In regards to the sounds: We're currently collecting sound effects for the different production slots, as it can get very tiresome to hear the same generic machine noise 20 times in a row. It will take us a while to gather 32 different, distinct sounds though. Some of them are rather tricky, either because they are very similar (like copper, stone, iron and coal), and some are just plain difficult (like meat, grain or a fishing rod).In terms of battery drain, we're working on improving the performance a lot, and that will improve the battery life a lot as well.

We're thinking about lifting the 40% cap of the princess entirely. We originally put it in to get a handle on balancing the sale prices and preventing them from spiraling out of control - but that turned out to be unnecessary.We'll also be increasing the rewards for the higher level quests with the next update. All quests that you have already completed will automatically award the new, higher reward, so nobody will miss out.

Hi everybody, we had to take the app down from the app store temporarily, because the version that got uploaded to the store had a big bug in it that made it impossible to use the world map. Ironically, this bug only affects sighted players.We're already working on a fix and will have the app back in the store as soon as possible.I'm sorry for posting only now, we only found this out at 3am last night.

Could you send me an email: m...@metalpopgames.com@NettaThe game is the same for Android and iOS, with only parts of it being separately developed. The swipe detection is one of those things. On iOS we will now be using native detection, meaning the phone itself will forward swipes etc to the game. On Android we want to go the same route, but have to implement this completely differently.

Hi everyone,Just wanted to give a quick update:* We fixed the swipe lag issue on iOS and the next update will bring a BIG improvement in that aspect.* There has been an overwhelming demand for a button that will refresh all automations at once (from sighted and blind players alike). We will be adding a new quest line to the game which will give this button as a reward.* Boosts and In-App Purchasing: Anyone opting to buy the no-more-videos option will be able to activate the boosts immediately, without having to watch a 30 second video. Nothing else will change. The option to watch a video will of course remain, and the option to buy away the ads is completely optional.@Chripa - thank you a ton for your bug and idea list.

In general, if you hear the announcement to suspend TalkBack, then the accessibility mode of the game is already turned on. Triple tapping won't change anything, or, at worst, turn it back off.I know that in a few cases the game wouldn't recognize swipe until you tap in the middle of the screen at least once, to activate the game's view. Could you try that? (I don't know if the people reporting that tapped with one or two fingers, probably best to try both)Also, to test whether something else is catching the input, could you try swiping with two fingers instead of one? If any other screen reader is active, that is usually necessary.

Originally we wanted to keep the game free of any in app purchases, because there are so many games out there asking you to spend real money at every turn.We were honestly surprised that we have since received a lot of feedback, especially from sighted users, that they would like a purchase option to get rid of the ads. It's happened enough to have made us reconsider. Since it would be completely optional it would be OK I guess. So one of the next updates will add the option to buy away all the ads forever.On another note - a button to refresh all automations will be added as well. It will be added as a reward for a new quest line that will be included in one of the next updates.

Hi, someone reported that ad videos wouldn't play until the middle of the screen was tapped, and somebody else reported a red line on screen. Also I repeatedly read that it's hard to exit the ads again. I looked into it and found that one of the ad providers shows a pre-video screen which requires players to manually start the video, and then another button to end it. These buttons are red, to my knowledge, by the way. I believe that this might have been the cause of the problems. Not all ads are from the same provider, it is chosen at random, so not everybody would see the same problems.We have disabled these pre and post video buttons with the ad provider, so within the next few hours, when everything has updated on their servers, these issues should go away. I hope this fixes the issues once and for all.

I just wanted to post a quick update: Based on the feedback we've received from our lovely and awesome beta testers, the crash bug seems to have indeed been fixed. We submitted the update to the store and hope that we can get through the review either tomorrow or the day after. I will post a change list here once it is available.In the meantime we won't sit idle though, we're already working on more improvements that didn't make it into this update. Better number formatting and better swipe detection will be part of that. Also, the estate will finally read out a description of what your home currently looks like.We could have waited with this update to include those changes, but fixing crashes and bugs should always be done sooner rather than later.

The jumping VoiceOver focus is related to the swipe detection and Touch Explore misfiring. We're already working on a fix, but it will take a few days to rewrite the code for this particular part of the game.

Hi shrike,claiming the quest rewards will reset the progress, that is correct. However, you start over with a lot of bonuses. Depending on which quests you completed, your lumberyard will now produce faster, more products and you'll earn more money at the market. Also, neither the estate or the princess will be reset.If you want an overview of your current active bonuses, go to the castle and find the button "View Upgrades". There you can see a list of your upgrades that you already earned.This mechanic will allow you to produce faster and earn more money, buy cheaper storage etc, and every time you restart it will take you a lot less time to get to where you were. You won't be able to get to the really high valued products or really expensive properties without those restart boosts.

The low swiping sensitivity doesn't come from the performance, it actually comes from our detection code. We are working on that too, because it definitely can be much improved. This update doesn't contain any improvements to the swipe detection yet though, sorry.

iOS Players on iOS 9.x - we have found a potential fix for the crash and it is beta testing now. If it holds up, it will go online as soon as Apple reviews it, which usually takes between 1 and 3 days.

@Dragos and @amerikranianWe have encountered this problem too, that the app closes immediately again at start. We've been spending today working on this, but are having trouble reproducing it reliably. Like you said, it is random. All over sudden it will work, then it will not work, then it will work again. We're currently starting the game 100 times an hour in the hopes that it will fail to load. As you can guess, if you actively want it to crash, it won't...I'll keep you posted.

I replied to the posts there.To summarize it here as well:- there is a bug we found today that makes certain parts of the interface invisible when the game progress is reset. We're already working on a fix and there'll be an update soon. Until then, the app need as to be closed and restarted. - we get no say in where the close buttons on the ads are. That's why TalkBack needs to be resumed. But they can usually be found via Touch Explore or swiping. Swipes may need to be down instead of right, because ads often times silently put the phone in landscape mode. Close buttons are sometimes labeled L or I instead of a proper label. This is unfortunately out of our hands. One person suggested to instead use the usually very easy to find "Go to the store button" and then exit back from there.The soft keys for home and back at the bottom of the screen are only hidden, no
 t disabled (again, we really have no control over what the ads do here). With TalkBack on, swipe up from the bottom of the screen with two fingers to bring them back for a few seconds.I wish there was an easier way, but we really can't in any way influence what ads are doing with the screen. We also can't get rid of the ads, because it's the only way to earn any money from the game and make more games.We're currently discussing a buyout option, where you can activate boosts without ads after buying an in-app purchase. It really wasn't our original plan and we only started considering it now, after some people told is they'd rather pay than watch ads, or there are no ads available in their country. We haven't decided on this yet, though. We wanted to keep the game free of in-app purchases, but of course we can see how it actually might make sense to offer an alternative.

Dragos, could you test two things for me - one is restarting your phone completely, and the other is trying to launch the game in airplane mode, so that there is no internet connection. Hi everybody, Apple just approved the update and it is now live in the store.Here's a list of changes that made it into the new iOS version:- Main menu performance improved, so that it no longer makes finding or tapping the play button impossible- Treasure chests stay in the map a little longer- VoiceOver can now be turned off during play and system voice will be used as fallback- Tutorial popups no longer make the estate or city screen inaccessible when entering them for the first time- Button to add more production slots is now accessible- Options menu is now easier to close, just swipe down 4 times and you'll end up on the close button- Added quit game button to main menu- Other music will no longer be stopped when entering the game- After activating a boost it will announce how long it is going to be activeThis version will be a lot better and easier to use for those with iPhones that have newer chip

Yes, the swipe detection is a little slow. We have a received a lot of feedback on this. We are planning to greatly improve the swipe sensitivity in one of the next updates. Unfortunately there is no quick fix for this issue, we need to write quite a bit of new code for swipe detection - which means I can't give you an exact date as to when that will be released.

Alright, then this is definitely a bug in the game. It might however be related to a problem in your old Android version. That's worth investigating. I already have a possible fix in mind that I'll try to include in the next update.A Blind Legend is a great game! But it doesn't use rewarded video ads as far as I know, does it? So it would naturally not suffer from the same problems.

Hi amirmohammad,I tried to reproduce what your are seeing, but it works fine every time for me, so I am having trouble finding a way to make it happen on my phone.The only thing I could think of is that you might be exiting the ad before it is completely finished. In that case the ad isn't counted and reports back as a cancelled video and the boost will not be active.If you are sure the ad is completely finished, but the Back button still doesn't work, it might be safer to use Talkback to navigate to the Close button. The close button unfortunately is often labeled just with the letter L or similar. We are not allowed to provide a better label, so there is nothing we can do to change that.If TalkBack doesn't react, it might be that the ad switched the phone into landscape mode. The majority of ads seem to be landscape. In that case your swipe direction would need to change, in order to find the ad close button.Could you try that and s
 ee if that solves your issue? What kind of phone are you using? I know Samsung phones usually run a heavily modified version of Android, which causes lots of issues.

Hi everyone, thank you for your patience. The iOS update is still not through the Apple review. I am crossing my fingers that it might get approved today though.Until then, I heard that some people had success with double tapping a lot slower and harder that they'd usually do. If you manage to get the play button selected, you can keep trying to double tap. Once you made it into the main game, the lag disappears and you can play normally. The swiping will need a little longer swipes than you are used to, and we hope to improve on the swipe sensitivity as well in the future.It seems that the native VoiceOver is really impressively good and fast at recognizing fast swipes and flicks, and that's what we would like to aim for as well.

The updated iOS version is currently in review by Apple. They take up to three days before they allow an update through.But it might also be faster - last time it only took them a day. Since it is weekend though, I am not expecting that.I will make another post here as soon as it is available.The new iOS version fixes a lot of the issues in the main menu that the newer iPhones were having. It will also be possible to turn off VoiceOver while inside the game now and the game will use the system's voice instead. We're still investigating the problem further though. The game will now be payable but there is still some unexplained lag. But it only happens on new devices, specifically iPhone 7 and 6s, and only with VoiceOver on. We'll make another update once we have that sorted out, too.

Then the production slot issue is finally fixed.The iOS issue is on its way to being fixed as well. We will upload a new version as soon as possible with the issue greatly improved. It isn't perfectly fixed yet but the game will now be playable. The issue is related to VoiceOver directly, and in addition, the app will now detect if VoiceOver is turned off in the middle of play. That way affected players can further improve the responsiveness of the app by turning off VoiceOver after launch.

Both, you can manually craft items, or automate your production slots.If a slot is automated it will run and craft by itself for a while, even when you're not in the game. It will run for 10 minutes in the early game, and then longer once you start completing quests. After that time is up you need to come back, open the app and restart all of your productions by activating the production button on each slot.By the way: You can still speed up production even if a slot is automated by repeatedly tapping the production button. Each time will make the progress jump a little forward.

Hi flame_elchemist,the game seems to have an issue with the s series, which means the 5s, the 6s and seemingly all iPhone 7 are affected. We're currently investigating this and will have a fix up as soon as possible

Hi guiador,there is a bug in the current version which makes the button to add more production slots to the Lumberyard inaccessible.Without adding more production slots, you are stuck with creating just one log at a time. It is very true, this makes advancing incredibly slow. But this is a bug, and I will upload a new Android version later today with that issue fixed!Once you can add more production slots, you can build many items in parallel. Then you will advance much much quicker.

Hi amerikranian, thank you for that detailed feedback. The long delay is something we're trying to fix, and are actively working on. There seems to be an issue with some newer iPhone models. Interestingly, all older model (iPhone 5 for example) run smoothly.This is actually a performance issue, which is responsible for almost everything else, include the bouncing VoiceOver focus cursor, and the fact that the Options menu appears to not have a close button. It does, by the way, it's the last element, right after the music toggle. It's in the lower third of the screen. I did just find a bug however that made the button for adding a production slot invisible! This will be fixed with the next update!

Unfortunately that one is completely out of our hands. The Ad providers are creating that button and labeling it. As much as I would want to fix it, we don't have access to that. For the duration of the ad, control is completely taken away from the game. For good reason, otherwise apps could cheat ad providers.

The swipe detection on iOS isn't as sensitive as VoiceOver itself, but we intend to improve that in a later version.

Android users should leave TalkBack on at the first game start and then suspend it during the main menu. The reason is that the game will ask for access permissions, and that dialog is only accessible with VoiceOver.You could leave TalkBack enabled during play as well, but then all swipes and taps need to be done with two fingers instead of one.

Awesome, thank you so much for the feedback so far. I just made a little TODO list:- Add spoken feedback after a watched boost, stating that the boost is now active- add a label in the castle if there are no upgrades yet in - Add an explanation in the help screen that you start with one production slot, but can simply buy more production slots by swiping past the last one in the listTo the problems that some iOS players are experiencing: It seems that this is a bug that happens only on newer iPhones. We're busy working on a fix. I'm sorry for the issues, and we're working as fast as possible to get this taken care of.

We just released the game today and we would love to know what you think!The game focuses a lot on crafting resources, producing goods and then selling them.You start out small, chopping logs in your lumberyard. Eventually you will work your way up and be able to unlock new products, buy new buildings and production facilities which allow you to produce more valuable goods.You can also build out your own estate, if you have the necessary construction materials.The game is incremental, which means one of the gameplay mechanics is that you need to restart your progress every now and then to get ahead.You complete quests and earn bonuses like faster production and higher sale prices for your next restart.The game is free. There are optional ads, but no in-app purchases.
