Forum login issues solved

Hi everyone, after some community debugging, it seems we've solved the incidental issue on the forum which caused some users to be logged in as someone else. Also, we disabled the stop bots extension which caused problems for new users trying to register. Please let us know if the issues persist and if not: Happy AudioGaming!

An update by Cloudflare:"Fortunately, your domain is not one of the domains where we have discovered exposed data in any third party caches. The bug has been patched so it is no longer leaking data. However, we continue to work with these caches to review their records and help them purge any exposed data we find. If we discover any data leaked about your domains during this search, we will reach out to you directly and provide you full details of what we have found."

Probably not, but it could be. That's why we feel we should warn you that there is a possibility that other parties have gotten access of your login credentials. The chances are very low that this has happened, but better safe than sorry! User Karma is disabled (all extensions are disabled) because once activated, the forum does only show blank pages. The extra headings have yet to be removed from the reïnstalled style.

Forum issues solved

We got reports that our precious AudioGamers could not post to the forum. This had to do with a fatal error in the Personal Messaging service (an extension of the forum software). The extension has been disabled and posting to the forum seems to be possible like we're used to. We hope this solves the issue and please stay tuned until we find a solution for the PM service!

OK, we found out what was wrong. The site security was fine, but there were false spam complaints over our forum registration confirmation message which was sent with a gmail account as reply-to address. Apparently, Google does not like that. We changed the address and AudioGames will stay online.

Hi, to reassure you, the domain has been renewed a month ago (this happens automatically), we have full backups and the domain host agreed upon unblocking the site, but then the site didn't become available yet. I assume this happens tomorrow morning Dutch time. Sorry to scare you, but AudioGames.net will be back and we're doing what we can to bring the site up again.
