If you have the mysterious abacus, you can get like 1400 gold by running stage 18 1, so if you do that over and over again you'll be good. I just tend to go to the left and shoot the guys with the middle shooter.

I wonder what are some good stages to grind up my spirit sword. Just finished the game on a new save a few days back, and my spirit sword has something like 530 experience or so and it's at level 8. Currently doing the demon part of 5 4, but that one's sort of, slow. So when my spirit sword gets more damage, I should be able to wreck things in stage 15 or 16 or something.

edit: Not sure what's the proper place to report bugs like this, but seeing as it's not really a catastrophic one, rather a minor bug or something, here goes.I think there's a small error in the stage 12 shop that causes the actual price for large sized speed drinks to not match with the one that's displayed when browsing the items. When I browse the items, it says, large sized speed drink 40 coins. When I entered the shop, I had 50 coins, but when I bought the large speed drink, I was left with 35 coins. So it's actually charging 15 coins rather than the 40 that it says. If the price was 15, then it would let me buy like 3 or so, but even though I had 50 coins and the actual charge was 15 rather than 40 it let me buy just one and I was left with 35 coins. So either the price in the menu is wrong, or those items are slightly bugged. At least I found them in my case. This was originally found out when I found I can buy all the speed drinks I can afford, then hit enter on the item again, buy more, etc.

I think there's a small error in the stage 12 shop that causes the actual price for large sized speed drinks to not match with the one that's displayed when browsing the items. Lol out of curiosity, I wonder what happens if you try to use the overdrive to cross into another system? I heard you can't do that but would I just not be able to overdrive further when I reached the edge? I tried it once when I sorta ran out of hyperspace fuel, tried to use overdrive to get back but that didn't get me very far

So, according to post 40, there's currently no way to disable the laser inhibitor even though the manual says there's a key for that, and f9 doesn't seem to do anything. I then started to wonder, what if I shot at an enemy ship, then another enemy ship got in the line of fire? This is pretty unlikely, but still yeah. An enemy could come in one's line of fire and then start blasting and one can't do anything cause the laser inhibitor has a different target registered, thus it doesn't allow fire. Just something I was wondering cuz it seems like f9 is not working now.

Oh, I got it now, I listened to a demo of the new mission and the gas harvesting stuff and i realized you had to go to a certain spot and press enter. That spot where you hit enter to repair that planet probably should be labeled in the v menu, but that's just a suggestion.

Hmm, i downloaded the latest version of this game, and even though the changelog says the newest version is 2.7, the window title reads scrolling battles 2.6. And at least most of the changes in 2.7 seem to be there, I read them in the changelog and they seemed to be effective even though the window title said version 2.6. Is the version number in the title misspelled, or something? Not sure though if all of those changes in the 2.7 changelog are there though, as the window title said version 2.6, not 2.7, so thought it was a typo.

Hi, something is wrong with the server. There is no way to Access the store through the travelpoint on the main map and also no way to buy stuff when using the undocumented /changemap command to go to the map and trying to buy stuff at 20 20. Also, how do you change the settings for the server and stuff? There is no settings file or anything and nothing is documented on adminhelp about it. And some commands seem to be undocumented in adminhelp, like the changemap command and the give command that I discovered.

It appears that your antivirus program thinks that the game executable contains a virus and therefore is blocking you from running the game. You could check in the settings if there was a way to configure it so that it doesn't go messing into the stw folder, then reinstalling survive the wild.

For some reason I can't play this game because my antivirus (Microsoft Security Essentials) thinks it is a virus. It did the same to desafio mortal a few weeks ago, deleting both of those games. My friend has a problem too, he is trying to download the game and it doesn't work, even tried sharing it to him via a dropbox saved folder, and it doesn't work as well. He is using Avast and it also deletes that file.

And I also got the abacus thingy from 7 1, and that helps with the gold as well because iirc that multiplies the earned gold by 2, and normally when I go through stage 18 1 I get about 750 or so gold so now from each run I think i'll get about 1.6 k.

I'm not yet high enough level to access the gold coin collection stage, i'll need like 2000 or so more levels, sniff sniff... I'd probably need to complete hell mode to get that much, rofl or IDK. Oh and, I thought it didn't let you reset to normal mode if you were already on normal mode? At least if I remember correctly when I was testing shtuff, it just plays a short fade in sound and cancels it. Also, i'm trying to fire up my spirit sword as well. Been trying to do the bread crushing minigame, that has helped a bit, but my stamina is something like 700, so I probably need allot of stamina drinks or something with me, or get fruits, which is one of the reasons why I need a good sum of gold. Also I am trying to build an omega shooter but it is a bitch because mini shooters are hard to get.

I have a question about clear metals, if I for example use a few of the ones I get for beating normal mode in the crafting workshop, can I get more of those clear metals from those modes i've already beaten somehow? Or do I have to use them wisely? Meaning I can't get more of them

How does one get the jukebox key? I thought it's the key j from stage 23 something wasn't it, but apparently not...Also, about changing modes. I see that I can change my game mode from the extra stage. After normal, there is the option for the exciting mode, but let's say, I have enough levels to jump straight to difficult mode. My question here now is, when I feel like changing to another mode and if I jumped straight from normal to difficult mode, would I get the clear medals and other prizes from the previous modes like exciting and hard after completing difficult, or would I only get the stuff for beating difficult mode? Or how does it work?

It seems that I am wrong about the launchers spawning more launchers, I am now on 25 4 again and killed launcher after launcher, and I don't see any launchers appearing. Right now, I only have 1 launcher against me and a few enemies. I think I am going to win this, at least, this part of the stage.

I can't pass 25 4. There are simply way too many launchers in there, and they end up launching so many enemies that I can't keep up with them and the launchers, and I eventually die. And I was thinking about going to 25 2 to grind some levels and maybe raise my hp and stamina stat, but that would probably cause me to lose my healing items and speed drinks that i've been grinding for. Too bad the earlier stages get locked after finishing 24 4, so I can't get more healing items, speed drinks, stamina drinks, stun recovery items and armor, which I definitely need for 25 4, the launchers eventually end up launching more and more launchers until the map is filled with a crap ton of launchers and 100 enemies. Lol.

After the box puzzles in 25 3, I go to another room and see some numbered disks all around. I got another piece of paper with the combination on it, at least there are 10 numbers in it so I thought they are used for that. But when I smash the disk number 6 with my club, everything goes well, but when I smash 3 after 6, they fall back on the board and I followed the numbers on that piece of paper. Am I missing something?

Ok, now this final box in 25 3 I can't figure out. It says 3, 12, and 60, but I can't figure it out. The combinations I come up with don't make any sense to me, I just can't figure it out. And I got a boatload of stamina bots to spawn on the map by now.

I have a problem with a certain puzzle box in 25 3, it says 100, 300, 700, but I for whatever reason can't figure it out. Whatever combination I come up with makes no sence and i've spawned about 12 stamina bots on the map just by getting it wrong so many times because when I get it wrong the box will spawn the stamina bots.

@post 1939, the only way to turn down the game volume is to adjust it through the Windows mixer, I think. Go to the speaker volume settings on the system tray, press enter, then hit on mixer, then you can find the bk3 application by pressing tab and changing the volume from there. There's also an option to mute the application, which is certainly not what you would want.

@post 1934, regarding the dials in 24 3, I think one can start from the top as well, because for me it worked, So I did 35980, setting the dial at the top to 3 and the dial on the bottom to 0, so 35980 respectively.

Is the damage given by mines dependent on the attack stat or something? Because well, I was in 24 4 and something funny happened. I took rid of everything else than the launcher system, it had 90 percent hp or something. Then, I set a large mine on its path, and boom, when it exploded, it died instantly, I went to look in the combat log, and woops, 5 million damage or so, instant death! I wonder if that thing is weak to mines, or is my attack just really good or something, or is it dependent on level?

Ok what happens is, in 25 1 there are 2 switches at y 300, one at the left and one at the right, when I activate the one on the left, it just vanishes as though it has been flipped, but the right one teleports me to that blade thing in the center, I tried activating it several times, and still no luck. Am I doing something wrong?

What do I do in 25 1? There's a door somewhere that leads to another room with a couple doors, and keyhole a. But even though I have the key a from stage 23, I can't use it to unlock that keyhole. And on the main area, there's a switch but i'm not sure on how many times i should press it or what I should do. And eventually when I keep hitting the switch, I soon get killed by a bladelike thing.

I also have a problem with stage 23 1, there is this room with the key 1 in it, but when i try to grab it, and try to use my hook to go to the height it's in, I can only hook up to 7, no matter what stone wall I start from. There are a boatload of stone walls in there, and when I destroy them, there's no way back up to 10, so I have to go back through the door and then enter the room again to try to get the key

@post 1903, yeah, i'm trying to get the omega shooter, but it's a bitch because crafting it needs a boatload of mini shooters, and getting them is sorta slow because I think the only way to get them is to play the levels in stage 16 over and over to kill the small robots and then kill them

hmm, for some reason when I launch the game, it lets me stay in the main menu for a few, then goes network abnormal, exit game. It said that there was an update for the game, and I got that one to work after a bit of a battle. I don't think the network has any trouble, as it worked fine with other things, but i'm not sure how I can fix this. I used the mega link to download, then just ran return of the king.exe, and updated the game, but still nothing. And there is a menu item saying 0.0.0.0 ip address. Odd.

Also how do i cut down the trees because it also said i can cut them down with the cut move, but moves can't be used outside of battle and I didn't get a tm for that.

Hi! @post 49, this might be a little tricky, but you have to delete a certain file in your user config to do it. Hit wondows + r to get into the run dialog and type %appdata%, then you have to go to a folder called sbp and delete the data.dat from there. It should now be gone.

Hi crashmaster,This might be slightly off topic, but for example, ultrapower is a side scroller. The only case the up and down arrows are used as movement keys are when on staircases and stuf. The movement of course depends on which game it is, but mainly sidescrollers are left to right, and sometimes also up and down navigation.
