If the sounds were stolen from my works, I would have done the same as Phantom Creations did, and I am glad they did, but lets see others do the same on here as well.  Purchasing a single licence for sound libs does not mean you can pass the content around, or collect it in a huge directory to pass around.  Both are wrong, and we as a community need to stop using sounds that were passed around the groups with-in the community.

Oh damn, finally I shall throw in my opinions on this game. I would first like to say that I believe Tunmi has found his nitch. No killing, no weapons, just build, build, and for the hell of it, build some more.  I like this game rather a lot. It is no SBYW but it has quite a lot to offer with building right from the start. Then again SBYW has been around for much longer and has a few more devs on the team.  At first I was not a big fan of the coin charging to build thing, but then again what are you gonna do with all your coins that you get on the challenges.  It is a bit to chatty, but that can be turned off, and so can the on line and off line sounds.  Wich is good because you can build in piece.  You are still able to see what people are saying in the chat buffer, so muting them will not have you miss anything if you are in to that stuff.  And now on to the big issue that has taken over this topic; the stolen sounds.  I was saddened to see many sounds from other games on here, and many from libs that were just given to him by people who purchased a single user licence, or by people who got the libs who purchased said licence.  I am glad that he is replacing the stolen content and that he is slowly coming around.  Its about time we see another builder game that offers the option to build in 3d.  My playing this game does not make me a supporter of "Tunmi's behavior, and his willfulness to disregard his own mistakes."  Had to borrow from post num 133 because it was worded pretty well.  If people choose to help in helping tunmi make things right that is up to them.  They like the game, so they want to do what they can to help it stick around. Before I forget, why aren't we going after all the other devs who released other projects containing sounds that obviously were swiped from cracked games, and the works of others?  It is rather intresting that tunmi's game has to be dragged through the shit hole and not everyone elses works that contain stolen shit.

It is an intresting game.  I like the story, however the point and click style is not my cup of tea.  I do wish their was more swiping for moving instead of just swiping to go through the story and having the story tell me that I am walking through the forest or me following the river.  I would rather do the actual moving, and button pressing. Well the shutdown of rodu and bs came not to long after my final bs post on the bs thread .  If they are somehow tied then so be it, but I highly doubt it. It just seems a coincidence.  It is his choice weather he chooses to inform his players of his choice of shutting a game down, especially those that pass through these forum pages.  After all he doesn't want to be associated with this forum.  Personally, I do hope he figures himself as a developer out and if he does indeed bring one of his projects back, I do hope it is the one that he is really passionate about, and that it is one he really wants to succeed.  Like i said before he has potential as a dev, but he needs to find his way.  Take a few years and learn a language of programming really well, or pick up a project, really hammer out the bugs, and problems, and then release it.  Also another task that takes time.

I could go on how to make this game balanced, how their should be different armor classes, different healing items, explain why some weapons are stronger then others, spout how explosives should hurt multiple indeviduals instead of 1 if their are others near the targetted player, how the char setting said explosives should also be affected, mines for example, but this fucken game has run its course.  It has been brought back, 3 times I believe.  Not to mention the other times when it was owned by others.  Do correct me if I am wrong.  I play it, yes, but less and less.  Now a days i usually pop on for a bit, and see who is on, sometimes kill 1 or 2 others and then leave.  To quote a friend, swipe some text from his post from above "purelevel of unmoderation. Either get some admins or shutdown the game. "Couldn't have said tha better.  I would have tossed out a few fucks, shittie ass, incopident management, shit like that.  And why you ask am I posting this?  because it must be said.  Tunmi, let the game go, let it sink in to non-existance.  Stop bringing back ghosts, stop trying to recreate what was, focus on what can become or could be.  You have ideas that can go far, but you choose to let them go to start yet another project.  One can manage only so many projects before the rest of  his or her work goes down the tubes.  On that note, I bid you all a good day, and I believe my final post on this topic.  If someone does still converse with the developer of this game, do please pass this on to him as he rarely haunts the forum with his presence.  I do feel like he should see this.

I am not saying having complete access, just a few commands that can restore a players account if needed.  for example, /restore playername.  And if you want to be restored to a specific backup: /restore playername date time.  see, nothing to invasive.Because often the admins are more on a game then the dev. and if the dev is on he or she is usually hopefully working on the game.

I agree that admins should have the ability to restore anothers account, I also agree that an admin should be able to reboot the server if it needs to be, if the game calls for it.  However, he should have something that automatically restarts the server if the game crashes.  The game is still down, and it has been since 9:30 or so last night. Could have been longer, but I didn't check.  And if he demotes lightning for speaking his mind, then that tells you what kind of dev he is, and where his trust lies with his game staff.

The host is reliable, tunmi just doesn't know how to mannage a game.  Isn't their something he can do to have it bring the game back automatically if it crashes?  I know when SPYW crashes, it doesn't take very long to have the game come back up.

He is now on a really good server, but yet when i move or jump my ping spikes.  He rally needs to look at the code, fix what is wrong and not add new bells and wistles. I like this game and I would hate for it to drop like all other on line games have in the passed.  Maby he should just take a break from developing for a while, practice and re-enforce what he knows, gain new programming knolledge and come back in a couple of years.  But as of now the game is not playable.

Well lets look at the past servers.  He had gabdilan and that crashed some what, lag was dealable, then he had Jonnithon's where lag immediatly started happening. and many game crashes.  Oh and whats up with hosters automatically becoming admins? thats rather strange in itself.

Actually you cant say rodu and bloodstorm are the same. and i quote: And yeah. Rotu and bloodstorm or what ever the previous names of the game was, all end up the same way."  First f all complete not the same. and second of all, the lag comes from the crappy home made servers he is going through, and the code itself.  I guess you get what you pay for hey?  go to a free home server, get crappy feedback from the reaction of the game to the players and from the players who are actually playing this thing.  Its a fun game, but many of the lag issues, and stuff with in the code itself should be fixed before new shit is pumped in to it.  New things are fun, but take care of the old first.

Wel payed is Ivans way.  does it inconvenience some, yes.  But think about it. Most of this game is basically provided free for most of you.  So what if some features are only for payed users. After all, the guy has to pay for the server somehow. Storage is not free, hell nothing is really free. Somebody somewhere is paying for something that makes what you pay or have aquired free for you.  The audio gaming community needs to stop and be greatful for all the free games that are currently out.  Just remember if it weren't for someone somewhere paying money, you wouldn't have those "free".

I love the platforming part. it took me a little bit to figure it out but i finally got it. for the longer jumps hold down the control key it seems to get you farther, and do regular jumps when you do the shorter jumps. it takes some time to get used to the momentum thing, but it works.  And as for the many enemies on the map, its part of the fun, challenge. but thats just me, and others do see it different.  How do you gain higher stats? i slowed down my punches and smashed a bunch of enemies down for a while but the numbers never wnet up

lmfao, no second licence needed.  Their is a way to make it possible for manamon to have 2 instances of the program running at the same time. Use your saved file on both, but be careful wich instance you save to.  Always make a back up of your save, as i learned the hard way. lol.  And this is nothing new i am saying, all this inffo can be found somewhere on this thread, so those of you looking to start something can bite me.

This is one of the best games that has come out since AHC.  I like the demo, liked what i played.  The 3d audio is the bomb, and its done very very well.  A key mapper sounds good also, And the fact that you can play this with a controler is bad ass.  When we fight the corpses would it be possible to have the ability to avoid their hits?  for longer survival.

lmfao guys i just played 3dyw a couple minutes ago and was on for quite a while yesterday after build to survive went down.  So please do your research before claiming a game supposeably goes down.  and yes it would be nice to play build to survive again, but not everything lasts for ever.  and please lets stop dragging Mohamed through the crapper.  I know some of you may have your problems with him, but what is done is done.  Am i defending him, yes, did i have my disagreements with how he sometimes did things, yes i did, but that isn't making me drag him down a muddy trail.  I also had my disagreements with how tunmi did things on their but that won't get any mud dragging for him from me.  Its not right. another wrong does not make another wrong

Now before this gets out of hand, lets keep in mind that everything good has an end, just like everything bad.  For some this was a bad game, but for others it was fun to play.  Was it perfect, no, was it fun, yes.  Did many of those who had a problem with the lag come back time and time again to enjoy and or play it, yes.  Remember mohamed and tunmi both put their time in to this to bring you all and me something fun to play.  You people who said bad things about the game and devs already have said them, so please do not repeat yourselves again.  It sucks that its gone, but something else will pop up just like something always has when a game is no more.

so deathstar your asking for protection for the first 3 or so levels.  Now how is that fair?  You want people to let them kill you to aquire said levels?  The only way to get a new level or rank is to kill and get the points to get to said levels.  Free kills sound nice but not possible. Thier are many maps to explore and get used to the game before you go and start kicking ass.

agreed with fred's post. Nobody is perfect and besides the fact that i have my own issues with this game, they do not prevent me from enjoying it. Also they do not prevent me from doing my admin duties.  I am glad to help people when i can, and do what i can for the players.  And that goes before my problems with the game, and with the things on wich the devs and i don't see eye to eye on.  Nobody knows everything to know about a subject, and people are always learning. Hense mohamed and Tunmi. Are they perfect devs, no. Do they disagree with one another on things, yes.  do they sometimes dismiss player suggestions, yes; and thats because if they acted on them one side will be happy and the other will start to gripe and bitch. also if they did the opposite the otherside would be happy and the other will bripe and bitch.  See no pleasing everyone.  Somebody will always be unhappy with the choices they make.  So i encourage them to look at the feed back, way out the bad and the good of every suggestion, and do what is best for the game with said feedback.  Also Tunmi and Mohamed, their will always bee people who give feedback on the pretense of insulting, or hating on the game, and i strongly suggest to simply ignore those hateful feedback suggestions as they will do no good for the progress of the game.  For if you do dwell upon those the haters will win and those who play the game along with you will get a rude smack in the ass with the results if you stew in their nastyness.

I think this new direction this game is taking could have potential however as i see it now, it seems like a bit of a cluster-fuck.  I tried it, and well, I found so many incomplete maps that have become public do to a lack of map inspection.  anyone can build a map, not finish it, and set it as public.  I feel like the maps should pass some kind of inspection by the admins or if not them, the devs to be allowed to become visible and explorable to all.  Also the builder menu is missing some things. the option to set animals, or robots in the map, and many things that have slipped my train of thought.  Also, it seems more broken then before.

I agree with jayjay that refurring to the players comments/feedback as drama is unprofessional when it comes to the devs. but their is also the thing where changing something makes some players happy, and others mad, and then undoing the changes revurses the 2 groups.  And as much as i have to agree with the tyles sounding like they were just cut and pasted in to the game without editing is a bit bothersome, they are trying, well mohamed anyways, get rid of the stolen sounds. Give them some credit.  However i do believe communication is a huge problem in this project when it comes to the devs.  1 will do something, and the other will not like it, and revurse the changes the other one does.  As the owner and purchaser of BloodStorm, I believe mohamed should take his roll as the head dev more seriously, and that all changes go through him.  After all, the lack of communication is parcially why all on-line games do not last.  Their has to be some sembalence of order here if this project is to last.
