I have a local store here that sells them and we are talking good quality i5 and i7 machines for $200 to $400. Depending on the games you play, these machines are more than capable. To give you an idea, I recently picked up an HP zbook with an i7 4700, 16 GB ram, 256 GB ssd and a 1 GB k610M graphics card. I think the price was like $350 or so. It was a replacement for a computer I had bought from them last year that developed an electrical issue. It runs MKX and rocket league no problem. But that's the extent of my PC gaming. Audio games are nothing to systems like this. Kendo match Hello. I thought I should at least say something about it here, as some people might be interested in the outcome. This Saturday I will be taking part in my first kendo match. I don't expect it to be anything amazing or ground breaking. I'll be glad not to eat bamboo for the entire thing. LOL!!! That being said, I will announce the results here once it ends and I can. I haven't heard much of blind kendoka, so hopefully I can be a decent example. Also, I have my testing for kendo rank that day. I expect that should go okay. Hoping to go up a little, but we'll see. Right now, I am fifth rank, which is not too bad. We're working with ranks counting backwards here, so hopefully I can make fourth, but we'll see. For me, they are male and female. But since most people don't know what that is, i usually just say gender fluid, which is basically the same thing, but not necessarily for just two genders. Dealing with Math ML? So I was looking at open stacks SE, and they use Math ML. My issue is that sometimes, instead of reading the numbers, NVDA will just say clickable. I tried going into settings on the webpage and turning things on and off and all I got was a textual representation of the equation. Is there a way to turn into the normal math? I.e, here is how the textual representation would look.8, comma x, comma, plus, three x start superscript 6 end superscript, plus 5, comma, x, equals, twenty four.Here is how I want this to look.8x + 3x^6 + 5x = 24Anyway to accomplish my goal?This is literally the only thing stopping me from learning higher math. I have a normal HP computer that I use for work, school and the games, and games run fine on it.It runs Windows Jen version 1.3, (yes Windows Jen is a thing). I think you'd get a better answer just by searching the forum about it.short version, any vpn that offers openvpn configs can be accessible through the openvpn software for your platform; however, If you need to use the software developed by the VPN provider for some reason, you'll get different results. I've been using HMA VPN on windows recently. Their windows app has become much better in terms of accessibility in their last update, but it lacks features such as split tunnel.a big no to the nord vpn app! last time I used that vpn, I couldn't even switch servers! It might've changed by now though. ipvanish wasn't too bad. Decent speed, and screen reader friendly. The downside, most of their IPS were blocked by google, thus I had to solve a captcha every 30 seconds. I couldn't watch netflix with it, and for some weird reason I couldn't connect to teamtalk servers.express vpn was not very accessible, but I managed to work with it just fine. My experience with it goes back to 9 months ago or so. It was a little hard to do things I wanted at first, But I figured it out eventually. It's fast, and one of the few providers which offer split tunneling. Re: Gaming Computers I agree 100% will Jack on this one. honestly, the only advantage I think that "gaming" laptops have are that they can get more powerful graphics cards, but even without those, their price is hiked because of things that I wouldn't need as a blind person i.e. RGB lighting. I could be wrong, but unless the keyboards are overall better, I don't think there's a good reason for a blind person to go with a gaming laptop over something like what Jack recommended. problem signing up at paypal Hi. I have just tried to create my paypal account. I selected my cuntry, entered my name and email and password. But i clicked on continue, and nothing at all happened. I mean the first few times i still got an error saying about some stuff with my passwords, but also when that was gone i still couldn't click that button. I tried with chrome and firefox. Is there a way to fix that or should i maybe just use the app to signup? Thanks, simter. I do browse the web on my phone very regularly. I did experience one in Safari, but it happens maybe once in 2 weeks so I don't call that terribly annoying. It usually resolves itself after about 15 seconds or so. Still, I hope the experience is better for you. As far as I know there are no VO changes in 13.3, so it should not get any worse either. I'll be the first to admit that I have no idea how to design an audio game.. Thats why I'm always asking for suggestions, advice, and thats also why my posts are no doubt ignored.. I'm for the most part still a member of the sighted community, and I ask my fellow visually impaired technology users for help to no avail. Help with Code7, good iPad game suggestions, and I'm shunned.. However, as I've actually been in multiple fights, I think I could be of some use to this project. At least as far as making it feel realistic goes anyway. I'd like to see an on line no rules fighting game where all styles are implemented. a way to find out what is eating my space on ubuntu Hi. I am running a 20 gigs linux vps. I have this since end of2018 and in november of 2019 i reinstalled the server cause i was switching over to a linx control panel. How ever no i notice that 19 of 20 gigabytes are in use. I don't see at all where this is coming from. I checked users, cache folders, but deleting them or cleaning them up didn't help it either. Is there a way to check which folder is taking this whole memory? Thanks, simter.
