I am willing to give the game another shot and at least play the demo the whole way through.A lot of my criticism still stands however.I appreciate you filling in the details regarding the engine and limitations there of. it's still very disappointing to see an otherwise great concept marred by technical limitations. Hopefully some of these things at least can be improved for the full release.

Crazy Party is getting the axe. it could be argued there a personal bias.My advice for what it's worth is to work off of the system where if a complaint is received regarding a games assets, that the team investigates it.Finally I think there's a lot that can be said about games that are not collecting any revenue Vs. ones that are.

type @gripeMine is titled something like my less than positive feelings on Space Combat or something similar.Essentially I feel like as it stnds, Combat is both not fun and very difficult for those who type slower and use speech at a slower rate.Makes it hard for people who either have  hearing difficulties and slow their speech down, as well as for people who maybe have processing delays who need an extra second or two to work out what they're reading to respond.Accessibility doesn't just mean can a blind person use it, but can the greatest amount of users use it as well.

a couple things. The reboot caused the entire world to spawn as a grassy plain. I think the dev went to bed, so we might be waiting a bit for changes.I have to say though. this is pretty cool. When things like an accesible survey command get added in, this should be a ton of fun.

I tried running, and blasting. issue I ran in to was that one of two things happened.1. I got swarmed and died.2. I got snipered and died.The game forces you not to be able to get in to cover which would really be helpful.

So with the latest patch Rat King was a piece of cake. However, I'm at the part where you're being sniped at while having to deal with runners and clickers. I'm curious if anyone has any advice on how to eal with that. Trying to snipe off oncoming zombies causes you to get blown away, but I can't seem to out run them. thoughts?

I'm personally glad you're working on this project as I much prefer a mainstream interface vs. an interface where everything uses commands. Certainly nothing against Text the Spire. As you said. it is a huge reason why we're even talking about this game in the first place.

I do not want to look down at the efforts by other studios. Sea of thieves and Gears of War both have support for things like inventory, menus, and the like. but here's the problem.there are no mechanisms in place to allow someone to actually play the game independently.The Last of Us has pretty much single handedly blew away any other attempt at accessibility in a mainstream title.The lesson that can be learned here is simple. Build accessibility during development, and not as an afterthought.I hope more studios can follow the example of Naughty Dog. it may take a few years to see this bare fruit, but if they start now on the next generation of games, then hopefully in a few years we can have something to cheer about.

I'm unsure if it's a win 10 release preview issue or not. I suppose maybe latest release comes with the needed dot net libs. it's impossible to know if that's causing the mod not to work or not. As long as you've copied everything to the correct folder, there is really no reason why this would not work.

I can and will not help you if you're using it since who knows what it is doing in the background to load the game. I've already heard from a few people who are playing with this version and the mod doesn't seem to work for them. Sorry, but your best bet is to actually buy the game.

yes. on steam you can get a refund. unsure about rockstar. and this is why its super super important to check the requirements of a game before purchasing. These are games that do take decent amount of graphics power.

You may have to change to first person view in order for the autotargetting to work. Unfortunately this is not something I was able to relyably get to speak.

once you start the game the profiles folder should be created. I don't think it matters after that.

so the profile folder should always be in the documents folder. Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V\Profiles

if you're using the save file provided it should have everything. you can also press the tilde key and type in alltools in to the cheat console. and that will load you up with everything if you don't already have it.

I had put gta11y.dll in the wrong folder and so the scripts folder had an old copy. Glad it's working now.

Correct. As much as I'd like to add features to read menus and stuff, I'm limited in what I can do. My hope is that this will be a catalyst to move the discussion forward between visually impaired gamers and mainstream companies.

the mod is supposed to create the json file if it doesn't already exist. This was the problem people were originally having. Check to make sure your Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V folder has a folder called ModSettings. If not then it seems like the mod is not creating it. I am at  a loss as to why this would be. Like I said. the latest version properly creates this folder if it doesn't exist.if others are having this same problem then I may have to go back to the drawing board and see what else could be causing it.

so I fixed the latest version to properly check for the folder and then create it if it doesn't exist. make sure you're running the latest one. I even ran some tests here to make sure it would create the ModSettings folder if it didn't exist.

Okay. So the issue seems like it's related to the saving and loading of settings. if everyoen can give me a day or so to track down the problem I will attempt to make some sort of work around to deal with this. This is kind of hackish, but in the meantime, try creating a folder called ModSettings and place this folder in your Documents\Rockstar Games\GTA V folder. I don't knwo if this will even make a difference, but I think this is the sticking point for the moment.

I didn't add a feature to track objects via audio cues yet. There is a feature which will make sounds depending on what you have targeted.
