Did any of y'all ever play the MLB 2K games on the 360? That was a great MLB series in my opinion, and you could play it for the most part even without vision. The hardest part for me is when there is a fly ball. Then it is kind of a crapshoot. But still, as far as I am aware, it was the only semi-accessible MLB series, and I am so sad that it is gone.

That literally makes no sense. There is obviously a way to do it without vision. it is just all about knowing the pathway to get there. I mean, I know the pathway key doesn't really work well when on the ice obviously, but you can still figure out where to go with enough patients. i was just wondering if anyone had figured it out.

hello everyone.So I have been playing pokemon crystal, and I made it to the ice path. However, I have become immensely stuck with it. The first level is getting me all kind of confused. playing Pokemon accessibly

Hello everyone.So a little while back I was seeing forum posts about being able to play a couple of the old pokemon games accessibly using emulators and stuff like that. Well I spent a couple hours one day after hearing about it, trying to figure out how to make it work, but I never seemed to be able to find success. Would somebody be able to explain just how to do it? I have always loved the pokemon games and would love to play them, but I just haven't been able to figure out how to get it working.

Hello everyone.So I want to get into quentinC's playroom, but I am running into a very strange issue. So I went and created my account, and then it sent the verification link to my email. Then, when I click on the validation link, it brings me to the website and asks me to sign in. When I try to enter in my account information, it just doesn't work. As far as I am aware, there aren't really any good options for FPS games around here anymore. The days of red spot and road to rage are long gone and since then we just haven't seen any quality titles in that field. There might be a few that I haven't seen or that I have forgotten about, but as far as I am aware, you might be out of luck for the time being.

Well I can chime in with a good iOS option. Chess-wise is a great choice for playing both against the computer and against other people. Shredder chess is a good one for playing against the computer. It will adjust the difficulty based on how you play in each game. Beyond that, it also has a mode where it sets up a scinario for you and you have to make the right move. It's really hard. I used to play chess all the time but still couldn't ever get it right. If anyone wants to play me on chess-wise though my username is blindingaura. I am a little rusty because I haven't really been playing much lately, but I can still put up a pretty decent fight I think.

Hello, I am sad to say that I am just finding this topic. Honestly I wish I could have seen it from the moment it was put up, but I wasn't really on this site much when it came out. However, I just wanted to say that I absolutely love the ideas for this game, and I am a huge fan of fifa and games like that. If you need any help with ideas, testing, or anything else, I would be happy to help. I am not experienced when it comes to coding, so I really couldn't do anything like that, but I could help with the ideas and testing like I said before, or even with things like commentary, as I am very much used to how football commentary goes. @Juliantheaudiogamer: Alright so when you click onto the tactics screen, there are a couple things to make note of. So, along the top of your screen will be your back button, profile switch button, money, stars, to do list, timer list, and menu button. Then, below that, you will find something that says style of play. Now you don't click on that. Below that it will say what the slider is currently set to: I.E. wing play, long ball, so on and so forth. Then, below that, there is an unspoken item, but that isn't important. There is no reason to even acknowledge its existence, except for one reason that I will talk about in just a minute. Then, below that unspoken item, you will find your slider. Adjust that like you would normally and then you are all set. To check which one you have selected, simply move your finger up to where I said the name of the playing style is given. Now, the one reason to acknowledge this unspoken item is because if you swipe onto it, it will indeed set your slider back to the original setting. Not sure why it does that, but it just doe. So that is why you cannot swipe at all when you are doing this. the only swipes you are going to make when setting the playing style is when you are swiping up or down to adjust the slider. I will just point out that in this game, whethe it be setting up your playing style, specialists, or lineup, you are much better off knowing how to explore the screen of your device by moving your finger around, rather than by swiping. Swiping makes everything in this game look and function in a very messy, and sometimes unusable fashion. So that little piece of advice might help a lot. And I hope this whole message helps a lot. You have to move your finger on the screen or else yes, it will switch your slider back to the first setting. You can swipe everywhere after that for the most part, but whn picking your playing style, no swiping.

@Juliantheaudiogamer: For tactics you have to think about it a little bit. For a 3-4-3 formation you would most commonly want to play wing play. Then you will go to how you want yout fielders to play. If you want to play a really high attack game you will want all three sides to push forward, so you would click attack only for forwards, push forward for your mids, and support the midfield for defenders. And if you want to play a middle game you would select the middle options for the three and then for a defensive game you would want the first option for each. Now voiceover will not give you any kind of confirmation that your clicks did anything, but it does work don't worry. Then at the bottom you will have different choices, like how aggressive you want to play, how you want your players to move the ball, things like that. That's all pretty self-explanatory. Oh and if you are playing 4 or more in the back, use zonal marking. 3 or less use man marking. And I would say only use off-side trap if you are playing a very offensive game because then your defenders will already be focused on pushing forward. hope all of this helps you and if you need anything else I will be happy to answer any questions.

@Juliantheaudiogamer: Alright, so when you click on lineup, you are going to want to touch the screen in the bottom right corner. It will say "icon formation". When you click on that, a screen with your different formations will pop up. Choose one that you think will work for the game you are facing and then the slightly harder part begins. So say you go with a 4-4-3A, a pretty common lineup. There are labeled icons all over the screen for where to put your players. And they are in the formation that you will be playing in. On the bottom middle of the screen it will say "gk". That is your goalkeeper. Then, just aover that, in a row of 4, it will say "def". Those for slots are for your defenders. Just above that row is a row of three with icons that say "mid". Those are for your mid-fielders. And then above that is a row of three icons that say "fwd" which of course would be for your forwards. Just click on those icons and fill in with the appropriate players. Put defenders where the defender slots are and so forth. I am sorry thi is so long but I do hope it helps.

I don't even know the normal price for FM so i don't want to spend the money only to find that it doesn't work at all. That would really suck.

I mean, why not though? Online soccer manager has found a good way to make stuff like that accessible. There is no reason why it couldn't be done in FM.

I still play OSM all the time. I am currently taking a run at the title in the english premier league with liverpool. I find the lineup to be very easy to make once you get used to it. Of course that is on iOS. I have not tried it on android. I love it. So glad it has remained accessible, although a few buttons are now unlabeled that used to be perfectly fine so that is a little annoying.

I am seriously thinking about trying out one of the older FM games so I don't have to spend full price to get it and then can see if it is at all playable with NVDA or not. I have heard so much talk of it and don't see why it couldn't be readable, but it also wouldn't surprise me if it didn't work at all.

believe it or not it is possible. When I play I just use a gaming headset like a turtle beach so i can get the game audio right in my ears, and then I use the cues from the commentators and the sound of the ball to know if I have it and I then just use my soccer knowledge to help me figure out where I am on the field. And the fans help too actually. And if the menus are accessible, that means I could probably go nuts on manager mode in career. I might be upgrading to a newer xbox at some point now, because of course, i am currently stuck with the 360. Still would love to play football manager though.

hello. So I was wondering if there was anyone out there that enjoys football, (soccer) games like I do. I have been wondering for quite a while now if the FIFA menus were at all accessible for blind players. I am also curious if games like football manager were accessible with NVDA. If anyone could help me out that would be amazing.
