Re: An early christmas present Hello there everyone, Ive just connected with the server, and I tried giving commands and interacting with objects, but nothing worked. I escaped out, and attempted to reconnect thinking this would fix the problem, when I was informed that I wasnt running a current version of the game so Ive uninstalled the game. Re: An early christmas present well then I guess that explains why NVDA tells me that there was an error connecting to the server, returning to the main menue in 5 seconds. Yes, I bit the bullet and downloaded NVDA just so I could play this game since jaws doesnt seem to like it very much. I pull up the menu and NVDA gives me the only two options that seem to be in the main menue at this point, connect to server and exit. Theres one other item that doesnt seem to talk at the moment, but I suppose thatll be worked on. And Im guessing that you can creat your character after youve connected to the server? Im really looking forward to playing this game and Danny, Im looking forward to seeing how you turn this into a virtual world. And lets try not to make it such a mockery of muds like miriani. Lets make it euniquely ours. For example, you could fix it so that people could discover as yet unknown planets and if they arent habitable by humans, then yo u could have them terraformed. Ive got more ideas besides the terraforming idea. Have a wonderful day everyone. Re: An early christmas present Hi there Danny, karate25 is my username on here, and Ive played the alpha version of deathmatch, and I have to tell you, that youve got all of the makings of a virtual world on your hands if you do it right. Id like to talk with you if possible off forum because Ive got lots of ideas that you could incorporate into deathmatch to make it a virtual world for the blind. Also, Ive tried downloading and playing the game, and jaws really doesnt seem to work well. When I pull up the game, I hear the ambiance, and when I move the arrows up and down, I hear the beeps, but no speech. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Im using the very latest version of jaws and Im using windows 8.1 as my operating system. Have a wonderful day and I hope to hear from you soon.
