@Meetbag actually, no, not really. Cython compiles Python to C, which gets compiled to ASM. So there's actually no Python code in the .pyd files that Cython generates. It also generates C files but i normally just delete them. The pyd files are the actual Cythonized code, or ASM and machine instructions. So you can get the games code threw pyd files? Technically, yes. But just the logic, and not even a lot of that, as a lot of the grunt work is handled by Python, anyways.

Uh... No. You can not decompile Cython, not to native Python code, at least. Sure you can get C or ASM instructions but hard to understand ones. Here's how I do it. I have a file called main.py, that just imports all the modules (Cython does not do explicit imports) EG, if you import lucia, and lucia imports pygame, Cython will still need you to import pygame. I have a file with my imports and that calls the main function that's in another file. That is the most raw Python people will be able to get out of Cythonized code. No, no system is perfect, and if you want extra protection you can download the Python source code and scramble some bytecodes, but what's honestly the point? It would stop most people, but if someone who knows how comes along they can break it in a matter of 20 minutes. So yeah. Just use Cython.

--windowed and --win-private-assemblies are two very, very different things my friend. --windowed makes it not show a console, and --win-private-assemblies bundles your modules so that people don't have to have Python installed. Cython is what makes your code decompileable. It turns Python code into native C. Which you would've found out by, as you've said you've been told to do, use Google. It exists for a reason. I honestly hate to be that guy but what those flags do is simply A search away/

Hey.Not a bad little game you've got here.  It does get flagged by Windows Defender, and I'm assuming that's because it was written in BGT?  Do correct me if I'm wrong though. A couple suggestions:1.  I would recommend having your sounds in their own folder or even an encrypted data file, just to make the directory cleaner. 2. I would also recommend having an alert letting us know if we're too high or two low.That's about it for now. Not bad for a first audio game.

I just got a high score of 234 in Challenge of the Horse using my male Chesnut-colored horse named Ty! You can get it from: http://tunmi13.dev/projects/coth.zip  Hey, nice little game ya got here. A couple suggestions and or bugs. I don't like how objects sort of just, disappear when you walk by them. It doesn't feel very realistic to me. In edition, I think that the gender selection should be a menu, not an input box. And once you get to speed 100 and it stops getting harder, the horse should not snort, as it's not getting harder, just 15 seconds elapsed. And one more thing. Add T to check how long you've been playing for and maybe remove C to tell you coordinets. I don't see it as being very necessary. I also think that points should work a bit differently. Maybe the closer you are to an object when you jump, of course with the exception of the air object thingies, you should get more points. For example, if i jump 1 tile away from the object, I would get more points then if I jumped, say, 3 squares away from it. It would also be nice to jump with up arrow, making the game easier to play with one hand. Something I also think would be cool but maybe not practical for a game like this is the ability to whip the horse to make it go faster or slower. Like, s for slower, f for faster, but the horse won't always listen, and maybe you get a penalty, such as losing points. Good game overall though.

God sake guys. You bitch at Rory for not releasing it, then you bitch at him for releasing it? Can you make up your mind? Please? This is getting annoying to see. I sort of figured this would happen, just looking at the reactions in the not being released topic. I can totally feel Rory. School is hard. I just finished 8th grade, but 6th and 7th really kicked me in the ass mentally. After those grades, I was in a horrible place. I lashed out, was a jerk, and just a horrible person. I'm still, quite honestly, recovering from that. I feel like my life will get less stress free now that a lot of my classes next year will be online but not everyone has that option and I'm sure that it'll still take it's tole on me. No doubt some of you at least have seen one of the times I lashed out. 8th grade wasn't as bad for me, but school is hard. I only really got into coding in 8th grade anyways. So give the dude a break. School is hard and you can't always keep all promises you make. This does, however, circle back to my statement that you really shouldn't give release dates, at least exact dates on games, or anything for that matter.

@13 is correct. Patryk called some of my games wery wery crappy and it actually messed with me a bit. PureBasic does not make it the easiest to save and load Game data (encrypted that is). There's JSON, but again, encryption.

I ran it threw defender, had a similar issue, but it only showed tigger FRM, the same virus BGT likes to be flagged as. It could be duck DNS or something defender just can't catch. Mind you guys this is fighter, the same guy who posted zombie city on masonasons forum and had it removed for containing a different virus than other BGT games so uh...

Alright, so, here we go, all out evidence time. I don't know if you remember, but secret land released what would appear to be an older version of this. I do not  have it anymore, and the topic is removed but if you look in the punishment topic, okay that sounded wrong but lets not talk about that, you will see it. Unless the code was sold...which would not even be right if it's open sourced, this is the same developer. In edition, lets extract this little, game here, see what it has to offer. Hmm, okay...Windows security is having a major fit about this, much more so than any other BGT game. Lets see what it says the threat is. Okay, tigger FRM, same threat as other BGT games. Lets run this in a sandbox, just to be safe, though. Alright, same menu structure as the version the SecretLand released, and in the changelog it states changelog wrote:removed visual modeHmmm, what other thing based off ZW's source code had visual mode? Yeah, that's right! But no no no I'm not done. Lets go into the help built into the game, why don't we. Okay, that doesn't even work, that's fairly stupid. However, omer brought something to my attention. Go to the link in the first post, just the beginning of it, and click on warcry. Again @68, I fully see your point. And maybe my reactions were a bit harsh. But you have to understand, as has been stated, i'm only 14, and I'm learning things. Yelling at me because my project is basic basically does no good. I know it is. But as zarvox said, a project for someone starting coding is a project. And I was proud of this one. So people coming in and scremaing at me made me get upset.

@67 I fully understand if it may not be your thing. But the fact that this character has a big following on youtube made me think that people would actually not bitch about it every 5 milliseconds. I fully understand that not all feedback you get will be good, but check out this topic, this topic, and loads of other beginner projects from back in the day. Now look at today. Newbie projects are now mostly screamed at and hardyl any good feedback comes. I fully understand and except the fact that there will be some negative feedback. But bitching and screaming won't fix anything.

Exactly 40. I don't know what the hell this forum is coming to. A few years ago, we were giving new developers good feedback and not going, "Oh this shit is so basic plus you did not add one god damn feature yet ." Hell even looking threw old topics, someone released a utility program, console based, and all they were met with positive feedback. Same with sam and game suite, as well as the old STW. Those games were very basic and the community did not shit on them. What the hell have we turned to? Look at the number of simple games out there. 2dp? Started simple, is now awesome. Scrolling battles, same deal. Basically any god game that ever existed started out as just a few hundred lines of code and because of people not shitting on the developers, they felt like going along with the project. Hell if I blame people for wanting to leave now, all we have now is negativity towards new developers. I seriously wonder if we would have good devs such as Sam, Mason, etc had they been met with this kind of feedback.

I went ahead and removed the link, as an idiot said he wants to post this but in off topic, and the fact that people think this is some god damn powertrip when I'm really just trying to have fun with coding and make something that's amusing me. Remember, guys. I didn't claim this was a big release, or anything similar. I said, this is a simulator. Not a game that will make you play for hours or anything like that.@37, I was considering doing something similar like that, except you can fly, on the flying couch. I would have to recode a lot of it and right now I don't feel deticated seeing as how my and zarvoxes work just got shit on, but I'm just going to give it a break for a day or two.

This is a cool little time waster, but I have a suggestion, as well as a way to find out what is causing the error.The suggestion: Add first letter navigation to the typing input, or better yet, to all the menus.
