I didn't notice any Ui change as regards the two major issues, namely the fact that those overlays are a pain to navigate, and the lack of visibility of personality/relationship stats with vo, but perhaps someone could contact the devs about those problems.

Yee gods McAfee! It caused merry hell back in 2004 when my stupid university network installed it on all machiens connected, then McAfee.  decided to crash my laptop by running at startup and crashing supernova, and I needed to go to a local computer firm to get the bloody thing uninstalled! Nice to know some things never change .The really ironic thing is, Apparently the network had had a virus which was the reason they installed McAfee, and yet the virus caused considerably fewer problems than McAfee.  did .Hope the narrator save mode business goes well and you rid yourself of the beast.

I usually focus on the stat needed for the boss without neglecting the others too much. You can see your weapon's endurance in inventory, even during combat, so I just check that every now and then, but yeah, some text indicating that an item is about to break would speed things along for sure.

@Ironcross it depends upon what your doing. I like the gecko since its a combat monster and don't mind losing the extra cargo space. In general cargo space is only useful if your trading or to save time when robot mining, if your just slaughtering for cash and prophet  it doesn't really matter how often you need to land. The one thing I do wish, is that there were some more ships between the cobra and the python with cargo  and maneuvering stats slightly higher than the cobra but without the advantages of the gecko. Say for example a rattler with steering 1.1, speed 1.1 and cargo 40 for 9 k or so.It'd also be nice if there was something that made asteroid mining or nebulae harvesting more lucrative with a bigger cargo hold, say an advanced mining drill or gas scoop that doubled the amount of gas/ore you got when you picked up something in a field or nebula, or maybe a collection drone that would fly out from the ship and quickly grab stuff for you.

@Aaron I bought the game straight off on my Iphone 8 and it worked fine, but obviously if there is a bug that would be a problem. @Keeweed understandable about the resurrect, its actually 49 p over here in Britain which is fairly cheap in and of itself, it just worries me in terms of games asking other prices. Well I got to pprogress 47 that time. I love all the different items and the need to manage what your doing. One thing I've not worked out so far is whether you need to put all your growth into the stat that the bos monster uses, or whether you can spare for other things. I've been going the hole hog so far which might be making life harder than it needs to be. It would also be nice if there was an indicator when your weapon was on its last legs, perhaps a warning the round before so you had time to flee? That was what killed me, my tower shield busting at the wrong time. Oh and I was rather amused when apparently I trod on the toes of a King Cobra .I also haven't worked out exactly how common certain items are, since right now it seems keys are really uncomon whilst torches and associated items are relatively common, then again since in my first game I was scrabbling around for a weapon, whilst in my next game I had weapons galore, I suspect its all part of the whims of the capricious God of random numbers .

I just wanted to add that my inventory was reset every time that bug occured. More precisely, I lose all items and get random weapons which I did not have. This is honestly making the gameplay impossible...Also, I confirmed that these were happening for one of other Japanese swamp players.

Accessible C++ IDE?

I know this question has been asked in the past, however I have a setup that is working, and was mainly wondering if there was an easier way. I will describe my setup below, be warned it's a bit strange possibly:Because our teacher requires us to use CodeBlocks, which as far as I can tell works terribly with NVDA when it comes to everything, but especially reading compilation errors.I write my code in regular notepad, and indent with the help of indent nav. When that's done, since I am doing most of this on a virtual machine, I run the code through GCC on the mac, to read the errors, and possibly fix things.If it runs in GCC, then and only then, do I run it in code blocks, and zip the resulting files created like our teacher wants.Is there an easier way? Because while I will continue doing this if I must, I would much rather not, if there is an easier alternative.As usual, sorry for my stupidity, thanks for the help if you read this! Maybe I'll update my signature...

Nyanchan, I am working on an issue that is causing lag for players at the North-West corner of some of the maps, but I don't think this is what you are experiencing.  I haven't had anyone else report the problem you're having.  Any extra info you could tell me would be helpful, especially any errors the game is giving you when you are kicked out of the server.  If your Swamp folder contains a file called Debuglog.txt, any errors should appear in there.

Meh, for the price macbooks go for these days, no thanks. I could get way more powerful hardware and a less closed source OS.Also, safe mode is an option you can try. The idea is to have it not run at all when your pc runs so you can nuke it without problems. Msconfig and services.msc isn't usually enough to make it not run for normal startup.Note that natively you won't have sound in safe mode. Apparently windows 10 is supposed to let you use narrator in safe mode though I haven't tried that.There is a, sorta hack-ish and kinda complex way to get sound in safe mode and it still works for windows 10. I wrote an instructional on this very subject.If you want to go about uninstalling it this way, you can find my topic about it. Please note, it's very likely to fail if you don't know what your doing. I assume no responsibility if you ruin your computer.I managed to nuke norton this way. Hope this helps!

For PPSSPP on Windows, you can open a game with Control+O, browse to the game, and press enter.If using NVDA and Windows 10, press Insert+R and NVDA will OCR the game screen, this includes menus. Which game are you trying to play online?I don't know how well PPSSPP works with Boots. I'd just use a PS1 emulator with the PS1 games. You can always try them on PPSSPP, though.

How do I rid myself of mcAfee once and for all

Those of you who have never heard of it, count yourselves lucky. Those who have  Heard the rumors that make you tremble with fear,  Comfort yourselves with the fact that you have never had to experience it. And those  Who have been struck, my thoughts are with you and all the  programs and software you lost.I'm not talking about some sort of monster. But a snake. One that waits in the shadows for it's moment. You may not even see it.  It is silent,  but it’s  bite  is deadly. And when it strikes, it will for ever remove a piece of  software from this world and your computer. No my  friends. It is not the worlds deadliest serpent I speak of.It's McAfee. Fricking McAfee. The snake and  parasite of anti-viruses. So, how can I get rid of it.  Since it’s completely in accessible, I can’t even uninstall it, much less change anything in it.  In the uninstall menu from windows settings, there are three programs, live safe,  web advisor, and security. I managed to get rid of security, but the other two are impossible. Any tips?

Hi,I can't unlock the full version. Do I have to play through the tutorial first? I am using an iPhone SE, and the unlock button is there but when I click it, I waited for around 30 seconds and nothing happened. The options button is on the bottom left, the unlock button is on the bottom right. Am I supposed to tap the unlock button twice to get the purchase dialogue to come up, because at the moment, it's just sitting in the main menu no matter what I do. I can start a new game but I'd rather unlock the full version first before diving in.

The hit sounds themselves are good, and would've been better if they were used in stereo. They lent more to the martial arts theme that the series has always been based on, rather than the hollywood style design that they are going for now which I don't like. Also, Scorpion's spear sound was different in MK 4. It came back with a slight varation in all three of the 3d titles. And yes, voices and the like were very eneric... but that didn't change until deception. I can tell who is fighting who in Deception, which is when they started giving most characters individual voices, only a few had identical ones. Bottom line, I personally think those sounds were better than the ones now. I could think of some dramatic martial arts fight sequences that could be done using those sounds.

To reply to some of the above:  at the moment the image files are planned as sprites in file formats e.g. gif or jpeg format.The graphics in dragon village can be seen in visual form in the program, not found as individual image files.My approach will probably be to release a basic version 1 and see if it is useful enough to upgrade   I would have to experiment to see if backgrounds are possible or whether they are too resource hogging, but layering of images is certainly possible.A tactile pegboard might be useful to picture or plan image creationAnd yes colours are totally possible, e.g. a yellow house with a red roof and purple windows, or a green dragon with blue eyes if you like.

Eh the 3d mk sounds felt too generic to me, the characters didn't even habe their own voices. Of course men sounded like men, women sounded like women, robots sounded like robots and bosses had their own voices but thats it. Hitting sounds were generic as they came and it wasn't eben in stereo. I think that if no one was using specials in a deception match, it would be difficult to tell who was who if you started watching mid fight. My fav mk sounds sets are from 2 and 3, and 9 and x. Also, scorpion's spear sound was the same from 2 through armageddon, not sure about mk bs dc because I neber played it, but I noticed a difference in mk 9 and now you could hear it flying towards you. Also the spear sound for mk 2 is different depending on which port you heard it on.

Scorpion's spear hasn't sounded good sincethey took out the original sound that was used in MK 2. To date, still the best Mk imo. 9 and 10 were ok, but there was something about that old sound that was just awesome. And I agree with Lirin. This game definitely doesn't sound great... though I personally haven't liked MK hit sounds since MK 9. My favourite set of sounds was from the 3d K games; Deadly Alliance, Deception, and Armageddon. They were horrible games mechanics wise and design wise, but the sounds... they would still be good today.

i use aida64. haven't updated it for a year or 2 but last version i have is very screen reader friendly and shows pretty much everything that's going on in your computer rite down to fan speeds, drive, CPU, video and ram temperatures. unfortunately the full version you have to pay for but the free version shows you all the basics and i think that includes temperatures.

@Keeweed, rating already given. I've died twice but the game is awesome and I'm still working out how the mechanics work plus of course there will always be the whims of the god of random numbers .I will say I'm not sure about the purchice to carry on post death since the price seems relatively high to say you could die soon afterwards as compared to buying the full game, then again I admit I'm always a bit suspicious of in ap purchices of consumables rather than permenant upgrades, and I'd definitely be up for buying extra characters, items or game expantions in the future.@Saiyan, the game doesn't have sound, but its a really quite cool text rpg carrying on the tradition of great text rpgs on Ios such as A dark room, King of dragon pass and Nano empire, highly worth trying if you like old school dungeoning.

Hi there, I use CPUID HWMonitor to check my commputer's temps, and battery health. Everything is set in a nice list view and is completely accessible with NVDA, you can even export or save all the readings to text files if you so wish.

It'll say something like, and this isn't a real qote but an example, "cars 3, relesaed in 2016, was directed by Aaron from audiogames.net, true or false" and of course it'd be false. When you say false, it'll tell you the actual director. It does the same with actors, but the ones that are tricky are the film tagline ones as I don't know much about taglines.

Hi,We, as of the moment, don't have any sort of policy about posting things that feature other people's sounds, because unlike cracks we'd end up being here forever, there is not a point in trying to verify who has, and has not, purchased sound libraries. We would be here forever. Sound effects are sound effects, and we would start having problems if people used outright sequences of work from other blind people, but singular sounds to create their own sequences, nope. What I mean by sequences is, say I created a mix of sounds, then a few weeks later someone posted something, but within that file was my mix, not edited, not changed in any way, without any credit. That's a no no to me. In fact, I believe this happened to forumight Locutus when a new version of Shades of Doom came out, I don't know the actual result but when I first heard about this, it used actual sequences that Locutus had created and didn't even give him any credit. If someone posted a file with my mix, but talked over the top about it, about it's intricacies, stopped and started to discuss it, then that promotes fair use, that's another story. Same goes for parodies, that's perfectly fine, and who knows we might end up getting our own memes and things. So, short answer, is, no crazy policy, and this is absolutely fine to post. It's also fine to post YouTube videos as well.

I've tried inter-operating C and go. Believe me, its more pain than its worth. You have to deal with the garbage collector when you try using go types in C, and you have the dangers of C when you try to use c libs with Go. I know other libs that have succeeded in that, but I never have. As for rust, I don't know if Rust has the libraries quite yet for game development. At least, I don't think it does.

The gecko is not worth it imho. It's cool not having to refuel, but I can  deal with that no probs. I like the turning speed, and how you outrun stuff at full tilt, but I'd rather have more cargo space. I had a better ship when I had the Cobra.

I did, incidentally, find a path going north, but it seemed to be a dead end. How wide is the path? THe one I found was four spaces wide/ And how far do I have to go along the north wall to find the correct path?
