There is an alarm sound, which seemingly increases in frequency, at the end of which, my aircraft crashes. The black box file describes the cause of the accident as “crash” with code: 37. Any idea? Thanks in advance.Hello! This stumped me for a while, as well. This beeping that increases in pitch is your storm weather radar. When you hear it, turn 90 degrees, left or right doesn't matter, and travel along that course until you don't hear the beeping any more. Then, turn back toward your destination, 10 degrees at a time. If you start hearing the beeping again, stop turning toward your destination and wait until the beeping stops.Hope that helps!

theextreme wrote:Hi,I noticed that updates happen automatically, but there's no way to see what was changed in the latest version. Also, is it just me, or does the game make you crash very easily? I had two situations where this happened out of nowhere and took me by surprise. One of the two could have been my fault, but the other was a definite bug or something. The first time was during a storm. Once the storm radar sounded, I wasn't sure exactly what to do (maybe someone can correct me on this one) but I just went right to get away from the storm. Just when it subsided, I went back on course and crashed. Error code 37 I think, whatever that was. the blackbox didn't have much detail except that it was a crash. The second time I was flying and t-cas sounded for me to descend. so I start to descend and just when the warning stops, a few seconds later I crash again. The black box says that it was a collision, even though I thought I was in the clear. If this keeps up I may have to disable both storms and t-cas.Anyway, could this have been a bug or could I have done something to prevent the crash? Any help is appreciated since I want to get back flying perfectly like I have done in version 1.Thanks!Hello,For seeing what's new in updates, I find the best reference for that is the Facebook page. I don't have a link handy presently, but I can post one here when I get home later.Regarding issues with storms and TCAS, those take a bit of getting used to, but are definitely manageable once you have a handle on them. For storms, I turn 90 degrees of my current course, which direction doesn't matter. I then turn back toward my original course, in 10 degree increments. The first time I turn 10 degrees, the beeping of the storm radar will start up again, but not centered. When the beeping stops, then I turn 10 more degrees. I only execute another 10 degree turn once the storm radar sound stops on my current course. For TCAS, it's important that you rise or descend as indicated by 200 meters or so. I usually just set my nose down or up 15 degrees and keep going until the TCAS alert stops and the plane goes by. Then I resume my original altitude.Hope that helps. Feel free to ask any follow up questions!

Re: Eurofly Version 2.0 now available

This is weird! It happened with Declan's modified A320, in case that matters.I fueled my plane up to 1000, to see how far that would get me to calculate fuel for my trip, then put in more fuel, bringing it up to 4000. When I started taxiing to my runway, my plane told me it only had 1000 L of fuel in it. Anybody else seen this problem?

Re: Eurofly Version 2.0 now available

So, a thing happened. Long story short, I had to uninstall and reinstall Eurofly. Things are groovy now, except for one thing. When I take off from my home airport, my actual one in Salt Lake City, Utah, I'm greeted by a repeating tone. I think this is the tone to indicate capitals. I seem to have stopped this the last time I ran Eurofly, but I can't for the life of me remember what setting governs this so I can change it. Nothing in options seems immediately obvious, which makes me think I toyed with the eurofly.ini file. Anybody know what I need to change, and what value to set it to, to get rid of the tone? Thanks in advance.

Re: Eurofly Version 2.0 now available

I want to try it, but don't want to crash. So, has anybody figured out if that bug that made it so your TCAS didn't alert you if you were in screens other than the dashboard, the communicator screen for example, has been resolved? I hated participating in a discussion via communicator and then all of a sudden crashing into another plane.

Re: Eurofly Version 2.0 now available

In category 3 aircrafts, using the Eurofly mod mentioned in another topic, I always manage to crash if landing a plane on autopilot. The cause of the accident is always colition wiht the Earth. Am I doing something wrong/ I wouldn't think so, as autopilot handles most things short of requesting landing clearance, but still. This is a persistent problem I'd love to fix.

Re: Eurofly Version 2.0 now available

Regarding the TCAS, is there a specific amount you have to ascend or descend when it starts yelling at you to do so? I always just ascend or descend as requested until it stops and the plane, funny how they're always smaller prop planes from the sound of it, goes past. However, if I can just ascend or descend some certain amount, that would be cool too. Thanks in advance.

Re: Eurofly, first geographical atlas and flight simulator for blinds

Unfortunately, with work and other things I won't have a whole lot of time to sit around and throw out ideas for the game we all want to see. So, if it's alright with you lot, I'll just post ideas here when I get them.Firstly, ATC. It would be cool, though not sure how feasible at present, to have 1 or 2 ATC voices for each country. Now, the US and Canada could share, but England, Australia, New Zealand, France, Germany, Mexico, etc should have ACT voices from those countries. Speaking English, because though ATC does use the native language, English must be used a the request of the pilots. If we could get some actual air traffic controllers to record them, that would be brilliant, but that's just a dream I have that I wouldn't be too terribly concerned if it didn't get realized.Secondly, please please please please include ARTCCs. This whole flying over vast stretches of the US without any communications with towers is crazy. Centers, wh
ich is the colloquial term for the ARTCCs, take care of planes the entire time they're not under an actual airport's control.Third, ATIS. Automated terminal information service. Y'know, weather and other such important things. It could be triggered, if we wanted, by the letter w like eurofly currently gives us the weather, but I would want it to actually resemble an ATIS transmission, not just a string of text about the weather spoke by jaws/nvda etc. This one actually requires us to make a choice. Human or TTS for the ATIS? TTS would make it easier to actually pull in real data for use in the ATIS reports. Now days, I think most ATIS systems use TTS, but when I first started listening to airband transmissions back in the early 90s, ATIS was still done by a human who had to go in and record the new information every hour. That's it for now. Maybe more later.

Actually, disregard what I said about different ATC voices for each country. As cool as that would be, it would make the files of the game ridiculously large, more than likely. Let's just axe that for the time being.

Re: Eurofly, first geographical atlas and flight simulator for blinds

There are rejected towers out there that used real-world ATC phrasiology? If anybody has and could send me one, that would be brilliant. Sometimes, just for realism sake, I fly and leave liveatc.net up on my phone.

Re: Eurofly, first geographical atlas and flight simulator for blinds

Hi all,I was just curious how those of you who fly category 2 aircraft, which don't have automatic speed things, handle landing at destination airports.I like to fly at the max speed for my plane. I suspect my passengers like this, too. However, I don't want to breeze right on past the airport. I don't want to slow down to my landing speed too early, but I don't think going in full throttle then having to circle until I lose speed, which I did once, is the best course either.Strategies for this would be awesome. Thanks in advance!
