It's defences do suck, but it has a ton of HP. As long as you don't send it out against stuff it shouldn't be fighting, it should be fine, or mine was at least. I used the dude in Hazledale city to help me for it's stats, to which I just assigned TPs to help make them suck a little less.For everyone else, my audio playthrough is done up to the completion of the main game. It apparently transforms to it's final form at level 46, where it will hopefully get some better moves.Hope this helps any of the folks asking about the Palador line. So far I have white lance, rookie punch, battle cry, piledriver [sorry can't spell it properly], and the magic version of battle cry. I'd love to see something stronger than rookie punch, but I haven't seen that yet. I like to have that open while I'm playing so I can reference it. As far as enemy mons go, you can't check it's type unless you've captured it. I think it'll be able to take a few hits.It's defence stats look really good, and I've had to fight a couple now, and they weren't pushovers.I really wish there was an EXP share like item in this game, I could have really used it. Maybe there is, and I just haven't gotten it yet.I honestly can't think of one really bad thing to say about this game. Hard fights may be a problem for some, but EXP grinding is just the name of the game IMHO.If you want to speed up grinding, go in to the options menu and turn off attack sounds. If you walk in to the fire, your lead mon gets damaged.Example 2, arcade hideout place. To open the doors, you have to play arcade games. One thing that helps is to master the energy burst spell. Its not the most powerful, but it can and does help. I cant remember if theres a shop in her dream, but go buy a defence upgrade if there is.
