Well, finished the game with all my characters at level 20 on easy. The final boss rocked my whole party accept me for some reason, i guess being a warrior helps lol. He made thralls out of my party, who i had to systematically kill. I learned something valuable out of that fight, that i was tougher than anyone else in my party, and was the last one standing. It was rather amusing. But you wanna know the kicker, after beating the game, and then getting in to another random fight, i realized my save was broken because it through a script about lord Adryonus not being in the fight lol. My guess is that he wasn't removed from memory or something. So, i'm going to start from scratch as a necro, and see how that works out. I can also confirm never got certain warrior skills like flurry which bugged me a bit, here's to it getting fixed.

SpoilersSo, could someone help with the tree levers, or explain how they work, given they don't play a sound when they are pulled. Am i supposed to pull them in a certain order, because i found 3 of them, and pulled all 3. I'm near the water vein and did the sap vein, nursory, and i think one other i randomly found in the first ring of the tree. How do i proceed, thanks.

At Jayde, a little hint, and a joke, the monsters in this game don't scail like in Manimon, don't worry. What i mean is, you can beat a lot of things at relatively lower levels and be fine as long as you have some strategy in place, at least, that's been my experience.

Jayde, the more you talk about stats, and particulars, the more i get depressed about the 40 dollars i dropped on this game. Not because it's a bad game, i liked the story mostly, but damn these balance issues are unforgivable. It might be ok if there were only like maybe half the available manimon, but ugh, i can't bring myself to do another playthrough, because i'm reminded about the mons that aren't so great, and how hard my first playthrough was because my manimon weren't hitting hard enough lol. It got done, but i still blame balance issues over play style.

At stained addict, people are untitled to their oppinions. While jayde has a way of expressing himself that you may not agree with, he is not crossing any lines. For the record, i saw your email to dark about this topic, and as a mod, i'm taking your concerns seriously. The bottom line is, people want this game to keep getting updates and support, and i'm one of them. I think that if a developer can't take criticism then they shouldn't be developing for anyone but themselves. Aaron probably doesn't respond to the topic because he is taking a bird's eye view of the topic to possibly find direction in how he wishes to proceed with development.

At dan, i'm a 6th gen pokemon player, which is the most recent. It's very possible to beat x, y, and oras by your yourself, with the drawbacks that have been mentioned. If your a big enough fan of the series, and you have the time, it's worth figuring everything out. As far as manimon is concerned. I did quite a bit of the post-game and then quite suddenly simply dropped the game. Don't know if i will play again or not. I like the game fine, even after all the griping i did, lol, but i think much like palidon of the sky, i just don't see myself doing a ton of playthroughs of this one.

Personally, i'm saving my gamanet for Erodium. I have just used giganets on the other mythicals. Oh another thing, i think there might be a bug in the game where certain moves don't get stab, for example, i think it's called storm rush? Arctana has it, and i thought man that move needs to be more powerful considering that there is a turn where you charge up. It's already got a base 120 behind it, but could use a stab bonus in my oppinion. And what's the deal with the electric mythical having electric surge, and it only doing i swear like 36 damage even when it hit for super effective damage? I'm willing to gloss over some of this stuff, but there just needs to be some balance tweeks, that's all i'm saying.

Ok, just an update on my progress. So i made it to the master stadium, and caught two of the 3 mythical beasts. Still have to get the fire one. I'm at the point in the game where i can safely say i honestly enjoyed the game, funnily enough, for the same reasons i enjoy pokemon. I enjoy team building and battling and found i had a pretty darn good and balanced team throughout the whole game. I would like to see Flamia improved stat wise, he is a starter after all, and should be pretty balanced across the board. While i went with the grass starter, i used him while playing the demo, and he just couldn't take a hit. I enjoyed the dungions and boss battles, and didn't mind the scailing, it keeps you on your toes, and forces you to actually strategize. I'll post more, when i get to the post game.

Hey guys. So, i reached the peak of starwalk mountain, but the guy won't let me pass because he says the manimon are ajitated and to come back in a few days. My first thought was, screw you man, i just climbed this freekin mountain with my team barely alive for you to tell me to come back? Lol just kidding. But i assume i have to get to the top to gain access to the next city, or am i missing something. By the way, how many ice crystals are there, i picked up 2 along the way, but wasn't actively looking for them. Also, where does the rock and telaporter puzzle lead on the fifth floor of the mountain, it seems i didn't need to do it at the time, or do i later, lol. Thanks.

So i beat the second stadium. One thing i have done, is catch everything whether i use them now, or after i complete the game, just to train them and find out move pools and such. Between volpeen and the ghost and ground mon that is in the chest, can't remember his name lol, oh yes, and Fist, i have been able to have a pretty balanced team, actually everyone is pretty much at the same level. By the way, i grabbed the unknown gift Jiminar and it has served me well, despite being a few levels behind for a while.

I tend to trust Jaydes's judgment rather implicitly, which is why i'm not going to drop cash on this. But i'm posting to throw my own comparison in to the mix. So, in the latest pokemon games, post-game there is a battle mason, which is meant to emulate playing against a human using a competitive team. So, basically, the AI will hold items like berrys, choice scarfs, that kind of thing. Naturally, you can't use legendarys, and no two pokemon can be holding the same item. Now my point is, eventually after you wwin enough battles, the AI will actually even use there own legendary pokemon just to rack up the difficulty a little. So, pokemon might stretch your play style a little, but not out-right give you a 7 or 8 on 1 type of battle. It sounds like that god manimon is like a mu two with more than 5 recovers, and even more boosted special attack. Like Jayde said, pokemon never goes against the six on six rule. From what i have played, it seems like 90 percent of 
 the mechanics are pokemon inspired but the plot is of course darker. It's hard to be sold on the fact that this game is inspired by ugio and other RPGs. Not trying to put words in your mouth Aaron, or warp your wording, but as an aside, i think asspects of the game like tri typing should be clearly mentioned in the manual, or at the very least, prepare for a tough fight disclaimer with a short list of why the game isn't like pokemon, tri typing comes to mind, as well as the previously mentioned god manimon, or guard puzzles. I was considering getting the game once some more updates came out, perhaps addressing balance issues, or once people started talking meta-game, but i'm not so sure.

Ok, so i'm not quite through with the demo yet, but here are some thoughts. First, where is the experience share? I can't wait to go through victory road and take on the elite 4. Not to mention, get to the top of sky pillar and catch Rayquaza, wait a minute, ahem, different game, sorry. Point is, i'm having a rather exceedingly hard time allowing myself to really dip my feet in to the Manimon universe and feel like it's it's own thing. I'll concede i'm being a bit snarky, but that comes along with the teritory when i have actually completed quite a few of the main series Pokemon games by myself with some help from some kind folks in this community and gamefaqs.com, but i digress. Point is, i love the mechanics but if i want that experience, i can have it with omega ruby which is about a foot away. I'm not trying to take away the fact that there is some originality here, it's just hard to go against 20 years of serious fandom on my part.
  None is this is meant as a jab against the dev or anyone who enjoys this game. I do still think it's a great game, just not 40 dollars great. Sorry. By the way, if there are die hard pokemon fans on here that are reading this, take it from me, if you want to play pokemon, then it can be played and beate. It takes patients that's for sure. But if you want the Pokemon experience, there is dedicated online forums for the meta game, and all the joy that comes along with being a pokemon fan. Again, i'm not trying to take away from the folks who love this game in it's current form, that's great, but i just want fellow pokemon fans to feel that there is hope when it comes to playing pokemon on your own.

I found an interesting bug in wearhouse missions. I was soloing a basic zombies 10 crater just to check things out. After about 5 crates, when i would pick up more at random the crate would be taken away right after i found it. The screen reader said minus 1. There might have been more to the message, but it kept getting cut off.

To be clear on my stance. I only wanted to point out that i feel the break odds need to be lowered a bit, and of course, dying is a part of the game. My only real complaint is sure, like i said, its a pain to spend rep or run around for a couple of hours to get your gear if you only intend on playing for chunks at a time, instead of putting a day in to your character by grinding. I guess my feeling is that i wish there were options for solo minded players to get respectable chunks of rep if they dont want to go around with groups or lute all day. And im not talking about 250 rep here and there, more like 2000 for completing certain tasks, or similar. Of course, i wouldnt want that rep easily handed to me, but have a fun mission type that could be done by one person.

Im in that same boat as well. I just havent been motivated to play because id rather not gamble on losing everything because the game has a not quite balanced armor system. Sure, people will moan and cry about the game needs to always be challenging and i would mostly conclude with that point of view, but i dont want to play to only have to grind for 3 or 4 hours and then lose my equipment in 2 minutes, just because i went on a mission, and i get vital armor broken, and thus lose my much needed protection. And no, i shouldnt have too by 5 sets of pricy gear because the game decides to break it. Im not spending rep to die, rather to survive, and thats supposed to be the point of the game after all, right? I mean, when you hit q in game it says simply, survive. Not die and have fun doing it. Get my point? Sorry for the rant.

At the d man, those are some good points you made. I was hesitant to buy the game at first because i kind of felt the same about the game being a pretty good test run. 30 dollars seemed like a bit much until i realized that my money could go toward getting better sounds in to the game. From the reaction in this topic so far, i hope that Aaron has enough cash to make some magic happen soon. But i still enjoy the game for what it is anyway, and figure that 30 dollars is a fair price, considering the amount of content.

Hey guys. So, i went ahead and baught the game. I love it so far, its a great RPG. I do think there needs to be some type of sound for even the dice roll moves, as it would make the game that much more complete and atmospheric. Thanks for adding screenreader support as well.

Aprone, small suggestion. Perhaps you could consider running the server with a raid configuration so there is no data loss? Just an idea. Maybe raid 5 or similar.

Ugh, this is dissapointing to say the least. Honestly, im staying away from this version. While sure, sounds are improved, i would still rather use locutuss mod instead. Why would i pay for a version update, come on david, be sensable here.

My points mirror argins in this case. I feel that the price isnt the issue, more that i dont feel like im getting very much in return. The levels are the same, and the mouse feature is a minor request. While appreciated, im not convinced to pay.
