Francis Cannons, by Aprone

This is a post on Aprone's behalf, since he no longer visits this forum.At the time of writing this, this is the second game I've released to the audiogames community that I did not actually invent myself.  The first was Triple Triad, which was a mini game from the Final Fantasy games I believe, and now this game which is the original rule set of GridCannon, by Tom Francis.I normally do Not like using other people's designs in my games, but this game is just Too good to pass up.  I have enjoyed this little solitare card game ever since I first read about it from Tom's website, and have even taught it to my little nephew.  The audiogames community should have this game too.When putting this together I found that Tom updated the rules to GridCannon, which in my view, make the game a bit easier.  I'm not super into making games easier so I've stuck to the rules as I first learned them.  Tom Francis' website can be found here:  https://www.pentadact.com/2019-08-20-gr … ing-cards/Controls:Space draws the next card in your deckEnter places a cardTab cycles screen reader settingsZ reminds you of the card you've drawn, and are trying to place on the gridX cycles you quickly between spots on the grid that are valid places to place your current cardC toggles how spots on the grid are read by the screen readerV tells you how many cards are left in your deckEscape gets you back to the main menuSorry about the rush job done on this.  I literally only had like 5 hours so I cut every corner I could!         - AproneDownload link: www.kaldobsky.com/audiogames/cannons.zip

Hey there,To turn auto-aim on, if you're using a gamepad, press start, right 3 times, A twice. You should be in a menu where you can move in all 4 directions. Go down once, then right arrow, then hit A, and then B all the way out. Auto-aim full assist will now be enabled.

Still can't play it. Downloaded it and extracted to a folder. Deleted the Spanish language file, and it goes ot the main menu. No key inputs are accepted.

Hey all,This might be a bit of a long post, so I apologize. First, this update is definitely, definitely an improved one. I love how the lag with many enemies has been fixed. Second, I love the new Map 5 edition. Could you make it more difficult?  I do, however, don't really like the multiplication issue. Personally, I only think HC people's inventories should get reset. Normals only have a 7 percent chance of getting the items fixed. Its not like you can take those to a fort. But on HC, you can. So, this is why I say only HC's inventories get reset. Another thing. Could you please, reduce the time when you get hit by a zombie? Personally, right after you get hit, you should have a, say, point 5 second slow down, then your speed goes back to normal. This delay is a bit too much, which in turn, could get us trapped, and eventually, killed. If you do plan to reset
 , at least do it today, or as soon as possible. My honest opinion? Everyone plays however they want to. You added the delete character feature for a reason. If you don't like your character, you can just destroy it, and redue it again. For example, if you want to mainly focus on missioning to improve stats, or be a killing machine with a minigun, you may. The downside. Since the Minigun is only found on sub1, you'd either need to get a high level player to get you one, and get you to level 60, or you'd need to risk your own life to try and capture one. But, my point is, we play however we want to play. We decide whether or not we want people on our missions, if we want to purely kill kill, if we want to just be a total crate junky, or other things. One last thought. You should implament a limit on how many forts a clan can own. 10? That's way, way too many for just 1 clan, and makes HC< well, really unfair for other players that actually work for their levels,
  not sitting in their forts all day long, leveling for nothing. I'm sorry but, its very, very true. Sorry if I've made anyone who reads this angry, I just needed to let my voice be heard.

I agree 100 percent with Carlos. At first, I really didn't like this whole slow down edition to the game, but I have realized that it actually makes you need to fight zombies and/or Raiders to not be killed. Or deal with them almost always sticking to your shield. Haha. Earlier today I did mention to Kyleman, I wonder if we could get the speed to 75 percent reduction? It would make the game just a bit easier, for those unescapable swarms on maps 3, 4, 5, and even the warehouses, whenever they get very bad. Just a suggestion. Thanks, David.

All that needs to be fixed, is the lag on maps/missions, items disappearing/empty inventories, and improving drop rates for Composite armor, Hard hats, and Leather jackets. Then the game, in my opinion, be perfect.

A little issue going on. When I try to connect to the current version with my characters, I receive the following error message. Error.  This map does not match Swamp's current version.  If you have downloaded an update recently, make sure you did not forget to copy over any new map files.  I made sure to copy the maps from the original zip file.

If you do decide to reset everyone, you could either restore a select amount of people, who did not cheat, whenever they ask for it, or, you could just restore the levels to those select people, and not half to worry about inventories. Its all up to you, and I am all for whatever you decide to do.

SPOILERI'm currently in the Paladin Ruins. I have found 1 teleporter, which takes me to a memorial room, I believe. And, I found another save point, on the bottom right. When I continue right, I see that there is a teleporter. I try to go to it: "I have nothing against you. Please leave." Any tips?
