for copyright infringement for uploading and publishing a version which was already flagged by him, its developer, as abandonware although the latest version at that time was paid, something Mason did several times after switching back to the freeware license. Just something that should be added, however, is that my DB links are, I mean from December 2014 until the current day, prohibited, even after I removed the files from my Dropbox, and th
 e reason wasn't even right and Mason still hasn't done anything to give me back the right to have my DB links active. The problem is that that version is on my external hard drive, which I cannot run at the moment due to a driver problem in my PC, depriving me of plugging/using any USB device. If there is no rule infringing in that, I promise I will do my best to find a way for uploading it to show you how the game was completely similar, to what Ivan is doing right now, except for some items he got from RedSpot.

yeah, jumping sound is taken from the same sound library as stw, some of the item consept are taken from rs such as the invisibility shields. the chat sound is from the same sound as stw too. some of the maps sounds are from stw, redspot, and sammy center. ivan is just taking the sounds sam is using for his game instead of finding own sounds lol, i mean it's ok to take some of it but ivan basicly maid his game with sounds from sam.

I can host, not until Friday as I said before. Need any of the starters, or something rare to catch? I know I have Aquaffe at level 11 or 12, and Leafox. They might be in their second transformations, but they can always be bred. I will be able to host around 5 or 6 PM, that's when I arrive home from school. I don't have any of the mythicals, but I can probably grab them off of another file. I might, and I say might, still have one somewhere after the master stadium is done, so maybe I'll be able to get some of the final transformations you can only find on the place to the final town you can get to in the post game. Also, I wonder what would happen if I used the Irod Pendant in Shadow Kingdom, maybe that's how I can capture Irodium if what I heard is true. I know you can't capture the version that you have to battle, but I've read about people using Irodium. If only I knew how to do this, I'd love, just love, to use Irodium somewhere in the game
 , wonder if you can use it in the master stadium. That would make it a lot easier, Draco Breaker, Dragon Fang, or any other attacks he has.

hi apronei figured it's time for me to give my thought about the new level system, i don't like it at all because if we think in a future when you reach level 1000 the difficulty of zombies increases every level, but you are only getting skillpoints ever 4 level, isn't that strange? if we now take a look what will happen at the end, you need to reset your char just to have something to play, we get too low xp from the mitions even when the zombies strenght increases, we don't get more rewarded for killing zombies which are more difficult etc. you're basicly making the game impossible for ur to play. now swamp has lost the gol for me. there needs to be more balance in it, it should be more realistic of  the difficulty of zombies increases as you get more skillpoints, not based on how many levels you have. that would balance up things and allowing people to continue play without getting restored. also, the rewards for everything you needs to be in
 creased as you reach new levels etc.

With steam guard, you would need to go to your email to get the 5 character code they send you, and then just type it into steam. After that, use your NVDA OBJ nav keys to get to the OK button, and left click on that.

Lol, horns were present in RedSpot but I'm not seeing them anymore. Remote guns are claymore remotes, no more, no less. This game is a clone for UP, not the new one, but the older one which was version 0.8 and before, dating from 2014. The sounds are all the same, plus some additions from RedSpot's older version's code, which Ivan has got/stolen from God knows where, the one he used for the RS cheat engine he did a while ago if anyone remembers. So basically if you're not allowed to steal the latest code of Ultra Power then you're not allowed neither to steal an older version, nor to mix two projects into one which you claim to be your own! Correct me if I'm wrong!

From time to time I get people requesting to have characters' names changed.  I normally say no because changing character names in Swamp takes a fair amount of work, but it is time to finally give people that chance.  What I'm doing is allowing players to request name changes for their characters using an in-game command./RenameRequest When you use this command, your character's name does not actually change.  Your character's ID and other info is logged into a file for me to look at later when I actually sit down to manually change the names.  Normal naming rules apply of course, and you won't get the name change if someone else already has that name.I'm not 100% sure when I'll actually sit down to change these names, but I plan to give people a little time to notice this so they can take advantage of it.

Hello. I am taking it upon myself to start this thread, a thread, I believe, sorely needs to be made. Today, the trailer for the story mode of Injustice 2 has been released, and the characters revealed in it are:BrainiacBanePoison IvyRobinand, my favorite, Darkseid.Other information we have is that there will be 9 DLC characters and instead of waiting a few months for an Ultimate Edition, you can preorder it now atInjustice.comThe roster is 31 characters large, I'm not sure if that includes or does not include DLC. Darkseid is DLC, keep that in mind, so the chances of him being the main villain are minimal at best. My one nerve about this game, however, is the gear system. Unless the game systems incorporate narrator/TTS support into these games, that will require lots and lots of sighted assistance. I am unsure if maybe NetherRealm will be incorporating a deeper, more innovative accessibility mode as well. What are your thought
 s? Oh, one more thing I forgot to add: This game will not, I repeat, NOT be available for PC at the current time. The release date is May 16th for consoles only.

Its tricky, needs your screen reader's cursor commands like jaws cursor or NVDA object nav, you have to out of the containing object and look around for the sidebar buttons, home, contacts, free flight, missions, settings, etc. no tab support in that thing

To elaborate on this idea of named/unnamed, voiced/unvoiced main characters, it seems to me that there are two schools of thought:One is represented by Bethesda's games like Skyrim, wherein you get to name your character, and the player dialogue is not voiced. This represents the more conventional way of doing things in an RPG - the idea being that the player wants to live vicariously through the character, meaning they want to be able to imagine the character sounds like whatever they choose. The ability to give your character whatever name you like, and to imagine whatever voice and inflection you like, is the option that is the most true to the "role-playing" aspect of the RPG genre.The other option is represented by games like Mass Effect, wherein you're playing a previously named character, with their own pre-recorded dialogue. In a game like this, you are role-playing, but in many ways you're playing a pre-defined role. This doesn'
 t afford the same sort of freedom to invent your character as in a game like Skyrim, but it comes with a different advantage - a far more cinematic experience. You almost feel less like you're playing a role, and more like you're watching this character's story unfold before you. We're open to doing something like this in a future project, but it wasn't the way to go for AHC.

You have to close the program again and relaunch it, it's just a one timer.When you are back in it, you will have to use your mouse to scroll around the arria to find a row of buttons on top of each other,I think they are from top to bottom free flight, missions, multy player, options, lessons, credit, but I am not sure on this one though.greetings Moritz.

True Assault. Very true. Even in Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, where the three possible player characters had preset names, the NPC's didn't call you buy name. Of course those characters did have some voiced dialogue, mostly if you tried to do something at an inappropriate moment or use special attacks when your magic power was too low or tried to pick up an item when you were carrying too much stuff.

Mainstream rpgs do it, so it's not that far of a stretch to imagine your character not being refered to by their name. Same with player characters not having voices... it's pretty staple in mainstream rpgs that any character you create never usually has a voice, and you only get to pick one for combat at best, or if there is minimal dialog in the game. Or, in more cases, I've seen a simple lack of any sort of voiced dialog in favour of text boxes simply to make things easier for developers.

I see a slight problem with naming you're char. No one will speak to you by you're name. And that bothers me. I mean... if i want to make friends I would be wanting them to call me by my name. For shops, could you make so that each shopkeeper will only take the items that they specialize in?  For example, alchemists will only except potions and herbs,  weapon Smith's weapons,  etc.

Seriously, just tell me. Who will pay for a red spot's clone ? Believe me, I will not do it and No one should.Sorry for my criticism to this game who has some ideas that I would have liked to have in red spot like sound tracking and remote gun, but apart from that it has no originality compared to its predecessor.I think it's sad to get to that point, nothing more to say.

Oh I understand your question, Phil. Yes you get to name your main character whatever you want. The other party members have their own pre-set names because they're pre-defined characters. As for character building - yes, as is typical for the RPG genre, you start off by choosing a class and selecting starting attributes, and then as you level up you get points to increase your attributes as you choose.

Not yet, I can change it later though. It only plays if you've very close to a wall. Oh and there's a minor bug, it doesn't apply to you guys since its visual but I noticed there's a bug on the options menu... forgot to fix that derp. I'll add an option to disable the wall sound in the option menu. I'll also find a better sound effect.There is also the ability to place down audio bookmarks while on the overworld for navigation purposes. To place a bookmark I believe it's shift, and press ctrl to clear all your current bookmarks.Certain items you can push. You can push a chair in the first map (although it doesn't have a label yet), and you can push the statue on the map with Mike's house (this has a label, when you approach it it describes the statue. You can push it to the right, and underneath the statue is an item).For the bird watching the birds only make noises when they fly away right now; I want to hav
 e them have the actual bird calls, or at least reproductions of them, so that you can identify a bird from its sound. When you're close to a bird, if you have the bird guide in your inventory, simply use it to record a new bird.You can also use an item that you set in the item menu in the overworld using backspace; if it has an overworld effect it will trigger when you press it.Oh and one last thing - aura color of the party is much more intuitive this time. The first character uses their Red value as the aura's red value, the second is with green and the third is with blue.
