Hi Grryf. The justification for doing a separate page for the game is that people who do not fancy all the shenanigans with Japanese translation software probably would not look up the game if it is currently listed with its Japanese title and under the "Japanese games" genre, particularly given it is third in a series.On the other hand, If it has it's own page and appears under "rpgs" then it's likely  to be more widely noticed, plus I would like to highlight the work people have done in translating the game and encourage support for the project since it is something I certainly do appreciate.

Not sure exactly what your end point was there... lol. I'm not planning on getting a stock android device, as I said my debates are between the galaxy s7, Galaxy A5 or the oneplus line of phones, all of which are quite good as well.

Hi,Now many may not agree with my views/opinion exactly, and who knows they might be right,as I know of many people on this forum using android phones just fine,but...If you already have an IOS device to fall back on,and you have cash to spend and wouldn't miss it or couldn't use it on anything else,I'd suggest you go with a android phone preferably with android 7 preloaded.People praise the stock versions of android to heaven,and there are somethings that make a stock version really good, I.E better keyboard typing in android7, the samsung j7 on android 6 was so bad when it came to typing that it gave me fits. the moto g5 plus improves on that,at least enough that you don't feel like hearling the phone out of the window while typing on it. but when they say stock,its nothing but barebones software,so you gotta keep that in mind. Phones that are not stock do have some great functionality which you'll miss in its stock brothers lik
 e running 2 different instances of an app,secure storage,and so on. fingerlocking apps etc.I have used both samsung phones,and stock android phones, the cheaper end though or at least midrange I suppose some would call it, the j7, the moto g5 plus, oppo f1s etc,and have ended up feeling that it still needs improvement,could be better,or there's something missing in each of them.Obviously android accessibility is improving, but it has a long way to fly up to IOS. Hi Jarek, good to know.Well I have taken the plunge and bought the games since I likely would've done anyway after trying them as I do love the sounds and atmosphere. Here is a little more feedback: First menus: It would be nice to skip the intro credits when starting the ap. While I appreciate the work that the various organizations have put into the game (and I love the stereo of the logo), it is a trifle long winded to hear these every time. Now about the games: First, hunting, the graphics make this one rather easy, it might be interesting to have a night time hunting version for sighted players where you have nothing but the sounds. I played the game by sounds and finished it, then looked at the screen to see if there were any graphics and finished without missing a shot.Second, samurai dojo: This is a really cool game, but sometimes my taps do not register. On one occasion I got 412 taps, on another when I was tapping faster
  and the screen was a constant red I just got 170 or so. Given it is possible to literally drumb your fingers on an IPhone screen, you might  either consider making the game a bit more sensitive or letting the player know that tapping too  quickly can confuse the game. Next when playing Simon I had a rather odd occasion when the background  for the simon menu started up mid way through the game. I am not sure if this is   intended to try and distract the player (like those occasional clanks in samurai dojo), but it was a little odd, particularly since it did not stop until I actually went back to the games menu. Bomb disarmer: I really like this game, particularly the atmosphere and quotes. one thing I did wonder though is if you considered a couple of options to make it slightly different from being essentially a random version of Simon. One idea for example might be to have the buttons have different labels depending upon the bomb. So i
 n some bombs you have a sequence of tones as you have now, in some bombs you are told letters a b c and D, in some bombs numbers 1 2 3 and 4, in some bombs Greek letters alpha beta gamma and delta, perhaps even with eccentric sequences like earth air fire and water, or Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday  etc. Since it would always be a sequence of four and the four would always be in the same places, eg, first on top left, second top right, third bottom left, fourth bottom right the player  have to work out what was where according to the new sequence, thus making it an exercise in split second logic as well as memory. I'm afraid with memory I am still finding the bug related to where to touch the boxes a little problematic, especially on the final 24 box round. With the Casino games you might also consider offering a few prizes which players could buy with money. These could include Simon Soundpacks, but also other unlockables for different ga
 mes, for example some different ambience environments for Samurai showdown to put you off your swinga little more or some alternative sound schemes for memory (the animals are definitely fun but you could sort different things in boxes).You might even consider having specific collectables or little trophies to buy, just for collection freaks.Definitely a great job with the games, thanks again, I'll be looking forward to seeing new additions.

A tripple A title would be a game like Bioshock or Final Fantasy Xv. As Joseph said, AHC, as good as it sounds, is considered an indie game because it's developed by an independent group of people, not one particular company. $1 couldn't fund a tripple A title... which is why they can afford to charge so much more than this game. As has already been said, people are surprised at this game costing so little because in this case, we aren't going by standards for the audiogame market... a game like GMA Tank Commander or Troopanum 2, which are both $35, would be worth maybe $10-15 if it was sold on the mainstream market.

Hi,I ehh don't find the recognise or open with Seeing AI option in my more options, besides that though, it works really well.In some instences TapTapSee does better I.E tells me the color of clothing I am wearing,but it was quite a surprise that the Seeing AI was able to hit on my right age just by my picture, perhaps I just look right for my age, eh? pah! to the $100 for knfb, this blows it out of the water.Grryf

Looking to get into something with decent accessibility but isn't a cheap phone, yet won't break my budget. Something mid tear, like the Samsung Galaxy a5 or anythine above that... the oneplus 5 is also appealing, if I want to go up to the top end. As much as I would like an s8, I just couldn't afford that beast right now. What are peopls' suggestions, and are there any android groups or anything similar where I could discuss how to break into android with other VI people?

I think you misunderstood me. Because the OCR function in most OCR based reading apps is done in the cloud, I won't use them on documents that might contain information about myself I'd rather not share with just anybody.KNFB Reader, on the other hand, is safe because its OCR function is done right there on your device so any personal information it reads doesn't go anywhere unless you want it to.

I'm afraid I still have seen none of these add videos at all after several tries today I keep being told adds are not available. while I am not against the adds system, a free to play system which is effectively unusable is not a good thing and might make some players feel they are being cheated extremely, even on a demo basis being asked to play a game once and once only before having to pay is rather stingy to say the least.I would suggest myself that if the current system is to remain, it needs to be made reliably usable like the bit coin adds system used in the blindfold games (which is at least possible to use).]Similarly, the blindfold games start the player with ten tries at each game, not just the one before they must start using the adds. if the current adds system cannot be made more reliable, then I  firstly suggest firstly giving   five tries at each game rather than just the one which is a much fairer amount for a player
  to determine  if they want to buy the game, and secondly, consider  the daily free gifts extra plays of games if you haven't bought them. Actually that would be a nice idea, each day, the player gets three random plays on the games, thus giving variety in the gifts, either that or allowing a player to buy extra plays at the games with large of casino game coins, say 100 per play of the game. complaint over .

Hi pgruenbaum. I think a human narrator would be absolutely awesome! Lots of people hear love audiobooks and would much rather listen to a real person than a synth, likewise it'd make the voice  feel more like talking to a human gm than talking to a computer. While I can certainly see situations, eg when your hands are busy that voice control would be a useful thing to have, generally speaking it's not difficult  at all read the standard text versions of the gamebooks. The developer of Delight games made some handy access fixes, first to the Android version, and most recently on Ios which has the delight games very readable.however the human voice would add something very unique and new to the game I think and something which would catch a lot of people's interest.

There has traditionally been some efforts made to get  roguelikes more accessible, but the problem ultimately is that your dealing with one character in a  topdown view in a very large world which is randomly generated. Look cursers to move around from the players' position and say distance say to nearest object, I even saw one which tried to give ideas of the rooms. None have been quite successful as yet, and I suspect until someone comes up with a full screen sized braille display that would let you have  much by way of braille characters on screen as a sighted person gets print characters, they probably won't be.

For a long time, it's been a standard cultural practice to try and make prices sound less than they actually are. So instead of saying ten pounds, you say nine pounds ninety nine.I remember once in the nineties one extremely stupid example on a tv advert said "yours for under eighty pounds, yes for only seventy nine ninety nine!" I don't think anyone is actually ever really fooled by this at all, certainly for me it's become standard practice to round any price upwards, but the cultural tradition is now so ingrained that people can't seem to be able to stop doing it. One of these silly occasions where the hole world has rather thoughtlessly adopted corporate insanity and the belief that customers are idiots almost unconsciously.

How do developers decide the prices of products?

Hi all!So this is something that has puzzled me for a while. How do developers come up with the prices for whatever it is they are selling using http://developer.paypal.com? I have noticed that they have a tendency to choose amounts that end in .49 or .99, or less commonly .95.Could someone explain the process of how and why this method has been used?Many thanks!

When you say that this app has no personal data, then it would be the app for you? Which app has your personal data? Also, Microsoft is a big company, similar to Apple. They make a boatload of money, so they can afford to put it out for free. Others, like KNFB reader rely on purchasing the product to increase income. Others, like non-profit rely on donations to keep things running.

I haven't tried bar codes yet but will just out of curiosity, I have an ID Mate Galaxy for those, though this app may be a good stand in for when I don't have the Galaxy with me.But I did have a chance to use it's short text function and it worked great for identifying a DVD from Netflix.Unlike what someone else suggested, I don't see this replacing other apps like KNFB Reader. For one thing, since the OCR function in Reader is done right on your device, I'll use it when scanning something like my mail. But for something with no personal data this app will do nicely.

I mean, the first Harry Potter game for PS1 used lots of audio cues and some easily sonified visual cues, like the differently-colored sparkles to indicate targets for specific spells. At the same time, it's also a 3d platformer with timed puzzles. I know these can be made playable via just audio, but realistically, that brings us back to Dagonite's "develop a generalizable accessibility API" idea.But yeah, I think I'm in agreement with everyone who's posted here so far.

Well.I am pleased people are enjoying our game.jeong did the messages I post at you help, especially the one from, well if you got that message you would know where it came from.What was the reason this time As for the pc, jarek its good the old one is coming back.To the rest and sonnar, I do think that games that can be made to work in the pc and the phones should go and stuff you can't do with shouldn't be if that ever can be.In tests simon and bomb disarmour didn't work.For bomb disarmour we do need a code or tone sequence.I'd be in favor of ditching the phone tones and like in simon have different beeps and or tunes to make up.I'd like it if you could choose what sound you have, music, chime, old phone beeps, something like that.I am happy that the old version will continue even if its all we release for pc for the hub.I'd also like cricket to go on pc mainly because it 
 seems to work well on pc.The ball sfx can be a bit low though I figured out how to hit it.Never the less your ears need to be really good to play it

Hopefully. As for the keys, Dark, they weren't exactly hardware specific, indeed you couldn't even download! the full version of the game until you ordered it, because Che emailed you a download link along with a serial key. If indeed he did! lose the code due to a hard drive corruption, then there's not much anyone could do about registration even if the project had no choice but to abandon itself. Even if keys were being used to register the game, the license server would return with a nice error message. That's where the problems come. You could technically use your license key on as many computers as you need, but no server? no registered game whatsoever. Which is why, on a somewhat related note, Q had the right idea when he made Chicken Nugget, having a backup method to generate an offline activation key. If the server were to go down, all you'd have to do would be to manually provide the matching key to the one that would normally be retrieved from t
 he license server. If Che provided customers with a backup key they could use offline, customers would still be able to register their copy. There is apparently some trial mode for backup purposes if you don't activate right away, but that expires in 3 or so days, so is nowhere near a permanent solution.

The unfortunate thing is they have no control over those ad screens. Ads are ads, and the screen can't really be modified in any way. They all follow a standard protocol. Come to think of it, maybe 5 or 10 free plays of each game would be a good idea because of the ads.

@Dark, the current version uses the phone voice, so it's pretty similar to talkback. The differences are:1. The app can recognize voice input (you can say "1", "2", "3", or "4" instead of pressing a button). Although it doesn't currently work if talkback is on, we just discovered.2. Information on increased gold, morale, etc. is integrated into the audio. For example, after it reads about how you earned some gold, it then gives you a sound effect and tells you how much your gold has increased. The Delight Games app just displays your gold at the top of the screen.3. So far, many of our sighted testers say they would strongly prefer a human voice. So we may switch to audio with a human narrator for the next version.

I did hear something about a code crash regarding rail racer two's development, however I am still not sure about rail racer one, particularly if it works on windows 10.Myself I wouldn't call any developer who has done the sort of work Che did as "crap indeed I would imagine a little by way of interest and encouragement  the community would do a lot of good if he has experienced a setback with his code.Myself, I always remember che as a really decent chap to deal with, so hopefully he'll be back in touch sooner rather than later.

Something that isn't translated without auto translate running is in the combat menu where it used to say stuff like clear burn took you x amount of damage, it now just says took you x amount of damage, but doesn't tell you what. It doesn't matter to me now I know the game, but when I first started it was very useful to know what was killing me.

Seedship, single player text based space exploration browser game

I'm not sure if you'd call this a very short rpg, a tool or a gamebook, but it's a neat idea so I thought I'd mention it. The game is called Seedship and the start page is here. The basic idea is that you have a colonization seed ship and have to found a colony of people escaping from the  earth. The game ends when you found your colony, however since the planets are randomly generated and you  never know what you'll find, whether your colony is successful can be interesting, especially since you don't always know how good your ship's systems will be through the  ware and  tare of space travel. The game  is entirely text based with no sound, but entirely accessible since it just has links. Apparently it was created in a game creation language called twine which I think is somewhat similar to choice script, though from what I gather 
 Seedship uses far more stats, random generation and such to make it more of an rpg and less of a straight  gamebbook. What is particularly cool is that you can keep  a log of past missions and see how good your colonies are, well as long as you don't delete cookies etc. While not a long  game, this could be fun  a quick burst, and I can say I do like the writing and the choices.

Greetings all. Shields are now implemented. At the moment the flashfire class corvette is the only ship that has controls for them. Simply sell and rebuy your corvette's and you'll find a new shield option under tacticle in the command computer abord. Remember to deploy them before you go fighting npc ships in uncharted starsystems. In addition, npc ships if shot at will now stop what they're doing and go after their attacker.

I suppose this is a bug, but I consider it a bonus: During the second part of 25-3 where there are the three lifts, if you use a speed drink and it is still active as you go through the door to the next bit, which is where I think you fight a mud killer, the speed drink remains active for the entire rest of the level. You can even use other tactical items while the speed drink is still working. I don't know if it happens every time, but it happens a lot. Has anyone else had this?

Hey and good evening evryone.So yesturday I played around with killer instinct ones again and found a guide for the menus and actually won my first fight, well, i needed 4 atempts to do that.But, I do have some questions still remaining for the game.1. hi. at dark, dude, just, don't waste your time. i've sent him multiple emails, and between each email i was leaving like one year or some crap. so basically, he got like 3 emails from me, it doesn't look like he cares about it anymore. though i would appreciate if he at least would visit the ag forum so he can give us an explanation about it. because yeah, i'm one of the people who played the game, my uncle bought it for me, but the game costed as you said, $40 and e doesn't even think to put the licence server back up.infact, wait, i got an answer at some point, but the thing was that according to him, he lost the code for the game due to a harddrive failure. so i don't know what should i believe. he said that he's still working on it, but i've never heard anythin back about it.

Hi all. Yes, the game does work on Windows 10 perfectly. I am running rail racer 1.0. I emailed the developer about a week ago, but have got no response.  The game was dropped before I could even get a registration key. I think it is really unfair that when developers drop a game that they don't make it a band and where. I don't understand why.

I found a way to get facebook photos to reccanise but its kind of a round about way. You have to save the photo and then go into your photos and go to share. Then you have to go to recognize with Seeing AI you do have to inable this by going to more in the share menu.

Caccio, everything you say about happens just in a demo match. when you already play as a manager, you see fights almost like in WEBL. you need to open the fight page. then at the top you'll see the table which shows some info about fighters to compare, such as height, weight, and record. next you'll see fighters advantages analysis. for example there can be written something like "fighter 1 can use his height advantage to stay outside and win some points" or "fighter two is more experienced fighter, let's see if it helps". that makes watching your opponent's previous fights very important, you can find his weakest points. the last thing you see is the list with spoilers called "round 1", "round 2", ..., "round 12", "results". you need to click one of this links, and the game will show you comments for the round or the match's result. nothing hard.

Hi.the following is not to be taken as an offence, or down right critique about the project, but I have a question to ea accessible.what convinced the Madden NFL department to make a game like madden NFL, a game selling millions and millions of coppies each year and that just racks in huge amounds of cash in evrye year to make this game accessible to a player base which might just be a few hundred people small accessible? I would jump with joy if I can finally play a game from this series, but would it really make such a difference to EA if we also can play their games?It quite baffles me that a big developer like this comes over and asks for are feedback about this game, I can't just get my head around that fact.I also E-Mailed them my ideas, I hope I could help.Again, this is not offensive, I just want an honest answer.Greetings Moritz.

Changing email address

Hello.A forum member recently contacted me by the forum mail system asking if there was a way to check which email address they signed up with and change it if it was incorrect. The answer is yes. If you go to profile>identity, you can see what mail address you signed up with and there is an option to change to a different one.I answered  the email I was sent about this, however manifestly if the email address said person is using is indeed incorrect they will not get my reply  (since the forum forwards a notification and email to the registered email address for that account). I would contact the member via private message, however as they are using the forum mail system, I would guess they do not check their private messages. so, here is the confirmation for the person who contacted me whom I am not naming in case they  wish to keep the fact that they're in technical difficulties quiet.

Greetings all. For those of you who got stuck in creation, delete and recreate your chars. You'll find that the menu now properly shows up instead of requiring you to go to a creations terminal, in the future i'm looking at possibly just making the skills select screen a part of the actual creation process, along with first and last name and gender select. In addition, if npc ships can't find a target, they will now auto destruct, thus freeing up space in the db. Enjoy.

Hi.When the app picks up a bar code, you hear a beeping, when you come closer to the point that the app is able to fully read the barcode, the beeping gets faster, At one point, you will hear that little melody, the app is processing the barcode at this given time.Greetings Moritz.

Yeah Dark, I've also had the problem of having ads not available, though admittedly I was spamming the heck out of the ads to get free playthroughs before that, so I thought maybe I just ran out of ads and would have to wait a while before trying again. It's very likely the PC version will be out soon, with the old version of Audio game Hub there was a PC version which I liked a lot better than the IOS version since it was more responsive and had better sound.If you guys would like, I can try to make an audio tutorial/demonstration for Bomb Disarmer and Simon so you can hear them in action. I'll probably do it later today.Sonnar, I'll be sending you an e-mail shortly.

when scanning a bar code you will hear a beep. The faster the beep plays the closer you are to a successfull scanning. I place the item in my hand with the side that I think contains the bar code upwards and lift the phone about one foot moving it slowly in all directions until I hear the beep. Then I move it untill the beep is very rapid and then the scan will be complete. Amazingly I've managed to get the app to recognize my beer too
