Re: could someone make me a visitor counter?

I do understand php, even though it is at a basic level. Here's some of what I can do,$var=0;$web="www.website.com";$s=date("s");echo "welcome visitor to ".$web.".";echo "This server, Your time is";$h=date("h");$m=date("m");echo "It is currently, ".$h.":".$m.":".$s." Elno is living with over 50 sheep.";}$var+=10;}?>The problem is, I don't understand how to create a variable that will still be saved in the webpage. So, sort of like static, but it own't be in a function and it will save even if someone reloads the page.Searching on google revealed to me some results, but they either stay at 1(what I wrote in the counter.txt) stuff, or I can't impliment them because promission denied to fopen counter.txt in w mode.

to be honest, after I destroyed the first humming crystal, I ran around like a headless chicken in the second corridor, looking for a humming crystal. I could hear one at the opening in the 3 north a bit east corner of the map after you go all s and then d and do the 3 w d thing. (might not be here but anyway) I could hear the humming crystal and I tried to hit it for about 10 minutes, but I always hit the wall. then I moved into the second corridor and couldn't find anything. all north and east, I heard a monster, but couldn't get to it because there was a wall. I heard a humming crystal, but couldn't find it. I even ran near every wall, but couldn't find it. is there a third corridor or not?a couple suggestions.maybe a radar you could turn on and off to alert you of humming crystals, walls, incoming monsters and close doors, closed or open?checking health.Monsters will actively try to pursue you. If they are blocked by wall, their sounds will be muffled, and they will try to find a way to get into the corridor, or place, you are in. If they're in your area they start moving to your position when you're like 15 coords away from them?

To be honest, I'd call these rarely helpful things, but I'm not saying they're bad since I can't even make something like it.More than that, you have sammy center, Which Has most of these things, with extra games. YEA FOR GAMES.Maybe you should make cool scripts like a menu script, but we have one from ns, who's cool, and it's nathonsmith because. Hmm. Maybe a map script for all sorts of games, and an easy ambience thing, and doors, and walls, and. All kinds of cool stuff used to help in any sort of game that you're making. I'm saying easy because I'm hoping you'll try to make them as easy as possable. Me knows you can't just write add the door on x 1 y 0. I'm sure you can try though

Re: Need help in BGT for possible game

yeah. I'd suggest looking at an already existing code that's offline and seeing how it's done. Just don't change some things in it and call it yours though. Bad business, bad bad bad. So I was actualy bgt killer in mason's forum because I thought I hated bgt because it was hard because I can't study and read and breathe and walk and talk and studdy bgt, but I managed to edit the ss game from mason and make it into a slightly. slightly better one. But that's bad business now that I look back on it, but it wasn't that mutch of a bad business because it was 1 shutdown because. VIRUS and 2, i used it and called it mine, but it's not my problem because it was downloadable and i didn't have to get it other than from the main owner. So yeah yeah yeah

Currently, I'm trying to make a simple map. yet, it's not actualy working. It moves the player, but the sound of the moving always stops and plays back again when you press d like 5 times fast. It's not adding a set speed like a timer.

Re: Dragonflame engine

@3, Would you kindly just have asked, what's the dragon flame engine? Instead of what the hell is the dragon flame engine? I feel like you're a, frustrated when posting this post for some reason or 2, just want to add something in. A simple answer would've been better. I'm looking to seeing new audiogame engines that are easy. I was thinking of some kind of menu that has  tuns of options for bgt things like if(value) if(key_pressed) And It would tell you what to do when you press on an option. but yeah, you type it in and it adds it in  a bgt file.Still checking sonus gde though, and seems easiest ag maker
