thanks so much for the explanation of the intent with telnet the spire aaron77, i found it fascinating to be able to play the game anywhere like you described, especialy because the ios version of the game has no accessibility at all.plus, the more choices the better.also if you consider that this game entered early access in 2017 and is still played so much now means how much replayable and enjoyable the game is, and probably will be for years to come with more content from mods.in the future hopefully with the help of imspire we will be able to configure all mods and settings in the main menu, so we don't have to completely disable them.

i'd love to have access to a good ccg to play on mobile. recently slay the spire became playable on windows due to a mod and a few other programs running at the same time, and there's nothing like it on mobile.if cards of yore gets funded on kickstarter it'll be the first, but it isn't looking like it will.other games i'd really find interesting:a 1 vs 1 fighting turn based game with interactable objects, there were two old text wrestling games for ms dos i loved to play, i think one of them was called piledriver.i also love rpgs like muds, with dungeons, or peraps a roguelike.also a match three game like candy crush.

hey Firefly! i've started to experiment with the mods as well, and downfall is really awesome and full of content. i'm playing with the guardian and it seems really balanced.i've killed the first boss and will check out the jungle, i'm curious!!I just wish i could configure the mods to play against the main characters as bosses as well, so you could play against the ironclad, silent, etc.well, peraps in the future it might be doable.there seem to be many other character mods that work, such as sayiajin, marissa, a poker player that i'm still not sure how to understand his mechanics, but endless possibilitys and replay value.dark, there's luck involved, but the game is meant to be cruel at times, and keep in mind this is ascension zero, and there are 20 in total, sounds like a nightmare if you read about it, lol

hi Firefly82! when you type map and the coordinates it shows you the way in the output, so for example if there's a monster at 4 1 and you type map 4 1 the output window will show everything in the path to get to it. for example: floor 4 monster 1 floor 3 unknown 1 floor 2 shop 1 floor 1 rest 1as for past runs, there's no way of reading it for now. the game has this feature, but it's currently not usable with the mod yet.peraps read the spire could creat a log file with all the info everytime it's launched with all the infoeither it could creat a logs folder with the date and time.

the first post has been updated with the link to purchase the game on gog and the accessibility package.darkblade98, after typing map and enter, it will be displayed. you must press ctrl end to scroll to the end, this will be the current floor, since you're going up in the dungeon.to track something type its coordinates.for example if you're in the first floor and find a shop in the fourth floor, let's see its coordinates are 4 3.you just type map 4 3 and the choices will guide you toward the shop.hope it helps

hey @pitermach, I've found an error with read the spire (the latest version 2.0) when trying to imput the hand command after playing for some time. usualy happens after typing monster while in a fight with the slime boss.here's the error. hope it can be fixed since it's so helpful.AutoIt ErrorLine 2711  (File "C:\rts\rts.exe"):Error: Array variable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension range exceeded.

i'm so happy, i finaly found a way to beat the second boss with the defect and progress to the third act, i have many cards to channel both lightning and gain lots of focus. it's sad to see i'll never see this same deck again, but i'm sure other good ones will come. i can't stop playing it.i'd still recommend everyone to contact megacrit on twitter and email to get official support for the mod or add more features to expand accessibility

the main game window only works with ocr and you can navigate between options with a xbox one gamepad.unfortunately the achievements are disabled while using mods to prevent getting things easily with other mods. it won't change the gameplay experience though

i know what you mean, it was so intence i was sweating. i knocked his hp to 85 though. my mistake was focusing on the other wizards first instead of the leader. but i'll keep trying.on an off topic discussion, i just checked yugioh link evolution, it's so expensive here...you 100 percent sure lion will read everything and make the game really enjoyable? with the previous game the ocr didn't made me want to finish a duel. cards were being read all wrong and text sometimes was shuffled with random letters

hey zkline, i got this java error when i booted the computer last time, but after dismissimg the window and trying again after a minute fixed it.you guys are right about the incoming damage. most of the monsters show exactly what they will do next time, so you don't have to remember anything, it's all there step by step just like sighted players.the game autosaves at the start and end of a battle, shop, rest, etc.you just launch it and type continue.the second boss which was the grenlim wizard owned me. he kept summoning other wizards and i didn't have a chance, but unlocked a bunch of cards.this has infinity replayability.bet i'll put 1000 hours in the game

yep, thEre's way to get info on everything except outcome of events. read the help for potions, relic, etc. to get info for cards in your hand for instance type hand and the card number.same for the relic command. the potion has different parameters like inspect, use, etc. sometimes it's complex but you get used to it in a matter of an hour. you can even check enemy's buffs, there's description for it all, even cards after battle, with the choice command

the first enemy if you check the monster command is usualy 0 instead of 1. and when there are multiple enemies make sure you target the right one

hey dan! you can read everything with the appropriate command. for example to read the hand type hand in the prompt and use the output window to check the new info. i suggest hiding the other windows and check the help frequently.. read choices frequently outside combat, every command is needed and useful.the attack cards must have the enemy number, even if there's only one enemy on screen you'll have to type play card number enemy number.there's help for every command. most of them accept extra parameters. don't be afraid to explore and read help multiple times to get used to itarnold, check your hand and all the cards with the hand card number parameter. type player and monster, that's enough to get you started

hey dan! you can read everything with the appropriate command. for example to read the hand type hand in the prompt and use the output window to check the new info. i suggest hiding the other windows and check the help frequently.. read choices frequently outside combat, every command is needed and useful.the attack cards must have the enemy number, even if there's only one enemy on screen you'll have to type play card number enemy number.there's help for every command. most of them accept extra parameters. don't be afraid to explore and read help multiple times to get used to it

just be careful with the gog version due to the instalation of mods being a bit different. with steam workshop you can get mod the spire and the base mod from the workshop by simply subscribing to them and it's guaranteed to work. i'm really not sure about gog.

thanks for beating me to it and posting the link to this ultra super awesome mod, i can confirm it works and can now safely recommend everyone to smash the buy button and get the game real fast!guys, everything is being read for us! in an accessible and easy formate!you can play the game only with the keyboard, you can check stats, powers, buffs, potions, the map, I mean the whole game.I know it sounds like I'm exaggerating but I'm glad I'm not!who did this mod really deserves some donations!!!for the user asking if it works with the gog version, it might work because it supports mods as well, the process of installing them might be a bit different to steam though, I'll must research in order to help you!with the steam version it's just a matter of following the readme and you'll get things running fast.the accessibility mod opens lots of windows, the only interest to you when the game launches will be the prompt and output window, so be sure to put both windows close to each other, you will launch commands to read what's written in the other windows only with the output, otherwise things will get confusing.be sure to check the help command in the prompt window, things will be self explanatory and if you have questions come back here. I'll edit the first post with the mod info

thanks for the upvote brad, every action helps.berenion, the game is currently playable, even more with the map mod to announce the squares, but as i said it's time consuming to use ocr every second.but i'll do my best to get there, the aim is for screen reader support. there are comments saying that they would buy the game again if the developers add the feature.only time will tell!

Hey everyone, I'm sorry to bring back this topic, I just like to know if there's any possibility of getting more audio cues to a future update? i doubt so, because the game is almost one year old, but i'm playing the demo and having so much fun with it, the combat and long distance hits feel so great, even though the levels are random, they just need a text description to picture the idea of where the platforms are and what you can interact with. the screen reader support could be improved as well...@lirin do you still have the developer's contact info?

thanks for the tip regarding the inventory. i found the caravan by lots of patience. there's some places that if you're not careful you can fall, luckily though you will just lose a bit of health and go back to the same place.you must cross the bridge to the right of the river, but then there are other objectives and i got lost as well, losing patience in the process

hey! i got sighted help to set up tts, here are my impressions:there should be a way to target you to the right objective, because you can indeed get lost quite easily.you can hear enemies trough walls, making navigation even slower.ambience helps a bit to move around and picture places in the headinventory doesn't speak items.i managed to complete a few objectives, like freeing villagers, killing invaders, i was lost in the part to secure the inner gate.then i decided to press start and go to the camp and try the first mission, also completting five objectives and getting a few levels and lots of equipment.even though the game is almost unplayable at the moment it's so awesome to see it implemented, i'm sure they can improve it in the future if they really want to have a fully playable game.

hey! so i've installed the windows 10 version and am trying to enable narrator so i can login and play, i've changed the system language to english but it's not speaking anything, i've already set the speech options on the xbox app. really wanted to try the game... any help would be apreciated!

guys, i got the game and got to level 5 without sighted help. i'm in the part with the frogs, i don't think i'll be able to beat this part because i believe the pattern to attack them is visual, however if anyone has tips i'd love it.later on the checkpoints become less frequent, so the game gets much harder.to advance usualy you need to open a door by hitting up. the aerial attacks are great to destroy flying enemys, my upgrades so far are 2 skills and 2 characters

i got the game on steam, played for 25 minutes, so much nostaugia! the sound effect of items, the music, everything fits perfectly!of course the footsteps would help, but it's certainly beatable, because you can continue story mode as much as you want. you only lose score.regarding ocr it's also working great here, you can change the control scheme to the old school three button layout in the settings, but i haven't done it yet, so if you manage to find it please report.heres a link with control info for ps4, for other platforms just replace corresponding button. the link has other important tips. for keyboard use arrows to move, s and d are different attacks, w pick item, e special, space jump.http://www.pushsquare.com/news/2020/04/ … _beginners

thanks so much for finding this rpg, i've tried the game and it looks 100 percent playable indeed! the inventory is divided by item type, so the first tab are weapons, second armor, etc. the number it says means the number of items you have in the particular category. when you get new items it'll say the name of the item and will say new, then you can click to equip it or check stats.regarding combat, your actions change based on what weapon you have equiped, but in my opinion the combat is the area that needs most work, for voiceover to announce actions automaticaly and cooldowns as well, because every item you equip adds to your weight meaning you become slower.to check health go to the character tab, you can practice finding things by exploring the screen, taping the character and flicking left to hear messages that disappear from the screen such as experience gained, health recovered, items found, etc.i've fought three battles and found the other survivor, but i'm sure this will be so much fun.i'll write more as i play

Hey everyone! So I bought samurai warriors 4-ii on steam yesterday, I have a few questions though:I know nothing about japanese, do you know if there's a way to change the language to english? Also, I know the first menu when you launch the game isrelated to saving and loading games, maybe @assault_freak can help if it's the same as the ps 4 version so I don't end up overwriting my saved game.Also, how to continue the story when you launch the game again and if i'm in the middle of a battle and want to go back to the main menu for somereason, how to do it? sorry for all these questions, i'll try to get sighted help to try to help you guys as well with the other stuff.here are the keyboard controls for the game according to the game's readme:movement: a d w s for left / right / forward and backward, attacks: j, i and l, m is for jump, left shift block, slash  calls horse, o is specialskill, comma switches 
 character, r is rage mode, numbers 1 and 3 select skill and q uses skill, and k is escape, personaly i recommend using acontroller, i'm using a x360 wireless one and it works perfectly with the game.

My dream is to see an rpg single player game with lots of content(not necessarily meaning a big storyline) but a lot of variety in enemies, equipment(weapons / armors / gems / potions / alchemy, upgradable skills and spells, etc), I think were really lacking in this genre. yes, there are thejapanese text games and they rock, Ive played most of them, but since I love the genre it wouldnt hurt to have more games even though entombed 2 iscoming.

Hi,Ive also preordered doa 5 last round on steam and already completed the story mode in the first day the game came out. Its quite fun to play withall the combat mechanics, stereo sound and of course the girls moaning! They already released a mod that makes the girls boobs fully exposed..*quickly remembers that Im fully blind* :sadanyway, if you have the game on steam, just use nvdas ocr function, you should be able to read most menus, even including the training lessons withsome effort. Sometimes youll have to use the ocr multiple times to recognise the selected option, but it should work though. if it doesnt, pressalt+enter to make sure the screen is in full screen mode and also set the launcher configurations right for your screen / pc. I recommend disablingantialiasing, shadows, and all the other effects.just to give you an idea of the layout of the menus, the first option should be 
 t;fight where you have survival, time attack, arcade, tag, etc.the second option is where you can find the training part and also the tutorials which are quite fun to learn.the story mode is the last option in the menu, so if you want to go straight to it just go up once and select. the next menu will ask you if you wantto start a new story or continue the last game. choose the first option for now and enjoy!cant give you help with the controls because Im using a x360 wireless controller, it didnt work so well with myrazer atrox fightstick though.. the button configuration changes from the x360 which is weird, hope they fix it in a future update.

Hey everyone! Dragon ball is certainly my favorite anime, I owned 7 dragon ball games for ps2 and enjoyed most of them, especially considering that the games had 90 percent of the menus self voiced, the battle mechanics of budokai were simple and a bit repetitive, but I still really enjoyed it. Yesterday, when navigating in some gaming sites, I discover that a new dragon ball is being made and will be available for pic!! I didnt even consider the idea, I went to steam and instantly ordered db xenoverse, itll be coming February 17 for all systems. I hope we can play the storyline, I know there will be inaccessible parts, it looks like you will have to walk around a city when playing online, to find players and quests, but Im still excited and praying to have at least some of that stuff playable. For those interested, Ill be creating a separate topic when the game gets released with menus, possibly some gameplay content, etc.
