I'm using the jgt addon to translate the game, but for some reason the numbers for speed limits are still read in japanese. That's weird and also I never know what the speed limit actually is. @aaron, sorry to hear about the bug, there do seem to have been things going around, indeed the reason my friend couldn't help with my new desktop previously is he's had quite a bad bug himself. As to books about disability, obviously since it's my research interest I've read several. I saw a play last year "the strange affair of the dog in the night" which was about an autistic boy and was amazingly good, also I can highly recommend skallagrigg by William Horwood which is about both disability and computer games, my wife read it recently and was amazed. @nocturnus ouch! I'm wondering if you've offended any deities recently since it seems your cursed with floods. I hope things get sorted out this time too, I definitely know what a pest building maintenance and the like is. I went to Florida myself when I was 14 and did all the disney stuff, indeed I still have the cuddly Simba I bought back with me :d. Mrs. Dark woul
 d love to go at some point, and particularly go along with me, though time and money are a bit of a pest with that sort of thing right now, even for going to Euro disney in France, (which was nice but nott a patch on the real thing). Things here have been interesting. mrs. Dark has started her refresher training with a cane which is good, though she can't have lessons quite as often as necessary. I'm working on another book review, this one for a childhood favourite, Dianna Wynn Jones tale of time city, and I've started Cell by Steven King. I'm not sure so far, since there's been so much zombocalypse kicking around that the hole "shock! everyone in society has become violent killers!" just isn't that shocking, , but equally I'm only about an hour in and things are only just kicking off so we'll see. Mrs. Dark and I have also started Douglas Adams Last Chance to see, a documentary he made in 1990 where he wanders ar
 ound the world searching for endangered species. It's the sort of thing that is both extremely funny, and very poignant at the same time, especially since I first heard it when it was broadcast (with a new afterward detailing how the species mentioned are getting on now), following Douglas Adams death in 2001. Actually i listened to it on the bus my friend and I got down to London to protest the iraq war, particularly because I had very long hair at the time, the bus was extremely crowded, and I couldn't sleep because some over large oaf sitting next to me kept putting his elbow on it .

As we would sy in England, best of British, ie, best of british luck to you. I have extreme doubts over whether any good will come from the mainstream companies access wise. I will say it probably would be harder to make something like world of warcraft accessible than it would be to build something from scrach simply because of the way the 3d graphics and the game mechanics are programmed, and the same likely will go for star citizen. Still I will say indi projects are getting more ambicious all the time, and I wouldn't be surprised if something turns up. Probably not audio world of warcraft or skyrim, but maybe something smaller scale but just as enthralling.

You can find links to all of these in the audiogames.net database on this site, just use the dropdown box on the front page. You can also go to the "search games" link on the front page and use the dropdown box to search for a specific genre of games. Genres you might be interested in include mmorpgs and muds.Off the top of my head, actual audiogames with sound include Redspot, survive the wild, Swamp, castaways, castaways 2 which is now in beta, crazy party, palace punchup, jungle, Rs games client, Quentin C playroom, Top speed 2 and 3, galaxy ranger and lords of the galaxy, (I might have missed a couple). I'd personally especially recommend Swamp and Crazy party, though I've also heard good things about survive the wild. There are then also a large number of muds. These are multiplayer online worlds where you play in real time with many other gamers, which are usually played in text, but some have sound packs written for them 
 that you can install to make the text more interesting. Alteraeon is a mud, but it has such an extensive sound client it might as well be considered a full scale online audio mmorpg, and even if your not interested in text games I'd recommend it,  though there are also many really good muds in pure text too. There are then a lot of games you can play in your web browser with your screen reader. noteable entries include Sryth, core exiles, warriors 2, puppet nightmares, Vandetta crime, kingdom of loathing, metroplexities and drakor, though there are many more. Lastly, if you have access to Ios, there are a number of Ios games with multiplayer components such as the battle and conquest games lords and knights and celtic tribes, the maffia game turf wars, or the games from ucon games. hth.

Greetings all. I've ran into a bit of a snag which i'd like to ask you all about, I didn't want to make this change first with out asking you all. So, here's the problem. The problem is with the way this first person system works. While its nice to be able to turn about and such, its not really working all to well in the game at the moment. What i'm asking is if you guys don't mined if I just put the game back to the 2d grid system, and leave the first person stuff for future projects once i'm able to get a better grasp of it. This will require not very much effert, won't require me adjusting the space system which means you can still have your landings and launchings and all that stuff you've wanted, it'll just mean that the player movement and level design will be changed to make things easier. The advantage of this is that I can push out the multiplayer really easily, since I could basicly just make it a much more stable version
  of dmnb with a few alterations, since I still remember well enough of that game to add in the stuff we lost, but at the same time, it all won't restrict my ability to add project alpha storyline elements to the game. As for the death match mode, if people are still intrested in it, I can split that portion of the code off and make it into its own seporit project. I'm having to restructure offline mode anyways again, since the offline server being used as an engine approach didn't work neerly as well as I would have liked. I could make these changes right now and push out the beta game sooner, I just want your guys opinion first.

ah, well I'm sorry my friend aprone, but no dragons in this world, but rather starships aplenty to do everything from mining and trading right on up to combat both in ship and planet side and station side on foot. If you were to reinstall windows, that would imply wiping your hd and starting over. You could try cloud solutions if you really want to, backblaze is a good start at pretty affordable pricing. It depends on what you want, honestly. If you want full control over the medium, a hard drive is what you need. You wanna put your trust in a cloud service and hope it stays up for a long time, then go for that. Believe me when I say that I've had cloud services bale out on me before, and it royally sucks. What I mean, they close their doors with an unreasonable time to download your data before they cut power to their drives, kinda gives the impression that some of these services run without any concern for your data.

@Dracoselene89, still working on the manage the thickblood tavern, I'm not entirely sure what to do for it@Soul Keeper, peasants are the only unit that actually earns you money aside from bandits, you would generally protect them and send your fighting units, as the soldiers are supposed to protect the people, I will later add some way to choose the order of who fights but for now peasants shouldn't go first I think @Majno, I will have to investigate further, the sub-captian thing is randomly generated though but that must be on the lords screen so it's some kind of issue with lords information@Dracoselene89, yeah as soul keeper says this is the max in issue, the computer can't store any more data in that byte so it bugs out@Majno, I will change this in the next version so that animation settings will be saved

OK, prajwal, farhad, that'll be enough out of both of you. I'm perfectly capable of developing and getting a good game out with out having an annoying aubsessive fanbase. You will not get the game when you want. You will get it when I feel its suitable for players and when i'm sure its not going to start causing problems. So sit down. Go find another game to play. I'm sure you won't drop dead if the game takes a few months to come out. For the record, it is not necessary to have to post a superb or good post every time I update the topic, nore is it really required to defend me the minute someone questions me like i'm the god of all games. Maybe you should be able to breed dragons and race them in tournaments too.  Every dragon should be unique, with 100 or 1000 different kinds, and you need to be able to ride them in a fully seamless 3D environment on any planet that you happen to be on.  Each of separate galaxy or star system should let you fly around in an entirely new world, without waiting around for long loading times.  Actually no loading at all is probably better.It seems like everything is in order.  Just grab someone to throw this together and we can all have loads of fun!

only problem with vip and nvda is that nothings labeled in character creation when creating new muds but that isn't really a problem it doesn't take much to figure out where to put things there was a thing with always repeating your commands you type in but I can't actually remember how I fixed it

Guys, for all of you wanting to get into simming, I'd recommend you start with reading the iyp manual cover to cover.  That will get you started more then we can.  robert has done an amazing job at documenting everything.  As for why you can't get iyp to install, i can't help you with that.to get started, by fsx: se, iyp and fsuipc4.  After that, everything is optional.

hello there everyone. I think I'm going to take the very wise advice of putting our virtual world on the pc first. I'm going to extend the invitation to all of you, the audio gaming community and you whom I consider my blind gaming friends to do the coding and build the world. I'll try to come up with something of a storyline for the lore of the world. I can tell you that we're going to have full day and night cycles, seemless real time events with no load screens, you'll be able to walk around inside your ships while traveling through space to another galaxy or star system or even shipwreck. This world will be huge. And yes, before you ask, I've gotten some of my inspiration from star citizen a game which sadly will not be accessible to the blind but is still in development. And I don't know how to get in touch with the developer Chris Roberts to encourage him to make the world accessible because the account registration process isn't acces
 sible to the blind either. So I'm guessing that my next step is to come up with a good storyline, or at least the start of one, and then once I've come up with one, would you like me to post it here so you can all read it and contribute ideas and suggestions? I'm going to make this world player driven in that we'll all be able to shape it and grow and expand it. We'll be able to build buildings and be able to buy land and build on it. Enough people know this secret that I don't feel I'm spoiling anything here... if you win the game with a specific type of character surviving until the end, you are treated to the true ending story.  If not, then you are given an ending but it is a short watered-down version of the ending.  So yeah, win, but then also try to unlock that true ending if you can.

I have found a way to get all zygarde cells, you will have to install homebrew on your 3ds, it's easy to get.Then you have to get the jk's save manager to export your save. Export your save and put your sd card into your computer. You will need to have pkhex to open your exported save (it is accessible) then click zygarde cells, then shift tab until you hear collect all and then save that. export your save again then import your save with jk's save manager in the homebrew launcher, load up your game and bam!

Those behavioral attributes should be totally random each time a character is created by the game.  If it seems to be the same from game to game, it should only be by coincidence.  Even if you keep names in the name-list, characters created and given those names should still have completely random attributes.

Hi,I have posted in another thread but I guess more people might see this hear. I am new on here, 14 and from the Uk, totally blind. I am looking to get into Microsoft fsx as I have always loved aviation, but I am not sure how to do it. I was wondering if, at some point, someone could help me with the setup and installation, as I don't know for example how to prepare the simulator for the addon iyp and how to get started. I would love to get in the air and be able to fly, with as much realism as possible. I'm sure i will have to learn the game and it will take time, but I'm looking forward to the challenge. If someone is experienced with Microsoft flight sim and at some point could help, or post telling me what to do whatever's easiest then that would be great.Thanks.

Hey Aprone, I downloaded and tried out ALL of your games, meaning those present on the Kaldowski (your) webpage.There are 3 games which I found interesting.Although I am generally not found of crafting/combining based games, I must admit Revelion is quite a good one of that genre, especially for not being rushed by time, (like by many recent, "modern" survival games in real time, but have all the time to think,, asnd try to figure out your next combination try.Tripple Triad is a very intelligently planned/designed board/card-battle type game, it also requests clever planning and much thinking, and it's luckily turn-based as well.I just wonder why you didn't include the possibility of playing multiplayer-online into it,mucj more fun would be provided that way...meaning playing against real people instead of dumb and naive AIs!However, the very most pleasent surprise for me was Paw Prints...now that is definitely my type of game!

(at least that's how I usually feel abut non-sandbox-type games, and despite all the random events, making the game less predictable, Paw Prints is still a game with a clearly defined end-goal))Surprisingly, by my 1st try, the old Lady called Debbie turned out to be the most survivable of the group, (this also gave me a clue about the identity of the "true God", despite her advanced age, limited task-possibilities due it and all her wounds/injuries, she managed to last for 31 days even, and reach the 7th from 15 featured game locations. issue with bt sync

yo all, so i'm having a problem with bt sync, whenever i try to open it i'm getting a dialog which tells me that i should select the standard sett up or the secret one, but now to the issue, i'm not able to move somewhere else even when i press the tab key and using cursers etc, it just keeps remaining on the box with standard sett up, i've used both jaws and nvda but it's the same. i've also tried to reinstall it but it didn't work. is there a way to solve this or is my bt sync version wrong?

Caccio,    When it comes to Triple triad, I want to start out by saying that the actual game mechanics were not my own design.  Someone here on the audiogames community asked me to build an accessible version of this game.  Triple triad is a sort of mini-game that has shown up in many mainstream titles such as Final fantasy, and also has its own stand along game on phones.  The reason I wanted start out with that is that Triple Triad is the only games (that I can remember) where I literally took someone else's game remade it to be blind accessible.  I just don't want anyone to misunderstand and give me undo credit for the game's mechanics.So with that being said, I have had a plan in place (for a long time) to build a large game-room service.  It would be populated with many small multiplayer games, with this Triple triad game being one of them.  Because it is waiting around for me to finally get that whole syste
 m up and running, there is no multiplayer feature at the moment.Paw prints is one I enjoy as well.  I love it's brutal nature where you're forced to make tough life and death choices for your people.  The "Jeremy" name was just an example I threw into the "names.txt" file which you can find in the Paw prints folder.  The names.txt file allows you to set up preferred names for your team, which will be chosen from before the game resorts to random names.  You can alter that file to fill in your own names, or just delete the names and let the game pick random names for you each time.The people from the game are chosen randomly, so they aren't based on specific people I know.    It also means any conclusions you had made about the game's "true god" aren't accurate if you were basing th
 em on that assumption.The story line of Paw prints is tied in with multiple other games.  I also apologize in advance for some of my older games, since I was still trying to get the hang of making accessible games.  The quality of some of them is a bit on the low side (Yes Daytona, I'm looking at you!).  ROFL!Since I brought up the Daytona game, that's actually one of the games tied into the Paw prints story line.  Daytona, Castaways, Castaways 2 (which was released as a beta and not on the website yet), and Paw prints all take place in the same universe.Separately from Castaways...  Lunimals, Preludamals, Triple triad, Dog who hates toast, and Dark ruse all take place in the same universe.I'm sure I'm forgetting some other game tie-ins.  I've also started and stopped on a handful of other games that fit into the Castaways story line, and I hope to revisit some of those eventually.  Basically I h

Hey Aprone, I downloaded and tried out ALL of your games, meaning those present on the Kaldowski (your) webpage.There are 3 games which I found interesting.Although I am generally not found of crafting/combining based games, I must admit Revelion is quite a good one of that genre, especially for not being rushed by time, (like by many recent, "modern" survival games in real time, but have all the time to think,, asnd try to figure out your next combination try.Tripple Triad is a very intelligently planned/designed board/card-battle type game, it also requests clever planning and much thinking, and it's luckily turn-based as well.I just wonder why you didn't include the possibility of playing multiplayer-online into it,mucj more fun would be provided that way...meaning playing against real people instead of dumb and naive AIs!However, the very most pleasent surprise for me was Paw Prints...now that is definitely my type of game!

Well, I'd start with the pc first.Then maybe android next easiest.And then apple.Cover all those and you have most covered apple can be a bit challenging but still.Its the way sonnar are doing it in fact they at first were thinking of not even doing pc but still I am happy they ar doing it.As for universal windows apps and consoles, just see.Not many blind people will have a console so if you are making it for someone with sight to play then maybe.IF a blind person can play it that is also good but not everyone has the consoles.I don't for example.

Well.Sonnar interactive is making a cricket game which has coreamode as well as a 1 on 1 vs mode and a couple other modes.The teams can be up to 11 players and you can do that.I think its out on android allready I think its been released, just look and see if it is but don't quote me on that.We have had major rejections from apple so it aint up there yet.The pc version while really close is still not in the public just yet.For the user with dropbox.Yeah dropbox interface has got a bit mangled.If you change the 0 at the end of the dl= line to 1 then it will download.Its worth noting that if you do that to a dropbox folder dropbox will zip it and download it for you to.The cricket voices are mostly uk based though, it was created for the newzealand blind cricket team for its tourniment in india as of last week.Its not the best it could be but its quite close.

Hi, i'm new on here. I'm 14 and from the uk, totally blind. I have loved aviation for ages, and have been playing eurofly which, for me, just doesn't have enough functions. So, I would like to start whith Microsoft flight simulator and iyp, but I have never done anything like that before. I am not sure how to go about it, as in how to prepare the simulator after I have installed it and how to install iyp and to get it working.If anyone could help me at some point in the future to get it all working that would be great. Even a post detailing what to do could help me to get things up and running so I can get in the air and finally fly propally around the world.thanks.

I have updated post 1 with the google drive link to the folder housing the songs. the archive link will come later, but stupid parental control device combined with a shitty router are delaying it.also, this is the first update since the second one in which songs were removed. both versions of the barney opening theme were removed in a massive deletion frenzy/hacker attack. both may be reuploaded in the future.

hello there again, well I tried registering with tigsource to go on and maybe talk to some developers, but the registration process isn't very accessible. It not only gives you a security code, which was accessible enough to get through, but then they ask questions that ultimately had no clue what the answers were, I'm guessing to prevent spam. So that's a real downer. If anyone has successfuly registered with this site, please let me know. Have a wonderful day and I am not going to stop until we have our own real time virtual world that we can play and live in even if it's for the pc first instead of the xbox 1.

Well, the virus is gone from a long time, and now I have a stronger antivirus, since Note32 was the first to be infected with it  Anyway, re-installing Windows doesn't necessarily mean I'm losing the D drive, right? Well about doing a backup I can simply put my data on a cloud service if I really need to, but I was only asking whether it's possible or not to fix the problem without re-installing Windows. Anyway thanks a lot for your interest in answering my question!
