Re: let's talk rise of skywalker I'm in Hungary, and audio describtion is a thing here that exists only for some films such as Paulstreet Boys and other really old ones. So if I want to watch something audio described, then I must do it in english. I'm not a huge fan of watching movies or series so Netflix doesn't worth the price for me, I won't pay monthly to watch only one movie in the whole year. And I'm underage so it's not a last thing that my parents would have to pay, who watch movies only when they see them on TV. Okay, sometimes we go to the cinema, but we really need to deserve that. I saw only Fantastic Beasts 2 in cinema and I'll see the Rise of Skywalker, but I don't think after that there'll be lots of times when we do such. In Hungary, this headset with audio describtion simply doesn't exist at all, even in Budapest it doesn't, so. The only problem I always had with the Star Wars films, is the lack of describtion and speech sometimes. I mean, that without reading after it, I wouldn't know what happens in the movies. My tactic was always to read the books based on the films first, and then I could watch the movies without any problems. Sadly, this won't be the case with the Rise of Skywalker, but I guess my Star Wars fan mom will describe most of the things. Their music is powerfull and melodic, and not that usual shouting nonsense and calling it as metal I love that their songs contain a lot of history, and it's a legal way of cheating before a history test, listening to the song that relates to the topic, right. We don't really have professional mycrophones with which we can record. Maybe the music composing could be solved, but the recording, eh well.2. If players know that the actual work was made by them, they won't buy the game. It's okay that they get a copy of it, but they won't encourage their friends or anyone to buy it because they won't think it worths that much.3. If nobody buys the product, you won't get money for it, because you were just sitting in the background and wrote the code which you already got everything for, by the actual players of your game.4. I don't think I'd love to play a game in which for example I was the sound of someone, or I composed the music, or anything. If you needed only sounds, that's a different case, and people would be happy to help you out. But this competition literaly means that we should make up the whole game and then you'll program it in. Re: I'm leaving for now Mason did many many bad things, indeed. But a few questions here.1. Mason gave Sam ultrapower, but Sam didn't do anything with it. For me it seems a bit like he was just collecting projects to let the original developers not to be able to revive it anymore.2. The reason of the depression. Let's believe it all and let's take it to a serious level, Sam has mental issues. So. He took redspot down, he never goes to STW unless he wants to write a day message full of spelling mistakes, but that's all. That admin base is literaly dead. So how in the hell doesn't have time to calm down a bit, you know what I mean, time for himself. I'm sure he keeps developing his games, but for example I am in school about 8 hours a day, maybe more, I come home and study, and after that I still have time for myself, for my friends and etc etc.Mason's attitude in these last posts were totally wrong and rude. I agree with that. But now everyone thinks about this whole situation from only one side, and nobody examines both of the sides. Now the generally accepted behavior is to feel sorry for Sam and bash Mason as much as possible.But do you think this is good, seriously? Doesn't anyone think that at this point we truly lost democracy, when we have only one accepted behavior and the ones who think differently are sent off to hell?I, of course, feel sorry for Sam. It could be a total mess to be depressed, and I hope he gets out of it soon.But you know, sadly, he's not alone. Do you know how many actors, musicians, and even general, I mean, not so unique people suffer in this? Nowadays it's a trend to talk about it, that's what I meant when I asked since when it become a trend to brag about this. Unfortunately, these famous attention seekers use it indeed for bragging, and they throw big words out to the crowd listening to them, but with that it's not getting better. How could a fan base help them with single words? I could say "be fine", "it's all right", "don't worry", all over, but these are just empty words.I think if I were depressed, only my close friends would know about it. And if a public forum made me depressed, I'm sure I wouldn't tell it to the same public forum which was the cause of my illness.And finally, why couldn't he just say a simple no in that UP topic? Why did he feel the urge to come up with this new one, in which he tells how miserable his life is and that the last month was the happiest in his life?So if I, as a normal, usual gamer person came up with a topic like hey all, I'm suffering so I'm leaving, what would the people say? Because I know. Goodbye, be happy, we don't care, and stuff like that. I know, he had a huger reputation here, and it doesn't worth comparing him to me or any other of us, but he's a normal, civil person after all.
